If you're looking for a cozy spot to enjoy some traditional but creative cocktails, Nebo in Boston might just be your new go-to. We stopped by for some after-dinner drinks and were not disappointed. First up was the Filthy Martini--a dirty martini taken to the next level with vodka marinated in olives. The drink was a perfect blend of salty and boozy. There was a mountain of olives behind the bar marinating in vodka, along with strawberries and pineapples for other drinks. Next, we tried the PB&J Martini, a creamy concoction that struck the perfect balance between peanut butter richness and a hint of berry sweetness. It was a dessert in a glass so good I forgot to take a picture of it!! The ambiance was surprisingly really quiet for a Friday night, making it an ideal place to unwind. The bar setup was inviting, with a well-stocked array of liquors and a laid-back vibe that encourages you to stay for just one more. Nebo in Boston is worth a visit if you're in the mood for quality cocktails in a relaxed setting.

Nebo, an Italian spot opened by sisters Carla and Christine Pallotta in 2005, is another fave in Boston. Located in a setting that has a mechanical industrial aesthetic. The patio for an afternoon drink is a must. Stopping in for a drink, I opted for a Manhattan, which was great as always. We didn't eat but I love this spot. The zucchini lasagna is my favorite. The Pallotta sisters' dedication to authentic Italian cuisine is clear.

Authentic Italian Cuisine with clean fresh ingredients! Nebo, along the beautiful Boston Greenway (great outdoor seating too), is more than just an Italian restaurant. It's sophisticated, yet deeply familiar. From the bustling open kitchen to the friendly chatter, it's like an invitation to a family dinner. The menu is a testament to the restaurant's celebrated sister-chef owners and a masterclass in classic Italian dishes passed down from their mom's Puglia region of Italy. I can't get enough of the amazing appetizers. We take the family style approach- ordering many- making sure everyone gets their favorites! These dishes are reminders of what my family ate growing up! We had the crispy yet creamy arancini, perfectly golden spheres of mushroom cheese risotto with a touch of chestnut honey glaze- (I asked for a bit of marinara on the side!!) The Timballo di Melanzana was outstanding; and our family favorite - the fritto misto-filled with perfectly cooked mix of calamari shrimp and smelts! Yet I couldn't leave without tasting 1-2 pizzas (Tradizionale & the Gino) cooked to perfection! The "stand at attention" crispy crunchy thin crust- never soggy or limp!! Hands down the best pizza in all of Boston!! (Hint: buy a few extra to take them home for lunch!) Entrees: My husband had the classic Cioppino with tons of fresh fish in a light tomato base (don't forget the side of amazing crunchy grilled homemade bruschetta) and I went with the fresh, house-made pasta - Spaghetti vongole! Delicious!!! Do NOT pass on dessert! The Spumoni Sundae will knock your socks off as will the espresso gelato! If you happen to go for lunch - hands down- order the Spuckies! Our service was excellent (Michael) attentive, happy and professional! A great night out!! Nebo is always home to me!

We were looking for a quick , easy Italian dinner spot and decided on Nebo! The service was fast and the food was pretty good. If you are looking for an amazing mocktail section come here - they have the best I've ever seen! Also if you are gluten free this is definitely a great option! I got the Bianca Pizza it was really tasty. To share we got polenta which was very heavy but tasty! Finished our date with an ice cream sundae!

Came here for a private party. Drive in and parking super easy. Atmosphere is calming. Plenty of natural light from the huge windows. Staff were awesome and tended to everyone's needs. The food was delicious. Must try the goat cheese, mushroom and caramelized onion pizza. Also their mascarpone cheese and in house apricot jelly is a must. Definitely be back

Went to Nebo last week and what a great diner! Our server recommended a nice bottle of wine which we loved. We started with the Caesar salad and the Polo Con Scampi for appetizers best I've ever had then we shared the Zucchini Lasagna(I see how this beat Bobby Flay) Fried Seafood Platter and a Gino pizza!! everything was great! The atmosphere was wonderful. I can't wait to go back next month for my friend's birthday!!

We went on a late Saturday afternoon. The place was not crowded at all. Plenty of room to sit. The ambience is really a 10. Very warm and cozy. I love the fact that they use real candles. Exposed brick and hard woods. Views of the city out the front windows. Very nicely done. We sat at the bar, and everyone who served us was excellent. Just very friendly and hospitable. They had plenty of gluten-free and dairy free options which was a plus. The food is expensive as to be expected considering the location. The food was very good. I wasn't blown away. But it was good enough to warrant four stars and I can give it a solid recommendation. The person sitting next to me ordered a pizza, which I did not try, but it did look quite delicious. They have a lot of pasta dishes, meatballs, chicken. Not an extensive menu, but some yummy options.

As tables became available, they would call people inside. I ended up at a small table by the bar area. I ordered a small chicken and prosciutto pizza. It was excellent and perfectly cooked as promised. The flavor combination was great: prosciutto, chicken, spinach, ricotta, roasted peppers, sauce, and mozzarella. So big I couldn't finish it. (Hubby was happy because he got to try something too when I got back.) In terms of service, it's the north end so a little brusque, but you'll be happy you came.

