My experience here was great! I had a mini lavender spa pedicure, gel manicure, and a back massage. All three services were done well and professionally. I knew what color I wanted so I didn't feel rushed - I actually asked him to swap my toe color after I picked my gel nail color and he was pleased to do so. If you are in a rush, you may not want to do all three together - they take their time, but I found it worth it. I had an appointment and was able to sit when I arrived. Parking out back is by permit so I parked on the street but expected that in this neighborhood so I didn't mind. I will be returning. read more

Called this location around 5 PM to ask them if they can do a removal of gel X nails. I was told that they could. I made it to the location although they were very nice, the person they had remove my nails was not nice when it came to actually removing them. While they did cut the nails down (which I didn't mind), and they did soak the gel polish off, (which was normal), when he used the e-file, there were several times when he was filing that it started to burn, which means either he's filing my actual nail plate down too low or it's too hot. Imagine my surprise when I get back to my hotel, my nail beds are red and pink. I cannot put them under any sort of water or soap. Everything hurts! I got my nails removed to get them redone and now I can't get them redone because my nail beds are too thin. They are so painful and I'm so angry! Was warned by a local not to come to this salon but I thought I would give it a shot because I was in the neighborhood. For a weekday afternoon, I was expecting a bit of a wait as a walk-in but not an HOUR only for a gel manicure. I asked instead if I could get a regular manicure and was pleased that they could take me right away. This was a bit surprising because in my experience gel does not take that much longer to do, but I felt fine about it. Unfortunately my tech rushed the whole service. He did not fully remove my old (regular) polish and painted over remaining spots of dark polish with my new color. He also missed clipping entire chunks of my cuticles which now look ragged. I actually had to stop myself from laughing out loud at the hand "massage" which consisted of pulling each finger once and then literally just smacking the top of my hand. The polish application was streaky and uneven. He never asked me if I was satisfied with the way the nails turned out before sending me to dry. Needless to say, my polish was chipping a few hours later. The only upside is that the price for a regular manicure is only $20, so I don't feel too bad about needing to touch up my own polish. Also--they insist on tipping in cash. This is totally fine because they have an ATM, but I wish they had said this on their website so I could have gotten cash on my way there. I wish this salon would just be appointment only if walk-in clients are so much of a burden to their schedule that they rush and do a sloppy application. The regulars there seemed quite happy, so perhaps making an appointment makes a big difference. read more

I took my girlfriend in there as a Valentine's Day treat February 14, 2025. Although it was close to closing time day accepted and allowed her to get her nails done. She did a manicure and a pedicure. Mind you it was Valentine's Day on a Friday night and it was 30 or 40 minutes before closing. My girlfriend was very excited to get her nails done and I sat and watch her enjoy her, getting her nails done. Lo and behold over the weekend she had pain in her pinky nail and soon after she had pain in all the rest of her fingertips. One of the nails fell off 10 days later. I called and complain and spoke with the manager, and the manager insisted that she come back in so that she could look at what the problem was. My girlfriend absolutely wanted nothing to do with this nail salon ever again and I was just stuck with paying top dollar for her nails getting done, but no worries I will be contacting my credit card company and filing a dispute. I would definitely not recommend them because hardly any of them speak good proper English, and they fail to realize that they are supposed to be professional and me as a consumer. I want to get what I paid for and I paid top dollar. I paid I think it was 140 or $160 for pedicure manicure with gel and I gave them a $20 tip. I will never ever go there again. read more

Not a spa experience, but okay if you're in need of a speedy mani or pedi like I was last week! I have seen their signage for deals and easy walk ins a number of times, and open toe shoe season came at me much faster than usual this year. I called and asked if they could get me in within the next hour, walked over, and got right into the pedi chair after choosing a dark green color. The front desk attendant is so so sweet and guided me through the process. They did try to upsell me on my pedicure and look a little miffed when I insisted that all I wanted was a very basic update. My technician got to work silently and the pedi itself was lovely - even the basic includes hot stones, lotions, oils, and massage. My pedicure chipped by day two and the process to checkout was very haphazard and rushed. My technician took my card while I was drying and didn't let me know the price. They request you tip in cash as well. I'll just repeat that if you're looking to relax and enjoy a service, this is not the place for you. If you just need a speedy update, this place works! $25 for basic pedi. read more

