A long overdue 5* review for Prestige Flooring. As other commenters have said Patty and Jeff are the best and their employees who laid our new porcelain tile were excellent - professional, clean and a great eye toward the overall look of the job. Jeff came out regularly to make sure everything was going smoothly - they laid over 3000 sq ft of tile so quite a big job but it came out beautifully and we couldn't be more pleased - AND it was reasonably priced. We had another contractor as this was part of a much larger project, who was going to charge us $1000 less - WITHOUT material, so can't say enough positive about Prestige Flooring. This company is not professional. They false advertise. Once they get to your home they tell you if you need a shampoo it's extra. If you need a deep cleaning its extra. I wanted a regular carpet cleaning but was told that does not include any cleaning solution that would be extra. Be sure to ask what all is Intel when you book a appointment. Went in to replace bedroom carpeting, and found a number of options. We decided on a line that was resistant to everything. We selected our color at our own leisure, and were set up for installation the next week. We planned the bedroom carpeting installation to happen during a major home renovation, and the Prestige crew was able to work around all of the work and get the job done in the promised timeframe. My son infinitely prefers the soft, thick pile carpet they installed over the bare tile floors we had previously. Highly recommend for carpeting! read more

I'm new to the area and happy to have Prestige on my short list of great local vendors. Update: My first review was written after the sales process with Patty at Prestige. Now I must rave about the installation process with Jeff: Given I'm doing this floor installation from 100 miles away, Jeff helped choose the grout color. Upon his inspection after the kitchen was grouted, Jeff reached out to tell me he wasn't happy with the grout color. He had the grout removed and awaits my arrival to move forward. THIS my Yelp friends is A-One, top notch, excellent customer service. Oh! But there's more!! Another update: The trusting fool I am, I ordered my carpets through Home Depot long before I discovered Prestige. Carpet install was supposed to be yesterday. I say "supposed" because: - The padding delivered was thinner than a wet t-shirt - The installation guys didn't point out the padding would still leave a concrete feel beneath the carpet - The installers walked all over the brand new PURE WHITE carpet in their work boots - The Home Depot installers didn't care that the carpet was 1/8" below the tile flooring edge (due to thin padding) - AND! One roll of carpet had a giant stain it's entire length from sitting in a muddy puddle. W. T. F. !?!?! Here come Jeff and Patty from Prestige Flooring to the rescue!! I cancelled everything with Home Depot and started from scratch with Prestige. Jeff ran right over to measure and Patty is doing her darnedest to get the carpet delivered and installed before move-in day in ten days!! The following review is my opinion of my recent (September 2022) experience with Prestige Flooring Center. 1. During the flooring installation the installers damaged my walls. They used leveling compound andtrim paint to try and repair in some areas. Other areas were left damaged. See photos below. 2. Instead of putting my furniture in a covered carport ( less than 10 feet away) they stacked it up outside and uncovered from Friday until the following Monday. When I asked them to cover the furniture with a tarp they placed a clear plastic garbage bag on a few pieces. I have bird droppings on a chair that was left outside. See Photo Below. 3.While moving the bed in the guest room they damaged the bed and refused to take any responsibility. See photo below 4. When I informed them of the issues I was having they refused to take any responsibility for their employees actions. 5. My home and furniture were filthy and covered in dust from being outside and then left uncovered while the leveling compound was sanded. They did agree to clean the mess but only after I complained. In my opinion it is not my job to clean up after their employees. In my opinion the owners had no interest in addressing any of my concerns. Their only concern was getting payment. In my opinion I would never under any circumstances use this company again. This review is my opinion of my experience with this company. read more

Awesome from order to delivery. Patty and her gorgeous Golden made us so comfortable during the selection process, delivery was on time. The installation crew was professional, not a scuff mark on any wall; the guys even offered to help move our furniture back in! And Patty called during the installation to ask how things were going. From the moment I walked in and Diane began to help me I knew I was in a safe place. I visited often with my samples and they were patient as I learned all I wanted to know about carpet and tile. After I (finally) placed my order, they completed the work in a professional, friendly and organized manner. Prestige cleaned my area rugs and they have never looked so good....not even when they were brand new! I've got a 20' long runner in my hallway and I don't even want to walk on it, it looks so good. My daughter is a wheelchair user and so naturally it gets pretty dirty. I honestly can not believe how good my rug looks this morning! Tyrone, their main carpet cleaner, has been with them for as long as I can remember, likely over 20 years. I think he must be a magician--my carpet looks that good! read more

