I ordered Brown Sugar Creme Brulee using the Ritual app. Had the following issues: 1) They made a mistake on my first order and missed the Brown Sugar. It was literally milk. 2) I informed then about the mistake. Terry acknowledged and apologized for it. They took the wrong drink to their kitchen. They did it correctly the second time but only filled 3/4 of the drink cup. Maybe they were cutting cost and figured since I sipped the first drink that they should reduce the amount or perhaps even reused the same drink and just added the syrup and creme brulee. However, that is still really poor customer service. 3) The Presotea prices were higher in the app then in the local store which is not supposed to be the case, as per Ritual app. read more

To be honest, it's decent. If you really want tea, it is not the worst option in the world. It's got a large selection of drinks with varying quality. I would say definitely stay on their recommended drinks as the others are so-so. The price ain't bad either, it doesn't make my wallet go sad. The only real problem I have with the place is that it's just decent. There isn't any stand out drinks that really impressed me. It's there if you want tea quick, but there are much better options, albeit at a slightly higher price, around in Irvine. Overall, I'm okay with the place. It's fine. read more

My hojicha milk tea with boba was exactly what I was looking for with 30% sweetness. The tea itself was great but I find that it takes me awhile to order from the self order kiosk. I take the star away because I have been here a few times now and that always seems to be my only issue. The reason it's an issue is it can really delay the line if people struggle to order because they have so many options to navigate through. Super easy to order, all transaction was done on a portal, no interface with attendant. I walked up from the very packed parking lot. GO after lunch rush for easy parking. Upon placing your order there's plenty of pictures with detailed description of what's available. I ordered the strawberry mango with orange tea. It was delightful, and very inexpensive. When I came to visit TRADE Food Hall, I noticed Presotea had the most business out of the other stalls, so I definitely wanted to give it a try. I ordered a basic Pearl Milk Tea. It wasn't anything special, the flavor was just alright. It was a little too watery for me, and the boba itself didn't really add anything to the drink since it wasn't really sweet at all. Maybe it's my fault for not ordering one of their specialty drinks, but sometimes you just want to have a plain milk tea-- in my opinion, you can really tell if a place is good if they have a solid recipe for the classics. I did appreciate their self-serve kiosk, I was able to look through all their menu items with descriptions of what each item was, and it was really convenient and easy to use. And even though there were lots of people waiting around for their drinks, the service was really quick and I didn't have to wait long at all to receive my drink. If I come back to this food hall, I would be interested in trying some other drinks here! read more

Wow I hate giving anyone less than 3 stars but the boba tea tasted awful! It was diluted and basically tasted like drinking dirty water. The bobas weren't good either. I'm giving them 2 stars instead of 1 because they let us exchange it. However the second drink was marginally better. We even tried the crystal boba instead - that wasn't good either. I have no idea how this place has such a high rating. I am totally not super picky but I have to admit I wouldn't drink either beverage we tried. Let's hope we just happen to come on a "bad day" even though it was the weekend so it's not like it's a slow day lol. This place is not bad for a quick boba run! I got to try the brown sugar milk tea and the A-li shan iced tea (both at 100% sweetness) during my trip here. For the brown sugar milk tea, the flavor was actually more mellow than I was expecting. I've been looking for a super brown sugary drink that is so concentrated, it makes me thirsty instantly. This drink is actually the opposite of it, but if you're looking for something less sweet, this drink might be for you. The a-li shan tea was actually very refreshing! It was very light and also not too sweet either. It definitely quenches your thirst, but there is only a slight tea flavor from what I could tell. Wintermelon and hojicha milk tea with panda pearls and oat milk - what a unique combo. There was just a light hojicha taste - could have used more, but I still really enjoyed the drink. There were pieces of fruit (I think) as well. I also loved that you can get panda pearls - crystal and regular boba! I got 0% sweet and it was still lightly sweet - perfect for me. Really great quality tea with a big menu. They have a good variety of milk teas and fruit drinks. The tea is brewed fresh through the espresso machine and I can definitely taste the quality in each sip. I opted for a Wintermelon Hojicha Milk Tea with 70% sweetness and grass jelly. I come here whenever I'm in this shopping center! The actual boba is always cooked to perfection. Never too hard or extra chewy. Most of the team working there is friendly. We got 30% and it was perfect! you get a pretty large drink that is perfect to share, my fiancé and I split one:) the ambiance per say isn't much to note but this is mainly because this little tea spot is located in a food mall. I've come here a few times so far, and can say that I really enjoy their teas! They were always patient with me asking about their sweetness levels (I try to lean low sweetness) and always offered to adjust if it ends up too sweet. So far, I've tried their pineapple fruit tea, signature fruit tea, and strawberry lychee fruit tea, and all have turned out great at 0% sweetness (YMMV). Found in the same food court as Two Birds and Champion's Curry, it makes for a great lunch + drink pairing! Parking is free but can get crowded on weekends for lunch. Excited to see another presotea open up in the OC area. I know they have a bunch of locations already, but this is my first time trying it. This location is in an interesting spot. You order at one window and then walk around to the other side of the building (the side near duck donut) to pick up the drinks. It was also interesting to see the machine they used to make these drinks. It kinda resembles an espresso machine where they put in the tea and the flavor is extracted with high pressure. Seeing this through the window got me super hyped up for the drinks. I ordered the Ceylon milk tea with boba and unfortunately it tasted mostly like milk with a very light tea flavor. With their high pressure extraction, I was really hoping for a strong tea flavor, but the tea taste was barely there. I got half sweet and this was a good sweetness for me. Even with less sugar, I still didn't taste much tea. The boba itself was just an okay texture. A bit too soft for me since I like it more chewy. Overall the drink was meh. This place was really disappointing. I got the Peach Oolong Milk Tea w/ boba and it tasted like a cup of milk with a light peach flavor. I couldn't taste the oolong tea hardly at all. I exchanged it for the Ceylon Milk Tea thinking it would have a stronger flavor. It did, but it was still so watery. Both drinks were lacking in flavor, body, and richness. Second (last) bad experience at this location ... I got to the center to grab lunch early today, lots of parking at 1130 for sure. While waiting for my food I ventured over to the empty store front and started attempting navigation of the order system. Somehow messed up my order. Gave me the wrong drink. I didn't noticed until I left. Judging from whatever mystery drink that they gave me, it was just alright. The flavor was not discernable and toppings were just there. Painfully average and nothing special. Update: Owner claims pudding is creme brulee. I know what wintermelon is supposed to taste like, it's my go-to drink at every boba shop that has it.
