Pay attention to the reviews!! The service IS absolutely horrible. I was to have a service appointment from 1 to 5 PM. Precision Services texted a 10 hour window instead of the 4 hour window and didn't even show! They didn't even bother to call and provide a new window, though 10 hours is out of the question. What's more, they obviously have delivered poor service in the television space which might explain why they are not servicing appliances and performing terribly. ALSO, this company is a 3rd party provider for SEARS and other home warranty companies. If this is the way they are operating, you don't need a home warranty. Just go out and purchase what you need, when you needed. A tremendous waste of money! Check the toilet for their service profile. Precision TV was great for me. They are the company that does the warranty work for Panasonic TV's sold from video only in my area. On Friday the previous week, I called them up and made an appointment for the following Thursday in the pm hours (12pm-5pm). I was told the night before that someone would be calling me about my appointment the next day. Sure enough, Luis called and let me know he would be here between 11-am-1pm. He arrived at 11am sharp and quickly got to work. He took some pictures, ran some tests, made some phone calls to the office and Panasonic, received the part number for the item to be replaced, filled out the authorization form, and submitted it to the warranty company for authorization. He said if the repair is too high, their work is done and the insurance company will contact me. If the warranty company wants to do the repair, they will authorize Precision TV to come back out and fix. Luis was professional and fast. He was done with this job by 11:35am. I would recommend them highly. read more

LG scheduled them to come out for a warranty repair on a new washing machine. I had to schedule about a week out so I could find a 4-hour window when I was available. The afternoon of the day before the appointment I got a text that they would arrive between 8am and noon. I replied that I had scheduled an afternoon appointment and would not be home in the morning. I was told that I'd need to reschedule. WHAT??!! They expect you to set aside an entire day at home so they can come to your home at THEIR convenience. I called LG and lodged a complaint and had them schedule an appointment with a different service company. This was a real first for me and I definitely hope that it was the last. I certainly will have no further dealings with this company. read more

Our washing machine door became locked, and wouldn't re-open. The cost of repair with Precision Television was outrageous. Cost about $200 to come to my home to confirm we needed a new piece, and then more than $350 to install the new piece once it came in. The repair person told me that the installment visit would be discounted, considering the first visit was just a 5-10 diagnosis. Turns out, that was wrong. In total, I paid $550 to replace a small mechanical part. I could have purchased a new machine. Plus, the repair person miscommunicated with the office person who orders parts, so the whole process took three weeks. They're not proactive about communicating the status of your repair, so on top of expensive service, you also have to babysit them. read more

I was very worried when I checked out the reviews of this company after LG assigned them to fix my fridge under warranty. I had a mixed experience but the repair itself went smoothly, eventually. The appointment system shared by LG an precision is unacceptable. When I contact LG, they tell me that the inspector from Precision can come the next day, which is why I accepted Precision as the repair contractor. But you immediately get a text message from Precision saying ignore whatever you were told and to login to make a new appointment, which can be far in the future. Precision says that LG "lies" about available appointments but apparently the problem lies in poor communication between the two. I consider myself to be mutually lied to by both companies. Anyway, they use this text message system to communicate appointments and other information and you are instructed to use that for queries. But most messages I left were never answered. I was able to dig up their phone number and get the information I needed, though. Their customer rep was friendly and patient, and accurately explained the excruciatingly slow process I was about to go through. The overall wait for service was very bad. I had to wait 10 days for an inspector, 6 days for the parts needed to arrive during which I was not allowed to make an appointment for repair. Then I had to wait almost 2 weeks for a repair appointment. Both the inspector and the repairman told me that the backlog for repairs was around 40 fridges with the identical problem. Given so many I can't see why they don't maintain a stock of compressors, heat exchangers etc to reduce the delay. But they also do not have enough qualified repair techs--only 2. My repairman told me he does three of these repairs a day. This seems pretty consistent with the wait for service I had, so them having the parts available probably wouldn't have helped. Aside from the long overall delay, I was reasonably happy with the service. The company rep I spoke to on the phone a couple times was patient, polite, and helpful. The inspector and repairman were knowledgeable and very friendly. They both came in the appointed time windows and called ahead to confirm we were there. I cannot be at all happy with LG, who sell a product they know to be defective (fridges sold with 10 year warranty that last only 3 years) or Best Buy who sold me an extended warranty. LG has settled a class action lawsuit in 2014 but continued to sell the same defective product to this day and are facing a second class action. They do not have enough contractors that are qualified to repair