My LG refrigerator died 30 days after the 1-year anniversary of purchase (but LESS THAN a year after delivery! WTF?). Called LG service, and LG created a work order and told me Precision Television would call the next day to schedule an appointment. They didn't. Or the next. Finally called them (40 minute wait on phone). Precision Television (oxymoron?) told me that the work order didn't mean anything was getting done; it was just sent to them by LG. They want payment just to make an appointment. More $ on inspection, and it would be days out. Thanksgiving is next week. No thanks. Update: I paid another LG authorized repair shop to come out and diagnose my refrigerator, since it took Pacific Television 3 days just to call back to schedule. 15 minutes later he confirmed the COMPRESSOR (10 year warranty on a part that costs more to install than buy) is dead. THERE ARE NONE in THE USA with a 2 to 4 week wait. Parts are in KOREA or MEXICO. It'll be 30 days before I get this running again. Update 11/17/16: After a cumulative 7 hours on the phone, over four days, I have finally seen a ray of sunshine. I was able to speak to a lovely lady in LG's 'executive department' that got everything squared away. She found a secret stash of compressor stock in Huntsville, and told me if the repair center requested it be expedited, it would be overnighted. Woohoo! Don't waste calling LG support in India at 800-243-0000... Call the headquarters, in Huntsville, AL, at 243-772-8860. Then go to their website and find a FACTORY AUTHORIZED service center NEAR YOU, avoiding Pacific Television. It will cut DAYS off your repair cycle. FINAL UPDATE: So these guys finally call me on Friday, 5 days after work order was sent to them by LG, to find out what kind of appliance I have that has failed, and to schedule an appointment to look at it. I already had the compressor being overnighted from LG, and it arrived Friday night. I used my local repair guy (on LG's site), and he came out SATURDAY MORNING, and had me running by 11AM! Next appointment, March 5 was also,canceled on same day. Reschedule is March 10th....I'm skeptical. You might want to know this when choosing them as a provider. Like most of the post on here, I don't usually complain about services I use. I actually decided to sign up with Yelp in order to file a complaint about Precision Services. I have never been so disappointed with the customer service and performance of a service company. They are clearly the worse company I have ever dealt with in terms of competency. I will outline my interactions with this organization: Friday, 9/25/15 - The picture on my Plasma TV goes black. I have the Premier Package with Direct TV so I contact them to see if we can get an assessment on what is wrong with the TV. After trying to fix the problem without success, Direct TV refers me to a third party vendor, Precision Services. I am told that they will call me Monday between 8 am and 12 noon to schedule an appointment to assess the problem with my TV. Monday, 9/28/2015 - No call. I contact Direct TV and ask and am given the contact information for Precision Services. I call them and am told that there has been a internal miscommunication. I am rescheduled for Wednesday between 8 am and 12 noon. Wednesday, 9/30/2015 - No call. I contact them again. After being placed on hold I am told that a tech will be out on Friday to assess the problem with my TV. Friday, 10/2/2015 - Tech arrives and states that he cannot remove the TV from the mounting bracket on the wall per company policy. I remove the TV from the wall. Tech does assessment and says that one of the internal components needs to be replaced. He will submit an invoice to Precision Services to forward to Direct TV for approval. In fairness the Tech was competent and professional. Monday, 10/5/2105 - Based on Precision's previous poor performance, I call to verify that they have received the invoice from the Tech and that it has been submitted to Direct TV. I am told that they will check and call me back. No Call. Tuesday, 10/6/2015 - Call Precision Services and am told that the invoice has been submitted to Direct TV for approval. Call Direct TV and am told that the have not received an invoice from Precision. Wednesday, 10/7/2015 - Direct TV calls and says that they have received the invoice. Call Precision Services and am told the part has been ordered and that I will receive a call when the part comes in. Friday, 10/9/2015 - Call Precision Services to see if the part has come in. I am told that they had the part, but they shipped it back to the supplier. They state that they have 2 invoices for me and that one of them stated that I did not need the part any longer. So they shipped it back. I receive a text from Direct TV stating that my repairs are complete and asking if they have been completed to my satisfaction. Unbelievable!!! Monday, 10/12/2015 - Call Precision Services to see if they have reordered the part. They say they have and that they will contact me when it arrives to set an appointment. Tuesday. 10/13/2015 - Call Precision Services. Still no part and still no appointment scheduled to fix my TV. There you have it. The most incompetent service company I have ever dealt with and am still dealing with. This Friday will be 3 weeks since my TV went out. If you are ever referred to Precision Service in Concord, CA run away as fast as you can. Direct TV also shares some of the blame here. My advise is to skip the $20 a month Premier Package. Its great that they repair your TVs with a $50 deductible and will replace it if it can't be fixed, but the hassle factor is just not worth it. read more

