My wife and I received a coupon in the mail. We were expecting typical "fast food" quality and environment. This expectation couldn't have been further from the truth. The food was absolutely fantastic! First of all, it was served quickly. The portions were huge. The salad was extremely fresh, the pasta was served piping hot, and it all was unbelievably delicious. The restaurant is exceptionally clean. They had jazz music playing, and it was not loud, so we were able to talk. Also, the prices are very reasonable. Our plates were removed from the table promptly after we were finished with our meal. The icing on the cake was the fact that every employee was kind, friendly, courteous, and helpful. Love presto pasta! We've only used the drive thru so our rating is based solely on that. When I first moved here I was slightly sketched out at the idea of a drive thru italian restaurant, sure enough though the night arose when we were craving pasta but didn't wanna get all fancy & dine out. This place was an obvious choice. I have been here a number of times & the staff is always amazing, friendly, and well spoken! Never thought you'd hear those adjectives about a drive thru staff, huh? Seriously though they are fast & have never screwed up an order ever! Pricing is great for the amount you get, basically id say it'll run you about $10 a person generally. Food is amazing, there has yet to be one thing I've tried & didn't like. My all time favorite is the chicken piccata! So good! Heavy lemon sauce is to die for, I wouldn't say it's tradition at all but super tasty I can't get enough. I came to this location a couple days ago with my partner and we enjoyed our time here. It's a fairly big restaurant. You do get what you pay for, so it's not high end pasta. The workers were friendly, but there was a worker eating near the front of the line, so I'm not sure if she was on break or not. I've been eating at this location from time to time for several years now. It's a great place to get a very reliable inexpensive meal. You order from the counter and then they bring the food to your table, so no tipping is really needed. They have several inexpensive lunch specials Monday through Friday for only $7. Had a great dinner here tonight. My husband got the chicken piccata as recommended by a family member. I was so excited to be be able to order zoodles, with the meat sauce it was an excellent way to eat lighter and have a great dinner. My grandson got the kids fettuccine which was a generous portion. The food is really good, I just wish they would open one in Orange County where we live. The staff provide EXCELLENT customer service, they went back to ask the chef on an ingredient for me; and continued to be attentive to our table. We drive up on Saturdays for our grandson's baseball games. I know we will be eating here on many of those Saturdays. My husband and i want to support the businesses that support our community. Yesterday, i went through the drive thru and ordered two of the most popular dish. The employee said it was chicken Picatta. It was so yummy i came back today and ordered chicken Picatta again and soup/salad for my husband. My husband said it was the best tomato Bisque ever. Here's the best thing about Presto Pasta. The family is truly amazing. I watched the owners son, reach in his pocket, and pull out two $5 gift certificates and hand them to an elderly man. Went to get plain Fettuccine Alfredo and when I asked, I clearly stated that I wanted it plain with no broccoli or chicken and garlic knots. Once I got up the the window, a taller white guy with a buzzcut and arm sleeve of tattoos was very blunt and rude and continued to give me the wrong food even though he was the one to take me order and heard me say plain. Garlic knots were also in an inch deep layer of oil and completely soggy. When I saw their large, appealing menu, my friend and I decided to try out for the first time during our trip to Santa Barbara. We both ordered Cajun Penne with garlic bread, but I got shrimp, and he got chicken. It has really good flavors, but it is on the spicier side for me (my friend can handle it though lol). I like how the waitress poured the amount of Parmesan cheese that I would like to have on my dish, so service was great overall. I came in earlier today with my friend for lunch. I ordered the lunch pasta salad combo for $9.99 and got a drink which came out to about $11. The salad and pasta were both very decently sized one might even say share size depending on how much you eat as a person. The salad comes as a spring mix with carrots, cucumbers, and onions with either ranch or Caesar dressing. The pasta I got was the Cajun pasta with chicken. The pasta flavoring overall was quite good the chicken was okay, nothing I'd write home to mom about. If you're in cam and craving pasta for a low price this is the place! And because I'm lazy, i don't even bother going inside, I just go in the drive-thru. Say yes to the extra parmesan when they offer it so you can mix it in the alfredo. All combos include soup or salad, garlic bread, and beverage. Overall, the pasta dishes and garlic bread are average. Nothing special, but not bad. They do the job if you're carb-loading. SOUP: Always opt for the TOMATO BISQUE when you get a combo. This is my favorite item here. It is creamy with chunks of tomato and onions, and has the perfect balance of tartness and sweetness. Also comes with a few croutons that are buttery-rich with a tasty garlic flavor. I would come here to just order a bowl of this soup, it is delicious! FRIED ARTICHOKE HEARTS: 6 pieces for only $1.99! Comes with sides of ranch dressing and marinara sauce. BEVERAGES: What is wrong with their drinks? Their sodas always taste "off" or "funny" as if the ice or water is made using tap water. Food was pretty decent. Although I could make spaghetti at home, I liked the convenience and variety. The sauce was tasty. And the side of garlic bread was delish. Perfectly toasty on one side and soft and spongy on the other. Garlic