Great atmosphere! I was blown away with how amazing the place looked when I walked in. Nice job blending old and new! It was a mostly older crowd of professionals there but then again it was Tuesday at 4:00. I've driven by and just wanted to check it out. I thought the drink prices were a little steep but the food was delicious. I opted for the beef on a di lauro with housemade chips. Yum! My favorite. I was disappointed I had to ask my server for my chips, and then explain the menu shows that my sandwich comes with them when she said it's only a sandwich no extras. You can't trust a place that will bring you just a sandwich! Luckily they made it right and I got my delicious chips. I wasn't a fan of the cold au jus sauce that came with it but I'm more of a horseradish on the beef kind of guy anyways, which they provide. Bottom Line: nice place to grab some drinks and a bite to eat. Fast and friendly service. Did not realize they had an upstairs game room until I looked at some more reviews, I'll be going back to check it out for sure! read more

I wanted to really like this place, I had heard good things.......however as a previous review had stated there has been a change. The service was suspect, you could tell that it was the owner's daughter filling in for the fired staff. She really did try to pull it together and put her best foot forward however she wasn't very good. The food was average at best, there were substitutions made by the kitchen as they ran out of ingredients and never alerted anyone at the table until the food came out different than on menu. Overall a very poor experience and will not be going back. read more

Great food. Great atmosphere. The place to be for SU games! I got the fried chicken sandwich and it was perfect. Fully recommend get the chipotle sauce on anything you order. First time on a sat. Great service from our waitress, Morgan. Extensive menu, tried grilled egg plant(served in casserole with red sauce and melted mozzarella. A small salad was served in the casserole bowl. This bar is incredible! The food is amazing and the staff is incredibly friendly. Has plenty of TVs and a lot of space. The outdoor patio is awesome for hanging out in the evenings as well. The table arrangement is horrific, numerous tables are placed directly in front of the door and every time it opens it is FREEZING. Service is unbelievably slow. Waitresses are not very friendly and seem to forget about you, drinks never filled from ordering to meal arriving at the table was over an hour. The worst part about the experience was a friend ordered chicken tenders and they came out raw. Not just cold, frozen and pink in the middle. When we advised the waitress she brought them back for new ones, never apologized and still charged for the frozen chicken tenders. Disappointing, I don't look for free things but when you chose to serve raw chicken even an apology would be nice. Definitely would not recommend this restaurant. read more

Bring cash if you are going here and pay attention to your money. The waitress decided to add extra money from my Credit card into her tip after I filled out the slip. I was there for a work lunch so we weren't drinking, I'd hate to see what happens if you are drinking. When I called, the owner said "Some people don't know how to do math."... Well I do and I filed out the slip for her. He also said "We have a lot of girls that work here." Sorry, but there was one waitress there and one Bartender when we were there for lunch during the week..If he really wanted to find out who it was, he could. Oh well, She's his problem now. This place is great. Not an extensive beer list but very reasonably priced! Had a variety of apps that were delicious. Wings were good. Cheese curds great. And French fries out of this world! The ambiance is perfect and I will definitely be spending a lot of time at this bar. Only complaint is the website states it has a Galaga/pac man machine (the whole reason I stopped in this bar) and that seemed to be missing. I asked the bar tender and he said they don't have that anymore. They should MOST DEFINITELY bring that back! read more

The manager was extremely rude to me and my friends. She refused to serve me a drink even though she was not my server and I had not even spoke to her. I asked my server why she couldn't serve me and she said her manager told her so. I asked the manager about this and she said she doesn't have to serve me if she doesn't want to. I've stopped in multiple times, both to dine in as well as enjoy a drink or two, and can confidently say that this place is a must for anyone that enjoys food, sports, drinks, and staff with a personality! The quality and variety of the food is amazing and the selection of drinks are pretty good as well. I highly recommend the Sledgehammer Burger if you are a fan of BIGGG burgers!!! The service is attentive and friendly as well. We reserved their side party room and some of the front side of the bar area for a retirement party on a recent Saturday night from 6pm-10pm. I was promised we would never run out of HOT food and low and behold come 6pm when guests were arriving, NO food was even put out until almost 7pm, and then that was only a salad on a handful of chicken wings. When the on duty manager was told what items and promises were made to me by the owner, she seemed to have no knowledge of any of it !...very poor communication between them to say the least and it showed on their product that night. Then when pizza's were put out it was minimal servings, then small like personal size pizza's and toppings I never ordered or requested. A party room rental fee was "waived" seemingly as a courtesy at the onset (before the event), but that amount has no bearing on the end result because of the poor service of putting out mediocre food to feed well over 100 people and items we never even agreed to or discussed ! The waitress that did put out the tubs of beer and clean up the tables with empties was awesome. Lastly I would not recommend the Press Room Pub for an event, after choosing such a simple menu of pizza/wings/salad, then unable to deliver and set up the food in a timely manner as promised is not good business practice to receive a positive referral. Our final bar tab and menu cost was adjusted at the end of the night as a result of the food issue, I commend the manager for that. read more

I will start by saying that I have been to PressRoom many times, and have had a great experience. I recently went to PressRoom around 8pm on a Saturday. It was fairly busy, and I went up to the bar with a friend. The bartender came up to us to take our orders. My friend ordered her drink and turned to ask me what I was getting. I said that I was unsure and started to lean in closer to the bartender because I wanted to ask a question. As soon as she heard me say that I didn't know what I wanted to drink, without saying anything, she quickly turned around and walked away. At no point did she offer a drink menu or asked what I was looking for. When she came back to give my friend her drink, she still did not acknowledge me or ask if I had decided on a drink. At that point I did not place an order. My friend finished her drink and we left to go elsewhere. I was very displeased with the service and I am leery of going back. read more

If you want to consume food or drinks DO NOT GO TO THE PRESSROOM PUB DURING AN SU GAME!!!! We arrived at 6:45 to watch the 8:00 game. The restaurant and bar were busy but manageable had there been more employees. We asked Catherine, a extremely nice and friendly waitress for a table. She informed us she would do her best to get our party of 6 seated. We tried to get drinks from the bar for a long time and finally we were served by Georgie, one of only two bartenders. She was also very nice and and got our drinks as efficiently as she could with more and more people arriving and a ridiculously short staff. Catherine checked back with us frequently to let us know no tables were available and by 9 pm we gave up. The two employees we encountered were amazing but the place not so much. We left without eating and took our growing group of friends along with us. HIRE SOME MORE STAFF PRESSROOM PUB! We will not be returning EVER! read more
