I've gone to Pretty on Park twice and taken advantage of the $35 mani/pedi special. Both times I was pretty disappointed. The manicure chipped after about 4 days on my nails, and my cuticles were cut down too far and bled both times. The pedicure held up just fine, could've been more thorough, but just about what you'd expect for the prices. It's a shame that the deal isn't really worth it. I wouldn't go again. read more

This salon is located on Park Avenue in Rochester, cute little place. After a bad experience at another place, I was nervous as to where to get my eyebrows done! I heard of Pretty on Park and decided to give it a shot- best decision!! I got my eyebrows waxed, they're thorough and take their time. Afterwards they will make sure everything is symmetrical as well as touch ups with tweezers and cutting scissors. $10 for the service and mine are perfectly even with one another, I highly recommend going to Pretty on Park, just be sure to tell them how you'd like them. I had been going here since it first opened and had a great experience for the past 6 months. I tried to go in for a mani pedi three times this week and I've been turned down every time. I told them I have referred them to all my friends and they did not care whatsoever. After pitching a fit they finally took me because they are not busy at all. Even though they give a great mani/pedi their management is horrible and I don't think I can support this establishment anymore. read more

READ THIS before going to pretty on park. I have been coming here for some time and usually have only good things to say however that all changed tonight. I bought a Groupon to use as I have before. They have always been honored. Tonight after rendering my services the business said they will not accept it on Friday's or Saturday's. I contacted Groupon who said this was not true and refunded me my money. However two other girls had the same problem and they had initially been told they could use their Groupon. The people who work here refused to accept it despite Groupon telling them they needed to. They kept trying to charge the girls for their services and when asked said their was no manager. The girls kept trying to ask to speak to someone but the people who work here kept walking away and refusing to speak to them and just ignored them. Groupon is investigating them now for shady business practices. Don't use a Groupon here and ask what you're getting into before walking in the door! read more

Just ok. I have had various services here and sometimes the results are very good and sometimes mediocre at best....and it's not cheap.

My sister and I took our mom for a mani/pedi for her birthday. We called in the morning and set up an appointment for the same day for 6. They sat us and began right on time! I have been going to this salon for about a year. It was great every time I would get gel polish. I made the switch over to nail dip about 5 months ago. The staff is so friendly, unless you need your nails fixed. I have been getting my nails done for as long as I can remember, every 2-3 weeks so my nails are healthy. The last two times I have gotten nail dip they have started to lift from my nails after 1 week. When I came back the first time to get them fixed I felt like I was bothering everyone. They did not even redo my nails, the simple super glued the nail-dip polish to my real nail! I do not have fake nails. This super glue job lasted for about 2-3 days, and I had to keep re-gluing them until I could come back to get them completely redone for a charge ($35 for a new set and I always tip 30%). This time the woman who has first chair did my nails. She was nice and whatnot, but I noticed she did not use the nail-dip base, strictly color dip. But 1 week later they start doing the same thing. Each nail is lifted, causing my hair to get caught (everyone knows how awful this is). I go back and they do the same thing even though I asked for them to completely re-do them, and mentioned they skipped the base last time. I like this salon, its pretty and clean, but I need my nails to last. I am disappointed they could not fix my nails for me or did not think I was worth their time. It is not my fault this happened to my nails but it definitely seemed like I was the problem when I was there. So if you are a chronic polish chipper or have an issue with a service, do not expect to be treated as politely as you were when you were paying. read more

Wow, fabulous pedicure, courteous staff, clean facility! From beginning to end it was a very pleasant experience, best I've had in a while. They don't rush you through, the pedicure was fabulous and gel manicure as well. At the end you get a nice neck massage. I was very relaxed at the end and very pleased with the service! 10 stars! Went to Pretty on Park for the first time the day before leaving on vacation for a pedicure. Massage was nice and the shop was nice. However, I will not be returning to this salon again. It is absolutely ridiculous that my nail polish started chipping THE DAY AFTER I got them done. What am I paying for? When I paint them at home myself it lasts longer than this. Completely absurd that not even a full day goes by and my nails are entirely messed up. read more

