I stopped by after dinner at Hironori and wait for my drinks was a quick 5 minutes. I personally was not a big fan of my drink, the pineapple passion fruit tea, as I got 70% sugar and it was barely sweet, so definitely make sure you're getting 100% to get the full experience. I appreciate that they brew the fruit right into the tea, as I had requested the lychee black tea be made with green tea and was informed that they do not use syrups. Refreshing and great-tasting boba here! I absolutely love their milk tea and the boba is sweet, chewy, and a good size. Their fruit tea is also super good and unique; I'd recommend the Blueberry Midnight, which has this interesting blueberry-flavored tea I've never seen in other tea shops. I've also tried their Vietnamese & House Coffee, which was a good balance of strong and sweet :). The bubble waffles are really good here too, though they can get cold quickly so make sure to eat them as soon as possible lol. Best Presotea location by FARRRRRR. Workers are kind and helpful when you need their help or have questions (but ordering is mostly done on a self service kiosk which is nice!). The area is also a very in and out kind of space but has multiple pop up style restaurants to buy food and lots of tables near by. But back to the drinks ! This location has one thing other Presotea locations lack, consistency ! I hated how when I went to other locations I would have a good drink one day and a bad drink the next day even when ordering the same thing. However this is something Presotea Irvine does greatly ! The drinks taste just as how I remember them which is the way I like it !! Be patient with workers as there seems to be rushes in peak hours such as lunch and after work hours (lots of local Irvine businesses nearby which seems to draw in a lot of people on their lunch breaks or dinner outings). Service is minimum when you expect a college boy to serve you with no greeting and smile face which I already expected. Ordered a Taro Egg POP waffle, it tastes good as a plain egg pop waffle but it is definitely NO NO NO Taro flavored at all when you present a misleading menu. Please don't expect me to come back because you guy serves an artificially colored egg pop waffle instead of a real ingredient and hard to find parking parking lot when a tight parking space. Worth it Index got me is 2 stars when I expect it should have some chunky Taro cube or flavor but it is nothing out of extraordinary as a regular franchises Taiwanese Tea Chain. So many options here! I got the brown sugar creme brulee milk. Basically just milk with brown sugar syrup and creme brulee topping. The lady told me the creme brulee was like a cream foam on top of the drink. I am not sure if I got the wrong drink but it was super chunky, and at the bottom of my drink. I am not a fan of gelatinous textures and I think my eyes popped out of my head every time I took a sip. The milk part was delicious but the texture of the creme brulee was awful. My sister got the midnight blueberry tea with jelly and it was so good! Think I'll stick to a tea next time! read more

Great little spot for a quick milk tea and bubble waffle. I haven't had a bubble waffle since I was in Hong Kong and this tasted exactly the same! Soft on the inside and crispy on the outside. The milk tea was fresh, just amount of sweetness and had you wanting more. read more

The service was great and the facility looked really clean and well maintained, and the drinks my husband and I ordered came out quickly, however my jasmine milk tea mostly just tasted of milk and the sea cream i got was just cream. There was only just a barely noticeable floral aftertaste to my whole drink. My husband ordered a taro milk tea with boba, and he said the same thing plus the boba was overcooked and really mushy :( read more

They seem to have fresh brewed teas. I especially like genmaicha and not many boba shops hold that variety of tea. The one here is pretty good and boba tasted fresh. Roasted Hojicha also was delicious. Best boba places actually brew fresh tea and don't use pumped syrups to make flavors. read more

Terrible service. And it's a takeout place, why do they force you to leave a tip? There's not even an option not too. If the service was good I wouldn't mind... Update. If I remember correctly there was an indoor food court here but now it is outdoors, and it was very busy during weekdays, so I came here during a weekend in case the same description still applies. Despite it not being busy overall there were still some people here and parking wasn't easy. I ordered something from the milk tea section because it was early enough for caffeine, though they did offer non caffeinated options. They also have the 120% sugar option here, but I've gained enough weight, so I asked for 30%. It really brought out the bitterness of the tea, though the included boba offset that. The wait time was short, but I had enough time to go to a different establishment and order something else while waiting. They accepted cash. There's a PokéStop in this plaza as well, but I was feeling agoraphobic so I ate in the parking lot. Parking was difficult but fortunately there are no gyms here so one won't have to worry about lack of parking just to use them. read more

