Been to Prezo many times and the food is consistent. Tonight we ordered takeout and 3 of the 4 items were excellent. The fish tacos, crispy chicken fontina and chicken carbonara were all crowd pleasers. We also had the Caesar salad with chicken which was $22 that was horribly disappointing. The lettuce seemed past its date and was mostly the stems of the romaine. Definitely will be avoiding this dish going forward. read more

We made reservations for a Friday night at seven and seated promptly. The food is decent not amazing but huge portions and comes out very quickly. Staff is very friendly. We ordered a Zhang Zhang chicken as an appetizer and it was very mayonnaisey. The sangria was just okay. We split a meal because the portions were so big. I forget the name of the dish but it was a fried chicken cutlet with a lemon cream sauce. I had an event here and while the food was DELICIOUS, I would not host another event here solely because of how difficult I found it to work with the event coordinator. I worked hard to keep the lines of communication open every step of the way, and despite telling her my plans for having a decorator at our very first meeting 6 weeks before the event, she informed me the week before that I can't have the event planner bring in tables or linens. Granted, this ended up being fine anyway because they provided it, but I wouldn't have had to pay for it if I knew that well in advance. I didn't know until I called to confirm the arrival time for the decorator that they have linens and they charge $1 a person for them. She very tersely told me "they can't bring in tables, they can't bring in their own linens either," or something to that effect. I just think the communication could have been better, especially since they advertise that they are an event venue. When I called to give the final numbers and meal options for the buffet, she asked what time I wanted the food to come out, to which I said 12:45. At 12:42 she came up to me and asked what time I wanted the food to come out. This was for my two young kids baptism, so we'd been out of the house since 9:30 am--everyone was hungry! It was a just a little frustrating because this is something I communicated in advance. Lastly, I just found it a little off-putting that when I called with my meal selections, she said "just so you know, none of those sides go with any of the entrees you picked." I was on the phone in like a stunned silence lol I didn't even know what to say to that... I selected lasagna, chicken and broccoli, and pizza as entrees with roasted veggies and roasted potatoes for the sides. She said "i would do salad and penne marinara or two salads." Honestly if I had two salads out on a buffet, my Polish and Italian family would be like ... what? Lol. It's late November, no one wants a cold salad as a side. And two of my entrees were pasta, so why would I do more pasta for a side? Even if my meal and side options were a little nonconventional and didn't "go together", I just found it a little weird and rude .. like why do you care what me and my family eat? and if you do have concerns or want me to reconsider, make a better recommendation, maybe do it a little gentler. She was just a very bold individual, not very "warm and fuzzy" if you will, which is fine, but this was the first formal event I've ever held for my kids since my oldest was born in the prime of covid, so this event was important to me. I just wish there was a little more patience and understanding, and better communication. Maybe an email address we can communicate through? Their website only has an initial contact form and every time I called with a question about timing or deliveries, it seemed like I was bothering her. I always called with specific questions and apart from the phone call where I gave the meal options and final head count, I only kept her on the phone for maybe 3 minutes each time. I'm really just trying to reassure myself that I wasn't a pain in the you know what, because I wasn't. Just a mom of two young kids that was really looking forward to this event and wanted it to go smoothly. TLDR-- While the customer service was not on par, like everyone says in the reviews the food is amazing. My family and friends had a good time and had nothing but great things to say about the food. Just don't expect an attentive event coordinator if you're thinking about hosting an event here. I've lived in town many, many years and I rarely go to Prezo. After going last night, I'm not sure why. Walking in, the hostess was very pleasant and accommodating regarding the seating options and the smell was drool-worthy. Tried two special drinks that were delicious and reasonably priced. I ordered Chicken Sinatra, which is what I have always ordered, but it was prepared slightly different and that's ok (I subbed out linquine for angel hair). The dish had a lot of mushrooms, which I love and fresh spinach mixed in. My friend had the Chicken Fontina which was crispy and delicious as always. Both portions had two pieces of chicken and ample pasta so there was definitely leftovers. Finished off with a glass of wine and a standard cocktail that were reasonably priced. Everything was great and we'll be back more often. Why not five stars? Service started a little slow, but was on par the rest of the evening. If it was any busier, I think service may have been a little slower. I look forward