Well if I could give it a half or zero I would. We are local and have never been here so we wanted to try it, and we regret it. The meat was salty, thin, and chewy. The salad was just sad, Pizza Hut has a better salad bar selection. The potato bar was not great, old baked potatoes and questionable looking butter and toppings. The mashed potatoes were instant and gravy was watery. The best thing was the buns from a package behind the bar. The desert was embarrassing, Hershey chocolate was the only topping for the soft serve and it was in a squeeze container. The other desserts were old and bland. The service was slow but ok. We have gone to the Prime Rib room a dozen times over the past years because we have comps. If we had to pay for the meal we wouldn't go, unfortunately. Definitely make reservations like most said. While waiting for a table I noticed most people had comped meals. We like the salad bar but the potato and veggie section are lacking. I love a nice hot soft baked potato but it's not happening here. Lately, I have just gotten a salad and a roll with my prime rib. The prime rib is decent, but I have had better. The mushrooms are not sauteed by any means.....they are canned. We've been going to the prime rib room for years, when ever we go to laughing we go there. However this last time we went the meal was not what it's been in the past. The service was still very good and friendly, considering we forgot to make a reservation on a Saturday evening. We decided to show up and see if we could get in and they were so nice and got us a table. They had the normal fixing as a buffet so you can have as much salad and all the other stuff as you want and our prime rib was still tasty but it was not hot like you would expect. I think I would probably give it one more chance. If you decide to try it make sure to make a reservation and remember the place is busy and loud but enjoyable. read more

Ate here TWICE during my January 2023 visit to Laughlin. We went on the first night of our stay and made reservations on our way out of the restaurant to return two nights later. The first thing that draws you is the price. It's about $25 per person. This price includes a nice cut of prime rib (there are chicken cordon bleu and salmon options for those who don't eat beef), an all-you-can eat salad bar, baked potato bar and dessert station. The next thing that impressed me was the freshness of the food in the salad bar and the GREAT tasting salad dressings. I had ranch and my sister had blue cheese. Better than some of the finer restaurants in the Los Angeles area. The potato station had your choice of baked, mashed or scalloped potatoes with all the toppings. Their creamed spinach was fabulous! As if that isn't enough, the prime rib was the star of the show. It was tender, flavorful and you get a relatively generous portion. The staff was incredible as well. From the greeters, the waiters the prime rib slicer to the buss staff. Everyone was super welcoming and friendly. I HIGHLY recommend that you visit them if you're out that way. 4 pm Christmas Eve , Reservations are a must and yes , please be patient . I advise you to get a cocktail to enjoy while in line , very nice . They open at 4pm and we were eating by 4:10 , nice. We had our Prime Rib served 4:30 , cooked to perfection . Canned mushrooms , like rubber, I don't understand and to finish with a nice desserts , wrong , it was like all the desserts were old and some even hard to chew. Go elsewhere for dessert. read more

I'm so disappointed in this place. The only good experience we had was the nice woman in front with the glittery nails and the prime rib. The salad bar / sides weren't great. The prime rib was suburb! The service was the worst. A grumpy elderly woman tended like a champ to every table but ours. Yes we were a bit younger than the crowd, but we are still paying customers. The server tended so nicely to everyone else's table , and barely came to our table. She had an attitude when she did approach our table the 2 half ass times she did come over. Every time I am at the Riverside the Prime Rib room is a must! Great meal with outstanding service every time.

Always a good meal and experience, specially for the price. Some of those other steak places prices at other casinos are ridiculous. Cheryl the host is always great and will try to work for you, as they get very busy. A friend of ours tried the fish and said it was very good. We have been there quite a few times and its always good. You do have to get up and get your sides, but at least you get to pick what you want. Then they bring the portable carving station to your table. We've been going to Laughlin for many, many years. Try this. Something a little different, good food and price. read more

