Just bought a Caddy ATS from Hoehn in Carlsbad. Took the train down from the Chatsworth Station, Amtrak stopped all service in Irvine (then Bus to Oceanside). We originally purchased our SUV from Rorick GMC, prior to Hoehn purchasing the dealership and it was a nightmare. The car we purchased had endless electrical issues and the dealership could never find the root cause. Since Hoehn purchased the dealership it has really turned around. I don't have any experience with the sales team, but Dan (the service manager) has completely turned around the service department. My SUV has been perfect and the experience with the service department has gone from the worse service department to the best that I have ever gone to. All of the service employees that I had problems with are gone and the new employees have been great. If you have had a bad experience with this dealership in the past then please try them again. It has gotten much better. I'm 52 years old and I have been to a lot of dealerships (Cadillac, BMW, Lexus, Honda, Toyota, Chevrolet, and others) and the current service department at this dealership is the best that I have been to. We walked in to the dealership twice after looking at the cars outside and not one word from anyone. No service. I guess they thought we werent serious buyers?? Sales people were pleasant but offered a terrible price on a 2012 trade that was basically brand new (2012, 1845 miles) with a very poor explanation -- "we auction our vehicles" after sales man indicated they really needed pre-owned cars for their lot. Unbelieveable....made no attempt to win my business even though they had identical cars on their lot for $10K more than they were offering me. I hate posting negative reviews....So every time I get a chance, I like to post positive ones such as this one. We were on the market for a GMC Yukon after my wife sold her Toyota 4 runner. I contacted several GMC dealers all over California. Our budget was limited and we were NOT going to buy a Denali. Mark LEEDS from Hoehn Carlsbad GMC contacted me. We were on the hunt for the Unicorn of Yukons. We wanted a specific color and specific features. Mark hunted it down and worked his ass off. However, he was unable to get it for us since we could not find one at our price. We ended up buying from Fresno and hopefully get delivered tomorrow. I'll post a review on them soon. But I wanted to drop some props for Mark Leeds, good guy, works for you, does his best. Up front pricing and if he can't beat or meet it, he will tell you. i have never had a more unreliable car or unresponsive service center. Upon purchasing a new 2016 GMC Acadia, the moon roof hummed because it was installed wrong and the air conditioning went out. We had to drive home from AZ in the summer with no a/c with two kids and a dog in 100 plus heat in a six month old car! The service desk did not answer my calls for suggestions. I've been in for many other things with no concern as to if this is normal with a new car-I'm sure it is not. I'm in my 50s and this is my seventh car-the worst one. Now my check engine light is on again, ugg!, so I called but they are unable to get me a rental car because of...blah blah! Blah! I recently went in for an oil change for my SRX on a Saturday morning. I appreciate that they have Saturday appointments and that their booking website is user friendly. When arriving for my appointment, I was taken care of right away. The service advisor provided many options on a paint chip issue that I had. I had a check engine light keep going off. On Saturday I went in and the service writers checked the code, told me what it was and reset it. They told me if it came on again to schedule a service check up. Later in the week it did and it was easy to jump online and schedule a service. My husband and I were coming to the end of another lease. A car I thought I was in love with, until little things started happening here and there that irritated me. So, with a couple of months left, I started my research. I saw a commercial for the new Cadillac ATS turbo for $1,199 down and $299/mo. A week or so later, my husband and I went into Hoehn just for research purposes. Talked with Travis Cole. We informed him that we were just looking. He was not, in any way pushy. We looked at a couple of models, and made an appointment to come back the following Friday. He did not call me once during that week. I appreciated that so much. All the other dealerships we purchased cars from, or just went to look. The salesmen called constantly. I hate that! When we went in for our appointment. Travis was there waiting. We talked a little bit more about the cars, they checked out my current lease to see if it was something they could get me out of. Turned out VW corners their lessees into keeping the car (its pretty standard, except if VW allowed any one to buy my car at my pay-off amount, it would have been great, but they wouldn't do that, they wanted market value from the dealerships, even a VW dealership!) So the Jetta is getting turned in!! Anyway, we were there quite a long time, from 11 am - ish, until about 6. This was mainly because we took our time, looked at the lease, and we asked A LOT of questions. We took the ATS out for a test drive. Oh my. I have never driven luxury because, well, I could never afford it. We came back, and I thought we were ready to play with the numbers (and ensue a panic attack). Nope, super easy. Gave us an amazing deal. We paid less than 1/2 for a down payment than we did on the Jetta. And with insurance, its cheaper per month than the Jetta!! I know the gas mileage isn't super awesome, but its not like I went from 30 to 15. The Jetta wasn't what I thought it would be in the first place. Bottom line, see Travis, no pressure, laid back, great sense of humor! I haven't needed to talk to the service dept. yet, but hopefully its not as bad as the other 2 reviews. I'll try to remember to update once I've had my 1st visit. read more

Vince in service and Jerry in sales have delivered the worst cutomer service I have ever recieved on a significant purchase. They cant acount for extra miles that were put on durring a warrenty repair a couple day after I picked it up. Love the car cant stand the dealership.
