The best pizza in town! For a while I got a pizza from here every Sunday and if I need a pizza fix this is the place I turn to along with a Slice of NY. They have a great yelp deal for 2 larges and even better carry out specials. I think I have tried basically all the specialty pizzas and none of them have disappointed so far. Personal favorite is the combo. Even tried the salad (balsamic vinaigrette is amazing) and Philly Cheesesteak which were both delicious. 100% recommend! read more

Placed an order online at 2pm on a Sunday and received a confirmation with an estimated 40-45min delivery time. Got a call about 40min later stating they were behind and it would be another 30min. Almost an hour later and still no pizza. My friend gave them a call and they said the driver would be there in a few minutes. My friend asked for a discount because it was so late and they actually argued with her and said it wasn't their fault and they couldn't find the apartment and that was why it was so late. They finally agreed to half off which she agreed to, except that my credit card ended up being charged the full price. I'm going to chalk this up as a pleasant surprise. I'm from New York so I have a pretty distinct preference of what I like about pizza. Premium isn't really NYC style but it's in that vicinity. I'm not going to describe pizza to you but Premium Pizza has what you'd consider a medium thick thin crust pizza. It's a touch on the doughy side but I kind of like that. The toppings seem fresh enough and the cheese acts like cheese and not a layer of insulation like a lot of the places in the area. I'd say that Willow Street and Amici's definitely edge Premium out on overall quality but it's a very different experience (and cost). For what it is, I can recommend this place for when you just want a reliable pizza nearby. read more

This place, from first bite of the pizza, to the last, has substance. has just the right amount of chewyness and flavor to the dough to enhance the pizgasm current going on with your taste buds. I've always seen this place when I run errands in the area, but never thought much to try it out. It wasn't until my gf said, "oooooooooooh, we gotta try this place one day, the menu looks so gooooooooood." i said ok. A few days later, I was craving some pizza, so I went on the website and saw some coupons for good deals, I believe a large specialty and a large 1 topping for 23 bucks. Not too shabby I thought to myself. I ordered a combo, and a pepperoni, and the friendly gentleman told me 20 minutes. When I got there, the pizza was just getting done. I have to admit, I was a little discouraged when I saw the size of the large wasn't that big, but once I got it home and started eating, all was forgiven. It was a pretty perfect pizza. Having been born/raised in San Francisco, this place comes very close to my favorite pizza joints in "The City". The crust is soft and chewy, but not so chewy that it will dislodge the caps on your teeth. Toppings were fresh and sauce is yummy. I was at the Hillsdale shopping center, at Hillsdale/Ross, and while shopping I was in the mood for some good pizza. I saw Little Caesars with their continuos "special" of $5 for take-out pizza. But I decided to check out this little place called Premium Pizza. I was very hesitant at first but I took my chance. Basically, what I liked was that the pizza did not involve trans fats, just olive oil. I try to eat healthy so I liked that. Their take-out pizza was $5 for a large chesse pizza, great because I was looking for a decent price. Issue 1 was when they delivered to my old address after I had just moved. On the same night I was throwing a family party I also had 4 hungry teenage boys over for a sleepover. Ordered a few XL pizzas with sides and drinks from Premium - totaling a pretty nice price tag. About 20 minutes past my delivery estimate I called to find out what was up and was told the Pizza had been delivered. After some back and forth, turns out they said they accidentally sent to my old address. Problem is, that address was VACANT, even though they insisted the driver said he actually delivered to someone. Manager I spoke with was super rude, refused to re-deliver, as well as refused to refund my order. After all that, had to leave the party I was hosting to go pick something else up for the now starving teens. Stopped by my old place the next day and opened the front door to the food and drinks set inside the door. Who thinks it's okay to open a door to someone's home when no one is answering!? THEN place an order in a VACANT home! Keep in mind I paid full price for that order plus the other food I had to go get. Not cool. After boycotting a bit, Issue 2 was when I ordered again and they didn't bring sauce or dressing for the breadsticks and salad I ordered. This time, no manager on duty, refused to refund/discount the cost of the food that I didn't have sauce or dressing for at home. I'm pretty reasonable and I totally get that issues happen. But when they do, customer service is what makes it or breaks it for me. The food is good...in my opinion, really good. My faves are the BBQ or Bruschetta pizzas and the chicken Caesar salad. In the end, I guess if you're okay with pick up orders maybe you won't see an issue. But if you're looking for delivery, just know that if you have an issue and want to get it resolved, you'll likely be given the figurative middle finger. read more

We discovered premium pizza when the first open because my husband used to work at the Smart & Final next door and would go there frequently for him lunch break. I am updating my review because of the recent experience with bait and switch on the pricing of the pizza and the place being dishonest to me about the price when the pizza was dropped off. The online ad said 16.95 for a large Margherita pizza. When the delivery guy showed up he said the total was 19.95 and I asked why it was so much when I told the guy that took my order I have the online coupon for 16.95. He said to call the store, so I did The guy that picked up the phone said it was 16.95 + Tax ( 8.25% ) which is about 1.40, so 16.95 + 1.40 = 18.34.. The point is the guy lied on the phone to me about the tax and charged me full price, instead of the coupon rate!!! It's the point.. What a surprise. They are located right by Smart and Final, so on my way there, I fell for the sign out front that said $10.99 for extra large pizza. I called my order in while shopping at S and F, and was quoted 15-20 minutes. Pizza was ready right on time, but I have to say I wasn't expecting much based on the price and nondescript atmosphere of the place. Pizza is really great and the price was right. I ordered a medium sausage and pineapple and a side order of wings. The crust is light and crispy and definitely not chewy like generic pizza. The sauce has a good balance of being sweet and savory. Just a great overall pizza. Their wings are sauceless which is perfect if you wanna toss em in any sauce you want.
