Precision tech showed up as promised on Saturday morning for air con "diagnostic." For some reason a Precision Project Manager also showed up. Hooked-up gauges and they found the air con gas was very low. I asked them to check the evaporator for leaks, but they declined, stating that diagnostic ($99) doesn't include looking for leaks. Asked them what they charge to replace the evaporator coil, their "Project Manager" stated $3,500. (Really? I had one changed in another a/c unit last year for $1,400.) PM said something about me not being the right kind of customer for their company. I suggested he was probably correct. Two hours later I got a quote from another air con company for $4,000 to completely replace the HVAC system (new outside and inside units, SEER 14, R410A). That company completed the change-out on Monday. Total $4,000 exactly as quoted. New system by others is working just fine. I can think of other things to say, but my mother always told me to be nice! read more

We had an issue with our A/C going out last night - by 9am the following morning Elaine set us up a service call (I requested the call be between 9-11am) and by 10:30am the unit was fixed by a very knowledgeable service technician, Ramiro. The tech came within an hour of our call at 5pm to diagnose what was going on and PM came out that same night to walk thru options and pricing (we ended up having to replace our old unit). He the had a team ready to go two days later And in the mean time, he gave us a portable AC unit to help keep the house cool! It was good before. I actually used Precision to install me a new AC in my other house 2 years ago and they did a fantastic job! However, something happened with them now--changed ownership? When I ordered to have a tune up done (they advertised on their website) a 3 person team came in and, while I usually would not mind to hear a sales pitch at times, I really got a feeling all they were after was to Sell Sell Sell... I really wanted them to check and tune my AC up before summer really starts and, yes, my AC is old yet instead of trying to tune it up went into their sales pitch, John that is??? I've ordered several tune ups before and it takes efforts.. At least you wash the coils outside, check drain line is draining, check a few things inside...maybe check in the attic--if they'd care enough for the customer.. Forget this with these guys.. Forget the attic.. I feel, if I did not ask these guys to rinse coils they probably would not.. And they run out of my house--forget tune-up--as fast as they could as soon as I told them I was not interested in replacing my AC--I JUST NEEDED A TUNE UP DONE.. Even on their website Tuneup was advertised to be one price yet I got stuck with with more expensive price tag.. for what a sales pitch?? "Or sir, we would have to document that you refused our recommendations, your system is not working". What??--I know it is working or I would not call you to do a tune-up only.. at 90-100F outside we already have in Texas... That was something.. and if these guys messed something up so system "is not working" all of a sudden AFTER this "classy" of a tune-up I will be leaving another very bad review or report them to BBB.. My system was working. It was, in fact, blowing me off my office chair.. Old system yet it all depends on how system is installed at the beginning--and it seems mine was pretty good, as system is 15-20 years old and was kicking ass.. Hopefully will still be unless this "Tune up" does something.. Shame on you guys. Precision used to be best in class.. Now it turned in one of those push Sales pitches company?? After several days of 100+ heat, my AC would stop cooling around 5pm and stay that way unless I shut it off and let it "cool" down. Precision came out to do their system check and told me that my system was "failing" and would need to be replaced. The tech wouldn't give me an exact quote - only a "Comfort Consultant" (a separate appointment) could do that. But he did give me a ballpark of around $5K to replace my system. He suggested I not run it at all and just 'get a window unit' in the meantime. I had another company come out for a second opinion. The second company said my AC was fine except for needing a new capacitor. Had that replaced for a few hundred dollars and all has been well for the past 3 weeks. I know Precision has a lot of great reviews and honestly that's one of the reasons I called them in the first place. But I'm really glad (several thousands of dollars glad) that I didn't listen to them. read more

I read the reviews here and decided to call this place for our A/C unit that was freezing up. When I called, I told the young lady we had a manufactured home. I also told her we work nights, so to please schedule us late morning. She said she'd let them know and we set it up. The technician called us first just after 9:00am, and then again around 9:30am. He said he was on the way, which, okay - we got up and waited patiently for his arrival so we could get our A/C fixed. About 20 minutes later he arrives to the address, calls without even coming to the door, and tells me they don't work on mobile homes. Something about the duct work... it's all under the house and easy to get to, so I don't understand that but whatever. So - when I call to make the appointment, I tell the woman what type of house we're in, she schedules the appointment with that knowledge, and suddenly the technician doesn't want to do the work? He says sorry, someone screwed up. If I'd known that when I made the appointment yesterday, I could have called someone else THEN rather than sweltering in a hot house all night long as the woman asked me to turn the unit off until he could arrive. I could have possibly gotten more sleep before I have to work until 1:00am tonight. I'm very disappointed in this experience, simply because "someone screwed up" and I'm the one left with the problem I expected to have fixed. read more

