This is such a cute sandwich spot in bayside! They have a great seating area inside but I love the backyard patio area they have. The sangria was out of this world, we also started off with the fried mozzarella and wow those are addicting. I also got a chicken panini and the bread was nice and crunchy just how I like it. One of my favorite spots on Bell!! I've been coming here for years. They have the absolute best, freshest tasting sandwiches and they fill me up for quite a while. I've had so many of them I've lost count. Get the Belgian fries with the dipping sauces! They're literally all so good but roasted garlic and chipotle mayo are my favs. I cannot come here without getting them. I'm also a fan of their white sangria but they do have a full bar with a good beer and wine list. There's also many great options for vegans and vegetarians. I'm not a sandwich person, but wow, I was actually impressed by Press 195 this time- my sandwich (wrap) was goood. Let me backtrack - we started with fries with the garlic aioli sauce and the chipotle mayo sauce. We enjoyed the garlic sauce more cuz we're big garlic fans, and the sauce was lightly flavorful and didn't make the fries feel heavy. The fries are nicely fried and made for a nice start to the meal. Here's what blew my mind- I'm not a sandwich person, so we swapped out the bread for a flour wrap- what a huge difference it made! We got the #13 (tomato, mozz, basil, maple basil pesto) with prosciutto. It was perfect, especially for a hot day. The sandwich wasn't too heavy, especially with the wrap substitute, and the sauce was sweet with good flavor. The prosciutto added this depth and the mozz was creamy. I really enjoyed this combination - if I'm coming back here, I'm gonna have a hard time choosing between this and trying something new. Only downside is this place is sooo crowded! It's a little more open in the back seating, but it can get hot out there. read more

Found this place after walking around bayside, trying to find a place for lunch. Saw a lot of good reviews so my friends and I were definitely excited to try some of their sandwiches. Soon as we came in, we were seated quite quickly. Our waitress was super friendly and helpful - had great suggestions and even told us about her personal recommendations for what to try. We got their belgian fries with 3 sauces - chipotle mayo, remoulade and pineapple sriracha sauce. The fries were good and the different sauces were interesting and made it fun to eat. Next time I think I'd want to try their sweet potato fries! For the actual meal, she recommended the #38 - grilled marinated sliced steak with avocado, sweet onion jam, fresh mozzarella and creamy roasted pepper dressing. I actually had them change the creamy roasted pepper dressing to the chimichurri sauce which our waitress highly recommended. All 3 of us ended up getting different variations of the #38. Our sandwiches came out quickly and looked amazing. They tasted very good as well, I actually added the chipotle mayo and the pineapple sesame sriracha sauce for a little extra kick which definitely elevated it for me. So I was happy to arrive at Press and not have to wait the usual 30 minute wait. This was surely the highlight of the evening, and it was all due to a stormy evening. Promptly after being seated we placed our orders. Food: I ordered number 34: grill chicken sandwich with peppers and pesto. We also ordered some fries which is perhaps the signature item of this place. The price is about $7, the fries are crisp and delicious, and the side sauces make them even better. The portion of fries is good for 2 people if you're looking a regular portion. Please note each sauce is an extra $1. I highly recommend the chipotle sauce. Overall we had a decent experience here. I have actually been coming here for a very long time and today I was very unsatisfied. I stopped by around 7pm to grab a quick bite to eat. I came with a scooter and my friend from a small skateboard. However we were both turned away by the gentleman in the front and stated they did not have room. There was only maybe two tables that had customers in it and the whole front of the restaurant was open with no one around. Literally the front had two tables that sat two at each table. One being available on the left and one one the right. The middle with completely empty and had about 6-7 feet in between with plenty of space for my scooter to stand right next to me while we ate. However again the whole restaurant was empty. Now I can understand if the restaurant was packed or even half full. I did not feel very welcome and I think being the time that it is now with covid still around and easier to take a scooter around they could have accommodated. My go to is the eggplant parm on ciabatta, and it's almost my always order since it's so incredible.
