I have been coming here once a week for about six months now. I started coming here after another dry cleaner lost an item. It's a bit out of my way - but well worth it. The staff is very friendly and polite. The clothes are always nicely cleaned and pressed. Another reviewer said their clothes smelled (?) -- I have never had that problem. Some dry cleaners have a way of breaking the buttons on men's shirts - that has not happened here.. The clothes have always been ready on time. I had some small alterations done once and the alterations lady did a nice job. I highly recommend this place. read more

I had a similar experience as vanuhi b below. I had been a customer but when they broke a specialty button (it was like a snap) on a designer shirt, they admitted they did it. However they blamed the manufacturer. The owner contacted the manufacturer but of course it was not their fault (all the other snap/buttons are fine). I was very disappointed to get the runaround, the owner never got back to me with any conclusion, I had to call the manufacturer to find out that no one was going to make good on this. They even charged me for the other parts of my dry cleaning order. Dry cleaners are supposed to have insurance to cover their mistakes like this. I am out a $90 shirt. This is not the way to run a dry cleaning business. read more

I have been coming here for years. I like the staff and never had any issues. I love the seamstress here. She is very sweet and highly qualified. I believe she alters wedding dresses in another location. I also appreciate the changing area she has. It's clean and very private. read more

Very disappointed. I gave this place a try because I live nearby, big mistake. I dropped off 2 pairs of jeans a black pair and a very dark denim, along with slacks that needed a new zipper. The jeans were new and belong to my boyfriend they are his work clothes. I decided to dry clean them because I hate how when I wash them they lose all their color. When I got them back I was pissed, the black ones were dry cleaned but the jeans were obviously not, they had been thrown into the washing machine and obviously washed in water. I used to work at a dry cleaner myself so I know. The zipper was so sloppy, there was strings hanging out everywhere and the stitching was not straight. Wtf? I could have done better. We paid $21 with a 25% discount. Geez how much does it cost? My bf picked up the clothes but I called to let them know what had happend and a guy answered saying he was the owner. All he said was that he wouldn't charge me next time! What? How about a refund for making my boyfriends new jeans look old? I will not be going back and every day when I drive by I get bothered. He said I should specify that I want the jeans dry cleaned! Excuse me? what am I doing at a dry cleaner? The least he could have done is give me a refund but no he just said next time they wouldn't charge me. He also mentioned that this doesn't happen at his cleaners but it did and I am very un happy that now I have to go out and buy him a new pair of jeans when I had just done that and now I have another pair of jeans to add to the faded collection. I could have washed them better alone in cold water inside out and would have gotten a better result. Also they were wrinkled in all the places where there is creases like on the bottoms where the jean meets his shoes and at the pockets, not to mention all the white lines that are there now. Save yourself grief and do not go here, or if you do specify that you want the clothes dry cleaned and not thrown into the washing machine. read more

Not sure why i keep coming here. It takes them forever to complete anything. The girls at the counter are nice, never had a problem with them.. the dry cleaning smells like old laundry... its a horrible smell for something I'm paying to get cleaned. Also i had sometime get repaired and they never even repaired it not to mention it was lost so i had to hunt for it with the lady.. again.. never had bad service but the smell of my clothes are YUK... read more

Worst customer service ever!!!!! So I live right next to presto cleaners so it's really convenient for me and I decided to take my items to them to clean. 1st time I took a white dress that had a stain on it and they said they will be able to remove it come back Thursday will have the dress ready since I had a party on Friday. I go in Thursday to pick up my dress and I open to look if the stains are removed and the stains is still there. So if I didn't check they weren't even going to show it to me, then the girl comes she tells me that the dress won't be ready till Saturday, so I had to go buy a new dress because they couldn't do their job right!!!!! So I decided to go the Second time again since it next to my house. I took a dress which was 2 days ago, she looked at the dress she said it will be 11 dollars I go pick up my dress today from Amanda that's doesn't have any CUSTOMER SERVICE AT ALL told me almost double the amount that I have to pay and there is nothing she can do about it!!! She was rude raised her voice at me and would roll her eyes at me infront of other customers as well. I asked her to give me her name she wouldn't at first than I asked for the owners name she was still ignoring me and than she finally told me her name is Amanda not even sure that's here real name. I would use this place often but I don't think I will anymore.They used to be great at getting rid of coverup, food, wine, pen, etc. . I had given them a white blouse that had a bit of a cover up mark on the neck line and when I got it back it was like it hadn't even been touched. The mark was still on it and not even slightly faded away. After that I had a top that had coffee spill on another white shirt I was wearing so right away I took it to them to get it clean before I do anymore damage. I got the blouse back the following week and I'm pretty frustrated. I received it with faded pinkish spot on it and not only that they decided that it was okay to cut my clouse or cause a whole in it and sew it up. They didn't even bother to call me and let me know what they were doing or even tell me when I went to pay for the services. I don't trust taking my clothes there anymore after two bad experiences after another. Shame they were doing so well before. read more

Well, I am very picky person when it comes to my clothes. This place at frist gave me a scare because of how big of a place they are. But once I got my clothes back i couldnt be happier with the way they cleaned my clothes. The girl that helped me was very nice and courtious. read more

I've been coming here for 1 month now since I moved into the neighborhood and have been extremely happy with their service.