their product, so the overall wait will probably be very long no matter who repairs the product. When I went to LGs website at the outset, they said my fridge was out of warranty and so I went to my dealer (Best Buy) from whom I had purchased an extended warranty. Best Buy spent 2 weeks with me (I have to wait for an inspector, then they scheduled a company to come who are not authorized to repair the product) before they finally said they would not fix it and LG had to do so. This 2-week delay was on top of the over 4 week wait I had once LG agreed to do the repair. I count myself lucky, if you check out the discussion forums at Best Buy you'll find people in a similar situation who took 2-6 months to get satisfaction. I think the whole appliance thing is a racket. Although there are many brands, they have been mostly bought out by a couple companies, who now having a monopoly are charging high prices while reducing product lifetime through planned obsolescence of the parts. Vendors are in on it, they sell you these extended warranties but take a ridiculous time to fulfill their obligations. I think they are throttling back available service to pressure you into giving up and buying a new fridge. It's better to buy the cheapest simplest fridge you can, or else buy two and keep a spare in your garage in case the first one breaks. Then at least you can patiently get the one repaired and not have to deal with 5 weeks having no refrigerator. If my fridge breaks again while still under warranty I am going to move it to my garage and get a new fridge while I wait for the old one to be fixed. read more

My Samsung TV has a broken LCD. So Samsung referred me to this place because they are an authorized repair center for Samsung. I first went to their site to try to find their email address. Well, they don't seem to publish one. But they do have a web form you can use to contact them. The problem is, the 'submit' button is broken. You cannot actually send a message to them using their website. I tried two different browsers. No deal. Then I called and left a voicemail at their "out of warranty sales" option on the phone tree. Never got a call back even after several days. I called again and got the operator. He couldn't help me but wanted to get my name/number so someone could call me back. I said "Can you at least tell the store's email address?" and he said he could not. WTF? Really? So then a woman called me back and I simply wanted to know how much it would cost to replace the LCD panel, as two other local places took one look at the photo I sent them and said "Yeah this would cost more than the price of the TV", but I wanted to hear it from an authorized repair place first. She said "We don't do it that way. We have to come on site to diagnose. That would be $150 charge" and I guarantee you they would come out take one look at the TV and say "Yep, repairing would be more than the price of a new one" and then I'd be out $150 for absolutely nothing. NEVER USE THIS POS COMPANY This company is the worst I have every done business with. First they send a guy out who diagnosed my LG Frig and he never even opened my frig and said I need a motherboard to fix my icemaker (and that cost me 150.00) I order the part and set an appointment for the next guy to come.. He shows up does not have motherboard and tells me I need a new door. WTF another day missed at work.. So I order the door and set up 3rd appointment.. Door is in and the tech said will this door work for you? Are you kidding you cant see the door is dented? Tech no we don't check these things we just load them on truck.. Well send that crap back because I don't want it. I get a call from Javier and he said well we can order you another door but its going to cost you more money. At this point I have had it with this company they are trying to just get more money out of me. Well I did no research and was able to fix my icemaker on my own.. just need to turn up the temp as the line was freezing. I called this POS company and told them all my complaints and they don't give a crap they have their 150.00 and said its non refundable. Horrible customer service do not ever use this company. What's the point of making one if you're just going to change it to YOUR convenience. 6 different techs sending texts and no one taking care of business. They Changed my appointment at the last minute. " we will text you the day before for a time frame". Customer service is about your customers convenience not yours. Can't talk to a human unless your willing to wait for a half an hour or more on the phone. Only to deal with someone who really doesn't care. I should have balked when Precision TV(?!) was chosen to perform the repair on my washing machine, but lesson learned! They badly misdiagnosed the issue with our washing machine, and they way they do business leaves a lot to be desired. After purchasing premium repair service through LG, I was told that Precision TV would come out the following Monday, and was given a 4 hour (morning) time window for their appointment. That Monday came and I received a message (which I was lucky enough to notice before skipping work that morning) that NO, I didn't really have an appointment with them, and the time window I had been given was a fake / decoy. I had to call to make a request to their office to even set up the appointment, which wasn't able to be scheduled for 4 more days. So finally, their repairman came out to diagnose what was causing the "LE" error code on my 8-year-old LG front-load washer, and after taking a thorough look at it, they concluded that the motor must be bad. They had to order a new one, which took over a week, then they called and I was able to make an appointment a few days out. So about 2 weeks after the 1st appointment, they came back out to install the motor. The technician did the work, showed my wife that the drum was spinning (which it had