to going back soon. Side note: entrees are priced great for the portions, but $16 for a wedge salad? Not the worst, not the best. Hit or miss for us. Got Thai lettuce wraps take out and they sent iceberg lettuce in pieces like for a salad. Basically had to eat it with a fork and threw away half of it. Definitely not a wrap lettuce. Also the dry noodles they sent were stale. Waste of money and not the first time our take out is not good and we have had to throw away. Fontina chicken is the best dish they have. That's always a hit with us but don't get it take out. They throw their takeout together like a fast food place, usually burnt or unappealing. Also, they are bit pricey for some of their items, but they do give you a good amount on most things. What a pleasant surprise- some of the most perfectly cooked salmon I've enjoyed in a while. We had a LARGE party on the outdoor patio, which included some very excited young children. The waitstaff were attentive, patient, and personable, and very knowledgeable about the menu. We all loved our meals. I had the salmon and shrimp, and it was a generous portion for one person. Another person in our party got the noodle bowl and it could have fed three people, easily. My only critique would be that the portion sizes are a bit inconsistent, ranging from "enough" to "way too much." Two people in our party ordered the lettuce wraps to split as an appetizer, and it was really entree sized. The risotto balls were a reasonable appetizer portion, though. Generally I wouldn't say too much food is a bad thing, but if you're traveling and know you won't be able to take food with you, it's a little disappointing to waste delicious food. I can't decide if this should be 1 or 2 stars... I had heard tons of great reviews about this place so I was really excited to try it. When I got there I expected to see a huge wait (we had reservations) - but was surprised there wasn't and we were close enough that I noticed there wasn't a wait at all the whole time we were there - and that was a Friday night! We came in as a group of 7. We had a decent size table but it was too small by one person but they had us cram that one person in at the end even though they weren't that busy. I wasn't sure what to order and when I told the waiter what I was torn between he told me they sell more of the seafood risotto than any other menu item - well that convinced me. It came out looking like soup. As I started to dig in the soupiness was actually grease... it was swimming in grease (I will post a picture to prove it!). The seafood was OK except for the scallops. It was like trying to chew a rubber ball. I ended up 1/4 way thru my meal finding a long blond hair - trying not to disgust the others that were with me I just pulled it out and politely put my napkin over my dish. With our waiter basically non-existent I didn't have a chance to pull him ot the side about it so no one else would hear. A good waiter or even a semi decent one should've noticed that I hardly ate anything and refused a to-go box! A friend had ordered the bolognese and loved it - said it was very flavorful. Hey, not bad! Good even! My cousin and I were starving but looking for a place that wouldn't kill our healthful diet around Milford area which is a challenge in itself. I got the noodles with salmon and veggies and it was actually really yummy! It came in a large bowl, large portion, which I took the other half for lunch the next day. I had no or little expectations for the meal so I was definitely pleasantly surprised. My cousin, adhering to her low carb diet got one of the salads (even though she was craving the burger!!)and she ended up loving her salad and feeling completely satisfied afterwards. Two great meals, 2 club sodas came to about $40ish but they were generous portions, good quality, friendly service, no wait and relatively healthy. Don't let the three stars cloud your thoughts about coming there, it's a good restaurant, they have good food, a family atmosphere, and a friendly atmosphere. Their drinks are very good too. This is more about the Thanksgiving meal that we took out. It was pretty awful just from two peoples point of view - the turkey itself just didn't seem edible. It didn't seem like the kind of turkey you'd get at outpost farm for example. It had kind of a gel in it, the pieces were half light and half dark in what seemed like the Breast pieces of the turkey, the mashed potatoes also weren't good, the butternut squash was great, the cranberry sauce was very good and the gravy was pure salt. We threw it away right away. I appreciate having the option for take out on Thanksgiving. Just wish it was better quality. We threw it all out which is such a waste. Sorry guys. I like Prezo and tonight the food was excellent. I had their salmon entree and the recipe and the way it came out, including making it the way I asked in terms of well done, was perfect. My husband ordered salmon with his salad. Also both very good. I Didn't like the summer mojito but that's just personal taste. Our waiter was exemplary. He was kind, sensitive to our needs, very professional and a good human being. He went above and beyond. The only thing I don't like when we are at Prezo is the noise level. Very loud. Decent food and good draft list here. HOWEVER, the last 2 times we have gone they have had "live music" a young lady on an electric violin playing