[[HIGHLIGHT]]Let me start off by saying my experience in the beginning was good.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]I don't know if they switch dentists but I had really enjoyed going to this dentist until this particular day.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] On 10/16/2024 I had an appointment to get my front crowns on. The lovely assistant took me to the back and reviewed my chart and knew the work they were supposed to do. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The primary dentist which was a woman came in and I greeted her. She didn't greet me she asked me what was I there for.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I stated my front tooth that they had worked on chipped and broke and I needed my permanent crowns. She then stated that I can't help you without even reviewing anything. The assistant went out and spoke with her and stated that she seen on my chart they were in fact suppose to put my crowns on. The primary dentist came back in and stated your on medi-cal and we cannot help you. I have been on medi-cal due to my recent disability and they knew this. [[HIGHLIGHT]]So the bottom line was the assistant and I was confused and she said I have to leave.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]So I did and contacted another dentist. They stated I would need a referral due to I went to them first. (NO PROBLEM)[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]So I called up to Premier and the Young lady at the front proceeded to argue with me and belittle me stating it was my fault the crowns were ready and I let them expire.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]I never received notice that my crowns were ready. I stated this to her and she continued to argue with me and when I asked for her name she hung up on me.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I have never experienced this type of treatment at the dentist. I am a severe dental phobic. I had to stand across the street a couple of times while I was waiting for the next thing (panoramic x-ray, brief exam, and CT). The staff and dentist were beyond accommodating. Pleasant, kind, understanding are the main words I would use. I would also add compassionate. I will get work done here that I so desperately need. It's been 7 years without good teeth, my last experience then was beyond reprehensible. I am glad I found this office and dentist, even though I dread the work to come. NO STAR for this place!!!! Seriously RUDE people at the office. Tried to come in for the first time. They didn't have my husbands insurance information that he turned in 2-3 weeks ago before he made the appt for me. I was on FaceTime with my husband while he was calling them, they would let it ringing, ringing, and ringing until they didn't have anything else to do, and had to "pick up the phone"... told my husband that he never turned in the form. Then put my husband on hold and she told two other women at the office about me and my husband. Of course I am deaf and I cannot read their lips because they had masks on... the other two women looked at me and ignored me. Not even trying to help. WTF??? Those women are awful and lazy as hell. Will never ever recommend this place. Awful service. read more

So....all of my friends and family know my fear of the dentist. I'm afraid to go for myself let alone take my kids! Horrible I know! So i finally got the courage and brought the boys in for a routine visit in October which went well, it was just a check up after all. But then, Felix has 2 cavities and Nataniel 3 (insert suspenseful music here) NO! Omg I'm going to have to bring them back to have work done . So today at 11am (longest morning ever!) they had their appointments let me just say WOW! Like always the staff is friendly and welcoming and recognized my cry baby ass from the day before when I had my wisdom teeth pulled (but that's another story) they talked the boys through the entire procedure and I was in the room with them the entire time. The procedures were done quickly and we were on our way for ice cream in a matter of 40 min tops! Point is if you're looking for a dentist look no more! Come here! read more

I've been to Premier Dental Care 6 times over the last several months for a variety of procedures. First off, I just want to say how much I love the front office staff. When I walk in they greet me by name and say hello. Katie is so sweet and friendly. Sara has gone above and beyond to answer all of my concerns when I needed her to. They follow up, are very organized and on top of everything. They're also extremely accommodating whenever possible. They aim to make their patients happy. I absolutely loved the hygienist. She was so thorough, professional and so nice. Literally one of the best hygienists I have had. Lastly, I am so impressed and pleased with the care I received from my dentist. He apologizes when he has to numb you and constantly asked me if I was okay during my procedures. So thoughtful and caring and always answered all of my questions. His work is also superb. He always made me feel so comfortable and also valued as a patient, which is so important. Premier has been one of the best dental offices I have ever been to and I've been to many over my lifetime. I'm so happy that I found them and would recommend them to everyone I know. read more

Broken crown went for 911 appt. They did the whole work up, said they couldn't fix the crown and gave quote of $8k for two implants and opened a line of credit without our approval to pay for it. Went to Dr. KERN and got it fixed with temp crown and a new crown a week and $500 later ......premier dental care is a scam if I've ever seen one! read more

Contrary to above statement , experience at Premier dental was a nightmare. I'm 71 years old had many teeth cleanings. 1st hygienist was great. 2nd older one left me w puffy inside cheek teeth hurting. Much pain. Wont go back! Treatment was not gentle. read more

Zareh the Hygienist was very thorough with my dental cleaning. The staff up front is very friendly and I felt very welcomed during my visit.