UPDATE: Russell the manager called to correct the miscommunication. I've only ever heard great things about Precision Heating and Air and they lived up to their name. Their ACTUAL policy isn't to charge their customer twice due to inclement weather, I thought that was strange and should have asked to speak to a manager to have them confirm. Either way they called to clear up the issue but I had already scheduled another company to come out. However you can tell they're passionate about their business and making things right. Thanks Precision, I'll be keeping you in mind for next time. If you want to get ripped off call Precision. I had an entirely new HVAC system installed by them 3 years ago. I believe the cost was about $8,000. Yesterday the condensate pump went out. I figured out what was wrong and called Precision. Told them the condensate pump went out and could they replace it. They sent a technician out to my house the next day which was great. He walked in, looked at it, said yep, your condensate pump is out. Took about 10 seconds. That will be $85 for a diagnostic fee. Seriously? But, this is nothing...keep reading. The diagnostic fee can be applied to my repairs so it's not a big deal. Unless of course they completely overcharge you to do the repair! Next, the technician says they have to order a condensate pump for me. So, why didn't you bring one when I specifically said that is what I need replaced? Not sure... Just doing his job. Now for the real kick in the pants...It will be $630 to replace your condensate pump. The condensate pump can be bought online for about $50. There are also online guides that say it will take about 10-15 minutes to do the repair. So, $630 to install a new pump that costs $50 and should be done in 10 minutes. Still gets better...when I ask if it's covered by a warranty since Precision installed my new HVAC system only 3 years ago, the technician says, it doesn't look like they replaced the condensate pump when they installed your new system. So, I bought an entirely new HVAC system and they couldn't replace a $50 condensate pump that is attached to it and necessary to make the system run??? This is exactly the type of company you don't want to work with. I'm in real estate and I've been referring clients to them for the past few years. When our A/C went out, Jordan came at midnight and fixed the problem: the drain for our unit's condensation was clogged from a buildup of mold. This has been a pesky problem since the house was built 30 years ago. The builder created the problem by putting the drain on the other side of the attic with little or no slope. Condensation flows poorly so mold flourishes. A month after Jordan fixed it I decided to to prevent mold buildup by pouring in bleach, but I didn't know that a good portion of the liquid flowed into the A/C unit rather than the drain. The next day I followed this with water and then Liquid Plumber, and some of this too flowed into our A/C. 24 hours later the drain was again clogged, this time with material etched from the inside of the A/C. Once again Jordan promptly came to our rescue. He kindly said nothing about my being responsible for the latest clog and focused on the long-term problem. With help from his co-workers Seth and Frank, we now have a condensation pump that forces the water where it belongs and eliminates mold buildup. I'm confident that our pesky 30-year problem is behind us. Thanks Precision! read more

I initially wrote a one-star review for Precision based on competing information I received from another local (5 star Yelp rated) company. Precision indicated that we had low Freon and our evaporator coil was leaking. The other company (who we were working with for our home warranty) said that the Freon levels were not low and we had no leak. Precision had recommended an entire system replacement, which made me very suspicious of their motivation. Joe, the owner of Precision, called me within 15 minutes of the review posting and offered to send another tech out, free of charge, to confirm the system leak the next day (Saturday). He indicated that if their tech was wrong - if there was no leak - that he would refund the money I had paid for the annual A/C and heating tune up. First and foremost, this is an excellent customer service response to a negative review, which I genuinely appreciated. Joe sent Todd, a senior member of his team, to confirm the leak. Todd called at 10 am sharp (for a 10 am - 12 pm window) to check when he could come out. He showed up when he said he would and let my husband and I tag along with him to look at all the measurements he was taking and understand what it all meant. Todd echoed some of the same concerns of the original technician - also finding that our Freon was low (a derived number, interestingly - so there's some room for error by all parties) and that our duct work needs to be revisited when we choose to replace the system. Todd also attempted to find a leak in the system and was unable to do so - but mentioned that his tool for confirming leaks is generally more accurate than the one used by the original technician. However, Todd's response to the situation was, in my opinion, much more realistic and took into account the information we had given Precision (namely, that we aren't in a financial position to replace the entire system at this point and would like to get their input on the best option to move forward). He recommended refilling the Freon, since we had no idea what level it was at when we purchased the house, and indicated that it's likely there is a small leak that we should continue monitoring (the system is a closed loop, if some is missing, it had to go somewhere...). We ended up only needing a pound of Freon, and he recommended having the Freon levels checked again if we experience issues in cooling the property this summer or in one year, during our A/C check-up next spring. We also talked to him briefly about a vent in our attic that originally went to the kitchen and is now just blowing air into the attic directly. We discussed the cost to either seal over the vent (so that we aren't cooling the attic) or dropping the vent down into the kitchen. He was able to give us prices right then for the work - which we do want to have done immediately. This is information we had requested from the first technician but ended up being bundled in our "whole system overhaul" price. I am happy to revise my rating to 5 stars following Todd's visit. I do still believe there was some inherent bias to replace our aging system in our discussions with the original tech - an understandable response, but not one that met our needs. Going forward, we will be working with Precision to fix the vent to the kitchen, and I will request Todd by name the next time we need a unit checked. read more