along to tracks of popular rock songs. It explains each beer beyond just a brewery and a name -- style, hops used, etc. they also do four beer flights which is great to sample the different offerings and not all that common at bars. They also went outside the regional footprint for their craft beers which was nice. The food menu was extensive and I would love to get back to try more things. Out service was a little slow to start, but we weren't in a hurry and it picked up from there. We started with the lettuce wraps and they were very good with a number of sauces from which to choose. From there I went with the honey sriracha shrimp and salmon and it was good not great. The risotto cake was definitely good and something I would get again. Don't get me wrong... we love the food at the Milford, MA Prezo Restaurant. Especially the mussels. The other night, we ordered take-out dinners for a special occasion. I went to pick it up and put the shopping bag on the floor of the back seat to protect it. When I got home, I lifted the bag out and the entire bottom fell out because the mussels had not been secured properly and had spilled out and soaked the bag with sauce/juice. Two entire dinners fell out of the torn bag and spilled all over the back seat and floor of the car, on garage floor and all over me. It was a nasty mess. We spent an hour cleaning things up as best we could, but now the car smells like a fish cannery and the upholstery is badly stained. We spoke to a manager at Prezo and he refunded the price of the meal. We asked him about having the car detailed to mitigate the fish smell and stain, but he said he would have to speak to the owner about that. He said he would call us back the next day. After hearing nothing, we called that evening and he said he had spoken to the owner's son (of all things) and was waiting to hear back. We asked if we could speak to the owner directly and he refused to give us contact information. He said he would hear back in another day or so. Well all this happened last Sunday night and now it's the following Saturday, and still no call from Prezo, despite two separate phone calls from us to the manager. At this point, we're thinking they're not going to do any service-recovery for us. Too bad, because now our only recourse is to complain publically and unfortunately, remove them from our dining choices. Hopefully, they're listening. We feel that the damage to the car is entirely caused by Prezo's poor packaging. We feel Prezo should own the mess they created and that for whatever reason, the manager is "protecting" the owner from us. Why the refusal to communicate? Why the monkey-in-the-middle business? Owning responsibility here looks like returning calls when they said they would, speaking directly to whoever is empowered to rectify the situation, making good on damages clearly caused by Prezo's negligence, and at least pretending like they care about customer service. None of these things are happening, hence our only recourse seems to be airing our NEGATIVE REVIEW for the world to see!!! Like I said, Prezo food is incredible and we are sad to end our business with them. But ignoring customer grievances like this leaves us no choice. Went here tonight with my wife and 6 month old for our 2 year wedding anniversary. Staff was nice to provide us with a high chair for our baby. We started with Risotto Balls and Bruschetta Caprese. Both items came under 10 minutes. The Risotto balls were okay, nothing to complain about. The Bruschetta however was basically a bowl of soup with bread dipped in. Although the flavor was good, the bread was soaked and mushy. We also asked for bread, its complementary, but you have to ask for it. The bread came out soft, but cold, with a side dish of oil that was bland. For the main meal we ordered the special of the night, Lobster Ravioli(24$ for 6 of them) and Chicken Parm. Both Items came in under 20 minutes. The Ravioli had excellent flavor and texture. It was a bit heavy on the oil though. The chicken parm was okay, the sauce lacked flavor, and again, the bowl was filled with grease. The chicken was cooked good, i expected it to be a little bit more crispy, but the extra oil in the dish may have soaked it. Floor manager was kind enough to take off 5$ as a "first customer" discount. Although the staff was super friendly, the lack of menu options(salads, chicken, pizza, burgers) and the mediocre food is not enough to bring us back. read more

I asked for the listed Finback, but it was not available, so I got a Singlecut Mellifluous Life IPA. It was a warm 50+ degrees. I ordered the Mac & Cheese Bacon Cheeseburger after reading good reviews about it. However, the bun was not toasted, so stuck to the bacon, the mac & cheese was lukewarm and was not fresh-tasting, and the bacon was undercooked and chewy, and the burger meat was nothing special. Absolutely fabulous. Had the salmon and shrimp, the glaze was a little sweet and overpowering-- which took away from the underlying spices, and char grill so beautifully done on the fish. Only 2 of the dishes ordered had any flavor: the bake stuffed haddock and my granddaughter's Mac and cheese. The calamari was nothing but fried batter without any flavor including the marinara sauce. The panko haddock was bland and the sage butter sauce was liquid without flavor, the mushrooms were not cooked but the lobster ravioli was good.
