The steak was cooked perfectly medium rare -- so many places overcook steak. This was done by a chef who knows what medium rare is. The pork and sausages were also excellent with a nice smoky flavor. The chicken was cooked fine, but I didn't love the whole idea of pounding out meat. I wish they didn't do that. The pasta dishes were also great. The pasta was cooked al dente -- be sure to tell them if you want it well done. The sauces were both very flavorful, and there was plenty of it -- I sometimes have to ask for more sauce at some places, but not here. The calamari was also very good. My wife ordered the bruschetta ... Very good, but so huge! We're definitely coming back.

My favorite is the Nutella pizza--I always get it because you really don't find this dessert pizza everywhere, and it's so good! The service is okay--not amazing, but not bad either. The space is also pretty tight. I actually prefer sitting outside, especially in the summer, because it feels more comfortable and less stuffy than sitting inside. Overall, I still enjoy coming here for the Nutella pizza and the atmosphere, but I do wish the regular pizza was back to how good it used to be.

Prego is officially one of those places that feels like home to us. My parents and I came in for dinner, as we do often, and once again, Prego's completely exceeded our expectations. At this point, we're not just regulars -- we're LOYAL. Every single time we come in, they go above and beyond, and this visit was no exception. From the moment we walked in, we were immediately greeted by the sweetest, loveliest host, who also happened to be our server for the evening. She was absolutely AMAZING! So warm, attentive, and genuinely kind. She was constantly checking in on us to make sure we had everything we needed without ever being overbearing. You can truly tell when someone takes pride in what they do, and she made our entire experience even more special!!! And let's talk about EDGAR the bartender ...This man knows what he's doing! We ordered espresso martinis, lemon drops, and a Mai Tai, and every single drink was fantastic. Beautifully made, delicious, and definitely got the night started on the right note! Then came the FOOD... OUUUFFF BABYYYY. We started with some of our absolute favorites: - "The San Daniele Pizza" DELECTABLE. The flavors, the freshness, the perfect combination of everything... absolutely incredible. This is a MUST for us every time. - "The Beef Carpaccio" an easy 10/10. That first bite when all those flavors explode in your mouth?! BABY. For our mains, we had the NY Strip which was cooked to absolute perfection -- as it always is. And THEN... dessert. We finished the night with the delicious Chocolate Sundae which was honestly the perfect way to end an already incredible meal. BUT WAIT... because this is where the night got even more special. As our dessert came out, the one and only ICONIC CHEF UGO came out to greet us! He recognized us right away -- hahaha, I guess that's what happens when you come here as often as we do! He took the time to come over, say hello, and personally greet us, which was already so sweet. But then... he gave us the dessert on the house!! That kind of hospitality is something you don't forget. And honestly, what makes Prego stand out isn't just the food -- it's THE STAFF. You can genuinely see that the entire staff works together as unit. You can genuinely see that the entire staff works together as a team. My absolute favorite dish is the Carbonara -- hands down the creamiest, most delicious carbonara I've ever had. The chef really knows what he's doing; it's rich, perfectly balanced, and absolutely addictive. The ambience is casual and intimate, which makes it perfect for a relaxed lunch. We usually come during the daytime and it always feels cozy and welcoming. We haven't tried dinner here yet, but it's definitely on our list for next time! I used to go to the original restaurant years ago...and was so please that is was just as wonderful as I remembered! Richard took care of us at the front desk- very pleasant and friendly. I really notice how the greet/host is with guests, as it sets the tone. Many hosts don't care about the customer and are not very professional. The decor was rustic & cozy, I loved it. I went with a few friends. Our server, Kelsey, was so great. She made some recommendations on both food and wine. I loved her personality, and she was on top of everything. I was so excited that the lobster raviolis were still on their menu. It was just as tasty as I remembered! One guest had the sole piccata, and our other friend had the pasta carbonara. The service was the WORST. There was 10 of us, but we were quite orderly. We are a slightly older group who know how to behave in public. We just did not want to make a scene there. The waiter we had was terrible and seemed to be pissed off for being a waiter. The service was horrendous and they seemed to be in a hurry to get us out. They tried taking the food away from one who had just finished 1/3 and just gone to the bathroom. Another, they took his salad, WHILE HE WAS EATING IT. Do top it off, when we got coffee, the cups had obviously not been washed and when one of the people asked to speak to the manager, he said, "It is just coffee." I could not make this stuff up if I tried. I would rather be lit on fire than go back to this place. Truly, truly, truly awful read more

They have plenty of outdoor space and soon we can dine inside again (hopefully soon) ⁣ ⁣ you've gotta try their lasagna. Super comforting and delicious. Salmon was good too. So, I went to Prego for my birthday dinner, thinking "new place, new vibes." Turns out, not my best choice. The whole experience was just average, and honestly, a bit below average. We had a great experience on NYE. Our server Kyleigh was wonderful although they were super busy, and the food (Sole Ripiena) was beyond delicious. This is the first time that I see Prego super busy on a holiday, but we didn't have to wait long with a reservation (people were waiting). Management was very attentive also. Definitely never try this restaurant again in future and we were surprise in Mother's Day to eat some food you can easily find it way cheaper somewhere else ! Prego was a great experience. Had 12 people and it was great. Be patient and enjoy the moment and it'll be great. Kelsey was amazing and sweet and the chef made an appearance that was memorable! Thank you for the goodnesss and complimentary cafes and ice cream!!! read more

Have been here 2 times now & both times it was amazing! Beautiful restaurant, very friendly servers. The food is delicious & I love that you can order off the dinner menu for lunch too! Can't wait to go back soon. read more

Since we had just come from a soccer tournament, we were still dressed casually, including my son who was still in his soccer uniform. I felt a little out of place because everyone else was dressed nicely. Our waiter Eddie was amazing--super friendly and patient. He answered all of our questions, made great food recommendations, and even suggested the perfect amount of food for the three of us to share. Eddie went above and beyond and asked my son what position he played in soccer. He mentioned that he played soccer himself, which was such a nice personal touch. My boyfriend also asked if they had other locations, and Eddie told us about their other locations and even mentioned that this location will eventually be moving into the old El Torito location in the same shopping center. And the was amazing! I can't stop thinking about it! The three of us shared the beef kebobs, angel hair pasta, and salmon tacos. I would recommend them all, especially the past and kebobs. They also had live music that evening, which was a great bonus! I just wish the music was turned up a little bit so we could hear it better. Overall, such a great first experience. The food was incredible, Eddie was fantastic, and the atmosphere was great. I will definitely be coming back and trying this place again!

Had heard that Zov's will eventually moved and the buildings will be torn down and housing with stores will be built in it's place. Sad to see the coffee shop side of the restaurant is no longer there.
