About a year ago, I bought a very nice Frigidaire refrigerator from Lowe's for my apartment. I was tired of buying ice! I LOVE my pretty stainless frige and the ice is glorious. So imagine my surprise when 10 months in I get a recall notice about the ice maker - the sole reason I bought this! Mine was working fine, but given the warranty was about to go out, I went ahead and claimed my replacement. The process was smooth as glass. Electrolux was the manufacturer handling the recall. I was promptly sent a replacement with instructions on how to contact schedule my service. I was assigned to Premier Appliance Service. They've been wonderful! They communicated with me via an automated texting service and it works GREAT! I was given options and was able to schedule the replacement just days after receiving the new ice maker. Just as promised, a tech called me early this morning to let me know he was on his way. Mr. Derrick was the tech sent to me. His communication was perfect. He's a very nice gentlemen, very efficient and knows his products! Turns out, I have a Bosch made ice maker. My ice maker was replaced in minutes. Mr. Derrick also took a moment to show me how to replace the water filter. My fridge doesn't have the model and serial number where it was expected. This, honestly, was the hardest part of the entire process. I couldn't find it either when I went to make my claim. I had to call Frigidaire to get the info from my warranty. Mr. Derrick needed it, so he pulled the fridge out to get it from the back and took an extra picture with my phone so I would have it. This is service. And service with a smile! I couldn't be happier with the service I received from Mr. Derrick and Premier Appliance Service. Great communication, responsive, polite, on time, fast service, and went above. I would also add, the company vehicle was a spotless white van with clear company information. I knew this was the right person to let in my house. I'd also add, Mr. Derrick was very respectful and wore a mask the entire time he was here. When Dallas County is seeing an uptick in COVID infections causing the county to list the risk as red level, it was nice to see a company protecting their employees and customers. All around 10/10. The company itself is very poorly managed. They are slow and unresponsive. We can never get a hold of anyone when we call. They scheduled us a tech, pushed it back, and then left us hanging. We waited all day and no one ever called or showed up. We always get different information from their office, the techs, and our insurance company that hired them. We've had many techs come over the course of our appliance issues, and they're all perfectly nice. However, there are some that will just tell you what you want to hear and then leave without actually doing anything that benefits the customer. I really appreciate Eric who listened to our situation, advocated for us, and actually finally fixed our appliances! He's their only tech that I'd want to work with in the future. read more

We absolutely do not recommend this company at all! They were hired by LG to repair our fridge. It took them 5 days to come out and diagnose the issue. The repairman told us the part was in a local warehouse and they would have it repaired within two days. Three weeks later we can't get ahold of anyone. They don't return calls. This was over Christmas as well. LG finally called in their own company repairman and it was repaired in two hours. Do NOT trust this company! read more

Premier Appliance Services was the 3rd company (Derrick) to come out and look at our leaking dishwasher, in 6 weeks. The first company just added 3 tubes of silicone over 4 visits and it still leaked. The second company changed out the sprayer arm after 2 visits and it still leaked. Derrick came out and determined that, at this point, it was no longer repairable, within 15 minutes. Derrick was very professional, kind and personable. If we ever need service on an appliance again, we will definitely be calling Premier Appliance Services and asking for Derrick, specifically! read more