Terrible all the way around. My GE dryer was taking way to long to dry. Called GE directly and this is who they scheduled. Tech had no idea what he was doing, he was on the phone with a colleague walking him through for 80 % of the time he was here, ended up breaking the dryer completely. No way to contact them until the next business day. Will never use them or GE again. read more

My refrigerator needed repairs. The 3rd party warranty company that administers my extended warranty (Warrantech) assigned this repair to Precision TV. I was impressed with their use of SMS messages to update me on the status of my work order, and to confirm the appointments, etc. They even sent instructions with JPG images to my phone the day before my scheduled appointment to remind me to prep the refrigerator for them. The SMS messages included my claim#, and the number to call if I had any issues or questions - very cool! My first visit was from Shawn, on 6/28/17. He defrosted the refrigerator and determined that replacement parts were needed, and ordered them. He seemed quite competent and was a pleasure to work with. On 7/10/17, Michael came out and completed the installation of the replacement parts. Just like Shawn, he was friendly and efficient. It's always frustrating to deal with major appliances that are having issues or need repair, but these two technicians were calm and reassuring about getting the problem solved, and couldn't have been more pleasant to deal with. read more

I'm updating my review because I was surprised to see that I received an e-mail from the VP of Precision TV last week. He was extremely professional and would like to understand what happened with my television and see if there's a chance for him to rectify this situation from ever occurring again. 1 of the parts was still on back-order so my insurance provider finally decided to give me the option of getting a new television or getting a check. I had requested an afternoon appointment due to working mornings, the day before I get a message my appointment is scheduled for the morning. I called was on hold for 30 minutes only to be told by Rosie that for my area they only have morning appointments. I explained to Rosie I had requested an afternoon appointment due to my work schedule and I could not request days off and have kids. She proceeds to inform me anyone over 18 can be present for appointment and "I must know of someone". Not only was her demeanor uncalled for and unprofessional but she was also very rude from the beginningof our conversation. Thankfully I was able to request another company to service my appliance. LG assigned Precision to fix a cooling problem with our fridge. They took a week to call back, then based on the superficial description of the problem I gave, declared it needed a complete cooling system replacement. After taking a week to (supposedly) obtain these parts, they finally sent a technician out. His sole action was to remove ice from the coils in the freezer section, taking several hours to do so while spending a great deal of time on the phone to what sounded like their office. No hardware work at all was done. After this "service", the freezer did return to cooling - for about 4 days, before the coils iced up again. Now turning to the landlord's home warranty, which has hooked me up with a different company. Deeply unimpressed, would never voluntarily do business with this company. read more