We ordered a pizza by phone during the St. Anthony Feast, and the woman who took our order was curt and rude from the start -- I chalked it up to the festival rush. But it got worse when we picked up. We paid $32 for a pizza and asked if we could sit inside to eat it and there were plenty of available tables. We were told no -- inside is table service only, and takeout means you take it and eat elsewhere. Fine, except there was nowhere to sit outside at the festival. When we asked about using one of their own outdoor tables (they had roughly 30, and it was 11:15am, 45 minutes before the festival even started, so the tables were empty), we were told those were reserved for table-service customers only. This was after we'd already spent $32 in their restaurant. Regina's has been around for 100 years, but somewhere along the way they stopped caring about basic hospitality. Paying customers with nowhere to eat their food shouldn't be treated as an inconvenience. We won't be back.

I decided to go with the Wicked Pesto Pizza. It came with the signature crust, pesto base, grilled chicken, blue cheese, asiago, and fresh garlic. I was expecting a delicious pizza packed with flavor. Instead I got something that I had to force myself to eat. I know Boston is not known for their pizza but I was expecting something halfway decent. If it was not for the Uber Eats discount I would have been upset with spending the cash. While the kitchen delivered a solid meal, the service was so profoundly disappointing that it completely overshadowed the food. The culinary side of things easily earns a solid 3.5 out of 5 stars. We ordered a wide variety of items to share, and the highlights included: * The Pizzas: Creative flavor combinations with fresh, high-quality toppings and fantastic crusts. * The Bucatini Pasta: Perfectly cooked and packed with rich flavor. * The Asparagus Appetizer & The Chicken Milanese: Both executed well, flavorful, and cooked to a high standard. Unfortunately, the front-of-house experience was uniformly horrible. For a large party, hospitality can make or break the night, and our server missed the mark at every single turn: * Argumentative & Dismissive: He actively argued with our host regarding an appetizer that had been ordered in advance. When asked about vegetarian substitutions for a sold-out pasta dish, he curtly replied, "Pasta with butter is all we can do"--despite the fact that we could clearly see a wide variety of fresh vegetables being used right on their pizzas. * Inattentive: Dirty dishes piled up on our table, and when we politely asked for them to be cleared, he claimed he needed to get help and walked away completely empty-handed. Our drink orders were rarely checked on or refilled. * Rude to Guests: He displayed visible attitude and put-off body language whenever anyone asked a simple question. This peaked when he was outright rude to one of the young women in our party who simply wanted to put her order in a bit early because she had to leave before the rest of the group. It is a real shame because the ingredients and the kitchen's output are genuinely good. However, between the hostile attitude and the lack of basic service standards, we unfortunately won't be rushing back.

Even though I was born and raised in the Boston area and have resided here for the entirety of my three decade long life, I've never had the original Santarpio's pizza until just now. I remember eating at their second location on Route 1 not long after it opened, but I thought it was just okay. Ever since then I've always thought to myself, "the original has gotta be better, right?" Well, my boyfriend and I finally made our way to the original Santarpio's on a Saturday a little after noon. The place isn't much to look at but was hopping for the weekend lunch rush with almost every table full, and we got put in what appeared to be one of the last available tables in the place. Our order was taken very quickly after sitting down. The menu is strictly pizza with around a dozen toppings to choose from and a handful of grilled meats. That's it. We ordered a pizza with garlic and hot peppers as well as a steak tip skewer. The steak tips were juicy and cooked nicely, but they tasted like they lacked seasoning or marinade so I had to sprinkle some salt and pepper on them. Of course, the pizza is what we were really there for and I can tell you that it checks all the boxes for a classic pizza. The crust is on the thinner, crispier side which I actually prefer. The pie as a whole had a great color and good flavor between the cheese, sauce and toppings. After experiencing it for myself, it's pretty easy to understand why Santarpio's is so highly regarded in the world of pizza. They stick to what they know and they execute it well.

My birthday was noted on the reservation, but there was no acknowledgment of it when I arrived. I'm not expecting a grand celebration, but for a place with such a classy, trendy, upscale reputation, I expected a warmer welcome and at least some acknowledgment of the occasion. To me, service and hospitality are a huge part of the dining experience, and that initial welcome just didn't set the tone I was hoping for on my birthday. A heads-up if you're driving: there isn't parking immediately nearby, so expect to walk a little. Also, pay attention once you're on the street because GPS can be a little misleading when trying to locate the entrance. Thankfully, our server, Alexia was great! She was very kind, sweet, and attentive. I actually had to tell her myself that it was my birthday, and once she knew, she did what was necessary to acknowledge it and make the occasion feel a little more special. I really appreciated her for that. The food was good as well. I didn't end up trying any of their cocktails, which is unusual for me, especially during a birthday dinner. By that point, the overall experience just hadn't put me in the celebratory mood I had expected when I chose Yvonne's for the occasion. Maybe my expectations were higher because this was somewhere I'd wanted to visit for so long, but hospitality matters to me, especially at an establishment like this. Amanda helped turn things around, and the food was good, but the overall experience still left me disappointed. Will I come back? I'm honestly unsure.
