Nice place to look at. Service is okay, Server well...He took our order. Can't say that he was very nice, polite, etc. we started with the Beef Ragu appetizer. Can't say that I was a fan. It was said to contain Beef, red wine ragu, and risotto. It basically tasted like rice, with a breading on it. Could have skipped it and been happier. I also ordered a blood orange margarita, which came in a martini glass and was pretty decent, if you don't count the nearly complete absence of alcohol. For dinner we ordered the Chicken Marsala with Mushrooms, and the Beef in Chianti. Both lacked flavor. And by lacked, I mean seriously lacked. As I looked around I could see others adding salt and pepper to their dishes as well. As for the pizza, (We ordered Pepperoni) it was, in a word- bad. There was an odd taste to it, which happened to be all of the taste it contained. We literally both took 2 bites of the same slice and no more. We threw it away after leaving the restaurant. Portions were the right size for sharing late night on a reduced appetite. Food was tasty, lasagna and fried cheese squares. Cheese squares didn't seem hand made but lasagna could have been. We were there just before closing but staff was still friendly albeit tired. read more

HORRIBLE SERVICE - DONT BOTHER COMING HERE!!! The food was decent but the service is TERRIBLE!! My mom and I ordered some specialty drinks and a Gorgonzola and prosciutto pizza and they brought the pizza out not even sliced. How are you supposed to eat a pizza when it's one giant piece? Nobody gave us plates either so after waiting for the waitress to come back for 10 minutes I finally got up myself and brought the pizza back to the kitchen to have them actually slice it while the waitress is standing behind the bar texting on her phone. I finished my cocktail and would have ordered another one if anyone cared to come back and check on us. Even after we were done eating we had to move all the empty plates to the table next to us cuz clearly nobody knows how to do their job here. We waited for over 30 minutes just to get the check! So we decided to go here for a quick bite before our night out. We got seated pretty quickly, even though the restaurant was quite full. After a while, a waitress asked us what we wanted, I then asked for the menu (I was very tempted to ask her if I could play tennis but I thought that it would be better to be pleasant). She quickly brought us the menu and asked us if we wanted drinks/ starters and then asked what we wanted for mains - I don't think she understood we hadn't seen the menu before. She gave is a bit more time whilst putting our drinks and starters order through. Then came another waitress to take our order for our mains. I thought it was a bit peculiar that we kept on seeing different waiting staff and I told her we had already put an order for our drinks and starters. Then came the drinks, followed closely with our starters. So far, so good. Feeling a bit rushed but ok. A third waitress was then carrying our mains whilst we had just started our starters. She realised this and took the dishes back to the kitchen. Once we finished our starters, the empty dished are collected (before I even finished chewing on my last bite) and she promptly brought our mains. And guess what - they had been waiting in the kitchen. Therefore arrived cold. I told her straight away and she took 2 out of 3 of them back to the kitchen - and didn't ask about the 3rd one or didn't even leave any time for my partner to say anything. Our original waitress had a conversation with the 2nd waitress as she hadn't inputted our order for our main correctly on their system. To her defence, she was explaining how to do it properly to her colleague to avoid any similar situations in the future. Then our mains came back. Clearly just microwaved. The leaves on top of our gnocchis looked very sad, the pesto had splattered on the side of the plates, and more importantly the gnocchis now had a rubber like consistance. What a shame, they looked so nice on the picture!! I had one, but couldn't eat more - i don't like tasteless rubbery stuff. When the waitress came to take our plates away, she asked me if I wanted a fresh plate or something else from the menu which i declined. She went to get her manager and explained the situation to him. He offered me the same thing, and an extra drink. I also refused (and did so in a very polite and calm manner, i did not want to create a scene nor wanted any extra attention). When he brought our bill, he had taken my dish and the side vegetables away, which was a nice gesture. Overall, it was quite a disappointing experience as I couldn't eat my food!! There are some issues to be sorted: waiting staff need to be trained properly and so does the kitchen staff! However, there is a lot of good will and most people want the customers to have a pleasant experience. read more

I walked in and ordered a pepperoni pizza. I walked all the way back to my hotel to find out they gave me just a cheese pizza. I called the store to have them refund my order or deliver a pizza to my hotel and they said they didn't deliver and could only refund my card if I walked back to the restaurant. I was also offered "a discount" on another pizza which isn't helpful when leaving London early in the morning. They are rubbish and incompetent. Avoid them. Go to Pizza Express down the street instead. Wish I had. read more

Before sitting in on a BBC radio recording across the street, we headed here for supper. The restaurant is huge and surprisingly quiet, you cannot hear the busy street at all. The service was lovely and our food was quite delicious. They had a few seasonal specials too which were fantastic. I was a bit annoyed that the tables were so incredibly close to each other. Was seated at a table immediately, but then left unattended for 15 minutes while other tables were served, cleaned and attended to. Came time to order, no burrata (Sunday at 7 PM?). Ordered and food came quickly but they seemed perturbed that I asked for the pizza to be cut into slices. On top of this, let me add, finished my meal and just sat with a table of a used plate and serving platter to watch other tables be cleared and my server drool and smile at any table with women while h walked by me multiple times. Very nice restaurant just by euston station. Was greeted by a member of staff and shown to our table. We ordered prosecco cocktails and tap water. For my main i ordered lasagna and garlic bread. It was very nice. The portion was large and i couldn't finish it. I ordered a side of garlic bread. It was enough for me but for the size it was abit over priced at £4.25. All the staff were friendly and helpful. The restaurant and toilets were very clean. Would go again when im in london. Beats the usual m&s sandwich i would usually buy read more