I went for their special, a $35 basic mani & pedi. I asked for a gel manicure & regular pedicure, expecting to be charged the difference for the manicure but they either didn't understand or didn't care to mention it but I was charged $55 for the gel manicure & pedicure. More expensive than I expected & a little frustrating. I also made an appointment for 3:30 but I wasn't brought back until about 3:50- they were taking walk-ins when nearly every chair was occupied & they had appointments waiting. I had a book & it was a spa day so it wasn't a terrible inconvenience but it seems to happen a lot from previous reviews. Despite all of that, the quality is as good as it gets. Far superior to any mall gel manicure I've tried. The man I had was kind, thorough & made good conversation. They also use hot stones for a brief massage at the end of the pedicure, a thorough shoulder massage while your manicure dries & I'm not sure what gel they use, but it's simply the best. 2 weeks & they look great, beside my need for a fill; I've never been complimented on my nails before. And my toes are still popping too but I wear shoes most of the day for work, you don't get to see those as much. They're also next to great coffee & restaurants- easy to make a half or full spa day out of it, avoiding the weekend if you can. Despite the little inconveniences, I'll definitely be back! read more

Highly recommended for a pedicure. Probably one one the best I've had. Very reasonable at $25 and so many extra perks I've never had done anywhere else. Hot stones after the foot massage plus they wrap parrafin on your heels when they paint the toe nails and then when they bring you to the dryer they give you a shoulder and neck rub! I been coming here since they 1st opened and every time was awesome!! I have never had one issue with their services until yesterday. I made an appointment for two ppl at 5:30 on 8/21/17. I didn't recognize most of the faces working. I ended up getting a young tall guy who looked like he has never done a pedicure in his life. He took the clippers out and almost took my skin off so I asked him to use the file only bc i couldn't trust him with toenail clippers. He rubbed the hot stones on my skin with no oil.... he didn't massage my legs at all, he didn't offer a neck rub at the end like they ALWAYS do. My friend was disappointed in her weak leg rub by a small young girl working she also had to repaint her toes when she got home bc the polish was all over her skin.... I will never go back here ever again. I made sure to tell my sisters and cousins bc this place went to hell. The kid couldn't even file with confidence.... read more

I tried this place due to a Groupon deal. I now go there all the time! I was going to another place for years but have now switched and this is my go-to. I like it because it is very clean and relaxing. Nice facilities, music, and staff talks quietly. Other places I've gone the staff speaks very loudly to one another, which makes it less relaxing, not here! The staff is very professional. They have competitive prices and give more service than other places. You get a back massage while your manicure/pedicure is drying, no other nail place I've been to does that! I've never made an appointment, I just walk in and I'm always taken care of immediately. They usually have alot if people working. Even when it's busy, it doesn't seem it because it's such a large place. A few things to know before you go: cash tip only and parking available in the lot directly behind the building only (or street). There are alot if parking lots around the building, make sure you are in the right one or just park on the street. If you are in the wrong lot you might get towed. Last time I went they asked me where I parked as soon as I walked in. I appreciated them making sure I wasn't parked in the wrong spot. Thank you pretty on park! read more

I came here to get a full set just about two weeks ago . They looked ok and at first I didn't mind paying the $55 , they are close to my house and clean . I got them done in a Monday and by Friday the uv gel popped off of the fake nails on two nails . I wasn't very happy but I called and came back and they fixed them. I figured it was a fluke . Well I surely was wrong yesterday 4 out of 5 nails on the other hand either popped off or broke . I wasn't doing anything crazy just picking up things and grabbing my keys . Don't get me wrong I have broken nails before but it's usually not almost all on one hand like that or from grabbing something usually from slamming them in something . Now I'm not happy at all I wasted $55 on a full set that I will have to take off and go someplace else to get them redone and then pay again all with in 2 weeks . I will never go here again .