We didn't have any reservations and called to see if they would take us after other restaurants stopped service after 8 pm (even though they all had 9pm for closing) . They took us in and sat us right away at a booth which was fairly romantic. It was my gf bday so we were happy they took us in. Food: The Ceaser salad was good and the very least, fresh. I didn't like the dressing in a package but due to Covid, I really would rather not have them touch too many items I will be consuming. The Shrimp cocktail could use a lot of work but no biggie, I was not there for an appetizer. When we got to the main courses, my gf has the crusted salmon and I had the ribeye (medium rare) and both were happy with the plates. We had a baked potato with all the trimmings and some mixed veggies that were cooked perfectly. There was a spinach cream purée? Not really sure what it was but it was good. Lastly, we both had dessert that although nothing epic, it was a perfect way to end the meal. Over all, the staff was really nice and they catered to us to have a nice night. We felt like meat. Made a reservation a few days in advance while traveling. We were seated quickly and service from host to waiter to prime rib carver was great. The salad bar is buffet style and although the quality of food looked yummy it was overall just okay. Typical buffet style type of food. Strangely enough the salad was good but that's hard to screw up. Potatoes and fries were meh. Creamed spinach was yucky and the desert selections were awful but the ice cream was good. Now for the star which is the prime rib. It was waaaayyy too fatty and quite tasteless. We ate around it and left the rest. Mushrooms were good. For $24 it was ok but I wouldn't go back. Laughlin sucks for decent restaurants, it's all over priced second grade food so I always travel over the river to Bullhead where there are better choices. However Don Laughlin's Riverside has a little gem that will blow your mind for amount of food as well as quality of food with a very low price. The Prime-rib Room is fantastic, you need to book a table or you will have a long wait as it is very popular and they only open the phone lines at 2pm. The restaurant opens at 4pm and is usually full by 4.30pm that how popular it is. The Prime rib is cooked to perfection and has all the usual accompaniments as well as a great salad bar, pretty good cooked vegetable selection and baked potato bar that are all buffet. After the meal if you have space there are deserts, pies and ice cream. Their drink selection is unfortunately limited to California wines, in my opinion the worst in America and local beers so see if you can bring your own wine and pay a corkage fee. If you read my reviews, you will see that I like to do positive reviews. So we were in the mood for some Prime Rib so the Prime Rib room seemed like a good idea, right? My wife read that we needed reservations so she called us in. When we got here and I saw the salad bar and the price to enter was $22.99 on a Friday night ( I expected to be paying more), I was pleasantly surprised to say the least. So we found out that you get your salad first (it was an OK salad) not too big, then after you eat that you go up and get your baked potato/ and or vegetables and then the "carver" asks you how you want your prime rib cooked (or fish/chicken option) and if you want sautéed mushrooms (they're from a can) and horse radish and he prepares it from his cart next to your table. It was a fare size (and I always get to finish my wife's) but there is only one size fits all. The negatives are that the potato and vegetables were not hot, just warmish. I would have liked my meat to have been a little warmer too. As for the waiter and carver, they were excellent, checked on us often and our carver James was very whitty. read more

While in town this last week, we met with friends here for dinner. We hadn't been before & it was a friend of ours, Bruce who knew it, as he lives in Bullhead & made the reservations for the 6 of us. We all arrived early & it was really nice seeing everyone. As for the restaurant & our meal. It's all you can eat salad bar, all you can eat potato bar & all you can eat deserts. The only thing that's not, is the main course, Prime Rib. Now as for the Prime, not the best we've ever had, but good & a decent piece as well. The salad bar, deserts & potatoes bar were all fine. As for the value, this is where they really shine, $20.00 each, a bargain, even at $30.00, it would be well worth it. However, Bruce picked up our tab, just to make it an even better experience. The Prime Rib was very good nice big piece. All the other sides were great. The mushrooms that accompany the Prime Rib are canned. Kinda strange but tasted ok. Will go back again. But when we got up to get our desert, the bus person had started cleaning off our table and threw away half my daughter's Prime Rib, that she wanted a doggie bag for. No one asked if we were finished was only gone 30 seconds to get our deserts. We did manage to get our forks off our plates to eat our desert. What a nice find! We saw the signs for dinner and a movie and decided to try it. The food was fantastic and for $2 extra you got a movie voucher to be used in the next 72 hours. Table manager Terran or Teran was super rude! We had requested a window seat in advance and she said we didn't tell her that we wanted one. It was on the reservation request and we asked when we paid up front. She was very rude and said that's she'd have to wipe down the table if we moved tables. There were several tables open by the window. Later she turned over her name tag so we couldn't see her name. We later asked for her name from a server and they weren't fond of her either. Went to Laughlin for the River Run. It was my first time there and we were looking for a place for dinner that wasn't a "regular chain." Came across the Prime Rib Room on Yelp and decided to give it a try. It was phenomenal! $18.99 a person. You start with the salad/vegetable bar buffet. Bread, mashed potatoes, baked potatoes, salads, creamed spinach, corn, rolls...and once you have your sides, they come around with your choice of prime rib, chicken cordon bleu or fish. The prime rib was so tender, you barely needed a knife. Service was great as the servers were very attentive in refilling drinks and checking in with the table regularly.
