Added comment: Do yourself a favor and have a look at the recent "not recommended reviews" because they will also substantiate mine and they mention the same type of poor customer service as what I received yesterday. I used to recommend this establishment to everyone I knew. I've spent thousands of dollars here since they opened DAY ONE and passed out hundreds of menus and coupons FOR THIS ESTABLISHMENT BUT not now and never again. Now they have insensitive childish and immature Employees making comments about the appearance of their customers (because I was wearing a mask and gloves as I have a compromised immune system) and trying to cover it up by denying it was said the way it was said and corporate management is believing his story and saying that l took it the wrong way. Due to the fact that I was already so upset; I made a personal comment back at him which I already have acknowledged I shouldn't have done but it was done as an example so he would see how that might feel. The way this kid was snarky and smirky commenting that "oh ....you look prepared" in a snide smirky manner like it was funny and like I was being paranoid for wearing them when there are many people wearing masks and gloves everywhere all over the place! (Just not in their store). I was happy and excited to be picking up my birthday dinner until then. I asked what do you mean. He just kind of smirked and back peddled and didn't show a modicum of sensitivity. I left a message for corporate and they are backing him up and now don't want me in the store. What a joke. These people have no heart for someone recovering from cancer with a compromised immune system trying to protect themselves from the corona virus. None of the staff were wearing masks or gloves. Good luck I wouldn't be surprised if they all catch the virus. Like the kids partying in Clearwater "not caring" if they get or spread the virus. The staff here used to be professional. Now they just don't care and are rude. I couldn't bring myself to even eat the meal and had a frozen meal for my 51st birthday dinner no refund unless we are there. I don't think they REALLY would have wanted me to come back there. What a shame. Food was going downhill anyway. I'll be happy to give someone else my hard earned money. Their corporate guy was useless focusing on what I said even though I admitted it was unnecessary and I apologized for it several times that yes that was wrong of me to say back to the kid however that didn't matter to the management who ended up hanging up on me. It's very very rare that I am so upset to feel so hurt like this that I would have made such a return comment but despite my apology this "better than you" elitist attitude was very disappointing. I feel discriminated against and all I have left to say is go there at your own risk. But you'll be supporting judgemental bullying employees and owners. I'm disappointed of the outcome on the Chicken Piccata plate. The chicken and pasta was submerged on a pool of the sauce and what it smells and taste like butter. I was unable to eat this even after I transferred it to another plate. Only reason why I gave it a three star- customer service was great when I picked up the items and the other 2 plates I order were good according to my family. Set up: you pick the pasta, then the sauce and what you want in your pasta. Pesto sauce: no good. Alfredo sauce: also no good. Carbonara sauce: ah, but this one was good. Garlic bread: A garlic bread comes with your order. But I suggest ordering an extra one. Their garlic bread is a little soggy. They offer a combo: pasta with drink and salad. The Caesar Salad that came with the combo was sizable. You can share it with someone. And it was good too. They serve wine. I ordered a Chardonnay and it was pretty good. Dessert: They have cookies and a brownie. I recommend the brownie. For all of the above, the cost came to only $47 before tip. They don't even add a tip line on the receipt. Maybe that's only in the westside. (But there's a tip jar.) Been coming here forever. Our family loves the food but after today we'll never go back. Horrible service by cashier (Tess) over CHEESE. I asked for extra cheese and she explained they upgraded thier cups so it's like two. First off, cups are bigger but there is NOT more cheese. Presto Pasta is fast casual done right! The Granada Hills location has plenty of parking and is right off Chatsworth St. next to the entrance of a plaza. FOOD: Garlic Knots: Really good. Each knot was baked perfectly, had a nice and soft texture, and easily soaked up the sauce's garlicky and buttery goodness. I'd order this again. Cajun Chicken Penne: Good. The pasta was cooked perfectly, while the sauce had a nice peppery kick to it. My only complaint about the sauce is how watery it was. Beyond that, however, I enjoyed this dish. There was a good amount of tender chicken, too, along with a slice of garlic bread on the side. Chicken Marsala: Good. Each order comes with two chicken breasts sauteed in marsala wine with mushrooms and alongside Fettucine Alfredo. It comes with a slice of garlic bread, too. Like the other orders, it was flavorful and plentiful. Meat Lasagna: Good. You get a pretty large slice with extra meat sauce on the side, which is not overly tangy. It's flavorful and comes