Great family owned business that stopped and dropped to meet my immediate need right after I was poorly treated by another tile company around the block from them. Within the hour of calling them and stopping into their showroom they researched, priced out, gave me honest pricing options, and got my tile ordered to get it on time to complete my project. We contacted Prestige to repair the mess a local "carpet cleaner" did to our white carpets. Tyrone ( a really super guy) arrived and did a lot of explaining as to what he was going to do. He also found several tack strips that were not installed correctly and he fixed them as well as re-stretched the carpet. I had to install a phone recorder on my phone because of this company. I hired this company to handle my flood damage in La Quinta. I'm out of state and had to hire this company over the phone. In my initial conversation I was assured by the owner, Ms. Jordan, that they would keep the costs to 5K and try hard to get it done for even less. Imagine my surprise when the invoice came in at over 8K!! I immediately called to find out what's going on and Ms. Jordan said that she never promised that she would limit the costs to 5K, which is not how I perceived our conversation. I asked her why she at least never called me to tell me that things were getting beyond my 5K cap and she told me that she was too busy with 12 other projects. I can understand that they were busy since the rain flooded a lot of homes in the area, but I felt that I still should have been informed that my 5K cap was coming in at more than 60% over budget! I was also never sent pictures of the damage as promised or updated daily as promised. My conversations with Ms. Jordan got increasingly weird as I would specify something and she would do the opposite and then claim that I never said that...hence the phone recorder. The last straw was when I told her not to run the credit card until I got down there to do a visual inspection of the work. Which I would do in a few days. She must have immediately ran my card after I got off the phone because I got the email within the hour. I called her and she denied I ever said not to run the card. I asked her to reverse the charge for a few days until I could get down there and she hung up on my. Here is a list of some of the egregious fees charged for the work Prestige did: BTW the house is only 1300 square feet. Baths, Kitchen and hall are tile. $1,405.00 to remove the old carpet and pad! $780.00 2 large humidifiers for 3 days $1800.00 16 airmovers for 3 days These are just some of the jaw dropping fees charged on the invoice. They also charged me by the lineal foot to remove baseboard and toe kick. Incredible! Oh, and by the way they provided an estimate to repair the damage which came in at just under 15 thousand dollars!!! Their estimate to replace the low end carpet alone was $3200. Twice what Home Depot charged to install it just a year and a half ago. I had similar flood damage just a year and half ago and another company charged $9800 for everything...water abatement and restoration...not the $22,000.00 this company was hoping to get. We used Prestige flooring to replace our bedroom carpets and to clean and regrout a large area of porcelain tile in the living areas. We could not have been more pleased with Prestige's professionalism and service. They were prompt, courteous, and dependable. Their work is spotless - they clean up beautifully. We want to especially commend Prestige for their work on our porcelain tile. The poor quality of the initial installation caused problems repairing the grout. Prestige reworked the grout multiple times to solve the problems and were totally committed to the best possible work. Jeff came over numerous times to check on the work. They even stood behind their initial pricing quote despite the extra time and labor. This speaks to their commitment to their customers. I cannot say enough good things about this company. We bought a new home that had laminate flooring in the common areas. We got a quote from Prestige to finish off the rest of the house. We got another quote that was much lower and Prestige matched it. After we gave them the deal they started shipping in the flooring right away. I noticed it must have been from the same lot as the original flooring as it looked exactly the same. They installed all that flooring in a very short amount of time. The job was so professional that nobody can tell where the original flooring ends and where the new begins. They had it lined up so well that in once case it went around a long barrier and was joined up with existing flooring through a doorway; no need for a transition strip. They did a color match of the quarter round and installed that perfectly as well. This was one of the few times we went with a contractor without a recommendation--we gambled and won! read more
