I recently just got home from Presto Pasta and took a look at my orders that I have ordered. My spaghetti and meatballs or three but my lasagna with meat sauce look terrible. The top noodle was hard and there was more sauce than lasagna for $12. Never got a piece of lasagna like this before I think I will stick to other things on the menu. I would've NEVER expected such flavor out of a fast food pasta establishment. My daughter Bailey is a HUGE fan of alfredo sauce and she definitely got her tummy filled here. She's also the rare child that loves vegetables especially broccoli. She had the chicken alfredo and loved it. Got a great kids menu-- my little guy usually goes penne with butter and parm-- that comes with a drink, a cookie and a token to put in a little machine that spits out tiny lil dollar store prizes. Presto is like a Chipotle but for pasta. A few different offerings of classic pasta types, sauces, & toppings and then you can just customize it to your liking. That allows for them to offer a very diverse menu in the end. And with 2 picky kids, that's appreciated. We came here for a fundraiser so the location was a bit busier than usual. However, we were still able to quickly order and had no problem finding a booth for all 4 in our party to sit. The food came out shortly afterwards hot & fresh. I found my blackened chicken pasta to be way more flavorful than I had anticipated it to be. I really liked it. My kids gobbled up their standard spaghetti & meatballs. Even with it being on the kids meal, there was plenty of leftovers between the two of them after they ate their fill that we had a full meal for leftovers. I always love when that happens. My wife said her fettuccini was fine, but nothing amazing. With that said, she still had no complaints. She wasn't expecting life changing pasta from a fast casual place. I ordered the Meatball Sub & Cajun Chicken Penne! I thought the meatball Sub was going to be bigger and I wished that they had given me more marinara sauce to pour over my Meatball Sub but the taste and softness of the Meatball Sub made up for all of that! It's only 10$ and this might be the very best Meatball Sub Sandwich I have ever eaten, I'm not even going to lie! It took me about 4 minutes to devour that 6 inch Sub! It was very crowded with people eating inside the restaurant and also waiting for orders to be picked up. The staff was extremely busy and they were working hard to take phone calls, serve patrons at tables, fill pick up orders, etc. While we waited, a very rude-extremely loud man came in yelling and complaining that he got the wrong order and he put the bag on the counter and demanded to see the manager, who was working helping at the counter, Th manager kept his calm and gave the his man money back. My go to spot for fast food pasta. During lunch break the team and I would come to Presto Pasta to have our carb fix. Choosing from their lunch menu I always enjoyed their pasta + salad option. While the team loved the Cajun chicken pene I always wanted to try different items such as their Lasagna, Shrimp picatta, shrimp parmagina, shrimp scampi. (I must have liked shrimp) All the way down to their pizza and half subs. I did notice the food started to taste different after a year has pasted. I am been going to Presto Pasta for years. Before the Granada Hills location, I would go to the Ventura location. The food is delicious and I love the pick your pasta. Yes, due to inflation etc. the portions are a bit smaller, but still delicious. I love their customer service. Always greeting people with a smile and the food comes out fast and hot. I had a few issues (in the hundreds of orders I've had) whereby Presto Pasta will forget an item to my order. For example, they forgot sausage in my pasta. I called when I got home and the manager asked if I would come back so that they will fix it. After getting home, there was no way to drive back. The manager said they will make it up to me. A few days later, I received Presto Pasta dollars to use for my next visit. Fantastic service, fantastic management, fantastic food. This restaurant is one of best bargain Italian restaurants in the SFV. I have not had a dish I didn't like. All the food is fresh and flavorful. I'm very disappointed. I ordered some pastas, one with chicken and another one with shrimp. I ordered the shrimp WELL DONE. The cashier was nice and said of course that could be done. Then I get the food get home and see some raw looking shrimp. They are also very tiny shrimp. I had to actually take out the shrimp at home and cook it more for my wife. I will post a photo of the shrimp that were not WELL DONE. That's not difficult to do. Very very disappointed. Also the chocolate mil that they initially gave me for my daughter was past due. What a horrible dining experience. I placed my order online and asked for olives on my bbq chicken pizza. I never received anything and I was charged the additional amount. Also ordered were the garlic knots. What is pictured on their website is nothing what they look like when I opened the container. They were swimming in oil and butter and completely un edible.