21 year old A/C died on 7/4 while we were at dinner. Chris and his trainee put in a new capacitor on 7/5, but it wasn't enough to save it and it died for good on 7/8 - after business hours of course. Luckily, Troy had been out to give me an estimate on a replacement unit on 7/7. I called Troy and he immediately got the ball rolling to have a new unit installed. I chose the build with the 19VS 5-stage compressor. Troy called back to tell me that they had just sold the last one, but that they were upgrading me to the Greenspeed Dualfuel unit for free AND they would be able to install on Sunday 7/10. It all went like clockwork and we had a brand new, awesome A/C by Sunday evening. I've purchased a Maintenance Agreement, but have not been contacted for the Fall service yet. Of course, It's only mid-September so that might be why. Energy Savings: I was told that I would 50-60% on my energy bill with this new unit. While I haven't realized those savings, let me give you some actual numbers. * In the August 2015 billing period, we used 1,919 KWH. August 2016? 1,745 KWH. * During the September 2015 billing period we used 2,189 KWH. September 2016? 1,577! Also, I'm keeping the house 2 degrees cooler than before. So the lower usage is even more impressive. That is some serious savings and I'm quite pleased. These are good people that work hard and work with you. They've certainly earned my repeat business. read more

Nothing like having your A/C go out in a central Texas summer. Precision Heating and Air to the rescue. They came out the next day and diagnosed the issue (dead compressor) and then a lovely man came by to give us the bad news about the cost of a new unit. It's could be hard to write a glowing review when someone comes to tell you that you'll need to fork over more than $5k to get a new unit, but the folks at Precision were very honest about our options and didn't try to upsell us what we didn't need. Once we decided on the system, their technicians came and installed it the next week. Thankfully, we had a functioning upstairs unit and didn't suffer too much. The two techs were courteous and efficient. They completed the removal and installation of the new unit in a few hours, installed some CO detectors and cleaned up. No, it wasn't fun having to buy a new AC unit, but I am enjoying the cool comfort of my quiet, new, energy efficient unit. read more

90 degree weather is pretty mild for Austin, but it doesn't make it any more pleasant. So when our A/C started leaking one Saturday morning, we combed Angie's list and Yelp for a reputable repair-guy. Chris from Precision Heating & Air was in our home by noon examining the problem, and we thought the issue was resolved by the time he left. Unfortunately, the leaking continued. Chris came back later that afternoon and delivered the bad news: He'd taken it as far as he could, and our A/C needed to be replaced. Normally we'd be skeptical about this type of news, but we were aware that our A/C was on its last legs. The sales rep, Gary, came to our home the next day (a Sunday!) and got us scheduled for a replacement that week. Mando and Adrian arrived on time and did an excellent job. Everyone was knowledgeable, friendly, and seemed to enjoy their jobs. They had great things to say about their employer, and that means a lot! So while you might be able to find a slightly better deal somewhere else, you can trust Precision Heating & Air to treat its employees well and deliver an important service at a fair price. read more