I don't usually go to the dry cleaners, my husband does and he is very particular about his shirts. He has not been to happy with the other place he usually goes to so he asked me to find a new place, so I decided to try Presto Cleaners. The place was buzzing, it is amazing to me how organized the staff was in dealing with a large volume of people, at least at the time that I was there which was around 5:30-6:30 p.m. for drop off and pick up. The people there were efficient and nice. The shirts were clean and pressed nicely and my husband was happy with his shirts, so I think when he needs them cleaned again he will give them another shot. read more

I wrote a review a couple of years ago commending Presto Cleaners for great service. Sadly I have to change that. My dress pants came back a few months ago with the hem undone. It was annoying but I was able to fix it myself. Last week I was about to wear my sweater that was just dry cleaned and to my horror I saw a hole, about an inch diameter, right smack in the front. I took it to the store this week and they said that it must have been a preexisting hole that got enlarged in the dry cleaning process. I just read some past reviews and noticed that some other people had the same problem and was told the exact same thing. Needless to say, I am not going to have more clothes ruined by them. I am going to look for another dry cleaner. read more

Reasonable prices. They do an amazing job and fulfill any request I've ever had. Owner is personable, you are treated like a million bucks when you come here. Coffee for all patrons, amazing cleanliness and every ridiculous request is addressed. I am a difficult dry cleaning customer; want things starched a certain way, no plastic, things put on my hangers, do not like certain folds, etc. Presto Cleaners is the only dry-cleaners to ever get it right. And at a bargain! There is a reason I drive to Glendale once a week from Studio City to pick up my clothes. read more

I've been to so many dry cleaners across the several places I've lived. It's more often than not that other cleaners somehow damage the clothing or break buttons. I have NEVER had even the slightest problem with Presto Cleaners! The owner, Greg, is nothing short of amazing! He's a very hard-working entrepreneur and has hired a dedicated and responsible staff. I guarantee that if you approach the owner nicely, he will bend over backwards to ensure that he gets your business again. read more

Make sure you ask for and check your receipt. This is now the third time in a row that the same employee has overcharged me for a simple shirt press. Previously she made up an excuse that they HAD to dry clean my shirts. Even though every time I drop off my shirts, I make sure to let them know I the shirts are clean and only need a press. Today I went in and my normally $11 bill was nearly $15. Not a big deal but when I asked about it, I was told the price was the same, $1.99 per shirt for a press. My receipt read different. When I explained that this was the third time this had happened, I was called a liar and I left. As I was driving home, the same employee went into the system to get my personal number, and call to tell at and harass me, for calling her on her BS. I only have issues when this specific employee helps me. All of a sudden a press takes 3 days instead of 1-2 even when I drop off first thing in the morning. Needless to say, the convenient location isn't worth it for me anymore. I could walk there in less than 5 min but will Joe drive elsewhere. Stay away and make the extra 2 min drive to the next location nearby. read more

Very rude, uncaring and unpleasant people. When I tried to park at the handicapped parking for a few minutes (of course, I have a placard) to take care of the business that I had nearby, they threatened to tow my car. The parking lot was empty and I had just recovered from a leg fracture and was still limping. The "nice" lady that works at Presto cleaners offered me to park at the crossing street that has a steep slope. She saw that I have hard time walking even on the straight street, not to say about the one that has a slope. Nevertheless, they had to keep their empty parking lot empty hoping that they will have it all fill up in one second. I wonder how many customers and how much profit they would lose if I refused to risk my recovering leg and move my car. Definitely, my health and leg is worth much more than their questionable business profits. However, I moved the car, because I was disgusted with these people's attitude. read more

I had a similar negative experience, as several other dissatisfied customers have noted. I had a stain which I pointed out to the clerk and there was no hole present. The pair came back with a hole in the middle of the stain. I was told repeatedly that the owner would contact me about the mishap. After a month or two, rest assured that NO ONE in management ever gets back to customers. The work staff is not empowered to correct situations like this, other than to pass-along the lame excuse that "the owner is a student and is very busy". Here are a couple of business school lessons: 1) disgruntled customers will tell 10 times the number of people about their experience than satisfied customers; and 2) it is far cheaper to keep existing customers happy than to acquire new customers. They have lost another customer for life and I advise others that care about their clothes to seek a more reputable and reliable dry cleaning service elsewhere. read more

I've also had a bad experience at this establishment. There isn't any good reason why an employee/owner should be rolling their eyes in front of a client. Not to mention, they do seem really racist towards Armenians here. You're in the wrong city if that's how you feel about Armenians, since we're probably the only ones who have kept you in business for this long in the first place. There should always be a level of courtesy and professionalism. This also happened to me and I will never give them my business again. There are so many dry cleaning facilities in Glendale where they are courteous, professional, won't change pricing on you at the very last minute and definitely won't lose one of your shirts and have you wait 10 minutes in order for them to locate it. They should definitely compensate a patron of their store if that happened. Michael S, who does sound like he might be the owner, should not make unnecessary comments about his clients. He should take what's being said as constructive criticism and not make excuses for his employees by blaming the consumer. I would give them a negative 5 star rating if I could, especially after reading Michael's comment. Shame on you!!! read more