I am a person with a disability who uses a wheelchair for mobility. I purchased a 50 inch TV from COSTCO and purchased a wall mounting system as well as a Square Trade 5 year warranty for the TV. Well, my TV's "Smart" system has failed so I contacted Square Trade. They approved the repair and told me that Precision TV would be the repair service and that company would contact me. Precision TV called and said that their repair person would call me that evening with the 2 hour window they would be arriving the next day and then said that the TV would be required to be removed from the wall since they don't have insurance to cover that work. I informed them that I couldn't remove the TV and had no one else available to remove it from the wall. The person then said that they wouldn't be able to do the repair service call. I contacted COSTCO and was told they would contact Square Trade and see what they could do to have the problem resolved. I just heard from the Manager from Precision TV. They will not work on the TV until it is off the wall! I would strongly suggest that if you are considering purchasing a TV from COSTCO, you find out if there is any other option for a long-term warranty than Square Trade and their sub-contractor, Precision TV. read more

The technician came out Broke the replacement part that he was here to fix instead of being honest he jimmy rigged the part to hold until I opened my unit so I called in to explain with pictures and was told they had the pictures already in the file and Sears is ordering parts remind you my unit did not come from Sears I had to yell for the old woman On the other side of the phone to get it straight and look into my correct account I also spoke to someone who seems to have been her via text telling me " I am the manager" when asked to talk to her supervisor needless to say nothing was resolved she hung up on me and told me to call warranty. This is very bad business and I hope Home Depot does not seen this type of incompetency out to fix my unit again! If you are referred to this company by Lowe's for warranty work, do yourself a favor and request another company! First, they do not honor the appointment times set by Lowe's and immediately reschedule. They primarily communicate via short abrupt text messages and completely lack courtesy and customer service. They rescheduled me for 2 days past the day that Lowe's scheduled, and then NO SHOWED the appointment they set. After our appointment time was missed, they did not respond to calls or texts trying to find out if someone was going to show up. My range was making a clicking noise. GE sent these guys out to fix my stove. They came out multiple times. First time, the tech took a screw and twist some knobs. It worked fine while he was here and then problem arise after he left. They sent someone else out again. Guy said he had to order parts. Parts took months to come in. Guy came back with parts. Now says he need another person on the job to fix it. We had to make another appointment and take more time off of work. The next appointment, the tech never showed up and they called me hours after my 3 hour windows saying the tech couldn't make it because he was falling behind. Waited hours before they called! The next appointment, I was15 minutes late dropping off my kids at school. I had sent a text telling them I was going to be late. Came back and they said they had to move onto another job. I called and asked if they really expected to fix my range in 15 minutes if they left after 15 minutes. Manager refused to accept my frustration over their tech's lack of knowledge and the fact that they had to come multiple times, even no showing the last time. They try to place the blame on us, saying we should have been home. Where was your tech the other week? Why is it okay for him to no show but I'm 15 minutes late and you disappear? They then sent me a text reminder telling me I had to make another appointment for them to come out. I waited 3 days to do it because it was right after thanksgiving but I was unable to schedule. I had the opportunity of using this repair shop when my Samsung under Best Buy warranty kept losing power. I paid for nothing for their service as it was covered by my four year $199 purchase protection plan. I've had over five visits from various reps over the last 6 years and my experiences have been as follows: Always on time, courteous and