Came here with my coworkers because we were staying at a nearby hotel and wanted a quick meal in close proximity. We came in around 7pm on a Friday, and they were packed, but luckily we didn't have to wait long for a table. This place isn't far from the train station which is also nice. We were seated at a table near the bar area so there was a lot of traffic behind my seat. We ordered drinks to start, which it was a nice amount of options. We also ordered individual Caesar salads without the eggs. They were a nice size salad so if you are also ordering a regular meal I would recommend getting the salad to share. We also got bruschetta which was very tasty. It was kind of different, on pita bread with large slices of tomatoes but still very good. We all ordered pizzas which were very good. We were too full for dessert but they did have some good dessert options. read more

Just got off a plane from the USA and when I got to my hotel I was hungry and Prezzo was right around the corner. I had tried the Prezzo in Edinburgh last year on a previous trip and had a good experience so I gave this one try. Based on my two experiences, Prezzo is a good choice for Italian comfort food - the usual suspects - pizza, spaghetti bolognese, spaghetti and meat balls, etc. All of which are well done. The spaghetti carbonara was very good with prosciutto as well as pancetta and a creamier than usual sauce. I am going to try that at home. They have some dishes which are offered with a light option which consists of a small portion of pasta and a small salad - good idea. Atmosphere is clean and cheerful and service was efficient and quick. The food is pretty standard Italian, nothing exotic but well executed. They have a modest wine list. I visited this branch twice in the last 5 months. The recent visit was not as good as the first one. The Crab Cakes on out first visit had big chunks of fresh crabs and had excellent flavour and texture. This time it was a bit mushy. Spaghetti with King Prawns was very tasty. Proscuitto Funghi Pizza was lovely. They were out of gelato (can you believe it???), so we tried Chocolate Hazelnut Cheesecake which was way too sweet and gluey. We should have ordered the reliable Tiramisu. I still prefer this branch to other ones we visited. read more

The honeycomb cheesecake!!! to die for... and coming from a cheesecake NOT-A-FAN.. .this is reliable!!! small for what it charges, and worth every calorie! the wild mushroom pasta dish with pesto is beautiful, and super filling, so is the goat cheese baked fussilli (that sounds like a casserole) but more of a pasta with grilled veggies and some rinded goatcheese pieces on top... with all of this goodness comfortably swimming in ... you guessed it... evoo... though not sure about the "v" part. the chili oil DOES add a lil spice, so always a welcome addition. the lighter menu (seems to be new) is quite filling for its light-sounding-calorie-offer flatbread pizzas look yumm! still wouldn't leave without having cheesecase, so might be worth having a meal in reverse order! This used to be my go to end of the day dinner place when I was a freelancer working in London, before heading home to glorious Bath! I have fond memories here. It always felt a bit posh back then and maybe I was a tad over-impressed by the slightly snooty service and the buzzin' business types wining and whining. Now I see it as it is; just another decent chain restaurant where I can sit, read the paper, relax and catch up with myself over some good food and wine. My last trip I sampled my first ever pizza from here. It was real good ... a bit huge for one but so good I scoffed it all. They have a strange rating system for their pizza, basically regular or VIP - I'm not sure there's a difference; or there's a lighter option for folks watching their calories. I had the VIP, which is hardly any difference price wise to the regular but is apparently made by a posher chef - but hell, this is just a pizza so how hard is it? I think it's a bit of pricing BS to be honest! Had a glass of house red too which was also really nice - gluggable for sure! When I got the bill it was irritating the 'house red' was large size and priced among the most expensive tho - bad form IMO! The service was otherwise prompt, Italian style efficient yet a little cold. Overall, this Prezzo has always been a safe bet for me and I'll continue to use it now and again. This was followed by chocolate hazelnut cheesecake which was very rich. They should have used better chocolate and cheese. Too sweet. Wow, I'm surprised I haven't reviewed this place considering it was the first restaurant I ever ate at in London last year. As I remember we were seated right away and I believe we went on a Thursday so just to give an idea. I had mushroom risotto, which is my go to dish at Italian restaurants normally, and it was divine :) As I remember my friend had chicken and really enjoyed his also. One nice thing about this that they might have added just recently is a wide variety of light choices, which by the sound of them seem quite good and all under 650 calories for the diet-conscious :) read more

A busy place that was well run. They had a queue going out of the door yet the young staff held it together admirably last Saturday night. The pizzas were suitably tasty and we split a starter of olives. Dessert was a slice of honeycombed cheesecake each (!). My only gripe was the price. A 2 1/2 course Italian with no booze for twenty quid a head? Maybe I've been spoiled with all the promotions of recent but it seemed a lot. Perhaps I should of printed off some vouchers but perhaps they should look at this as well? Certainly worth a visit - just get those cheap food vouchers first. I went there with a friend from work and we both ordered a healthy pizza with salad. We decided to also get garlic bread, although I wish we didn't as it ended up being just bread with a smear of garlic oil and was dry. I have definitely had better garlic bread from Tescos for 80p. The pizza and salad were nice but for the price I paid I have had better. We also printed out a 20% voucher even selecting this store but they said that they didn't except it there and it wasn't part of the promotion. When I asked why it would let us pick this branch and get the voucher he had no explanation and said that the computer wouldn't let let get us the discount. I don't like writing negative reviews but i really don't want other people to waste their money and not receive the right service that they are due. We didn't have a reservation so we just walked in off the street. The waitress that came to serve us was very polite and said there was a table available to seat 6 which was great, as we have 2 other guests arriving later. So they were very accommodating there but it was really all down hill after that, the service was slow. Cutely was dirty and then food came out cold and to finish it all off the toilets were so filthy i wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. If they could sort out the major broken parts of the process, this could be a really cool restaurant. But i won't be coming back anytime soon read more