I've always been careful when it comes to visiting new places. So I was a little nerves to come. But after my first visit those feelings went away. I received amazing service, the wait wasn't long at all. The staff was so caring and offered me water or coffee. I also like the fact that they send you reminders so that you don't forget about your appointment. I would definitely recommend this place. If you have any doubts they gladly answer your question clearly so that you aren't left with any doubts. I have been completely unhappy with Premier Dental since the first time I visited several years ago. At that time I had a really bad tooth infection and my insurance wouldn't cover a root canal. I requested a second round of antibiotics, and despite the threat of the infection to my overall health, was refused when I was unable to immediately financially commit to a root canal. At that time I was also told I needed a deep cleaning (even though I don't have gum disease) which my insurance also would not cover. The dental office told me it was "unethical" to perform a regular cleaning on someone who needs a deep cleaning. Who decides what's unethical?? Fast forward 2.5 years later, and I am in need of more dental work than ever including multiple fillings. I'm certain that their refusal to perform a regular cleaning or offer a fluoride treatment contributed to the extent of my current dental issues. Most recently I needed a root canal, crown and extraction which my insurances supposedly covered (I now have 2 forms of insurance). I was told at the time of my root canal and crown fitting that my insurance would cover everything and that I would not be charged. Since I have insurance and committed to having the root canal and crown, all of a sudden they became generous with not only two, but 3 rounds of antibiotics plus pain killers. Despite the fact that they told me my insurance would cover everything, now they are sending me bills for ~$140 for the root canal. Danielle is the person who handles billing for the office. I requested them to submit a request to my dental insurer for approval of denture coverage due to the overwhelming out-of-pocket costs for uninsured procedures I need. A month later my bridge fell out. One of the teeth supporting the bridge was unsalvageable and needed to be extracted. When I inquired about the status of the approval for denture coverage, Danielle told me that pre-authorization wasn't needed for that procedure. I asked why she didn't call to inform me of that. As her eyes darted furtively around trying to come up with a suitable lie, she said she "thought" I changed my mind or that I was indecisive. Why would I request insurance approval for a procedure I was uncertain about?? My mind had been unequivocally made up about that and I had made my decision clear even as both she and my dentist tried to talk me out of it (who's uncertain??). Not only that, but with regard to the $140 bill, Danielle lied again and told me that even though I had an emergency root canal, pre-authorization from my insurance company was required. They never told me that at the time I had the procedure done, and what insurance company needs to be contacted for approval prior to an emergency procedure being performed?? Plus, the document requesting compensation didn't even list the root canal procedure - it was a request to be reimbursed for the crown! This dental office seriously employs shady billing practices as demonstrated by Danielle's repeated lying. Also, their refusal to provide adequate antibiotics, preventive treatment or patient education makes it abundantly clear that their priority is not on patient care - it's on their profits. I have taken my insurance coverage elsewhere, and any procedure that isn't covered will be performed in Mexico. If you are in a similar situation, I suggest that you do the same unless you get EVERYTHING in writing prior to your procedure(s). If you are not insured, DO NOT gamble on Premier Dental Care's services unless you can afford an outside second opinion. Also, make sure to educate yourself on all of your available options and any alternative measures you can take to resolve your dental problems. Dental treatment is much too expensive to risk being subject to inferior care and being taken financial advantage of. read more

Premier is priced lower than competitors for orthodontics with a longer timeframe. (2 years instead of 1.5 years). We were willing to have the longer time frame. But after several months, we understand why the timeframe is longer. There are not enough orthodontic appointment time slots. My daughter was seen November 17 and will not have another appointment until January. Why are they accepting new patients when they cannot service the ones they have? Furthermore, don't expect to have your questions answered. Our regular dentist expressed concerns over a weakness around the roots of some of my daughters teeth and told us to discuss it with the orthodontist. When I asked about this at Premier, the orthodontist brushed off my concerns as not valid. When I asked him what was causing the white spots around the roots in the x-ray, he said he didn't know what it was, but that it wasn't a problem. How can you know it is not a problem if you don't even know what it is? The support staff is kind, but the attitude of the provider is unacceptable. Things that let you know Premier does not care about patients: not enough chairs in the waiting room, long wait times, not enough appointments, having to go back because work that was just done falls off, scheduling work in a 30 minute time slot that need 60 minutes. (When that happens, you are told sorry. We will take care of it next appointment.) read more

I can't say enough good things about this dental office. Each and every one of the staff are friendly, helpful and informative. Going to the dentist has always given me anxiety but I was ok during my last dental work. The office is clean and they don't overbook appointments. I really appreciate the fact that they play HGTVi in each office instead of piping in some horrible music that some of us find annoying. Dr. Wahba was fast, efficient and he took the time to explain what he was doing. Emily, the hygienist, was GREAT! My visit with her was probably the best I've had... no pain and she was careful not to hurt my overly sensitive teeth. Julia, the dental assistant, was kind, helpful and very caring. I recently have been coming to dr naguib for my exams and fillings. They told me I had 14 cavities and I believed it cause I have not been to a dentist in over a decade. He did my first filling nov 22 it is now Jan 7 and I have really bad sensitivity in that same area the filling was done. However I went to another dentist and got an exam done and they told me I only had 6 cavities and i am now waiting to get my fillings redone. Premier dental is a fraud and horrible dental work. This office gave my Mom the run around, the ladies that supposedly do the insurance do not know what they are doing. My Mother needed to get clearance for her knee surgery which one dentist did at this office. When she went back a year later because she was having her other knee done, then all of sudden the previous dentist was no longer there,she sees Dr Naguib then she needs all this work done so either the previous dentist did not know what he was doing but who was employed by this office or she was getting the shaft the second time trying to get more money out of her because they knew she couldn't have her surgery without clearance. Strangely she goes to another dentist all she needs is a cleaning to get cleared for surgery they sign her clearance and she has her surgery, makes you wonder. read more

I like getting my teeth cleaned but otherwise hate going to the dentist. Been going here regularly for a year. I have trouble with my gums so I get cleaned often. Always happy with the hygienist, friendly gentle and good. Couple months back had a toothache, they got me in right away and were so caring with me. Needed a root canal and crown, scary! But the Dr was so gentle and made me really feel cared for and my tooth felt so much better. My insurance didn't cover it all (they take most plans). They helped me figure out how to get it paid and were really nice about it. Super friendly and cool staff. Dr really gentle and took extra time to answer all my nervous questions. I work in SCV so their evening hours and Saturday appointments work best for me. Also they have an office in Palmdale. Looking for a new dentist? Come see Dr. Naguib and his hygienists.