They have been very reliable and responsive over the last 3 years, starting after our reno contractor bent the drain line causing the pan to overflow in our dining room. This is a direct quote from the Yelp guy for Precision, "how about I get this refund out and you change or delete review? Fair?" So think before you just take the "good" reviews at face value about how many stars this company might have bought... Horrible business practices... I tried installing a smart thermostat myself but didn't feel comfortable trying to pull the 24v constant power it needed. They knew exactly what the issue was and quoted me $75 for a standard thermostat install NOT A DIAGNOSTIC FEE WAIVED WITH REPAIRS. The technician they sent out spent roughly an hour at my house basically staring at my HVAC unit and said it couldn't be done. Ecobee insisted that it could be done so I asked if Precision could send someone else out that knew more about smart thermostats. The tech tried to get me to pay and leave WITHOUT REWIRING MY OLD SYSTEM saying they would come out later in the week and that I would be charged twice since two techs had to come out. I refused to pay and insisted they send out another tech that day since we had no AC and it was in the 100's outside. No one communicated anything to me about a different rate for "minor repair". The second tech came later that day and was able to fix it in 30 minutes. He said it was the hottest house he had ever been in. When he requested payment it was $150. It was obvious to me at the time what the first tech said about having to pay for both techs to come out was correct. I had spent the entire day in a house at 100 degrees and figured $75 wasn't worth arguing over so I paid the man. No one tried to refund me after the fact like it states below. All I wanted to do was get my experience out there and I have to deal with another bad experience by having a comment posted on my review that is a complete lie. I contacted Precision Heating & Air after having some issues with another large company that was seriously mismanaged and had issues with scheduled appointments. Not so with Precision. I've had Precision at my house twice now for my yearly maintenance visits and I am very pleased. These guys are both friendly and extremely knowledgeable and they actually show up on their scheduled times. I also feel that they are being honest and I do trust them. You're always weary about being sold on stuff you don't really need, but these guys actually do seem to be focused on customer satisfaction and a long time business relationship, and that is clearly number one in most peoples book. The minute I smell a salesman, I'm gone! Another thing I find crucial is that this company makes sure their employees are always on top of technology and the latest certifications. They are Carrier certified which is a also BIG plus for me. I need someone who has the knowledge to be able to quickly and efficiently diagnose any potential issues, so being up to date with the proper education is very important to me. Lots of great one man good ol' boys out there, and many of them do nice work and are good honest people. But in the end, you need a company that has the resources to take care of your every need and who are equipped with modern tools, so that's another good reason to call Precision. So far, I'm happy with my choice and I did sign up for their yearly maintenance agreement. read more

We have been customers of Precision since February of 2020. We are on their yearly maintenance plan. Precision has worked on our A/C eleven times in less than two years. As of now, it is not working properly. It has not worked properly for more than a few months since they began working on it. It is not old and was as reliable as any A/C prior to Precision. We've paid thousands of dollars to Precision in less than two years. We don't prefer complaining online. Rather, we prefer to make the vendor understand that we are unhappy and work with them to rectify the problem. We tried that for over a year. They are always prompt, courteous and professional. Our A/C still doesn't work. The latest episode is proving too much for us to remain quiet. Last week I received their email about our twice-yearly checkup. The A/C was working fine. I scheduled the checkup as recommended. The technician arrived Thursday and completed his checkup, saying that everything looked ok. When he left, the house began to heat up. It did not cool down. The same technician came back Saturday. He told us he had mistakenly let coolant escape when he was checking the pressure. He added more coolant and left. The A/C still doesn't cool. I called again. The new technician arrived Monday afternoon and said the compressor was frozen. He shut down the whole unit and said someone will call me to schedule a time to come out once more. He could not give me a day. So here we sit, both working from home, with no A/C at all - and this time, it was working perfectly before they touched it. Those are just the facts, with no unqualified opinion whatsoever. If I hear back from them, I'll update this review. read more

3/19/15 - Update: My STR license is still pending, but I am upgrading review as the managers and owner do seem to genuinely care about customer service and making things right. I am however leaving the review online as learning lesson for other homeowners. 3/10/15 - Update: Precision Rep called me up immediately and sent me copies of the service ticket and City Of Austin Permit. He said I was communicated on the electrical issue and this is also noted in the service ticket that I signed off on. He also mentioned they are not electricians. However, the only mention of concern in the Service Ticket is a hand written comment "consern! High Voltage is undersized" Whether or not specifics was something communicated to be verbally at the time is not something I can recall as the installation was in 2011. But this brief hand written note is not specific enough to what this issue is especially if it is a real concern. It should have been something specific like "Two existing breakers were replaced with higher voltage 40W breakers on existing incompatible wires and it is recommended to get checked by qualified electrician." I have submitted a application for STR license today and it will be couple days to be approved or denied. If it gets denied because of this issue, then this review is staying up and it is valuable for other customers to learn from. 3/9/15 Review I used Precision A/C to replace my whole unit outside and inside up in the attic back in 10/2011. I also recommended them to my neighbor who I recall has some electrical issues as well. During the installation, two 40AMP breakers had to be installed to support the new Carrier AC/furnace. The reason that I am writing this negative review is because I recently had a home inspection done on my house and was told that there is a code violation of installing 40AMP with the wrong size wires. I recall Precision having some electrical issues during the installation back in 2011 so my assumption is that they were aware of this violation, but never communicated this with me. This is something that I would trust the AC repair experts to take care of instead of having to hire a 3rd party inspector to find out 4 yrs later. read more