respectful of property, The one thing I love about this repair shop is that they have had the parts I needed on hand. (The power supply, burnt bulbs) Fyi: I always call to confirm part order/delivery and appointment times due to bad experiences with other repair shops. Poor Diagnosis and Dishwasher Repair Dissatisfaction: We were required by a major extended warranty company to use Precision to diagnose the source of a leaking water inlet value on our top-of-the-line, 6-year old GE dishwasher. Prior to the scheduled visit by Precision, we received countless texts asking for pictures, diagrams, explanations. Some were robot-type texts; others were a 'real human'. That communication was one-way but OK overall. Now for the problem: Precision diagnosed the problem as a leaking inlet valve; I agree. This was the root cause. They ordered the wrong part, a front cover, from their tablet program at the visit. A week went by. I asked for status and was told to contact the warranty company. The warranty company said there as wrong part issue. Then a day later a new repair order was started with many more robot-texts. Then, the RO was cancelled with no explanation. We asked why, receiving: '...call the warranty company....'. The warranty company said the diagnosis was changed to: "...a plumbing problem...'. Neither company reached out to me. I had to do all the follow up. Grrrr. I call the Warranty company and expressed my displeasure, demanding a 'real' tech (not a robot). They agreed (smile). A real GE tech came, confirming the valve problem; he had the part in his truck. Problem fixed in 30 minutes. It took 5 weeks from start to finish to get the repair. Our Philips tv went out exactly 1 year after purchase. Luckily we had purchased an extended warranty. I called the warranty company and quickly received a response from Precision. I was told to set up an appointment which is what I did. The technician arrived on time and indicated it needed a new part, called in the replacement part to the company and left. That was nearly 3 weeks ago. I called today and as expected they are closed. I responded to their original text msg indicating it should NOT take nearly a month to fix a tv! Sad, because my first review was good. Like a few others I was skeptical after reading the YELP reviews but the warranty company assured me they would be fine. The gentleman came out, was polite, friendly and cared. The cooktop needed a new part which he showed me, said he would order it and it should be there is about a week. Long story short, we waited for over a month, trying to be patient just because of this technician. It is very hard to get a hold of these people and when I finally did I was told, "We are not going to finish the job". When asked why, they said we can't tell you, you have to talk to your warranty company, who by the way is impossible to get through to also. Under my Costco warranty, Precision was sent to fix the extended fan that's connected under my microwave. The technician showed up and was very nice. I could tell he was struggling to get the new part attached but when he finished it looked fine. When I tried pushing on it to have it extend forward, it didn't sound right; very loud/clunky. I mentioned it and he said the bearings were wearing in. When I questioned that, he said it was because of the parts that move and that was normal. He would not listen. After he left I noticed 2 of the 4 grease filters underneath were missing. I called right away and he said he didn't have them. I asked if I could get back the old ones he took away as they are washable. He said there were none. Really?! I had 4 of them on the previous part and had just looked at them that morning. He insisted there were none. He outright lied to me on the phone. The next day I noticed that if the fan is extended out and I open the microwave door, it hits the extended fan piece and nearly takes it off! I called the office and was told the manager was on vacation and would call me within a few days. It's been a week. I've called multiple times and it goes straight to VM. I texted the number on their VM twice and had no response. Be aware if a warranty company says they're sending Precision to make repairs. Request someone else!! Do not call them for repairs either!! Now I will be calling the warranty company and reporting this and hopefully they will send out someone else to repair the repair. read more