I came here on the 15th to take advantage of their BOGO deal, and loved it so much I came again on the 16th! What stood out to me about this place is that they actually allow you to smell the tea leaves! The takes a lot of the guesswork out of choosing from their vast menu. My brother tried the Okinawa milk tea and commented that it's pretty sweet even at 30%. Presumably because the Okinawa is actually made from a tea powder where the toasty brown sugar flavor is already built into the mix. It smelled ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS so I can't wait to try it. As for the drinks I tried, the White Peach milk tea and the Hojicha milk tea, they were both slam dunks! When I smelled the White Peach tea - an infusion, no peach syrup added - I thought the tea flavor would die when mixed with milk. I was in for a HUGE TREAT! The Smokey oolong flavor cut perfectly through the milk, laced with a wonderful natural peach flavor. I think this should be called the "peaches and cream" drink because the milk works beautifully with the peach infusion tea. Unlike with many fruit drinks that use syrup, the fruit flavor is just as prominent at less sweet or even no sweet. One of the best, most unique milk teas I've had in a while! A must try from this place because you can't get it anywhere else in the area! Unfortunately, I forgot that nondairy creamer doesn't agree with me when ordering the white peach milk tea. I was disappointed because I knew their milk teas would be a long lasting love for me. Never fear though! They allow you to sub fresh milk OR oat milk, which I really appreciate. So my second drink was a Hojicha milk tea with fresh milk. Delicious as well! Hojicha flavor is hard to describe but it is definitely very nutty! Their tapioca pearls are also very tasty - definitely on the chewier side whereas many places have firmer pearls. I also appreciate that they have panda pearls as a topping so I don't have to pay extra to do tap and agar pearls! Overall, I'm thrilled Presotea opened in the area! Waited 15 minutes for a simple Vietnamese coffee. Once it came out, It was watery and tasted like a simple syrup. I immediately threw it away. I paid $6 for a water and fake syrup that didn't even taste like Vietnamese coffee. I can't speak on the boba here, but their coffee is not even remotely good. After a doctor's appointment in the area, I searched for a local coffee/tea spot and I found this - haven't had boba in ages which sounded refreshing! I grew up having matcha at home and I make myself matcha every morning, but sometimes I like to splurge and order matcha when I'm out. I ordered a plain iced matcha tea with boba, and after one sip I simply couldn't fathom finishing the rest and I threw it out. It was so bitter it tasted like chemicals, they must have added a copious amount of matcha powder. Not to be dramatic, but it was the worst matcha I've ever tasted. I first heard of Presotea when they opened on Bolsa and I'm glad they have one close to work now in Irvine! Located at the Trade Food plaza, this is a one stop shop! You can come by, grab lunch and grab some boba. I mean who doesn't like that idea? Since today is their grand opening, they have BOGO and I got 4 drinks. I got the Blueberry Midnight, Strawberry Fruit Tea, Lychee Fruit tea, and White Peach fruit tea! All of them were pretty good! They're refreshing for a hot summer's day. And the good thing is these drinks already came with add-ons so you don't really need to add anything unless you want some extra boba or something. *Tip* Make sure you mix your drink before you drink it; especially the fruit teas. The syrup is at the bottom, so mix well before drinking for an even flavor. They also had great customer service (as usual). Each team member was so nice and helpful. I've always seen ads for Presotea and we finally visited today! They're still in the process of doing their soft opening but everything runs smoothly and everything looks great! They have the option of doing 120% sweetness :O but everything else is pretty standard! Some friends tried the Lychee Fruit tea and the Wintermelon & Hojicha. The lady at the front was super sweet and answered all of our questions thoroughly. The drinks were good but we still have to get used to how they sweeten their drinks! I don't like mine too sweet but the 50% sweet tea was a little too bland for me, so I'd go with 70% next time. Looking back to come back again! P.S. I was there saw them put it on the side counter without calling name. The order status at the same time said delay. I usually don't write reviews but the milk teas here made me depressed enough to write one. Good customer service my only problem is with the drinks. I haven't had the regular teas or the blended drinks but I can say the milk teas are terrible. I had the winter melon milk tea and the ai lee Shan milk tea and they're both so watery, no hint of any creaminess or milkyness idk but just so watery that it made me sad and the flavor is lacking as well.
