I suggest the owners consult an interior designer on how to mitigate sound and create atmosphere. My steak was very good and the Chimichurri sauce was fine. The potatoes tasted like something from Denny's. The green beans were fine, but lacked the presentation expected in an upscale restaurant. I stopped by Prime 3 purely by chance today while in Leesburg The salmon flatbread special was recommended by Heather my server so I tried it. I was astounded by the presentation, size and flavor of this special. The flatbread was awesome and not over cooked. The flavor of the salmon and green onions were a great mix. I was not rushed to eat ant the ability to sit outside along the sidewalk created an additional layer of unique ambiance to enjoy my time here. This is a great Lilly's place to visit if your looking for a quaint place to have a drink or a wonderful meal. I will definitely be coming back again when family is in town. Three of us decided to try Prime 3 per a recommendation from another business located in Leesburg. We were told to ask for the owner, who was very nice and informative about the menu, their specialty items and wine assortment. They do have a very educated Sommelier that helped with wine selection. Most of the items on the menu recommended a wine paired with the food. We arrived as happy hour was wrapping up and they recommended appetizers and wine was half price. We had the fried calamari and potato croquettes per their recommendation. Both were good. The calamari being a little tough, but still a nice dish. Not sure I would get either again as the entrees are large enough. Entrees included prime rib, double cut pork chop and skirt steak with rice and beans. All were very good! Can't say best I have ever had but definitely a nice change for a meal. Rice and beans were amazing and they told us they were from the chefs grandmothers recipe. Overall a very nice meal and we will definitely go back to try seafood items and other dishes. Not to mention the nice selection of wines. Limited number of wines by the glass. I've had prime rib at all the country clubs and always disappointed. The chain steak houses are better but not by much except Texas Roadhouse. I followed the reviews and decided on Prime 3 where we brought family visiting from up north. Well, this is the best prime rib dinner ever. Three of us had the 12 oz cut which was plenty. Cooked to perfection, great flavor and texture plus melt in your mouth. Believe our server was Lexi. She was amazing. The manager and the 2 owners all stopped by to chat and ask if they could be of service. Wife had the diver scallops which were top shelf. Friends invited us out to try this new upscale steak restaurant in Leesburg. We arrived at 6:30 for a 6:45 reservation. The restaurant was not busy, we were seated immediately. We were all excited to have an upscale dining experience with cocktails, wine and a good meal. To summarize, the service was very slow and the food was average and totally not worth the money. Eventually our server arrived at our table, gave us the history of the 3 local physician owners and took our drink orders. Eventually our drinks arrived. Our server asked if we'd like a minute to enjoy our cocktail before ordering dinner..we said yes...bad idea! Eventually our server returned to take our order. The other couple was excited to have the table-side prepared Ceasar Salad. When the server arrived with the preparation cart, she announced the lettuce was wet and wanted to replace it. Eventually she returned with a new bowl of lettuce and prepared their salad. At that point our server brought out some bread and a dipping oil plate. The dipping oil concoction was good but not enough bread for 4 hungry patrons. And there we sat, patiently. It was a little after 7pm. Our meals arrived at 8pm. Sorry, I was already chewing on my napkin! My wife had the Stuffed Peppers which was actually two small under cooked bell peppers sitting on a plate of pasty rice. That was it. I had the Ribeye (market price..ouch) with roasted potatoes and asparagus. The steak was ok, medium as I had ordered but barely warm. The roasted potatoes were mushy and the 3 asparagus spears were tasteless and under cooked. My friend ordered the prime rib (again MP...double ouch) which was cold and tasteless. He had a couple of bites. He didn't even take the rest home to his dog. His wife had the giant meatballs appetizer as her entrée. Her word was "unremarkable". About half way through our meal a manager-type person approached out table to ask how we were enjoying out meal. The dead silence should have told him something. When my wife described her disappointment with her meal. He was unimpressed and politely excused himself. As we were waiting for our check, another gentlemen approached our table and asked the same question, this time standing next to my friend who had ordered the prime rib. My friend asked if he happened to be one of the owners, to which he replied yes. My friend repeated his description of his dinner as did my wife. He response was to invite us to try them again... We so wanted to give a glowing not glaring review of our much-anticipated meal. Probably won't be back. Too expensive for what you get in food and service. Terrible experience. Service was awful. Management was worse! Had to ask if we could order drinks after waiting for our sever. Never received our salads the side item was replace because they were out of the garlic mashed potatoes but we were never asked what we would like to replace and my prime rib was dry and no flavor. RESTAURANT REVIEW: We had an early Valentine's Day meal at Prime 3 in Leesburg with mixed results. The good news: the food was tasty. We started with a pleasant Chardonnay served with bread and herbed olive oil. The bread was average even warmed, but the herbed olive oil was nice. It needed a pinch of salt, but that was easily remedied. Our son enjoyed his meatball appetizer which was