There is a reason that this company has only three reviews and why one of them, Lynn P., reviews owners that didn't even own the company when her pool was built; our guess is that none of them are real. These reviews were all written within one day of each other so probably friends of the owners who took over this franchise. We wish that we would have paid more attention to this when we chose them to build our pool. If you want to have to monitor every phase and every person involved with your build, this is the company for you. Ryan is either a liar, lazy or both. Every single thing that we asked for, and that he agreed to, were conveniently forgotten with blame being placed on his employees or subcontractors. It was a constant problem from the start. I'm certain that Ryan has never had any real success because he clearly doesn't know how to run a company. The only other person we had constant contact with during our build was Christie, his office manager. Another nightmare! She was one of the rudest people my wife or I have ever had to deal with. We dread the problems we are sure that we will have in the future. Frankly I would rather pay another company to take care of problems than have Ryan address them. He can't be trusted to do the job he was hired for without cutting corners. There are other more experienced companies and owners. I am giving this business 3 stars because the work they did was really good, putting in the pool went well and it looks beautiful, but there are problems. We have had to have several things done to the pool and the decking around it since we have had it in. All warranty work, but the most recent one is taking forever and the customer service after the pool is done is severely lacking.... read more

I know a lot of people who have gotten a pool from Premier Pools & Spas in the Phoenix area and they are pretty happy. The new owners, Ralph and Ryan, have a great team and they are very focused on providing a great experience for their customers. I have a 10 year old Premier pool and it looks and functions like new. Their standards for construction are high and that is what I was looking for with my investment. I'd highly recommend them. read more

Premier Pools helped us to create a beautiful back yard pool. We were able to remodel an older pool and outdated spa into a unique looking updated pool. We met with Premier sales and service team in December for planning. They honestly wanted us to like our pool. We upgraded to a beautiful Pebble Tech finish, added ceramic turtles, and custom red tile around the inside of our pool. We were able to convert the non-working spa into part of our pool. They were respectful of our budget; though we did spend over $10,000.00. The work was completed at a steady pace. The entire project was finished in about ten weeks. read more

We had Premier Pools build our pool starting in the summer of 2012. After many phone calls they finally finished it 6 months later. However, the lights in the pool have never worked properly and we still cannot get anyone out to complete warranty work. Now the Tucson offices are closed. We just happened to find out when stopping by to ask them once again about warranty work when we came upon them packing up the place! When you call the Phoenix office they just send you on a wild goose chase on who to talk to about warranty work. WE ARE ANGRY that they will not honor their warranty! We are filing a complaint against them as should ALL Premier pool owners who have built pools with them within the last year. read more

We initially met with Ryan in early May 2019 to discuss the particulars of our pool, the pitch was great and gave us hope for a good experience and a new pool in our backyard in 8-12weeks. After a couple weeks in the decision making process we chose to go with Premier Pools and again met with Ryan at the Gilbert Az office to sign the contract and choose materials, at that time again he told us the company likes to have 8 weeks for completion, however give us 12 for possible delays. Here we are at 11 weeks into the project and still have a dirt hole. The second week in July they finally came out to mark out for the dig and the plan was 1 foot off, WE caught this before it caused a major problem. We met with Ryan and Ish before the dig at which time Ish let us know there was no mention of the material for the cap on the spa in the plans and gave us a choice between concrete or travertine(travertine being the least expensive, we chose travertine. The excavation team came in on July 11, 19, six weeks after initial signing and charged us an additional 2600.00 for a supposed hard dig, we were out of town so we had no recourse but to sign for it through doc-u-sign, however, there is no evidence of soil changes through the depths to warrant this additional charge. The plumbers were here 7/18-20/19 to put in the pump and since it was charged, has been leaking, due to a cracked concrete pad, which they also installed. On July 22, 19 we contacted Ryan though email to see if it would also be cost effective to change the concrete and acrylic deck to travertine to match the spa cap and was told this could not happen due to the elevation being set, we responded asking for a logical explanation, he never responded. On 7/26/19 the rebar was installed, no problem. The electricians came in 7/29/19, no problem there. Then the gas contractors came in and moved the electric line, which caused a failed inspection (we found the notice in the box, the company did not notify us, we had to call them), this has been remedied, however added yet another unnecessary delay. On 8/7/19 we again reach out to Ryan about the decking and was able to make the change from concrete and acrylic to travertine, of course at an additional charge due in part to the increased shotcrete that would be needed to change the elevation. This is somewhat understandable but leads one to question whether this would have been the case if Ryan had responded to the first email on 7/22/19. We were informed that shotcrete would be 1 week from rebar, however it was pushed back due to the failed inspection, we again contacted the office multiple times and finally it was scheduled for 8/14/19 changed again to 8/16/19 yet we received a text on 8/16/19 that it is again being rescheduled. To this point the communication and progression has been has been atrocious and has left us feeling like just another number in their books. I have read some of the negative reviews and there seems to be common themes; communication, timeliness and excuses with generic corporate responses. The solution would be for corporate to initiate change rather than play into and condone the actions of those represent their image. read more

From our first phone call to the culmination of our project, Ryan, his staff and all the subs have been wonderful. Quality workmanship and quality people. The foreman was here every day checking the work (unlike the building of our home) and answered all our questions thoroughly. The subs were talented and hard-working - no dilly-dallying here - and there was not one swear word heard. We added a pergola and the price was fair and also completed to high standards. We wanted a builder who could include landscaping and they didn't do an adequate job - they did a GREAT job! The end result? A gorgeous pool (with swim jets!), a beautiful backyard and a lasting relationship with a fine company and good people. read more

I can not recommend this pool company at all. Joe M. Did come out to our house and gave us his sales pitch. He took measurements and promised that he would design a beautiful pool that was also inexpensive and within our budget which was $25,000 to $30,000.00. We were in no hurry to get the quote done but did request to get a copy of the bid before we met with him a week later. That request went unfulfilled. The next weekend we met with him and he gave another sales pitch which by now, was just noise. He obviously spent very little time on our design as his finished product was a rectangle. He did not even put in a water feature which we we requested. We also wanted in floor cleaning system and salt water. He gave us a $31000 quote for chlorine water and no in floor cleaning. Again, he does not listen and tries to price gauge people. He added those items in, except for our requested water feature, and that blew up the price even higher. He seemed really happy with trying to rip us off and his work. Consistently asking for praise. We also mentioned that we would want a free formed pool but he did not have an extra 15 minutes to do that. Bottom line is that he wasted our time and I will not give them my hard earned money even if the pool would cost $20,000.00. Stay away from this company! read more

I would highly recommend Premier Pools. The customer service is great, which I believe is so important after you invest that much money into your back yard. We built our pool with Premier last year and we absolutely love it. Working with the co-owner Ryan was a great experience. We had multiple changes as we went through the process, even changing the size of the pool "mid dig", and all he was concerned about was us getting what we wanted. They stand behind their work, fixing what needs to be fixed, and making sure everything is working the way it should. Bottom line, Premier Pools builds a really high quality pool for a great price. Believe me, I shopped around and we paid much less than we would have had we used the companies you hear about advertising on TV and radio. Plus, Ryan can play a mean guitar and sing you a song as well! I didn't know Ryan before this process, but he came highly recommended. I would recommend him as well. read more

Stay away from this company. They may be going out of business? I bought (and paid for) a SPA 4 months ago and it has still not been delivered. I get excuses and the run around each time I call. At one point they promised a refund, but, I never received it either. read more