What happened to me should NOT go unknown to the public. I came in for a simple pedicure, choose the Honey Pedicure for $35. After soaking and removing the old polish the tech pointed out that I had calluses (like many people) and if I wanted them removed it would cost $10 dollars more. I approved this reluctantly but knew I wanted to at least have my heels scrubbed with a pummice as it was a holiday weekend and I planned to be outside in sandals for Labor day. The tech went and got a plastic and metal grater that he then proceeded to shave my heels with. He was vigorous and rough with his pressure and as it began to feel tender and he stopped as he could see my wincing and flinching. He finished the pedicure in a hurried fashion, continuing to not say a word to me. Albeit my toes looked nice. I left a tip and went home. Waking up the next morning my heels were raw, red, swollen and tender. By the night of day two the raked skin of my heels had broken and cracked. I have NEVER had cracks in my heels EVER. I had to skip the NYS Fair with my friends because putting on shoes hurt and sandals were not an option because i had open wounds on my feet. I called the shop, asked to speak to management or the owner, the lady took my number and the owner Mark called me back within the hour. I explained my i was upset, injured and wanting at least a refund... though it had at minimum ruined my holiday weekend and left me with open wounds. He agreed so 45 minutes later I showed up to the shop for my refund and had to then face the man who did my pedicure and RE-EXPLAIN my issue. he looked through receipts and transaction history while talking in his language and laughing with others working there. I ultimately got my money back and spent the last two weeks trying to get my heels to heal. Today, two weeks after the incident I STILL CANNOT wear most of my shoes without fear of getting something in the open wounds/cracks (which still bleed on occasion)... or without being in pain. Not only are the grater paddles Illegal in most states the carelessness in which they were used was entirely unacceptable. I have no idea how,long I will have to deal with the cracks (which I had NEVER had before) and tenderness. DO NOT go here!!!!!! They don't care!!!!! read more

I started going to get my powder dip with extensions and was hooked. Every time I've gotten my nails done they last for at least 3 weeks if not more. The "more professional" salon I had been going to charged way more, and the manicure barely lasted the guaranteed 2 weeks. Sad thing about this place is that I've been going here for years and pretty regularly the past year or so. No issues up until this last visit and now I will never go back. During the manicure the owner was literally rushing as fast as she could it stressed me out, then cut my nails all crooked making her file them crooked AND one hand was noticeably longer than the other, when I pointed it out she got up and had another employee take over, I pointed it out to him and ask if he could tell, he said no but filed the one hand anyway. I actually had to ask for the file myself as one finger was still very crooked and he LAUGHED at me all while the two were clearing talking about me. Everything about it was bad and I'm not a complainer! The bell looks uneven, they are still tacky 24 hours later, AND she didn't give me the cash discount that I have received at literally every other visit to their salon! I'm giving them 3 stars because I'm not quite sold on them yet. The first time I went I got my brows done($10) and all she really did was clean them up. They were barely shaped I should have spoken up and told her to go thinner but she seemed cold and abrupt so I just moved on to the gel manicure($30). A young man did the mani. After i had to wash my hands(after the buff) he dryed them with a hot towel. I also got a shoulder/Back massage and hand massage. He made sure to lotion my hands and cuticles. He did a fabulous job! Second time I went I got a gel mani and a honey spa pedicure(35). A young girl did my mani. She went a little over board on the buffing in my opinion. Also she did a crappy job on the cuticles(strike 1) they have AMAZING massage chairs for their pedicures. She did an okay job. Again crappy on the cuticles also she didn't exfoliate my feet of dead skin and I don't think she put a top coat on my polish (I was really into the massage my eyes were closed most of the time). She did use hot stones and some type of treatment on my heel and that I liked. Back to the mani. She did not go all the way to my cuticle with the polish so I know I will need to go back sooner than I usually would to get them redone (sketchy strike 2). I have been to this location a couple times, using online deals I had. I have had spa pedicures, gel manicures and 10 minute chair massages here. The spa pedicure is pretty basic but with nice heated stone. My first pedicure was done very well and with care and the polish lasted an appropriate amount of time. My second pedicure was terrible, polish started chipping in one week and I have never had this happen with a pedicure before. The gel manicures I had done were basic, lasted approx. 10 days and had a nice variety of color options. I am not sure but it appears they use UV and not LED curing as it seems to take several minutes in between coats instead of usual 45-60 seconds. The chair massages are right in the middle of the location so that everyone can watch, maybe if they put them in a separate room or a corner it would've made me feel a little more relaxed. The chair massages are not customizable (in my experience) - if you have any kind of back pain or tenderness I wouldn't recommend. The salon was clean, easy to make an appointment and with online deals and regular specials it was affordable. You can park in the lot behind the building which makes it convenient. They offer you a mini room temperature bottle of water and really no communication at all. Literally every time I have come in no one has said more than 2 words to me. It might be a nice option if you're in the area, but I don't feel it's anything special. read more