with a slice of garlic bread on the side. Brownie and Cheesecake: Both are tasty and not overly sweet, but they are a tad pricey. The cheesecake sold here is actually from the Cheesecake Factory. As for the brownie, it's perfectly sweet but small for its price. The service at this location is fantastic! The staff, who look like high school students or college kids, went out of their way to make sure my parents and I were happy and enjoyed our food, and even took the time to freshly/manually grate parmesan over our dishes. We had a takeout. We tried chicken picatta, shrimp parmigiana, and shrimp picatta. For fast food Italian it was not bad at all. Portions were good size for the price. You kind of could make your own combination with choosing the pasta, protein, sauce, and how the protein is made (fried or grilled). I definitely recommend it and will be returning. Great for a quick lunch since they're fast, affordable, and they have a great selection. The salads here are great, and a small is enough as a starter for two people. I enjoyed the Eggplant Parmigiana, which had the right amount of sauce and cheese. However, while I would like to give them five stars for all mentioned above, when it came down to a common Italian food staple such as Fettuccine Alfredo, I was let down; the sauce was really bland and runny; there just wasn't that kick of flavor that I was expecting. It's more along the lines of the "Baja Fresh" of pasta, and it's quite good. It's certainly miles ahead of the Denny's-like fare that you get at Olive Garden and I can honestly say that I've never had a bad meal here. I've had numerous pasta dishes here as well as entree salads and they've all been good and the price is extremely fair. I am speechless!! I received impeccable customer service, and I am a very picky person. The manager and staff go above and beyond here!! The manager was prepared. My two small children love Sprite, and we're very sad to find out the Sprite soda was out of order. The manager quickly apologized for the inconvenience and handed each of my kids a can of Sprite. The manager was going from table to table to make sure everything was OK. He was very accommodating on several occasions. The whole restaurant, including the bathrooms, was very clean, and the manager himself was cleaning tables and emptying trash. The food was delicious and fairly priced. This is an amazing place if you just want a quick bite of Italian food for the price. I took my nephew and niece here for dinner. The place has plenty of parking, there a small parking lot near the place or you can park in the plaza lot if it's full since it's all in the same plaza. I got the pepperoni pizza while my nephew and niece got their pasta. For the kids, their meal comes with a cookie and drink. They are also given coins to get a toy from their machine. It didn't take long for our food to come out, it took like 10 minutes. The service we receive was amazing, they checked on us and made sure we had everything that we needed. My favorite part about the restrauant is that they have the fountain soda machine where you can add flavors to your soda. For my life I can't remember how I found out about this place, but I was craving pasta, so I decided to drive out of my way to get some at Presto. When I arrived, for some reason chicken piccata started to sound appealing to me, so I decided on that with spaghetti with meat sauce. I added the combo with drink and caesar salad, and one piece of garlic bread was included. Although I initially asked for my food to go, I ended up staying there to eat some of it. Garlic bread was really good and consumed too quickly. However, everything else was just okay. Certainly wasn't the worst I ever had, but for some reason, I was expecting different. I live too far, and I won't be in any rush to return, however if I do end up near another Presto, I would certainly be open to trying other items. I ordered on DoorDash and I got the chicken piccata with a spaghetti with meat sauce. I also got the fried artichokes. The fried artichokes were amazing and the meat sauce was really really good. Unfortunately, the chicken piccata tasted like straight wine, I've worked in Italian restaurants for six years and I understand that alcohol is used in many Italian dishes, but the actual alcohol is supposed to be cooked out in this was 100% not cooked long enough which is not OK at all. it genuinely tasted like hot wine with a little bit of butter. It was really gross .Also it had a light flour coating that got extremely soggy and made the texture weird, I had to throw away the chicken piccata. I did really enjoy the spaghetti, meat sauce and the artichokes so I will be ordering again just not the chicken piccata. The staff has really gone downhill... it took almost 25 minutes for our food to arrive at our table. When the server brought our plates he threw our silverware on the table and dropped the dishes in front of our faces. I'm not sure if he was purposely being rude or doesn't have any serving etiquette. Also, the girl that took our order at the cash register seemed clueless. Every time I asked a question, she would give me a blank stare and say "one sec", then turn around to her co-worker and ask them my question. The only server that had any manners was Andre!
