Considering the fast-food nature if this place, I was blown away by the quality and flavor of the food. You order your food at a counter, but it's delivered to your table with the option of freshly grated parmesan from your server. It came out hot and well-presented. My garden salad and ravioli in marinara cream sauce were both great. Everything tasted well-seasoned and fresh. If I lived anywhere near here I'd frequent it often. On top of that, the staff was polite and all-smiles, the service we received was prompt. The dining room and bathrooms were clean and inviting. Outside is a well-groomed garden/alfresco dining space. Keep in mind that this is a fast food restaurant, it even has a drive-thru window. Given for what it is, it's been one of my favorite "quick fix" Italian restaurants. I wish the had something similar in Orange County. The prices are pretty restaurant, you'll be quite full with all the fixings for under $10. In fact I even prefer the pasta from this place over the likes of TGIFriday's, BJ's, Olive Garden, and similar mid-chain restaurants. I ordered the sampler combo (look at the picture). The garlic bread is great...soft yet with the right crispness, and lots of garlicky flavor. The pasta I always get is the chicken picatta, it has the right amount of acidity from the capers, it's delicious-able. Service is great, they bring you your food, clean your table after. I had about 9 medium-sized shrimp (yes, I counted them!) with the tails on. I don't get why they would leave the tails on in a pasta dish. Shrimp cocktail, yes. Pasta, never. Is it barbaric that I pick it up and pull the shrimp out? Oh, well, I'll be Carol the Barbarian then, with creamy Cajun sauce all over my fingers! Portion size was good for $8, but they only give you a half slice of garlic toast. (In my best barbarian voice) NEED MORE BREAD! Service was 4 stars. Very friendly and welcoming. Was driving by and saw this place. Have been to 2 others in different locations. All very good! This one is up to par and better! An establishment like this having a drive-Thru is monumental! The other 2 locations I visited didn't have the drive thru. Not that it's their fault. Too bad I live so far from here. I've been eye-ballin this place ever since I moved to SoCal nearly a year ago. If I ever felt sick and needed to eat something that would "clean out my system," drive-thru pasta sounded like the perfect candidate. However I was sad to hear from some friends I met, who ironically had worked at a Presto Pasta in the past, that it was actually quality pasta at an affordable price. On the other hand, I met some other friends who were pretty critical of Presto Pasta, saying that it was hot garbage. I was skeptical of my new found 'friends'. 9 months later, I mustered up the courage to finally try it out. I mean... I haven't had the runs in quite a while so what's the worst that could happen? I ordered the Cajun Chicken Penne and said a prayer. The drive-thru service was pretty quick which, I admit, made me a little uneasy. Was saving a few minutes in the drive-thru line worth the risk of possible salmonella? As a cheap Asian person: Challenge accepted. My friend and I ended up running some errands after (By running errands, I mean going to the local McDonalds to load up on Filet-O-Fishes on Filet-O-Fish Fridays because, if you haven't gotten the vibe from my reviews yet, I'm a glutton for punishment) so I was a little bit worried that the pasta wouldn't be hot by the time I get home. Wow. I wish they had locations in orange county! Went for a weekend trip to Santa Barbara and on the way back.from camarillo outlets, stopped by to grab dinner before heading home on valentine's day. For something I would consider "fast food," it was my first experience with an employee who didn't look like they hated their job. I ordered the Cajun chicken penne with a salad. The girl who brought it out to me was just as pleasant and polite. The food was AMAZING. I was disappointed that I hadn't started eating here sooner. As I neared the end of my meal, one of the bus boys cleaning tables walked by and asked me if I wanted to-go boxes. Not wanting to waste any of this delicious food, of course I did! I have frequent this place for years due to the great food, kind, caring, happy Staff. Today was so different. Went through drive thru for order. We parked in the lot to get settled. Discovered there was no knife, nor napkins. Since we didn't have masks available we went straight to the drive up window and kindly asked for a knife to cut the large pieces of salad. My Fiance got royally chewed out by the girl at the window and included in her words were "next time you have to come inside, not to the window." Excuse me but if she would have ensured that a knife was placed in the bag there would have been no reason for him to be at the window. In the past they always provide Fork, Knife and Napkins.
