I just bought my second vehicle from these guys in less than two years. When I bought my first car, from Prestige, my credit was horrible and I had a fairly recent bankruptcy. No one would approve me but these guys made it happen. I bought a warranty at the time which I thought was B.S. but when a couple minor things went, they took care of it. I wanted to pay my car off and then upgrade, but since my warranty expired this coming January I thought I should get something newer. I went back to these guys and explained my situation and told them I didnt have too much to put down. They ran my credit and to my surprise my credit had gone up 200 points since I purchased my car from them two years ago. They said "pick the car you want and we will see what we can do". I test drove a car I thought would be practical and told them to work on it. They got me a great interest rate and I opted for the warranty in the event something happens. My job is mobile so I can not afford to break down and don't like unexpected car repairs. Even if I don't use the warranty, I have a peace of mind that I am covered if something does happen. To be candid, I had a very high interest rate on the first car they sold me and my selection was slim at that time. That was my fault for my credit history and I knew that at the time of purchase. The second time around I had more choices and a good interest rate. I have purchased many cars from different dealerships both new and used. I had good credit and bad credit. I see negative reviews here but the people writing it fail to mention one thing.... When you deal with used cars it is a business unlike others. It is not specific to one dealership. I recommend looking at a few cars on their site and writing down the stock number and prices before going in. Then look at the ones you want and be realistic about what you can afford. Don't expect to get a $40K car with 500 down and $200 payments. Do yourself a favor and get the warranty - unless you have access to a free mechanic or get parts for free, you will need something on a used car at some point. I went to Prestige about 2.5 years with a very low credit score due to loss of work. Knowing I had limited options, I asked the manager what I could get into but I was more concerned with reliability as opposed to getting what I like. So he pointed me in the direction of a 2003 Lexus ES00 with 112,000 miles. They managed to get me approved with a reasonable down payment but high interest due to my credit. They also sold me the warranty that I was skeptical about because it seemed pricey. I drove the Lexus for about 1.5 years with two mechanical problems. The warranty did cover my repairs minus the deductible. I also had maintenance done at my cost which was convenient since they had my car anyway. I realized I needed vehicle with more cargo room due to my work and decided to run my credit. By paying all my bills on time and the loan on the Lexus my credit jumped over 150 points in 1.5 years. I was going to go to a different dealership to get a certified vehicle but I decided to give them the business since they took care of me the first time. I took a Lexus RX350, Mercedes R350, and Acura MDX for a test drive. I decided to go with the MDX because it had the least miles. So this time around my interest was far lower since my credit improved and I also opted for the warranty so I could have a piece of mind. One misconception with these warranties is that it covers wear and tear - it doesn't. I had one problem with my MDX which was very strange. I took it to their recommended shop in South Amboy and the mechanic found that the battery terminal was corroded and they replaced it with a new one. In conclusion I was satisfied with both purchases and resolution when I had a problem. I already told the owner, my next purchase will be a Mercedes GL450 with low miles... I was surprised to see all the negative reviews on here. I guess it goes hand in hand with used cars. I've had worse experiences at larger dealerships ( I wont mention names). About a month ago, I was in an accident and unfortunately my car was totaled. My insurance let me rent a car for a couple of weeks while they figured out what would happen with my car and the other persons insurance covering the damage, WHAT A HASSLE!!! I was told my car was beyond repair and my rental was beginning to run out so I began to check out different dealerships. In the linden area (which is where we live) everything seems to be more expensive. It always been easier to check out cars online, and then if you see something you like, go check it out. Gas is getting too expensive to drive from dealership to dealership. Very often, I would call a dealership and even if I asked a few questions, they wanted me to come in and see the car, I was simply trying to get details about the vehicles before stopping by. I saw a car that interested me on the prestige auto group website. I called and spoke to a young lady, whom I assume is the secretary, she transferred my call to a sales rep named russ. I think that's how its spelled. He was very nice and gave me details on 3 different cars. I scheduled an appointment to stop by and he made himself available for the time that best suited me. The dealership is nice, the sales reps are friendly and russ walked around with me to look at all of the cars that