We were lucky to get an outside table but the service was really terrible. Our waitress was extremely nice but the food took over an hour and our drinks about 20mins. Nearly as wonderful as the last time I couldn't convince anyone to order the Ravioli d' Uovo so I got one for the table. It was everyone's favorite dish! Don't miss it. The Bronzino was delicious and enormous. We loved the Crispy Shrimp it's actually portion enough for a small entree. Finally, two of us had the rabbit pasta and while it was delicious the amount of rabbit, about 2 ounces in each dish was rather comical. Service was amazing! read more

LOVED Prezza-- may be my new favorite restaurant in the North End. My favorite thing we ate was the oyster app... couldn't even tell you what it was, but it was amazing. 3.5 Stars. Came here last night on Valentine's Day, but i'm not too sure how i feel about this place. My boyfriend and i LOVED LOVED LOVED LOVED their crispy shrimp with italian slaw and cherry pepper aioli sauce. For our entrees, we ordered their veal ravioli and their veal porter house with saffron lobster risotto, but they were both very mediocre and underwhelming, especially for the prices that they were charging. Not sure if i'd ever order another entree here again, but i'd walk a thousand miles to just have their crispy shrimps again. By the way the tables are pretty cramped in here, with maybe only about 8 inches of space for you to squeeze in (sideways) to get to your seat...and not proceed to accidentally knock over the huge plates or candles that may be sitting on the sides/edges of the tables next to you. We haven't had a North end restaurant that has disappointed yet and Prezza sure did not. We started with the garlic bread, tuna tartare, arugula salad and Bufala mozzarella all of which was amazing especially the fresh mozzarella. For our main course we got the chicken parm which was a special that day and mushroom risotto which were also delicious. You could tell the fettuccini was made fresh in house. The service was good and the wine selection was small but had good options. We even got desserts but had no room left to finish but the gluten free chocolate cake was dense and yummy. Simply fantastic. Relaxing, refined but not stuffy, comfortable space. Service was excellent. As for the food, I'll just focus on the two entrees. The wife's free range boneless half chicken was possibly the best chicken we have had in a restaurant. Tender, moist, well-seasoned meat under a highly-flavorful, crispy but not tough skin. They must dry-rub and brine/soak that meat overnight or something similar to infuse that flavor. My fish stew (lobster, swordfish, shrimp, clams, mussels, squid with toasted bread and saffron aioli), was similarly excellent. When they said stew, they meant it. The broth was filled with the seafood. Much was still in the shell, so I took it all out. And it filled the bowl. The swordfish was a large filet piece, and the shrimp were three (I think) large shrimp. I ate those separately, wanting to savor the bites. As with the chicken, this was well seasoned and extremely savory. The broth was really a buttery, tomato-ish concoction, but oh so good. I really wanted to turn up the bowl and drink all there was, but managed to resist. read more