actually already been doing intermittently, before -- it would spin for a while until the error code popped up). He declared it "fixed," made her sign the form, and went off on his merry way. A brief moment after starting a small load of laundry the drum stopped spinning and the same dreaded "LE" error code showed back up -- the washer had basically "bricked" itself up again, and it surely wasn't due to a faulty motor. I called the technician directly (as he had called from his cell phone earlier), and told him of the issue. He said, oh, it must not have been the motor after all... perhaps it was really the board that is bad, instead. He said he couldn't come back out to look at it, but suggested I call the office, and set up another appointment so they can finally get it fixed. I spent about a half hour on the phone with their representative Casey after this, who was not helpful in the least. Talk about no personality at all. When I asked for another appointment, her unsympathetic response was that my claim had been closed, and she couldn't do anything without another work order. Incredulous, I said, "so your company was enlisted to repair our washer, which is still broken (due to your technician's obvious misdiagnosis, having replaced the WRONG part), and now you refuse to come back out to fix it?" and her robotic response came: "your claim is CLOSED, sir, I can't do anything without a new work order." I contacted their owner David Behrens through their company web contact form (which he supposedly personally reviews). I supplied my contact info, and pleaded with him for a response, asking only that they honor the contract to fix our washer and come back out so the repair could be done properly. However, I received no answer. In the meantime, I contacted LG premium repair and told them of my horrible experiences with Precision TV. They apologized and sent out a different company (which honored its appointment as initially set up). The 2nd company got our washer working on the first appointment, without need for ordering parts. It turned out that a heavy wash load had caused one of the wires in the wiring harness to become overloaded and to fail. They replaced the wire and the washer works good as new again. This gives me 100% proof, that Precision TV did not diagnose our problem correctly, and wasted about a month of our time being without a washer, which cost us not only some major inconvenience, but also several hundred dollars in wash & fold / cleaners' / laundromat costs. I suspect if LG premium service had not kindly switched companies for us, we'd still have a broken washer, and probably a new (unnecessarily replaced) circuit board, to boot. Bottom line -- DO NOT GO TO PRECISION TV for any appliance repairs. I cannot vouch for what they might be able to do with a television, but the way they do business is very shady, and their customer service is horrible. read more

So my LG refrigerator I bought from Home Depot about 1 1/2 yrs old broke down. I contacted LG and they had Precision Television tech came out on 11/25/19 and replaced the compressor. On 11/26/19, I texted the tech that my refrigerator still not cold and freezer still not working. I again called the tech and Precision on 11/27/19 and no body would not return my call or text. On 12/2/19 I called and texted them again and no one return my call. I called LG back and they had to find any service provider to come out to service my refrigerator. But oh no, that first call wasn't to set up the appointment, it was actually just to verify the problem and to get the part(s) ordered. I was another transplant from Pacific Sales. It's great to have all the technology such as SMS messaging but is worth nothing when you reply and realize it's just an automated service no a person helping you who sends pre scripted answers. Precision claims Warrantech never submitted my claim, Warrantech claims they did. This ping pong game has been going on for two weeks with no resolution in sight. I found their customer service rude when I offered to add Warrantech to the call so we can get this straightened out they said we don't have time to be on hold, yet I do? Eight calls later, no resolution in sight. I finally called Pacific sales spoke with the supervisor and she's going to get back to me in 48 hours. We shall see. I do not have a lot of faith in Precision. Read the other reviews save yourself a lot of headaches and request a different repair company. Update: Seems awfully odd my claim was denied a day after this was posted for "physical damage". Tell me, how could a new fridge, in pristine condition, not cool due to physical damage. I used precision TV as part of my extended warranty for my TV,, they were quick to set up an appointment.They came out to my house to diagnose my TV, Stefan was a really cool guy, he was quick and professional at the diagnosis & ordered the parts he needed. When the parts came in they called to set up the second appointment,, again Stefan came out was right on time, unfortunately the brand new parts for my TV were defective which was the manufacturer's fault. Stefan had to disassemble the TV again and put the old parts back in in the meantime,, but he kept his cool, a bad situation for him & me because of faulty parts. Then we called to schedule the repair and the lady was arguing with this over the phone that it was nearly $500 for the parts and labor. We tried to explain what we were told by the technician. I wish I had checked these Yelp reviews before I agreed to allow Precision Services to work on my dishwasher and ruin my kitchen floor! I purchased a 5-year extended warranty from Home Depot for my GE dishwasher. In March of 2020 the dishwasher was making loud noises so I called HD to find out about repairs. They put in a request for service and said I would be contacted to confirm an appointment. Over 2 weeks later I hadn't heard anything so I called