I'm a long time Prezo's fan and was so excited to see their announcement that they were going to open today for outdoor dining! Kudos on the set-up, even though it was a rainy day, the tent was superb and your care in ensuring everyone's safety was bar none. So, my go to favs are always seafood and Prezo's Cioppino does not disappoint. First and foremost, its loaded with fresh succulent mussels, tender squid, flaky fish, large shrimp, mouthwatering sea scallops all cooked to perfection! Seriously! Best of all it's cradled in a bowl of heavenly liquid so full of flavor, all served over angel hair pasta. I have to stop myself from picking up the bowl and drinking it! I ordered 2 orders of the seafood risotto and it was delivered by door dash. Now it was cooked by Prezo's chef both orders gave so much Asiago cheese and I'm not sure what the it's like eating soup! Very little seafood. Horrible all this for over $50.00. I don't recommend it. read more

Had a large pepperoni pizza. $18 (crazy) but always willing to try a new pizza. I called 15 minutes before I picked up the pizza. It was room temperature cold (odd) almost as if it wasn't my pizza and it was someone else's who never picked it up. Still I decided to go with it and not complain. Took 1 bite and wasn't feeling it. Waited until I got home to heat it up in the oven. I did not enjoy it. I thought it was a really bad pizza. This is a solid place to go. The food is innovative without being over-the-top. They're great about keeping the favorites but the chef is great at introducing new items that are always a "must try". I have been going here for years. Tonight I ordered my favorite (chicken fontina). The chicken was basically a a chicken breast. They didn't pound it thinner and the garlic linguine tasted like boiled linguine with absolutely nothing on it. When I called to complain, I was told that this is the way the always make it. So I came here looking for a steak. Our friends at Yelp stated this was the only decently rated place in the area for just such a culinary option. Fair warning they only do one steak a night and it's at market price. With that said, the service was excellent and everything on the menu sounded pretty good. If I wasn't getting a steak I think I would have tried the pasta special. The steak the brought was a 16oz. cut with an Italian name I don't recognize. The steak was fatty but cooked correctly. After trimming the fat it was more like a 13 or 14oz slab o' meat. It came with mashed potatoes and mixed veg. The waitress warned me that it was fatty ahead of time so I wasn't upset. Flavor of the steak was good although I would've liked a bit more seasoning on it. A solid helping of pepper corrected that problem. This is a great place with great service and a great atmosphere and without losing the neighborhood vibe. If I'm back in town I'll be back. read more

I've been here a bunch of times. The most I've been here in one week was 3 times. I like. Most of the time, it's for their $9.99 lunch buffet (only Tues-Fri). The coworkers and I get there right at 11:30 to be at the front of the buffet line. The buffet menu varies, but I can always find something I like. Last Friday, they had 11 dishes in the buffet including Pumpkin Ravioli, Crab and Artichoke Spinach Dip, Cranberry Shrimp, and Grilled Vegetable Lasagna. The soup was a Tomato, Roasted Red Pepper and Basil Bisque which was spot on. Potato Croquettes and Risotto Balls are a favorite with the coworkers. Sadly, I cannot enjoy them as they contain bacon. ABSOLUTELY AWFUL EXPERIENCE!Went recently for my friends birthday. Waitress was slow taking our order and then when we finally got our coffee, mgmt came to tell us they needed our table for another reservation and we had to leave. Mind you, no one told us previously that we could only stay for a certain period of time (which mgmt said they did) After going back and forth because he wasn't nice about it at all, we told him we would not ever come back. He told us at that point that he would comp us the coffees, but we absolutely had to leave the table for the next party. When we paid the bill, he had NOT taken coffees off. When we were passing the hostess area, where he stood, we stopped to tell him about the coffees and he said "you said you wouldn't come back, why would I comp you if your not returning". We explained 'how about trying to earn our business back again', etc. He continued to be rude and absolutely did not care if we came back. On top of all that, the food wasn't even that good, but the restaurant was just between our two houses and thought we'd try it. NEVER AGAIN! read more

Very bad service and food. The first time going, my husband and I were greeted by the hostess smacking and chewing her gum. Seated in the dining area where there were groups so drunk their voices echoed throughout the place. we couldn't hear each other talking. our waiter (who never told us his name) was annoyed when we asked for a few minutes. cam over and took our drink order, then our food order, we did not have silverware which we had to ask for when our meals came. lobster and shrimp scampi was frozen and had a very vinegar wine taste, (not the sauce). I sent my meal back but was never asked why, there was no concern or care at all, and no manager or kitchen staff came over to ask us if there was anything they could do. when the waiter took my plate he almost dropped it on me, I get people have bad days, but he had a bad demeanor, and never looked at us once just mumbled the word yea. I asked for a salad which I ate. All in all, we will never go back. I do not recommend this place unless you are looking to drink at the bar. read more

my husband was in the mood for Italian the other night, and Prezo was his request. i was a little skeptical based on our last, not-so-great experience, but figured we'd give them a try. we did much better this time. for an appetizer we got the thai chicken lettuce wraps. in the world of lettuce wraps, these are definitely not the best. the three sauces that come with it- none of them are actually that good on their own. when combined together, it's a bit more successful. it was a decent portion, and added some interest to our meal. for his dinner, my husband got the chicken parmesan over angel hair. this was enough food for him to ultimately eat three times- at the $19.99 price tag, i was happy about that. for me, we got the Milfordian pizza and a side of risotto. the pizza was GREAT. it's a thin crust, cooked well, and had plenty of toppings that were well distributed. the pizza was a real star. so was the risotto. the rice was perfectly cooked, and creamy, but also had the remnants of acidity from whatever they may add (traditionally white wine, but who knows). the risotto being so delicious was a little puzzling, considering we had been disappointed in the risotto balls, but maybe it was just an off day. anywho- while we probably will not ever be Prezo regulars, it does appear that we will be getting takeout from time to time. looking forward to having their pizza again! read more