I use to go to this nail salon all the time, but the lady that greats you when you walk in can be quite rude at times and the atmosphere does not feel as inviting as in the past. I went to pretty on park twice. The first time was just for a pedicure with 3 friends around Christmas time. It was very pretty in the salon and the people very nice. They even gave us all a 5 dollar Christmas gift to use for the next time they came back. SUPER NICE!! They did a pretty good job and had very very comfy chairs. The only problem was that it was a bit pricey. Over all for the Pedicures I'd give them a 4. I came here again two months later but this time was for a french tip manicure. AWFUL! The first time around they refused to do pink tips and instead did their variation on one. They looked like a cloudy distorted mess! So bad my friends said I had to complain because I couldnt be seen in public with them. I asked to talk to the manager and he apologized and said they did look awful and would take them off completely and redo them himself. He did this and they looked much better. It still wasnt what I wanted and in total ended up being at the nail salon for 4 hours. The manager went the step further and even went next door to the restaurant and bought me a dinner to go. I got a groupon to get a gel manicure and basic pedicure and it was overall a great experience. The salon was clean, the staff was friendly and it wasn't overly crowded. I did make a reservation a week in advance to be safe though. The gentleman took his time on my pedicure making sure my cuticles looked great, my toes were nicely filed and took extra care applying my dark polish. They gave me bottled water and had a nice massage chair which was relaxing. I then had the sweetest woman work on my gel manicure and while I was under the lamp setting she gave me a wonderful back massage for at least 5 minutes. It was heaven! The reason I gave them only three stars is because my friend and I sat down in the pedicure chair at the same time and I was first to start. When someone else was free to start hers they really rushed it. She started 10 minutes later than me and ended 5 minutes earlier. I think it's important to give each client the same experience and she was disappointed she didn't get the same treatment and attention that I did. All I wanted was my gel polish removed... a simple, easy job that any salon should be able to handle. What I thought would be a quick and straightforward trip was anything but. At first, they said $7 for removal which I thought was perfectly fair, and they added $3 to the price because I had a single acrylic nail. I agreed to the $10. Right away, there were several comments and accusations made by the manager that this wasn't regular gel, which was really annoying because I'm positive my nails were plain ole gel, not powder or anything fancy. While they were in the middle of ruining my nails, she upped the price to $15. Meanwhile, the technician was using the harsh drill on my nails to remove the gel. He put the acetone soaked cotton balls and foil for maybe 2 minutes before removing it and going HAM with the power drill again. Absolutely ridiculous. Of course the gel won't come off if you don't give the acetone time to do its part! They WRECKED my nails, leaving them frail and textured. Cons: On prior visits, I noticed they kept taking walk-ins for manicures even though it was evident that they were overbooked. This led to lengthy waits with no notice. I arrived to a slow salon on a Friday afternoon. I did not make appointment and the lady that greeted me immediately chastised me for not making appointment. The pedicure was rushed and felt just short of washing my feet in the bathtub. I've given this salon several try's and each time I have a very similar experience. I figure maybe they are having a rough day so I usually just tip well and carry on about my day. But, this was their third strike. First of all I don't know understand how this nail salon has anything more then a 3 star rating and that's being nice. I visited my friend in Rochester because I'm moving out of state next week and we happened to walk by "Pretty on Park" while leaving brunch at Jhines restaurant a couple blocks down. My friend and I both got manicures ($15) per manicure which is not a bad price compared to other nail salons. The place was way overbooked and they still were accepting walk ins when they really should not have. My friend got a color to match her pedicure that she got done somewhere else I just went with a basic clear polish. The mail technician lady that I had was very nice. I can't say the same for my friends nail technician lady. But here is my problem with the service we received. She not only was EXTREMELY AGGRESSIVE while cutting my cuticles but she missed so many spots and made two of my fingers bleed REALLY bad. Mind you I had to keep pointing out the areas on my cuticles where she kept missing because she kept rushing. My pinkie finger was gushing blood for about 10-15 minutes until it stopped bleeding. However, she did apologize to me which was nice but I would have appreciated money taken off for the service. She cut my nails all unevenly and didn't file them down enough. Not to mention the clear coat I received all bad sideway brush strokes. Before she even finished doing my clear coat, the nail technician asked me to pay first and my friend was forced to pay before "HER" nail technician proceeded with the color. My friends experience was awful on so many levels to say the least. I'm an understanding/generous person. I understand mistakes happen but when you so overly aggressive while cutting someone's cuticles to the point of making the finger gush with blood, I'd expect a full refund or at least half of the amount taken off. I honest to God don't even know what the point of us getting manicures was. I could have done my manicure myself and for free. All of this aside I chose to still tip the lady $5 because I have a good heart but damn I'm beyond irritated. read more

It's not a bad place, but I will never go here again. PROS: plenty of parking, short wait time, HUGE polish selection, overall clean. I got a hand massage and shoulder massage. CONS: I walked right in, didn't wait at all. I was there for an hour and a half for a fill. I'm used to a fill taking 30 minutes. I have coffin shaped nails, somehow they managed to mess the shape up. I now have to have them redone because they're too wide and too round. I told my nail tech that I wanted my nails narrower about 50 times. I wanted them the exact shape I had them when I walked in, just a touch shorter. I'm not sure they use fresh nail files or buffers for each client. That kind of bothered me. I, myself, am a nail tech and I always throw those out between guests. Maybe that's just me. I went here for the first time recently. I arrived 1/2 hour early for my appt, leaving plenty of time to pick out a color... or so I thought! As I was picking it out I got a phone call I took since I was early. The owner rudely came up to me, interrupting and yelled "Are you ready?!" I informed her I was still picking out my color and would be done in a couple of minutes, reminding her that I was early." She was displeased and said "Well they are waiting for you!" The girl who did my mani/pedi was nice but barely talked to me throughout the hour I was there. She seemed unhappy I didn't want to upgrade to a higher priced service. If the chair was a massage one she never gave me the option. All in all an underwhelming experience. I gave it 2 stars because the place is clean, convenient and has a parking lot. Also because the girl (who didn't tell me her name) did a nice job and gave me a short massage while my nails dried.