again. They said the appointment had been cancelled. HD said it might have been the service center. So I had to reschedule. The first technician who came out didn't even bother to listen to the cycle that I said was the issue. He said it could only be the two moving parts in the machine and ordered the parts without further investigation. After a couple of weeks the parts are in and a different tech arrives to install. He says that he can't work on the unit because of a piece of cabinet trim so he leaves. I took two screws out of the cabinet trim and removed it but now have to call to make yet another appointment. A third tech comes back in mid-May to install the parts. I remained in the area while he worked at one point noticing that he'd tilted the dishwasher forward and rested in on a bunched up pad/blanket while he worked. As he was leaving I noticed that a chuck on trim at the baseboard is broken off. I ask the tech to look for it in his blanket but he can't find it. After he left I noticed that there are 3 soaking wet dish towels up on my counter. I didn't initially think much of it until the next day when I felt the warped floor boards in front of the dishwasher. The leaked water must have soaked the pad which was pressed against the floor for an extended time. This is where it gets ugly and Precision seems to excel at rudeness, lies and denial. First I sent pictures of the various issues (floor boards, cracked trim, plus unsecured metal plate and cabinet gouge) to Home Depot. I am referred to Precision because "they have their own insurance". John, a manager at Precision, denies it was his tech's fault saying the damage existed before he arrived. His tech took pictures before he started work. As evidence, John sends me MY photos!! He also claimed that there was damage in front of the stove before his tech arrived. What?! When I dispute this John hangs up on me. A call back to HD and somehow I get a 4th Precision tech back out to look at the floor. He cannot find any other areas with similar warping, then leaves. I wait, and wait. I do not hear from anyone! When I call back John says my claim has been cancelled and they're not going to repair the floor. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. As others have said above, I do not know how they have stayed in business. It's infuriating. read more

Then I get a call more than 24 hours later that my appt for wed (tomorrow) can not happen & they do not have one until 1/3/17. By far one of the worst companies to deal with: after delaying warranty repair for 9 days they called to cancel a day before the appointment claiming they do not have the part needed.9 days and cant get the part? what a joke. when asked if I could speak with the manager I was told he's out and maybe I should find another repair place, ummm what? absolutely unprofessional and rude attitude of the caller still amazes me. Completely unprofessional company to work with. They sent a repair guy out who didn't know anything then said they needed to order a part and it would take two weeks and we would have to schedule a technician to come out after it came in. A week and a half later I call to check on the part and they send me some canned response (via text in all caps) that they cannot complete the repair and we have to go back to the warranty company. They didn't reach out to tell us before?! They knew all of the information about the needed repair even before we sent the repair guy because we gave them the error code. DO NOT USE THEM. Update: They told me that the reason they had not contacted us was they were waiting on approval or review from the warranty company. Apparently the repair that this company "WAS NOT EQUIPPED TO WORK ON" needed to go through warranty approval before they could let us know they couldn't help us. I'm baffled. read more

Precision TV was assigned to me as a repair firm by the store we bought our extended warranty from. I would never recommend Precision TV to anyone. From the day the problem was reported to them, it took three weeks to fix. While I attribute half the delay to shipment delays by the manufacturer, I have other problems with Precision TV: Day 0: The person who noted down the problem on day one promised that he'll update me on how they'll fix the problem. No one got back to me. It was only after a week of that call that I called back to inquire and they told me that they had requested for part from manufacturer. I would have loaned a TV had I been informed in time. Day 7: The first person who picked up the call asked me to call the manufacturer to speed up delivery and report back. I spent an hour talking to manufacturer. When I called back to update Precision TV, a different person spoke to me and she was upset because I contacted the manufacturer. Day 14: Someone called up to inform me that the parts had arrived but the technician cannot come in for another week. She said that she couldn't fix a particular time but promised the technician would call and let me choose a time. When the technician called the night before, he didn't let me choose a time and just gave me a two hour window. He said I had no option, even though I explained that I had other appointments at that time. Anyways, i decided not to miss this window Day 21: The technician showed up and complained that he has very little time. He talked to me about the problem, and that was the only nice part of the whole experience (the only reason I give two stars, else it would have been one). But after he had fixed the problem, he didn't stay back to let me put the TV back on cable to confirm it was completely working. He was in a hurry and rushed back. I would give this company 0 stars if I could. I was scheduled an appointment from my Lowes warranty with Precision on 7/19/16 between 8am_-12 noon.They were supposed to call before they came out. At 11 a.m., I had not received a phone call yet from precision. So I