Service technician arrived an hour earlier than the 5-hour window provided and was angry when I wasn't home until 15 minutes later. I called regarding two problems. He diagnosed one and said her would order the part and return in 3 - 5 days to complete the repair. When I pointed out that there was a second issue, he got angry but determined another part would be needed as well. He left in a huff and said he would order the parts but didn't say if or when he would return. When I called the company three days later to check on the status, I was advised that the technician had closed the order and marked it complete. I send an email inquiry and two days later a "supervisor" called to say he would see that the job was reopened and completed. That was 10 days ago, and no one has followed through. There were quick to return my call for a service tech to look at our refrigerator, he came out on Friday, very nice, clean and quickly diagnosed the problem with the refrigerator. It needed a new fan. They charged us $105 to do the diagnostic. The part is not stocked, but they ordered it the same day. Said the part hopefully would be available the following week and they would return by the following Wednesday to install. I did not get an update, so I called and left a message, did not receive a call back. Called again, did not receive a call, but received a text saying the part was back ordered with no other details. I Left message again on Friday, asked if a real person would call me, now Monday, no response. I left another message. The answering system states "they are experiencing an unusual high volume of call". This is not a current message but is deceptive. I'm starting to deeply regret using this company. Ok so let me start by saying how I found this company. I bought the square trade warranty for my refrigerator when I purchased it at Nebraska Furniture Mart. As far as Square Trade goes I give them 2 stars. Once you have purchased the warranty and call them to start a claim they will drag you over nails before they will provide any useful help so that goes for them. So once going through their tortuous process they scheduled Premier Appliance Service to come service the claim. And that's where I want to say what a great company this is. Absolutely amazing. They contacted me immediately and scheduled a day and time when they will come. The day of Lawrence , brilliant guy, contacted me and told me he was running late and gave me a time when he will make it. After that he kept in constant communication to keep me updated of the time he was arriving. Once he got here, he heard me out about the issues with the refrigerator and got to work. 10 minutes later he was done and the refrigerator was as good as new. He showed me what he did and how he fixed it. I highly recommend Lawrence and of course the company he works for. Amazing job and excellent customer service experience. Using Premier Appliance was a nightmare. Run as far and fast as you possibly can away from them. In the course of over 40+ days they came out to my house four Different times, and not once upon leaving did I have a properly working washing machine. I have a relatively new GE front loading washer, the washer was covered by an extended warranty, and Premier Appliance what is the vendor used by my extended warranty company. The very first time they came out, the technician said "there are no error codes, there's nothing wrong with your washing machine" and left our house. Even though I told him exactly what the problem was, He refused to put the washer into a spin cycle where the problem was occurring telling me he "didn't have time". I called their office, and made a complaint, and they responded quickly and sent another tech out the next morning. The technicians name was Jordan, and he was very friendly and I thought we were going to be in good shape. When he left, the machine appeared to be working. While he was here, I showed him pieces of rubber gasket inside our drain pump, I showed them to Jordan and asked if was something to be concerned about. He said "no". Just a few days later, the machine stopped functioning altogether, and I made another claim with the extended warranty company. They again sent out Premier Appliance, and Premier Appliance again sent out Jordan. Once again, initially I was pleased with Jordan, he's a really nice guy, and he was communicating well with me. He had to order some parts, and unfortunately due to bad weather they took a long time to come. Obviously the length of time it took for the parts arrive was not the fault of Premier Appliance. When both parts did arrive, and he came back out and spent several hours working on the machine only to come down and tell us that they need to order even more parts. It turns out that the rubber gasket pieces I showed them were from our front seal, and he had to order a replacement and one other part. If Jordan had paid attention to me on his first visit, we wouldn't have been in a situation where even more parts had to be ordered. Once the second round of parts finally came, it took them several days to get back out to us. They promised me a morning appointment. I made arrangements to be here in the morning, only get a text from Jordan saying he would not be arriving until sometime between 1 PM and 3 PM. He didn't arrive until almost 2:45 PM, and then spent about two hours with his assistant working on our washing machine and putting it back together. When they were almost done, Jordan left early leaving his assistant to finish up the job. When his assistant finished, he said congratulations your machine works and bolted out of my house. I went upstairs, and found that the machine had not been hooked up or checked, I hooked up the machine and to check it put a small amount of clothing in to see how it would go. It immediately began to leak profusely out of the bottom of the machine. From that point forward Premier Appliance refused to return any of my calls, and as of this writing they still have not responded to me... I have a completely non-functioning washer after almost 45 days and Premier Appliance is refusing to even talk to me. Worst. Service. Ever. read more

I'm sitting here at 4:50 pm on a Friday afternoon before Memorial Day Weekend. Home Depot delivered and set up a new washer and dryer 8 days ago which immediately started leaking. Home Depot set up a repair call with Premier Appliance for this afternoon. No one showed up. I got a text from Premier saying they'd be here between noon and 4. No one showed up, and it is now almost 5, which they say is the end of their business day. I've called and left several messages (because they aren't answering their phone), all of which promised a call back by the end of the day - which is now 6 minutes away. I took off half a day from work, and have a brand new washer and dryer I cannot use (Home Depot's fault, not Premier's), but I still cannot use because the Premier service tech didn't show and no one has bothered to call or return messages. I've got Maytag trying to contact them as well, but Premier isn't answering their calls, either. I tried looking them up and calling other numbers listed on-line, but none of those worked. I ended up spending almost 1 1/2 hours trying to contact them. With help from Home Depot. Nothing. I don't know if Premier would get the worst business ever award, but they are definitely in the running. read more

I had a pretty bad experience with this company. Our freeze/refrigerator stopped cooling about a year after we got it. I contacted Frigidair customer service , and they said that the freezer is under warranty, and they set up an appointment for us with Premier Appliance. Someone came out from Premier Appliance, and told us that the main board causes the problem. They said that this part is on backorder, so it took about two weeks to be exchanged. After the technician put in the new part, he told me that if the freezer still does not cool then we should call back the company next day. Certainly, the freezer still didn't cool, so I contacted Premier Appliance and I was told that the ticket was closed! Loved getting a text confirmation from this company almost as soon as I hung up submitting a warranty repair claim with Lowes Protective Services representative. Then on the day of service, Derrick called me 15 minutes away to let me know he was on his way. When he arrived, he was friendly and very helpful. Although the appliance was no longer demonstrating the fault I called about he diligently tried to recreate the steps to triage the repair that was still needed. He even helpfully answered another appliance repair question while he was there. Horrible! Their technician never showed up for a scheduled warranty repair. Be warned the technician will not knock on your door if you are inside waiting for them. They will leave your "area" and not show up despite scheduling an appt with you previously, giving you an appt window, sending a text they are on their way... and you waiting around for multiple hours calling and texting their company to see why they are taking much longer than 30 minutes (they won't answer those calls or respond to those text in a timely manner though).