knots came baked and toasted and placed in a bowl with olive oil and parmesan cheese to top it off. They were crispy on the outside and soft and chewy inside. Kids pizza was a good portion, came with a drink and a token. I wish there was something like Presto Pasta in North SD County. I love the ease of satisfying the need for Alfredo sauce by ordering food here. The quality, ease, and tastiness make it a great any time of the week take out. Oh, and its wallet-friendly! The alfredo recipe hasn't changed and that makes me happy. Food is great but they are so slow. I went in today and got into drive thru line at 6:32. I just so happened to get a call at that exact moment that I turned to go into drive thru. Came to have dinner to celebrate my kids graduation. Usually the food is really good, today however was horrible. I ordered the chicken alfredo with brocolli. The brocolli was not cook it was rubbery and on the hard side. The chicken must have been over cooked because it Was also rubbery.the entree as a whole had zero flavor we paid $108 . Where can you go to get good, quality food that has a DRIVE-THRU? This place right here... and oh boy, it's goooood!! Since they remodeled, Presto Pasta has really stepped up there game offering delicious create your own pasta dishes along with pizza and classic Italian dishes at low prices. Their regular sized create your own pasta dish is only $7! There are a plethora of add-ins such as chicken or shrimp (+$3) for reasonable prices as well. Wondering what to order?? Although I do usually order the create your own pasta dish with cheese tortellini (+$1.50) and carbonara sauce (which is so yummy), last night I decided to try something new and got the Cajun Chicken Pasta ($10). It was phenomenal! Chicken was cajun spiced grilled white meat chicken breast (a must for me) with red onions, green peppers, and penne pasta shellacked in velvety cajun cream sauce. It's definitely something I would order again. My son got one of our faves...Chicken Parmesan ($10) bc the breaded chicken is always so flavorful not to mention the portion is HUGE!! And lastly we got an order a Mozzarella Marinara which is breaded planks of mozzarella instead of little sticks. There are only 3 planks per order but for only $4, the cheesy goodness is worth it by far. All 3 quality dishes cost just over $25...not too shabby if you ask me. The only downside to this restaurant is sometimes the drive-thru can take forever...like last night was 22 minutes forever. HOWEVER, when we did finally get to the window the super polite cashier handed us $5 presto pasta bucks to use on our next order...now that's good customer service for you. I eat at the Presto Pasta in Ventura all the time so I was excited to finally get to try the Camarillo location. High hopes... Totally impressed!! Its about double the size of the Ventura location, right off the freeway in Cam...they have the same menu and friendly service that I have always gotten at the Ventura spot. Like usual I got the cheese ravioli with Alfredo sauce (extra sauce) and my eating buddy got the chicken Marsala...both were totally yummy and tasty! The guy who brought us our food was a little new but he was nice and friendly, just like someone who is learning the ropes should be. Presto Pasta has fast become my favorite local restaurant when I want something fast and something that will fill me up and keep me happy. It's been a while since I had Presto Pasta but I remember it being really good when I was a teenager. Now that I'm grown and sexy, I see that the food here is just meh. I had the spicy marinara spaghetti which was definitely spicy but not the best I ever had. The food here is kinda salty and not as tasty as I thought it was from my younger days lol But I have to give them props because the restaurant is nicely decorated with vivid colors and the food is brought to the customers with metal utensils and napkins, which makes me feel kinda fancy lol. 3 and a half stars. Presto Pasta, like everyone else stated, is a great place to get your Italian fix if you're on the run. Whether you go through their drive-thru or eat in, your food is delivered quick and fresh. I do have my usuals for this place: Chicken Parmigiana with Fettuccine Alfredo (or Angel Hair Marinara Cream). Two cuts of chicken breast, crispy on the outside, and meaty on the inside, this is a great bang for your buck. Many of their other chicken dishes consists of cubed chicken breast which is almost like a slap in the face, but this comes out appetizing. If you order the Alfredo, it may come out a bit oily and heavier than you're used to, but come on, it's Alfredo. Just prepare to wash it down with a drink. For today I had another entree in mind: Angel Hair Marinara Cream with Meatballs. Instead, I switched it to a Tortellini Pesto; none of what I originally had in mind made the cut. (Yeah, I'm spontaneous like that). It was actually pretty good, gives me something to think about that doesn't include diced chicken in their dish. I really love this place :) This is the first fast food pasta place I have ever seen in my life (that I can remember anyway). The food is ordered just like it would be at a fast food restaurant, except they bring it to your table. They also offer your freshly grated parmesan cheese (it's yummy). They also clean the table for you! I usually get the fettucini alfredo, and though it could be interpreted as too bland, I really enjoy it, especially with the freshly grated parmesan. I feel like I'm just listing a bunch of random things I like bout this place, but it's only because I really enjoy it. Considering the fast-food nature if this place, I was blown away by the quality and flavor of the food. You order your food at a counter, but it's delivered to your table with the option of freshly grated parmesan from your server. It came out hot and well-presented. My garden salad and ravioli in marinara cream sauce were both great. Everything tasted well-seasoned and fresh. If I lived anywhere near here I'd frequent it often.