I am very happy with the level of service and the quality of my television repair. I had a LG 55in television that kept turning off and on by itself and would not connect to wifi. Precision Television scheduled an appointment for a technician to come out to my house to conduct the repair. The technician, Andy, was very knowledgeable and courteous. The entire repair process took less than thirty minutes and my television works perfectly. I would trust them to repair my other televisions if they ever (knock on wood) need repairs. read more

After having problems turning on my 40" Samsung HDTV, I did a quick online search which revealed a problem with one of the parts of the TV, resulting in problems with getting the TV to turn on. NEXT - A 5-minute call to Samsung - and they got me connected with Precision TV repair. Within an hour of my phone call to Samsung, I had received an email from Precision to come and make the repairs at my house, free of charge. Due to my hectic schedule, I had to cancel and reschedule the service 3 times. And Precision could not have been any more accommodating. From Richard in the office sending me emails, to Sean calling me and making sure our schedule would work. They were great. Sean was right on time, and it took him less than 15 minutes to make the repairs, free of charge. read more

My Samsung LCD had a light ring while under warranty so Samsung told me that PT would be the ones who would handle the repair. They set-up the appointment for the following Friday. The day comes and the tech was suppose to be here between 9:30am-11:30am but after a couple of set backs did not get to my house until after 4pm. While the TV was repaired I was highly upset since I had to wait around longer than I was told or planned. However, after I emailed management I got a fast response from Darnell and Chris who went out of their way to immediately try to rectify the issue. This wasn't some lame apology we get sometimes from a company that we complain to but a REAL apology where you could tell they were not happy of my situation and held their staff accountable. I was contacted again to apologize as well as them even giving me a $25 gift card to say sorry which exceeded my expectations. Overall, the tech did a good job when he got here and customer service did try to understand my situation. Yes I was inconvenienced and sure they have some kinks to work out however the true testament of a company is how they deal with resolution to issues when they arise and by far they went beyond what many companies would have done and seem serious about working to improve service. I'm hoping my TV doesn't go down again however if it does I now have confidence that Precision will get the job done right. read more

My dryer repair has been nothing short of a disaster, between dealing with the same Samsung dryer part failing twice in less than 18 months, the Home Depot service department not telling the repair company what the problem was and promising dates that weren't available. The dispatch department giving me dates that were weeks into the future...HOWEVER... these two dedicated technicians diagnosed the problem immediately, ordered the part and moved appointments around to get my dryer back in working order!! Ricky Pagan and Shawn Coffelt are both hard working guys who understand that customers need their appliances in working order! I would have to first criticize Best Buy for affiliating themselves with Precision TV. Morons! Just a side note, they're offices are actually located in Concord, CA. I've had the same guy come to my house three times now and I don't like his service. First time, he left me a voice mail telling me he had a dentist appointment and he would be late. He was actually two hours late. He shows up, he switched the speakers which I had requested because they were sounding like shit. But, he also switched the main-board which to me, was a bit suspicious because I was never informed about them ordering that part as well. I might be a bit paranoid, but I believe he got my main-board for his benefit and switched it with a cheaper one. That's just what I think. Second visit a few weeks later, he had to come gain because the speakers were actually sounding worse than before. So, once again, he ordered two new speakers and a main-board and switched them. This time, the sound was coming out good. Third time, last week, I had to call up Precision TV because my my TV wont turn off at times. In other words, every time I push the off button, the screen will turn black for a second and turn on again. At times, randomly, it will turn on by itself. I called up Precision TV and the same guy came over and hes planning on ordering another main-board. Why? The TV is falling part. When will I be able to watch a movie or TV without any disruptions by this old nonfunctional television? When will this Precision TV employee do a better job by actually fixing my TV? read more

This is a one star and we have not even had the repair. The phone people were polite until I got a 'back-at-you' text message from the very young man I last spoke with from precisiontv. See end of this post for that text msg. We were 'assigned' this repair provider thru our appliance warranty by Ferguson Plumbing True Blue New Leaf. I think Precisiontv is just a repairman phone center:( Something is not right. A true appliance repair business is available all week not just one day a week. Who would I call for more immediate repair needs???!!!! When we made the appointment with the Precisiontv person, she was emphatic that Tuesday was the only day of the week the repair technician would be in our area. I had asked for Wednesday. So we agreed to Tuesday 7/17 11-2pm. This meant I would need to clear appointments off my calendar for Tuesday to accomodate the repair technician. Tuesday is a busy day for me. But I do need my washing machine repaired. On 7/12 I tried calling precisiontv to change the appointment. The phone wait times were 5 minutes and 20 minutes. So, I sent precisiontv a text message to their sms stream on my phone requesting the appointment be changed to Wednesday. I did not receive any response. So I determined the appointment was still for 7/17. I called precisiontv twice today (7/17) to double check if I still had an appointment because I never got a confirm to my text change request nor did I get a call on 7/16 as promised. I had to arranged a call back due to very long waits. Finally a live person called me back to say my appointment was for Wednesday 7/18. I told him the original appointment phone person had been emphatic that Tuesday is the only day a technician comes to Lodi. I had rescheduled my other appointments that were for today. Then today's phone person said well how about today 2-6pm. Unbelievable. If I had a 2-6pm originally then I would not have had to cancel my morning appointments for today. At this point I do not want precisiontv in my home because I do not trust them and don't like their treatment of me the customer. I told the phone person I'll call True Blue New Leaf to request a different service provider. I said I'm adding a negative Yelp review along with the other negative reviews. I would not be so frosted if precisiontv had more than one day a week available, if the first person had not lied to begin with by saying "only Tuesday", if their telephone wait times weren't 5-20 minutes, and if they would respond to my text on their initiated text stream. Then maybe we would have gotten to the point where a repair technician might have had a chance to confirm or clear this poor track record. I do need to update that I just got a text from the very young man I spoke with today at precisiontv. "Per your request on 7/13/2018 at 12:54pm you requested that we put you on the schedule for the 18th. I will be uploading this SMS chain to your warranty company for their records" So precisiontv did get my text request just never bothered to respond with a confirmation. This very young man has sent me this text confirmation AFTER our phone conversation. Unbelievable. What a snake. It will be good for this very young man the to upload the sms text chain to Ferguson True Blue New Leaf to confirm precisiontv's untruthfulness to its customers. read more

