    Pedi

Bad pedicure. 20 minutes and bad polish job. $5 extra to take off gel so I guess it was a 15 minute pedi. I did ask for "no honey" in my basic pedi but they charged me the same.

My right heel the morning after my pedicure here.

What happened to me should NOT go unknown to the public. I came in for a simple pedicure, choose the Honey Pedicure for $35. After soaking and removing the old polish the tech pointed out that I had calluses (like many people) and if I wanted them removed it would cost $10 dollars more. I approved this reluctantly but knew I wanted to at least have my heels scrubbed with a pummice as it was a holiday weekend and I planned to be outside in sandals for Labor day. The tech went and got a plastic and metal grater that he then proceeded to shave my heels with. He was vigorous and rough with his pressure and as it began to feel tender and he stopped as he could see my wincing and flinching. He finished the pedicure in a hurried fashion, continuing to not say a word to me. Albeit my toes looked nice. I left a tip and went home. Waking up the next morning my heels were raw, red, swollen and tender. By the night of day two the raked skin of my heels had broken and cracked. I have NEVER had cracks in my heels EVER. I had to skip the NYS Fair with my friends because putting on shoes hurt and sandals were not an option because i had open wounds on my feet. I called the shop, asked to speak to management or the owner, the lady took my number and the owner Mark called me back within the hour. I explained my i was upset, injured and wanting at least a refund... though it had at minimum ruined my holiday weekend and left me with open wounds. He agreed so 45 minutes later I showed up to the shop for my refund and had to then face the man who did my pedicure and RE-EXPLAIN my issue. he looked through receipts and transaction history while talking in his language and laughing with others working there. I ultimately got my money back and spent the last two weeks trying to get my heels to heal. Today, two weeks after the incident I STILL CANNOT wear most of my shoes without fear of getting something in the open wounds/cracks (which still bleed on occasion)... or without being in pain. Not only are the grater paddles Illegal in most states the carelessness in which they were used was entirely unacceptable. I have no idea how, long I will have to deal with the cracks (which I had NEVER had before) and tenderness. DO NOT go here!!!!!! They don't care!!!!!

    Coffin powder dip

Went in as a walk in. They were very nice and did a beautiful job. I was so relaxed I totally fell asleep doing my nails! I will come again & the price is very reasonable.

Powder dip with extensions (with added charges for shaping and ombré design -$68)

I had stopped going to small walk-in type salons awhile ago due to rushed treatments and less than pleasant interactions and then over the summer a friend brought me to Pretty on Park for a pedicure and it was the best pedicure I'd ever had, it wasn't rushed, it was reasonably priced and I felt comfortable. I started going to get my powder dip with extensions and was hooked. Every time I've gotten my nails done they last for at least 3 weeks if not more. The "more professional" salon I had been going to charged way more, and the manicure barely lasted the guaranteed 2 weeks. I really enjoy getting my nails done at Pretty on Park, the staff take pride in their work. I'm glad I took the chance.

Day 2. Mediocre. Last mani here was much better.

Just ok. I have had various services here and sometimes the results are very good and sometimes mediocre at best....and it's not cheap.

The massage during the pedicure is unlike any other nail salon I've ever been to.

We called ahead, and they recommended making an appointment to be seen quickly. Everything went exactly as they said, and there was essentially no wait time when we arrived. The salon itself was very clean, peaceful, and relaxing. The chairs were especially comfortable, and the overall atmosphere made it easy to unwind. One small thing I would change is the TV placement. I think mounting the TVs behind the estheticians' chairs would make them easier for customers to watch during services. The staff was incredibly kind, accommodating, and attentive to detail throughout the entire appointment. Since I do not usually get my nails done often, I appreciated how helpful they were with color selection and decision-making. They made the whole experience feel comfortable and welcoming. It has now been over a week since my appointment, and my nails still look great, which says a lot about the quality of their work. The pricing was also very reasonable for the level of service received. Monroe Nails is definitely a spot I would return to, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing experience with friendly staff and quality nail services.

Ok I have NOT been to this location or at this business in like six years. They use to be over in…read morethe wedge on South. This place from what I can ascertain its appointment only. You do everything online including cancellation and etc. Don't both dm'ing them on social media to cancel it's ONLINE ONLY. You go online pick a date and see what dates are available and of course what services you want. You will put in your credit/debit card and they will take a deposit and the rest is paid after the service. When they check you out the remainder will be paid. They don't do cash payments. You are welcome to tip in cash but make sure you have exact change. I came here as the person I normally see I double booked myself and she had no appointments available anytime this month (June 2024) so I decided to try this place again. If you want a place to roll into I can recommend a place but most spots now want an appointment. They are on the first floor as I think other businesses are here as well. The inside is light and bright, light woods and comfortable seating. I was greeted and asked to wash my hands.. ok I did not get that as I was here for a pedicure.. so... Also I was offered a drink, water, coffee, wine a nice touch. Now the set up for the pedicure was nice but I wished I could have moved back the chair, I had a pillow behind me but I got rid of it but I was comfortable but it was just wonky. I'm tall and usually they will adjust how you sit. This is minor but if you're tall ask if the chair can be adjusted. My nail tech Maddy Elizabeth was lovely, friendly and efficient. I picked out a color they have a bunch and if you want a gel type it's an additional cost. I got a more souped up pedicure with warm stones and a mask. The execution of the pedicure was great but the additional stuff did not seem too luxurious. The clay mask she almost forgot about than she put on warm towels and use also used warm stones. This was a nice touch but maybe I expected a bit more for $75.00. Oh well that's just me... When you are done you go into the back room and you dry your feet/hands for a bit. My feet I had a fan to dry my feet, not a big deal but it was odd... I think most are use to a light source or someone uses a quick dry. I think since they are all about 7 to 11 free nail items. While I was waiting I was offered a glass of rose if I wanted. The check out was easy and they did ask if I wanted another appointment. I said no but thank you. I'll keep them in mind when I can't get in with my regular person. From what I understand they are opening another location in Monroe in Brighton. This location from what I was told will get a refresh. All in all it was a lovely experience and a great pedicure. They share a parking lot and they ha e specific spaces for the business a plus. 4.5 out of 5

Not only bad, but as bad as it gets. These photos are not weeks (or even days) after the…read moreappointment, they're from less than an hour later. Cracks, peeling, bubbles, chips, blood. When I asked for a refund (on the same day as service) my requests were ignored until several days later, and then denied. "We need to pay our employees a living wage." By screwing your customers? Not to mention the damage done to my cuticles, which were left peeling and bleeding. Apparently, this was somehow my fault, per the response I received from the salon. I don't know if every manicurist there is terrible or not (this was my first and last visit), but to call what I received a 'professional manicure' is an insult to actual professional manicurists. Don't take my word for it, the photos speak for themselves.