attempted to reach out to them to try to get an ETA on their arrival time. I was on hold for 50 minutes and then had the pleasure of speaking with Leila. I was informed by Leila that they had my information and they would call me to set up an appointment. I informed her that I already had an appointment scheduled for this morning that no one has shown up for. She then told me thatthis (7/19/16)t was actually the date that they could schedule me an appointment on for the future. Are you kidding me? I was looking at my confirmation email with the date and time of the appointment , yet she tried to convince me this was a time for them to schedule me a future appointment? She said that they would be available in a week and a half to two weeks to diagnose my problem. That they are very busy. And that's our technician had already been in my area this morning and was now over an hour away. I filed a complaint with Lowe's. Lowes also verified that I did indeed have an appointment time set up with them this morning. Very disgusted with Precision. I'll make this easy-Samsung contracts with them to evaluate and repair their refridgerators. Choose someone else. From start to "finish" this service provider is stretched thin and attempts to operate at a high level. Bottom line is no call backs or ability to actually get an assessment and repair done. Try calling the 800 number and as the recording states-stay on the line for an operator-in 5 seconds you will get disconnected. The "customer service" agent is short, flippant and a waste of time. This is only made worse as Samsung appliances are seriously flawed-but that is a different review. I took a half of a day off from work, I was given an appointment for 8-12 am by the warranty agency, I get a call from the technician the morning of that he is arriving between 1-3 pm. I called both companies twice and I got the run around. I ask to speak the owner but I got Jesus and a "we aren't coming out at all." I'm stuck with this warranty because it was purchased at Circuit City. I don't understand why would companies do business with Precision TV if they have so many complaints about their customer service. Precision TV is a scam and provides the poorest of customer service. Horrible company. Just filed a formal complaint with Lowes. They basically ignore the service time set up by Lowes. After setting up the appointment on Wednesday for Thursday morning, I received an email from Percision saying ignore the scheduled time we'll call you to set up an appointment. After waiting two days to hear from them and giving Dereck a call this Friday morning I still haven't heard anything. After speaking to Lowes today they assured me that this behavior is against company protocol. I will be writing the CEO of lowes. Appointment was made through KitchenAid warranty service, Precision was scheduled to be at my house between 8 am -12 pm. At 10:50, I called to see what ETA might be. After 38 minutes on hold, I was told they just got the order from KitchenAid last night and couldn't possibly come today. And they couldn't call either? They had my number, right there on the service order they decided not to honor. They let me take the morning off work and sit here. If they would have called this morning to re-schedule, I could at least have done my errands. I will tell EVERYONE I know to avoid this company. Looks like most of Yelp is doing the same. USE PRECISION AND IT MAY RESULT IN YOUR WARRANTY BEING VOIDED. This one deserved an update, so that anyone who reads it is hopefully discouraged from dealing with this vendor, and perhaps more importantly, in never purchasing a Samsung product of any kind. Where the saga left off, Precision did finally get someone to come out, as we were forced to wait for parts even though there was no diagnosis of the TV. I was not personally present, but my wife was off work that day. Of course, when the technician opened the unit, and started diagnosis, quickly concluded that the he did not have the parts needed for service. My wife took photos of the parts that the technician indicated were somewhat burned (a cable and the power supply board). Photo taking BTW is encouraged by Samsung on their service request notifications, so that there are records of what the issues are. At no point did my wife handle or touch any parts. Another week went by, and I'd heard nothing from Precision (presumably again waiting on parts). As I am departing for work exactly one week after the first visit, the a Precision technician rolls up to the house and expects to perform service on the TV. No phone call, no e-mail, no nada. Just shows up. Unfortunately, I had other commitments, and could not stay. Kind of creepy really. I report all this to Samsung's so-called customer service, and they assign it to another service provider. Then, out of spite, someone from Precision (I'm presuming it's the amazing mighty Derrick again), stated we'd opened the unit, violating the warranty. Not only is it not the case, but we have photos of the technicians hand in the photo, an he was the only one who handled any parts within the TV. Since that time (a few more weeks later, and partial service performed by another company), I have been going back and forth with Samsung on whether or not we violated the warranty. On repeated occasions, Samsung has contacted Precision, and has requested to speak to the technician personally. On all occasions, Precision has not been willing to allow Samsung customer service to speak with the technician, and it is Samsung's claimed "policy" that if one of their 3rd party service providers states a customer (unquestioned) has violated the warranty, that Samsung then voids the warranty, and you will get no more service - from anyone. Samsung In other words, if you have a Samsung product, and want to avoid having your warranty voided, steer clear of Precision. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- They haven't even made it out to do the service - and they are are already a failure. BTW - Never, ever buy a Samsung TV. Or any other of their products either. Not only are their products fundamentally flawed and defective, but their so-called "customer service" I assure you will be the worst you'll ever experience. Not to dwell on my poor choice of brands ... But I learned that Precision has a full-time person to deal with only Samsung calls (not repairs - just the phone calls). This is the only brand for which they have dedicated staff. 6 Mos. in, and my obscenely expensive TV died catastrophically. I have been playing tag with Samsung for the last 2 weeks on trying to get these Precision TV folks out to do the mandated warranty service. Precision supposedly ordered parts without coming out to do any diagnosis; received the parts more than a week ago; after 3 more days told Samsung that they made an appointment to come out (but not with me - which they never called); Then after 2 more days, Precision decides to "cancel" my service request with Samsung - which they are apparently able to do. After more hounding of Samsung, they called Precision and put me in touch with their Samsung dedicated call handler, who in two sentences handed me off to a "manager" named Derrick (sp? - don't care). Derrick was not only impressively arrogant, but also unable to accommodate my scheduling, no matter how many days out I tried to schedule. Their approach implies that their field people are paid by the job (when I asked this - he didn't respond) = the more jobs they do a day, the more they get paid. When I asked if the parts I was going receive were going to be new or refurbished, he claimed that he purchases "new", but put it off on manufacturers on whether they are or not (which is fraud - and I pointed this out to him). Finally, we managed to agree that I would put the TV on the front porch in some designated time/day window, and that the service would have to take place there. Note that their "technicians" only work 9 to 5, Monday Through Friday. You will not be able to contact them directly. You will not be able to have them come do service by "appointment" - only in half-day windows, which they may or may not actually turn up for. This buisness is contracted for Lowe's to make repairs on appliances through the Lowe's Service Advantage extended warranty 12/29/17- Had appointment scheduled for 800am tech arrival to install replacement valve on our fridge unit. Started trying to contact Precision at 830am since the tech had not shown up for appointment. After many attempts both by phone and by text messege I was finally able to talk to someone and was told I must have mixed up my appointment times as I was scheduled for 11-2pm. When I sent them the text messege from their automated service showing a 800am appointment I was then told it must have been a scheduling mistake. Manager Paul Perry contacted me later in the day and told me he would have a tech out first thing the following morning. 12/30/17- Appointment was scheduled for 800am. Tech arrived shortly after 8 and started on the replacement of the valve on our fridge unit.Once he was finished with job and put everything back in place, he told me that he was only going to open the water supply valve in our wall to 50% open in order to help with water pressure to fridge unit because that is what he thought was causing the sounds from our unit. Then he left. About 30minutes after he left the noise in my fridge started again. 12/31/17- In the evening we noticed a few small wet spots on the floor in kitchen, we assumed it was from normal use (cooking, cleaning) 1/1/18- First thing in the morning it was noticed our wood floors leading from hallway/living room and into the kitchen were bulging and swollen, they felt puffy when you walked on them. At this time I pulled fridge unit away from wall to find a small (half pencil size) stream of water dripping from the water valve in our wall. I shut off the main water supply to the house so I could see what I was looking at. The water was leaking from the stem area of the supply valve. I tightened packing nut of valve, opened main water supply again and was able to stop the leak. My drywall below the water valve behind fridge unit is completely water logged and falling apart. The studs in the wall are wet. Wood floors and baseboards in the kitchen are completely wet and swollen. the floors into the living room and hallway are also wet and swollen. I called Precision immediately and they were not open due to it being New years Day. 1/2/18- Got hold of Precision, told them what happen and they set up appointment to come to my house late in the evening on 1/3 1/3/18- Precision sent out the same tech that did the work on my fridge unit. He spent approximately 10 minutes in my home taking picture of the damage. Then he left. 1/4/18- Got an email from Paul Perry saying they would be in touch soon 1/7/18- I sent Paul Perry and email asking for an update, got no response. 1/8/18- Paul Perry emailed saying his legal team and insurance were working on the issue and would update me shortly. Later in the day on 1/8/18 we received a Certified Letter from Precision stating they will NOT be liable for any damages. Terrible service, and craftsmanship from a subpar company. If I could give negative stars I would. I normally never complain or write poor reviews, but in this case, I must. Let me give you the details of my attempt to get our television repaired. I call our local television sales store, Howard's and ask who to call because our tv is having a picture issue. They recommend Precision. I call. They tell me about their "triage" diagnosis for $39.99 where they take down all of the symptoms & will give to their tech. I will get a call back within 24 hours with a detailed quote to repair. I found this hard to accept because I'm in the service industry & know that