I had a plasma TV that started having issues. I bought the TV from amazon, and purchased the extended warranty from square trade. After talking to square trade, they decided to send a technician out to look at the TV. I got a call from precision TV, and they scheduled a guy to come out and take a look. I was called that evening from their technician, Brent, stating he'd arrive the next day. Brent arrived exactly on time, took a look at the TV, and called square trade to inform them that the TV had some serious issues. Later that evening I received an email from Square trade informing me that my issue was not covered by the warranty. I called Brent from precision TV, he then called square trade, and voila, square trade covered my warranty and sent the new part. Square trade was trying to get out of fixing the TV, as the part was over 1000 bucks. Yesterday Brent arrived again early, spent a couple hours here, fixed my TV, and was on his way. Precision TV made this entire thing so easy. Brent going to bat for me with square trade saved me from having to buy a new TV. Brent went above and beyond what is required of him. I cant say enough how professional he was. I am totally pleased with the service I received from Precision TV. Totally smooth, always professional, never an issue. Thank you! Id recommend this company to anyone needing service, or warranty work. I'm not sure what issues the one star rating people are having with this company. I felt their level of customer service was as good as you can get. All in all, from the initial call to my TV being fixed, including shipping of a new panel from LG, 7 days total. Amazon sent me the wrong one and I had to fight with their 3rd company 2 months to get my money back. I called Samsung back who were the one's who originally gave me Precision's phone number and made a complaint with them. They sent me to J&J parts who orders Samsung parts. I ordered a Powerboard from them paying $145.00. I received it a month later. This whole Fiasco started in March of 2017 and ended in September of 2017. 6 months of no TV... But to top it off when I received the part from J&J the part didn't work either. I ended up taking the part and the TV myself to an electronic store in San Bruno California. The gentlemen tested the power board J&J sent me and said it didn't work. He then proceeded to check my old Power Board which worked just fine. He tested the motherboard which was the problem the whole time. When I called and emailed precision they gave me the run-around and decided after telling me if they didn't find anything I signed I would get my money back, which I knew I hadn't signed anything I never received my $150 back. He the manager owner of the company decided that waiting 6 months to notify them was too long to give me back my money. I explained to him I had moved and had to deal with other companies to get my money back Which took time. I also explained to him it was his employees fault from day one for not checking the motherboard and insisting it was my power board when it was never the power board. So to this day I am out $150.00 for their mistake. I would never recommend anyone to deal with this company as far as I can see there is too many one Stars and it happens to a lot of people. My experience with this company is they were out for the $150.00 and their employee didn't have to do anything except drive to my house. They wouldn't even get a one-star if that was an option. My 10 year old Kitchen Aid refrigerator was not defrosting and Dave was able to diagnose the problem and fix the issue (a clogged drain line) in a record period of time. Courteous, competent service and a nice person. He made sure to wear a mask and gloves in compliance with covid guidelines. read more