When Texas Gas Co. "red tagged" my furnace just as the weatherman was predicting a cold front, I had to get someone out quickly to look into it. I'm not sure why I didn't call the company I'd used before, but I decided to "google" and "citysearch". Precision Heating has tremendously good reviews in both of those places, so I called them. They fixed the original problem very quickly and efficiently. They also inspected my other unit, upstairs and found several issues. I was a bit skeptical, but went up in the attic with them, and they patiently showed me everything that concerned them and explained why. It made a lot of sense. In addition, they spontaneously commented on things they would predict were happening as a result, things that I had noticed, such as one room being significantly colder than the rest. I had asked the previous company to fix this, and the previous company had tried a few things, but that room just stayed cold. Precision Heating & Air worked up an engineering plan and a budget, ordered the parts, came to the house, did the installation, and made everything right, all within three days of my initial call. What they did worked. My upstairs is now one consistent temperature, and the air quality has improved noticeably. I asked them to look at my downstairs unit, which is 14+ years old. My question was, "should we do everything now, since we are doing a big project anyway?" To my surprise, they indicated the downstairs unit is fine and that the would recommend I leave it exactly as it is. Although they presented me with several choices, the unit they recommended for me was not the most expensive unit available, and they discouraged me from a few accessories (such as a humidifier for the dry winter air) that they felt would be problematic in Texas and shorten the life of the unit. I don't think they were the cheapest company, but as far as my amateur eye can tell, they did high quality work, and when given the opportunity to run up the bill and make more money now, they behaved honestly and kept me focused on my true needs. Although I chose this company by reading about them on google and citysearch, I decided to post my review on yelp to balance out some of the others here who seem unhappy. I don't know why their experience was different than mine, but I am pleased. read more

have used them since moving to Georgetown 7 years ago . They put in an entire ac/ heater unit 5 years ago. I always gave them great marks. But apparently they have been bought out by another company. i have a current maintenance plan with them and they have rescheduled by AC check up twice with no explanation. When I asked who I was talking to I was told their call center in Florida. I asked to talk to the local AUstin office I was told they would have to call me back. Of course I did not receive a call back. Before this buy out you would talk directly to a person in the local office. Time for me to find a another AC company. read more

We had our entire AC and furnace system replaced by Precision Heating & Air several years ago. At that time we also asked them to install a damper system so that we can control the second floor temp separately. Their price was quite high, but given the good Yelp reviews I decided to go with Precision anyway. The new unit was super noisy from day one, loud metallic vibration that sounds like something is about to fall apart. There was airflow out of the second floor vents even when the second floor thermostat was off. One side of the house is consistently warmer (colder) than the other side in the summer (winter) so it's very unbalanced. On hot summer days the difference can be as much as 4 degrees. Their techs have come out at least a couple of times, but were never able to fix the noise or the imbalance issue. One tech even mentioned that they don't even sell that damper system anymore because it doesn't work as well. So they basically sold me an obsolete product. The last straw for me was being charged $500+ earlier this year to replace a relay and the capacitor. I knew from previous experience that the price was too high, but I didn't have much of a choice since the heat was pretty unbearable. read more