without actually seeing and testing a problem, it's almost impossible to diagnose it properly. Even with my reservations, I agreed to go with it. Within 2 hours, I received a call stating that the tech couldn't diagnose the problem without seeing the television and I would need to pay an additional $94 for him to come out to look at it (imagine that). I agreed because I figured that he would need to anyway. We fast forward to the day when he is to arrive. I wasn't available to let him in, so I arranged for him to have access into my home. He turned on the TV and turned it off according to my building manager. Said he knew what it was. I didn't hear back from the company after 4 days, so I called. They apologize for not calling with an estimate & tell me it'll be another $349 to repair my tv. I say great, do it. They say they need to order a part. Ok, I understand. Two weeks go by, living room & home theater still taken apart. I call. They say they have the part, apologies for not calling again. Tell me tech will be here Monday (today). I take the day off. No show, no call the day before from the tech to give me a time frame (their normal procedure). I call in, girl #1 says she'll call me back with a time (8:45am), no call. I call again (10:15am), girl #2 says she will call back with answer or time, no call. I leave them alone & wait. 3pm, I call, girl #3 says she doesn't know why they scheduled Tim the tech, he's off this week. She will call back with answers. Girl #4 calls back about 30 min later stating that they had a scheduling issue and won't be able to come out until August 10th (it's currently July 27th and this started July 6th). Completely unacceptable business practices, horrible customer service. I have been calm and patient the entire time until this. If I ran my business this way, I'd be out of business. Sorry Precision, you dropped the ball numerous times on this one, you deserve this poor review. 8/05/15 Update: Within an hour of my review, the owner of Precision had sent me a private message saying that he would get to the bottom of it, apologizing. Also, a senior dispatcher (Darnell) called. He too apologized for the whole series of events. They set a time yesterday for the tech Tim to come out and finish the repair. Tim came out and my TV is repaired. Both Darnell & Tim did an excellent job. In correspondence with the owner, he assumed responsibility for his employees stating that the rapid growth of his company over the last 3 months has caused growing pains and they have identified that they have shortcomings in certain areas. I agreed. The only advice I could give is to perfect company policies before there is any more growth. While I appreciate the calls and promptness of the repair after my poor review, there should have been no call for it. Thanks to Precision for rectifying my issue. If I could give a less than ZERO star rating for this company. It would be a gracious act on my part. I saw the review on Dave T 10-28-13 and that is exactly what I experienced!!! It's like we spoke to the same person. The only difference is my TV was only 1 1/2 months old when we had the screen problem. I laughed as i read his review because it was as though we were on the same phone call. They must have a script. Precision TV absolutely DOES NOT KNOW what customer service IS, let alone how to provide it. They sound very unprofessional and dismissive on the phone. The bad behavior I experienced over the phone was SO egregious, I called LG and told them I do not want anyone from this company coming to my house. Myella (spelling?) was the name of the outrageously rude "customer service" rep spoke with. She refused to give me a managers name or phone number. She should not be on the phone representing any company. I will tell everyone I speak with to avoid your company at ALL costs. I am a very busy professional and I have taken time out of my day to write this review because I felt an obligation to others looking for a reputable, professional company for TV service. I have been sitting at my house this morning awaiting a technician to arrive between 8 and 12 which was scheduled through my Lowe's warranty program. After 3 hours of waiting I finally call the number that I had a missed phone call from only to wait for 30 minutes on the phone. This is my first Yelp review as I am so outraged by my recent experience with this company that I feel compelled to warn others. Here's my story: After contacting and trouble shooting directly with Samsung tech support regarding a sudden no power issue with my TV I was referred to Precision Television as an authorized Samsung repair service in my area. I contacted Precision and was told a technician could come to my home for a diagnostic fee of $150.. I was further told that amount would be applied against the labor charge of $150 per hour should a second visit be required to replace any parts. So, I agree to that and set up an appointment. A technician comes to my home and about 10 minutes later advises me that either the fuse on my power board or the entire power board needs to be replaced. Since Precision does not replace fuses, they can only replace the power board, I buy the fuse online for $5 and replace it myself. I plug the tv back in and the new fuse instantly blows...which is exactly what the technician told me would happen if I needed a new power board instead of just the fuse. So far, no issues with Precision, in fact if I were only rating their technician Dave I would give him 5 stars. He was excellent...very knowledgeable, courteous and professional. But this is where I get to warn you of the total rip off that happened next. Precision sends me their proposal to replace the power board...$159 for the part plus tax and $300 labor of which $150 would be deducted for my diagnostic payment. Excuse me? $300 labor to replace a power board that is held in place by 6 screws and 2 simple snap in wire connectors? 