The one left out was meatballs, I was looking for more of loose, fluffy and fatty textures but was more tight and lean. Nothing wowed me but everything was above average. A rainy evening for dinner in the North End with my big brother from another mother before touring MIT. Reservations were made, valet parking available in a lot across the street from the restaurant. Great atmosphere, elegant decor, not too loud, attentive waiter. He probably thought we were on a date and kept offering wine or something to share. We were fine with still water, thanks much. I started with the burrata, I had a fish dish (couldn't get away from seafood cravings), and we shared a tiramisu...so rich we had to take breaks and put the spoons down! The waiter was afraid we stopped eating it because we didn't like it, but we loved it actually! Was in Boston for New Year's Eve and decided to eat here for dinner. It was located on a small street but when you walked in, the restaurant was very inviting. My boyfriend and I were sat at a small table in the back. It was very quiet and in a great spot. Our waiter was absolutely phenomenal and was very attentive to us. He recommended the food he thought was he best and was very honest with us about what we would like. My boyfriend ordered the steak with mashed potatoes and asparagus and I got the gnocchi "a la Bolognese" and both were delicious. Cooked perfectly and the presentation was amazing. For dessert we had an espresso martini, zeppole, and Creme brûlée. All was delicious and again, the presentation was beautiful. We look forward to coming back and eating at this restaurant! Was told by a local friend to visit Hanover St in the North End. Lots of choices for dining in this area but wanted something authentic, but also off the main street. Prezza delivered both and more. Great service, large wine selection and also a lovely menu - including GF options as one of our guests was GF. Easily catered for, which made everything so easy. Food was delicious and we all shared bread, the platter (meats and cheese) as a starter. The main meals were all fabulous, tasty and perfectly portioned - strategically to allow for a lovely dessert and coffee afterwards. I have been going to Prezza since the day it opened. It was my first time back in a while and the place was buzzing! Their menu has their classics that I love: Wood Grilled Squid & Octopus and Wood Grilled Veal Chop (huge). They also had many new dishes. It was the first time I had the Smoked Ricotta Ravioli with Braised Veal; and Scallops, Peas on Risotto with Rabi. The sauces and flavors are are the best!  The wine list is extensive and the 7 year old Brunello was delicious. The Barrel Aged Negroni as a starter really kicked the night off. This is the second time visiting Prezza - and for a bachelorette dinner. The bride to be is very close with the staff and the dinner was unique and delicious. Soup to start - seasonal and fresh fall ingredients. Next a few apps! Arancini, Caprese salad, olives, prosciutto. As an entree the gnocchi and of course for dessert a selection of tiramisu, cannoli, cookies, and other delights! Not a tourist trap - thank you Alan our Lyft driver for getting us off Hanover St. Efrim our waiter, not sure of spelling, made our dinner wonderful. Gnocchi with Bolognese phenomenal, only negative was the ribs that were in with the meatballs, sausage and polenta - meat should have fallen off the bone, not have to be cut off. We came here to celebrate a birthday. The staff and the atmosphere made it the perfect place for a celebration. A member of our group has celiac and were accommodated with several dining options. We selected the calamari and Bibb salad for starts - both were delicious. The Veal chop, gf gnocchi with bolognese as well as the haddock were tasty and satisfying. The wine pairings were perfect. Crispy Shrimp: The shrimp were really large and had a chipotle like sauce. Great combination with the sauce, where neither was overbearing. They both complimented each other perfectly. Pumpkin/Lobster Ravioli: I never thought that pumpkin and lobster, but each bite was incredibly tasty. Prezza really impressed me with this dish. I'm normally a VERY fast eater, but I had to slow myself to indulge in the flavor combination that was entering my palate. Staff: MacKenzie (hostess) and Effrain (server) were very knowledgeable with recommendations and helped with a great wine to compliment the ravioli. read more

We LOVE Prezza. It is by far one of the best Italian restaurant in Boston's North End. We love the shrimp and flower zucchini appetizers, and all of the home made pasta entrees and deserts. Service is always impeccable, and their wine selection is top tier. Prezza never disappoints and you're guaranteed to have an amazing experience and a very special meal. Got the branzino and it was great, the fish was super large and deboned! Perfectly salted in my opinion, it had a very delicate flavor. The string beans on the side were ok. The mushroom risotto app was delicious. However there are not many vegetarian options here. My friend was given a mixed veggie tagliatelle which isn't on the menu, and it looked not very appetizing to be honest. read more

If you love pasta, you must go to Prezza. Their handmade pasta are made by an older lady each morning for the restaurant only. That should already have sold you. I started my meal, upon high recommendation of the waiter, with tuna tartare. Definitely one of the best tuna tartare i've had. Meaty, chewy and flavorful, I would highly recommend it. Then I had the chestnut ravioli, which is seasonal and the reason I went. It reminds me of pumpkin ravioli where you get that sweetness of chestnut when you bite into your ravioli.