caught my interest. I wasn't sure what I wanted, but I finally found an SUV that I really liked. My last car was a Lexus and I rarely had problems with it so this time around I went with a Lexus RX. I sat down with the finance manager Arthur and he went over the details in order to find a comfortable payment plan. Between the finance manager and the sales rep, I was very happy with their customer service and the SUV is really nice for the deal they offered me. I was looking to purchase a car for my family for the past 2 months. I checked out different dealerships and looked at vehicles online. I used my optimum service to search for recommended vehicles and finally stopped searching dealership by dealership in total and saved us all the trips with the kids to different dealers. Our search online began, my family and I checked out inventories online. I found a few vehicles that really interested me but the car reports always had something sketchy that just didn't sit right with us. My brother in law has been a mechanic for almost 18 years and I reached out to him to help us find something. He said a customer of his always raved about a dealership in linden because he had purchased all of his cars there. I easily found their website online. At first I was impressed by the dealership itself and their inventory. I made an appointment with a Manager Steve to stop by and look at 2 cars we really liked, one a car, the other an SUV. The service we received was fantastic and I was really happy with Greg (our salesman) he was very attentive and made sure he answered all of our questions. He took his time with us and was very professional. My wife was impressed with the car and the customer service and we decided to consult with my brother in law before purchasing. The Prestige auto group Staff were NOT at all pushy and gave us the time to look into finalizing our decision. We returned 2 days later and the car was still there. My brother in law thought it was a fantastic deal and we decided to go with it. We are very happy with our decision and very content that everything worked out perfectly. My granddaughter went online and did her research for the car that she wanted and located it at Prestige. She got the Infinity 2013 from them in July. She had it financed at the dealership and the process went well. I co-financed with her so she could get a better rate. In general, we were extremely pleased. It was our first experience with Prestige and didn't know what to expect, and overall, it went really well. It was my granddaughter's first car purchase, and it was a very good experience for her. Natan was our sales person. He answered all our questions and did not push us and gave us plenty of time because my granddaughter went over the car with a fine-toothed comb. She really did her homework which was great and Natan understood. She looked at two vehicles and he was very willing to have the other one brought up over where it would be for her to look at it also. He could not have been more helpful. If we'll go back to get another one, at any time, we will try to set up an appointment with him. In fact, I spoke with him a couple of months ago when my grandson was here and looking for a vehicle. Really clean used cars at this place. The office is kind of small but they have a large inventory. I went to a place down the road and the salesman was very unpleasant. My husband suggested this place since it was close by. A young man named Dominic greeted us on the lot and we told him we needed something with all-wheel drive and not too bad on gas. He showed us a few vehicles and we liked a 2015 CRV. I had a Honda civic in college and it was the most reliable car I had. So I hope this CRV will also last us a while. Very happy with condition of vehicle and service. When doing contract, I asked Greg if we could tell me how long it would take because we were hungry. Guys, I do not know who posts those good reviews but these guys are scammers, the hidden additional fees are the start, they will speak Russian behind your back and in front of you(with another salesmen), indicating dishonesty. They sell high end cars yet they don't have any people in service capable fixing these cars due to not having any equipment, my GL450 had to be sent out someplace else, and I had to wait days to find out if my car is fixed(wasn't) and nobody would call me with updates. There is no service department there, no service advisor, the place is run by uneducated "idiots with money", they have no clue how to run a dealership, but then again why should I call that place a dealership in the first place, lol. read more

I worked with Haneef, who I worked with on my first purchase 9 years ago, and he went out of his way to please me and make the experience great. They gave me exactly what I wanted for my trade in without any negotiation. I was looking for a used X5 for my wife and saw a really clean 2012 on their website. We made an appointment and took it for a test drive and my wife loved it.. The place is a little small but I was treated well overall by everyone there. I financed through them to get a batter price and I also got a very competitive rate. They have many clean luxury cars on their lot and they also take in trade ins. I decided to keep my wife's car for my youngest son but they offer me something for it initially.