2 hours labor for a repair that could be done in like 2 minutes rather than 2 hours? There must be some mistake, no? So I call Precision and am told that's the correct labor fee. I escalate my issue to the manager who returns my call the next day and informs me, and I underscore this, for the very first time, that Precision charges a $150 "house call visit" fee plus a minimum 1 hour labor fee of $150. Excuse me? Are you serious? The previously totally unbeknown to me "house call fee" essentially negates the $150 diagnostic fee that I was led to believe would be applied to the labor fee for a second visit. This additional $150 charge, coupled with the technician's warning to me that he could not guarantee that a new power board would resolve my issue was enough to persuade me to just get a new tv....which is what I would have done in the first place had Precision honestly advised me of their repair fees when I initially called them. It's just that my tv was a higher end model and only 3 years old and I thought it would still be worthwhile to repair. Anyways, that's my experience with this company. I feel like I was totally misled and misinformed. Perhaps worst of all was the complete lack of consideration when I spoke to the manager Kaycee. No apology for being misled. No nothing. Just that's the price we charge and if you don't want to pay it than don't have us come out again. Gee, swell...thanks a lot for nothing. Total rip off. After my TV broke, I called this company as a referral from Magnolia Audio Video. They charged $135.00, just to look at it. And after 15 minutes of looking at it, they refused to repair my TV because the TV manufacturer has gone out of business in the US and parts were not available. They knew this before they came out to look at the TV but took the initial $135.00 dollars anyway. They misled me by saying they can repair my TV over the phone. I can't trust this company and their business practices. I don't recommend them. read more

If I could give this place a negative number review I would!! I have no choice but to use this piece of crap of a company for my tv repair. My tv is under warranty through a directv protection plan. My tv stopped working and needed a new motherboard. My husband made an appointment at the end of Feb with the company, the repair man DAVE which is the only man that comes out in the Lemoore area is the worst ever. I got a call from him stating that he could not make my first appointment because his company over booked him! (Not my problem) well Dave told me he would just order my parts and make an appointment for me trough him which screwed me in the end because he never answered my calls to make that appointment. For my second appointment that I made through the company got rescheduled the same morning due to Dave going out of town. So then I called the company and talked to one of the managers and he said that I would have to reschedule for two weeks later. Now this is my third appointment that has been messed up by the repair man Dave. My appointment was from 8-12 and I get. A missed call from Dave saying that he was already at out front gate and needed an escort to get on base, which was only 10 min ago. Also I never got a call saying that he was on his way nor a call the day before giving me an estimated time that he would arrive at my home. I called last week to make an appointment for the repair of my dishwasher. I was given a slot of 12pm - 6pm and I verified that it was the time slot. The day of the repair, I get a text message from their repair technician at 7:30am that he was will arrive at my house in 30 minutes!?? WTF?!! I told the tech that my appointment was supposed to be in the afternoon. He tells me that the area where I lived was usually morning appointments. I had no choice but to cancel the claim/repair because no one was home at my house. I then contacted Precision Services, who was not open until 8:30am, and I was told that they could not guarantee the time slot I was allotted. WTF?!! WHY GIVE ME A TIME SLOT THAT YOU CANNOT GUARANTEE? ESPECIALLY SUCH A HUGE TIME SLOT BETWEEN OF 12PM - 6PM. And why do I have to find out from the technician that my area is usually morning appointments? I couldn't be told of that info at the time when I called to make the appointment? And they could not call me days in advance to tell me of the change in schedule? It's obvious from other reviews and from my experience that this company is not reliable. I have the protection plan offered through direct tv and my tv quit working so I called direct tv. They set me up with an appointment with Precision TV for Monday the 19th timed from 12-4. I even got two separate emails confirming my appointment. Monday came and no one called and no one showed up. Tuesday morning I called Precision tv myself and they found me in their system and then told me that "Direct tv just tells people they have appointments when they really don't to get you off of the phone, they do it to people all the time" then he gave me an appointment for tomorrow the 21st and told me I would be contacted after 5pm to give me a time frame. First of all why after 5pm? Second of all I didn't get a call until around 6:35 which is shady to me. The guy that called was named "Greg" and sounded very creepy and was extremely short with me then hung up without even saying goodbye. And third, I have ALWAYS had GREAT customer service from direct tv and do not think for a second that they just gave me an appointment to try to get me off of the phone with them. Precision TV dropped the ball and is trying to blame it on direct tv. The way this company operates is shady and their tv repair man sounded so creepy and short and rude. I would NOT recommend this company to ANYONE EVER! I am contemplating calling direct tv and asking them to send a different company out to fix the tv cause so far I am NOT impressed at all. read more
