It finally did come and it was solid. Nothing to write home about but a solid option on the strip for some food and drinks. Wouldn't say I'd go seek it out, but if you're looking around and need decent prices and food and can't decide or everywhere is packed, you'll be safe with it.

My significant other and I had dinner there tonight for the third time since October. Our first visit was wonderful. We celebrated my significant s BD. The food and service were excellent. Upscale steak house. Tonight however was extremely disappointing. We ordered a porterhouse steak medium rare that we were to share after ordering a few appetizers. When the steak arrived and we cut into it, we realized that it was as extremely rare if not raw in parts. Our waiter was a sweet person named Andre. He promptly took our meal back to the kitchen. We " assumed " that anew steak would be prepared.. to our dismay, 5 minutes later, our original steak was returned, knife marks and all. Apparently the kitchen " cooked " it for a few more minutes. We were both surprised that in this upscale steakhouse, that they"regifted " our original steak. A few minutes later the manager came over to see how we were, we explained how surprised we were that this original piece of meat was served to us, dried out and sliced. The manager said that he would take care of us/it. We completed our meal and then ordered a dessert to share. When our check arrived we were charged in full for everything ordered. The manager never appeared again. We were so shocked that despite what we were told, nothing was done to rectify the situation. We will never visit this establishment again. So disappointed in a place of this so called caliber. We would not recommend this place to any of our friends, family or business associates read more

Prime is truly the best steakhouse we've had the pleasure of dining at in quite some time. The atmosphere is classy and elegant, with rich dark woods and impeccable white tablecloth service. Our server went above and beyond, providing detailed descriptions of the various dishes on the menu. We both opted for the filet and lobster, which were cooked to perfection. To start, we enjoyed the escargot as an appetizer, which was delicious. However, it is worth noting that dining at Prime comes with a hefty price tag. With just the two of us, our bill totaled over $500 for the evening. While we are fortunate enough to afford such indulgences, I must admit that I will be cutting back on a few meals during this trip to make up for the guilt of splurging at Prime. Overall, Prime is a fantastic choice for a special occasion or a luxurious night out. The quality of the food and service is top-notch, but be prepared to pay a premium for the experience. read more

The apps were very good and the sides but the entrees were not very good. The steak was ordered med rare and canes med well Hardly any pink The lobster tail not juicy but dry and crispy. I believe it was held to long under the heat lamps as the tables on either side of us received their food before us and we had ordered before them. Just had one of the worst dining experiences ever in Key West. This place hIred a failed restaurant owner as hostess and she is both rude and incompetent. When we told Aaron, manager, that we would never return, he acted like he could care less. Apparently, this place no longer cares about anyone local, and believes that tourists will suffice as customers. We had a great waiter, but that could not overcome mediocre food and rude behavior. read more

He even promised that if we ever shouted his name while in trouble around town, he would come bail us out, just once. As fate would have it, my girlfriend and I were later surrounded by seven seashell-wielding gangsters, two suspicious pelicans, and a man dressed entirely in inflatable flamingos. The gangsters demanded our wallets, our leftovers, and proof that we had properly enjoyed the ocean view. Just as I prepared to defend our honor, I shouted, "BIG LOUI!" into the night. A foghorn blasted, a nearby conch shell began playing the opening notes of "Eye of the Tiger," and a black 1969 Chevy Camaro came roaring around the corner. It had flame decals, orange dice in the mirror, and what appeared to be a tiny disco ball hanging from the antenna. Big Louie stepped out wearing a sequined tuxedo and carrying two limited-edition baseball bats signed by Babe Ruth, Elvis Presley, and possibly one of the pelicans. He tossed me one, struck a heroic pose, and together we performed a ten-minute, perfectly choreographed defensive dance routine that sent the gangsters fleeing into the mangroves. The pelicans applauded. The inflatable flamingo joined our party. Big Louie charged us exactly one rescue and then disappeared into the night as confetti fell from the sky. It was a wonderful experience.
