Anthony and his crew were complete professionals, able to answer my every question patiently and clearly. They are overloaded with work, especially after the two recent storms, but I managed to reach them after the first storm (because of a leak we had), so I got lucky. We have lived in our brownstone-type townhouse for 22 years, and never had the roof done. Anthony, on his initial visit, saw that it was still in good enough condition that we only needed a resurfacing--in other words, he didn't try to sell us on work we did not need! I have used their services and I thought this company was great! If you have ever tried to get people to do work on your property you will understand how hard it is to get good reputable people do work professionally and most importantly correctly. I really enjoyed working with Premier Roofing. Before calling them I met with a few different other roofing companies which were absolutely horrible. They either didn't show up or showed up but never heard from again, but the best one is when they try to talk down to me and want to speak to the man of the house. Apparently they were confused about who was holding the checkbook. I mean really?? What is that all about? It was really refreshing to find this company!!! I scheduled an appointment with Premier roofing for an estimate. The person (Fred) showed up on time very pleasant and sent me a detailed estimate right away. Fred and his team at Premiere Roofing were the roofers of choice for a solar company we worked with and they did a marvelous job. It was one of those increasingly rare experiences--fair price, really great service. The workers turned up right on schedule and were friendly, respectful and careful as they took materials through the brownstone building. Fred himself was super responsive from the time we requested an estimate to our last interaction. A few months after the roof was installed we noticed that in a less visible corner, roofing material transitioned into the parapet in a way we did not quite like. I was pleasantly surprised by how quickly Fred got back to us with a recommendation. Once we decided what was to be done, Premiere worked with our (early morning) schedule, and the update to that area was done within the week at no additional cost. Though it was a different trade, the workers alerted us to an area on a side wall where water may infiltrate if not repaired. We appreciate it! Better than excellent, this company is a pleasure to do business with. Their workmanship is of the highest quality. They are honest, honorable, responsive, responsible, take pride in what they do and are careful not to cause damage or leave a mess. And their pricing is very competitive. I called them after hours one evening. Anthony came the very next morning, explained exactly what needed to be done and refused to take even a minimal deposit until he provided me with a detailed written quotation and a guarantee. After I signed, he required only a very small deposit with the balance due upon completion. The last roofer I hired demanded 50% up front, gave me no written quote, took weeks longer than he said he would and dumped most of the old roof on surrounding roofs. He grudgingly removed the bits only when my neighbors threatened to sue. And his guarantee was worthless because he was out of business by the time the roof needed fixing. If you don't want to be ripped off, this is the company to go to. They are outstanding. read more

We had a major leak in our house during an unusually torrential rainstorm. We called several contractors to check out the damage. The only one who came quickly was Fred from Premier Roofing. He made some immediate improvements to the roof drainage, did not charge for his emergency work, offered a proposal for further work, and assuaged our concerns about more damage occurring. I am the Super of my building and after the Hurricane, we had some leaks in the roof of our building. Anthony, said that a lot of people had called since the hurricane and needed inspections and told me that they wouldn't probably have time to see our roof until the next week, totally ok. But two days later they call and say they can come by on Friday morning, between 8-11. I confirm the appointment and take off work so I can be around to let them in. Well Thursday rolls around and I get a call from Anthony, saying that if I don't call them back, they're not coming to see my roof. So I call them back about 5 minutes later, and get a woman. I tell her all of my details (she was quite slow about it) and I told her that I was confirming my appointment. Then I get another call that I miss from Anthony because I was working. I call him back a few minutes later again, and was told that my appointment time no longer held because he had booked the day full. I asked why my original appointment WHICH I CONFIRMED was not honored and he said he needed to talk to me before he came by. NOT COOL. And EXTREMELY UNPROFESSIONAL (he hung up one me) after I told him I was going to go with another roofing company. There's a reason you confirm appointments. This is the first and only time I've ever heard of re-confirming appointments. I called him back FIVE MINUTES after I got the call and he told me I got back to him too late. Don't have many vacation days and I wasted one for this. If this is how they treat possible jobs, I don't even want to think about how shoddy their work is. STEER CLEAR! read more

We used Premier Roofing to put a new roof on our brownstone as well as installing new leaders and gutters. Premier happily accepted the project and installed a new roof, a new gutter, and new downspouts and leaders. The roof has sunk in places, so that water pools, freezes, and causes damages. And the leaders have completely come apart. When called to repair the leaders (which Premier installed), we were informed by Anthony that the installation was done incorrectly, despite the fact that Premier did the installation. At that point Anthony back-pedaled and came up with some other explanation as to why the installation was faulty and, again, it wasn't his responsibility. Despite all this, we asked him for pricing to reinstall the leaders and the price was sky high. When asked why this was the case, Anthony once again blamed everyone and everything for the problems and said that the installation "was bound to come down." He was informed that at no point were we ever told that this was an eventuality whereupon he told us that "there are plenty of other roofers in Brooklyn" and hung up. I'm sorry I ever became involved with them and I highly recommend that they be avoided. read more

I have paid less for lesser quality work. They are priced as a premium company would be but if you buy cheap, you get cheap. I read about Premiere Roofing on our neighborhood E Group, and the recommendations were all good, a rarity in that forum. I called Anthony and he was very up front about timing. He could come and see my roof within a week, but the wait to do the actual work was 12 weeks. Luckily we didn't have any leaks, so that was fine for us. The estimate we received was very detailed and clearly spelled out the 2 options that Anthony recommended. We opted for the entire new roof, sky light and roof hatch. 10 weeks later Anthony called to schedule a time, making it exactly 12 weeks, as promised. He called again the day before to confirm. I though he might be calling to re-schedule because rain was predicted in the afternoon. He said no, not to worry, that he was adding 2 extra guys to the crew so they would finish well before the rain set in. They arrived promptly at 8:00, worked quickly and were very polite as they passed through our home (and joked around a bit with our 3 teen age boys) We had a perfect new roof and they finished well ahead of schedule.