generously portioned. He also loved his broccoli and cheddar soup. He raved about his steak which was paired with rice, plantains and beans. My husband wasn't thrilled with his ahi tuna but to be fair he didn't realized ahi is usually served very pink so that was his mistake. He thought the asparagus average. The garlic mashed potatoes were good, but it was a very tiny portion. My diver's scallops were on the small side, but well prepared with a nice sear. I liked the asparagus and mashed potatoes but, again, the portion size was way too small, especially in comparison to the rice which accompanied the steak. We did get a nice lemon sorbet palate cleanser between the appetizers and entrees which was nice as well as an interesting lemon hand sanitizing procedure after the meal. The desserts, for me, however, were the real standout. They were all delicious. My creme brulee was perfect with a nice crispy top. Our son enjoyed his New York cheesecake which he said was very smooth. My husband loved his waffles, which were crisply sweet, and the accompanying strawberries and ice cream. Now for the bad news: we waited over an hour for our entrees to come out which was not a pleasant experience. I'm going to give the restaurant a pass because they were extremely busy the night before Valentine's, and they did comp us two free desserts. Still, it was disheartening to see other patrons being served while we waited and waited and waited for our food. The biggest problem with this restaurant, however, wasn't the wait, it was the noise! It's loud inside. So loud we couldn't hear each over talk over the din. So loud, I ended the night with a raging headache. I happen to be particularly sensitive to noise so everyone might not have the same reaction, but my husband and son felt the same and it really did put a damper on the evening. Will we go back? Fantastic wine selection and recommendation on pairing with entree from server. Nice added touches of palate cleanser before entree and warm linen with lemon after meal. All staff attentive and a nice visit from the manager. Musician was perfect, not too loud. Quite honestly one of the best meals and experiences we've had here in Florida. Highly recommend! As far as the food goes, the meatballs and french onion soup were both delicious. but that is where the good stops. The prime rib and New York Strip were both cold, under cooked and tasteless. The same goes for the sides. you could get better service and better quality food going to a franchise such as Texas Roadhouse or Longhorn. There was nothing Prime about this restaurant. The first time we went to Prime 3, my husband ordered the grouper and it was great. It was gulf grouper. The next time we went, we both ordered the grouper and were very disappointed that it turned out to be African grouper which is a lot smaller as the US has fishing size limitations. The wife had a Manhattan 10 dollars for the booze 2 dollars for the mixer. Why not just say the drink is 12 bucks. Mine was a bourbon rocks. 12 dollars for the booze 3 dollars for a rocks pour. There was 1 large cube so I guess that cube was 3 bucks. Again. Why not just charge 15 and call it a day. We both had steaks which were good 57 dollars good? Not so much. Server was good. 11-18-2022 we had a birthday celebration for at Prime 3 610 W. Main St. in Leesburg. It was an easy walk to the restaurant from the free public parking located 1 block away. The restaurant location, outdoor tables and tiny white lights outside all added to a pleasant evening in town. We had a 5 PM reservation for 4, upon arrival at 4:45 PM we were greeted and immediately seated. I loved the décor urban vintage especially the brick wall, and black linens.The live keyboard background music was nice and the restroom was very clean. The meat quality was excellent and cooked as ordered. We ordered Prime Rib, Fillet Mignon & Rib Eye steaks and a pork chop.The Prime Rib cut like butter and melted in my mouth, but the flavors and spices were missing. The Au Ju was awful it tasted like Soy Sauce, I couldn't eat it. Everyone at the table said spices were missing from their meat. The garlic mashed potatoes had good flavor but it looked like they weren't mashed with cream. The steak fries were excellent. The dipping oil was delicious, served with a crusty first-rate bread but the bread was served cold. The side Caesar Salad for 10.00 consisted of 3 lettuce leaves it had delicious dressing but no shaved parmesan cheese and the croutons were nothing special. The waitress was friendly but the wait staff and bus persons weren't efficient they would benefit from additional training. We were there 3 hours because of excessive time between the drink orders, arrival of the meal and then the bill. The worst part was waiting for the bill, it's an understatement to say that the computer was slow. I was ready to jump out of my seat by the time we left. They need to concentrate on resolving the internet connection - computer issues, greater staff efficiency and hiring a chef that uses spices on the beef because the flavors were missing. I think they should do away with the sorbet to cleanse your pallet and the lemon hand washing afterwards. Overall it was a great Friday evening experience but I would rate the restaurant 2 star out of (1-5). We won't be returning anytime soon. read more

This evening was our first dining experience at Prime 3 at the suggestion of friends who had their first experience the night before. The experience was excellent! I ordered the fillet mignon which was melt-in-your mouth delicious and cooked to a perfect medium rare. My husband was also very pleased with his prime rib. My husband who has a cochlear implant was especially pleased that it was so quiet and we could actually have a conversation. When we returned home we realized that the reason we were able to talk with each other without shouting, was because they had no background music... Thank you thank you!