They were contracted through my Electrolux extended warranty to fix our stove. Came to the house twice to attempt to fix it during a pandemic and couldn't get the job done. They declined to work on it further with no explanation. Now we are starting from ground zero having a new company come into the house during a pandemic. **** Final update!! **** So, I called LG and they said they will have Precision come out to see my fridge again. What?!?! Didn't I just do that whole spiel a couple days ago? I was like forget that, what are my other options? LG rep says they can send a certified LG tech out but it will not be until Monday which is 4 days away. I said that works for me, it can't be any worse than Precision and might even get quicker and better service. Who knows how much longer before Precision would be able to schedule an appointment anyways. So, Monday comes and the LG tech comes in and pokes around a bit and sees that the Precision tech installed the replacement part WRONG!!! That guy put the part in backwards, how the hell do you do that?!?! So, my original review giving that tech props is rescinded!! The LG tech installs the part properly and tells me its the compressor which has a 10 year warranty on it, a fact the other tech failed to mentioned as well. It has been a couple days and the fridge is working good!! Long story short, stay away from this terrible company. To make matters worse, I could have went with the LG certified tech option 5 weeks ago when the fridge first broke down, but I was seduced by the promise of a earlier appointment time with Precision. Precision Services provides the most unreliable and incompetent technicians on the planet. My dog would be a better technician than the clowns that this company sends out. I purchased a KitchenAid frig and bought and extended warranty through WarranTech. WarranTech subs out the service to Precision Services. I filed a claim about 8 months ago. The first two technicians came out and misdiagnosed the problem and provided repairs that did nothing to fix the problem. I even told them that their repairs were not going to work because the problem was related to the temperature control unit inside the door. They finally concluded that I needed an entirely new frig door. Some idiot technician installed the door yesterday. I went down to my family room this morning which is underneath the frig and saw water dripping out of a light fixture. The water was coming from the water supply to the frig and the frig still does not work, which I am assuming is due to the fact that the water supply is not hooked up correctly. I can't believe that the technician didn't check his work to make sure that the frig was working before he left yesterday. All I can say is that Precision Services is absolutely without a doubt the worst service company that I have ever worked with. If you have a choice, never ever use this company for anything. I can't believe that they are even in business. They are sending out someone right now after I threatened to sue them for causing damage to my flooring and sheet rock. read more

I was a bit nervous about using this company after looking at various reviews. However, people are more willing to post a negative experience rather than a positive experience. My LCD HD TV died after the manufacturer one year warranty, but was still covered under the Costco extended warranty. Costco uses Precision Television in the Bay Area for their warranty work. PTV called on a Wednesday to say they were ordering the parts, but the parts wouldn't be in until the following Tuesday. The parts came in early and I got a call on Friday saying they could repair the unit on Saturday. The technician called to say he would be at my house between Noon and 3 pm. He arrived at about 1:15, swapped out a couple of boards and fixed the problem. The technician, Tex, was very professional, knew what he was doing, and was very polite. They lie and have terrible customer service from the person answering the phone, to the technician & up to the manager. 3 different parts & different service calls & couldn't fix my washing machine. They said if they had more time they might've been able to figure it out but "I didn't want the technician in my house any longer because of the corona virus". That's total BS. I even texted to confirm they were still coming to install the new part today despite the self quarantine going on and thanked them for still coming since I haven't been able to use my machine since the end of December. Now Lowe's is saying I might not get a replacement machine because I "didn't allow" the technician to stay in my house The technician, David, told me "only Samsung & God know what's wrong with your machine" and that I'll likely be his last service call due to the virus outbreak. How does that translate into me kicking him out? I don't like liars. I can honestly say the only good part of the company was Luis. He was very thorough & honest. read more