The only reason this fine establishment gets my three star review is because of the service or lack there of. The food terrific and drinks were tasty and reasonably priced. From a man who always gives a server 20% gratuity, I was uncomfortable giving 15% feeling less than attended to. It could be the personality of the server or poor training. I can't say enough good things about Prezo! We were always long time fans, but my family and I have come here almost every week since MA allowed outdoor dining this summer. Every....single....dinner we leave wildly impressed. The service, the drinks, and the food are all outstanding. I always want to try something new, but the crispy chicken fontina is so good that I can't bring myself to order anything else. But for those who choose to broaden their Prezo horizons - no one has left having a meal they didn't overly enjoy. We've even had to buy containers of the lemon mint dressing from the Mediterranean Salad...it is so delicious! FYI: They have a large tent set up with tables spaced apart almost more than 6 feet - everything feels very safe! There is a $4.50 fee added to every meal to offset the cost of the tent - if you have a problem with this, you truly don't understand the hardships restaurants are facing during COVID. We are honored to support any local restaurant that we love, and hope to continue visiting in the future. read more

Something for everyone. The risotto balls appetizer was great. I got the BBQ ribs, which are gluten free. It was a whole rack = huge. The meat fell off the bone they were so tender. The side of sweet potato Brussel sprout hash was great. Our servers were terrific and helped us accommodate the kids choices which were not exact from the menu. They are also able to accommodate large groups. The bar area is very modern with high tops around the sides. A nice choice if you haven't been. read more

I enjoyed a nice work dinner while in town for business. Our server was friendly, fast, and offered great suggestions. They offer a nice selection of local craft beers and wines. For dinner, I ordered the fish taco app and a side garden salad. I was surprised by the portion of the app - it was actually more of a dinner size in my opinion. The fish was fresh and the taco was very flavorful. I loved their balsamic dressing that came with the garden salad. Their oil dip and bread was also a nice touch. The bread could have been more fresh (I don't think it is made in house), but the oil dip was nice. We skipped dessert because we were so full from our dinners. Booked at Prezo on OpenTable for a dinner for my wife and I. When we showed up, they didn't have any record of it even though we'd gotten a confirmation email. Prezo didn't miss a beat. They found us a table and got us seated, never made us feel rushed even though they were booked solid on a Friday night. As for the food, mine was fantastic. I loved the chicken in a cream sauce. They had it, I enjoyed it, and followed that with a pint of A Year With Dr Nandu, one of the great Aeronaut brews that has been making its way. I'll try the food some time. Over the weekend, we visited Prezo for the second time. We first went a few years ago when we had just moved into the area and we weren't very impressed, but the parking lot is always full so we decided to give them another try. We got pizza the last time, but we're admittedly picky about pizza, so we figured we'd try something else from the menu this time. We were lucky to dodge the 40 minute wait for the dining room by sitting at a high top in the bar, which we were happy about. The menu is a little all over the place. It's like they can't decide if they're an Italian restaurant, and American restaurant, steak house, pizza joint or none of the above. After ordering drinks and perusing the menu, we decided to skip an appetizer because other tables were receiving bread and oil and we figured that would hold us over until our entrees arrived. Unfortunately, our server never brought bread and by the time we realized everyone around us had it, we thought it was too late to ask for it, assuming our entrees would be coming soon (which we were wrong about). I ordered the steak tips cooked medium and asked for mashed potatoes instead of rice and my husband got the Asian style short ribs. Our son really wanted a cheeseburger but they didn't have one on the kids menu. Our server suggested we order a burger from the regular menu - a huge $13 meal for a 2 year old - seems like a really weird attempt at an upsell. We obviously declined and got him chicken fingers. (side note: why the heck don't restaurants put a burger on their kids menu!?) The steak tips were advertised as having a marsala sauce, mushrooms and onions. I know they were busy, but our entrees took a really long time to come (almost 30 mins). When my dish arrived, it looked more like a stew than steak tips. The dish was good, but I wasn't expecting my tips to be smothered in a gravy-like sauce. I wished it would have been more of a glaze. My husband enjoyed his short rib meal. All in all, the food was good but not great. Service was slow, inconsistent and it was pricey for what we got. Our total was $75 for two entrees, a kids meal and one beer. We wouldn't go out of our way to return to Prezo, especially since there are more affordable restaurants with better food and service within a stone's throw. I went to the restaurant for lunch. I ordered the chicken Parm and a side salad. The salad was fresh and plentiful. The dressing however was kind of a brown color and had a bit of a sardine smell. The chicken Parm was moist but extremely over breaded and fried too much. The pasta was a little on the cranky side and the sauce was completely tasteless. This just may become my new go-to place for Italian food. I came here for the first time the other night and I already can't wait to go back. I ordered the Crispy Chicken Fontina and it was absolutely delicious. The portion size was decent too so I ended up being able to take some home and have it for lunch the next day which is always a plus. My drink was also very good albeit a little strong (that's okay though... I definitely got my money's worth!) Our waitress was good and only checked in on us a handful of times, which I personally prefer over having her come over every 3 minutes.