2 days before Thanksgiving and I wake up to a FREEZING cold house. I tried several other phone numbers on Yelp & no one answered. I sent a request through Yelp & Precision called me back in minutes! They worked with my schedule got a repair quote together and a replacement quote and were really honest about the recommendations. We had to commit fast or we were waiting through the holiday & even with that I didn't feel pressured. They just spent this whole day before Thankgiving replacing & bringing many of the things that have gone out of code back to this decade (century!?) We added the maintenance agreement which means we will see them for regular maintance this coming year twice more but I am sure this relationship is going to be for many years to come. I decided to have Precision Heating and Air come out and check our air conditioning system a few months ago. Nothing was wrong with our system, but I work from home and A/C in Texas in the summer is a necessity. I wanted to make sure it was in tip-top shape. They came out in May, everything looked good with our system, and I carried on with my day. Last week, I noticed that our outside air conditioner would occasionally make a loud grinding noise. Although the fan was still running, the system would blow warm air for about 30 minutes at a time. Not good! I called Precision on Monday and they promptly came out to look at the system. The capacitor wasn't functioning properly (it was probably tired from running all day every day for two months). They replaced it and did something very complicated with the system in our attic, and now our A/C is good as new. I'm a huge fan of Precision Heating and Air. In a bind from my tenant saying the ac was running hot, after calling precision they did come the following day, only to replace a compressor that come to find out only can be bought for $100, so charged $99 for a service call that was told to us when we booked would be covered under work or if we decided not to do anything the total of the call would be $99, but we were charged $99 for the call and $450 for a $100 part that we could have done ourselves but as i said wanting to get my tenants ac unit running as fast as i could for her i did not do my homework when it came to this company, i would never use them nor recommend them to anyone, definitely unfair prices. read more

I had the absolute worst experience with the company this weekend. I had 4 guest staying with me over the weekend and as luck would have it my AC went out. I was desperate for a quick repair. I called precision , as I saw decent reviews here. I was connected with Ryan, the service repair guy who claimed they had no further appointments that night. Fine. Ryan showed up in the morning (on time). I tell him that I heard a loud sound from my outdoor unit, and that I thought it was the motor. He quickly removed the side panel and replaced the contact and the start kit. He then spent the rest of the time trying to sell me a new system. Precision H&A charged me over $500 for the contact and start kit , which I looked up later and you can basically get these parts for under $100. He then slapped me with a service agreement/maintenance package for another $150. He did not explain that this was an optional service. I ended up spending $800 for the service. He was there less than an hr. 4 hours later, my unit goes out completely. Long story short, it was the motor. I called Precision, they quoted me another $700 plus another service fee. I had a local neighborhood guy replace the entire motor, and he charged me $400 for parts and labor. He said I probably didn't need the contact/start kit. It was clearly the motor from the get go. Update : After voicing my concerns with Precision, I got a very quick response from the manager. We had a very productive conversation. He definitely helped to clarify some things. I was able to get a refund for the maintenance package and service fee. I really appreciate they rapid response and effort to make things right. This goes a long way. John (project manager) and Jacob (technitian/engineer) from Precision Heating and Air came out to our house today to investigate a new noise that our AC unit was making. These guys were absolutely amazing. The AC was, unhelpfully, NOT making the noise when they arrived. But the guys listened to our description, and immediately came up with a list of possibilities to investigate. They then spent the next 1.5 hr systematically inspecting all of the moving parts in both the blower and the condenser. On top of that, they explained every item they looked at, told us what they were looking for and why, and told us what they saw and what their findings meant with respect to the noise as well as with respect to the overall health of our system. They wore shoe covers in the house and masks, they were obviously knowledgeable, and they were INCREDIBLY kind and personable. They found that one of the motors was starting to go, and gave us several potential ways to handle it. They were candid in their assessments and did not push us into any specific or expensive solutions, just laid out the options. We had several questions for them in regards to potential repairs, and they stayed and answered all of them patiently. We had already been discussing replacing our AC unit (it's 10 years old), and based off our interactions with this company we will absolutely be going with them. I highly recommend this company, and specifically John and Jacob, who were just a joy to work with. read more

I've been doing business with another prominent HVAC company in Austin for about 15 years. They recently came out to do my heater maintenance and when they finished, they told me I needed new ductwork. Salesman quoted me for a new unit and ductwork to the tune of $16k. I called Precision Heating and Air at the recommendation of a friend. Tim Britt came out to give me a quote. As we were looking at the ductwork, he told me he wasn't even going to give me a quote because I didn't need anything. I was so pleased with his honesty that I called his boss to let him know and now I know who I'll be doing HVAC business with Precision from here on out. Fast and efficient service! Its Sunday and I turned on my heat for the first time this year. "klunk" the heater wouldn't start. On a friend's advice I called Precision Heating and Air. Within 15 minutes a technician called me and another 30 he came out and fixed my furnace. Luckily it was just some debris that had fallen. The technician was courteous, explained what he was doing and stuck around to make sure everything was working properly. read more
