Saw this taqueria pop up when I was looking into near by shops, and I saw that their menu is similar to Taco Los Cholos. As a fan of Los Cholos, I was curious to see if these tacos would be as good since the shop is a lot closer. First impression when walking in was that the shop was clean and bright. It was fairly busy when I stopped by, but I still managed to find seating. Easy parking out front and very spacious. The cashier was really friendly and polite. She asked if it was my first time (it is) and offered an agua fresca on the house. I opted for pineapple and it was really nice and refreshing! I also noticed that there were protein options offered at Primecut that aren't offered at Los Cholos, one of which was octopus. So I ordered my usual order (arrachera taco and a ribeye keto) plus the octopus taco. The food took a bit of time to come out, which isn't an issue for me, but just to note for anyone who's in a rush or impatient. It was busy, as mentioned, and the restaurant is family owned with a smaller staff. However, the food was absolutely worth the wait! The octopus taco was so delicious; smokey, tender, and absolutely flavorful. They do not skim on the protein here. Each of my tacos were stuffed. The arrachera was a touch dry, but nothing the sauce bar cannot fix; it's hardly a dent in the experience since the flavors made up for it. The ribeye keto was amazing. I asked for medium rare and it came out just that; perfectly seasoned and juicy. Octopus: 10/10 Arrachera: 9/10 Ribeye Keto: 10/10 Pineapple Agua Fresca: 8/10 Needless to say, this is going to be my new go-to for tacos. It's so much closer than having to drive to Eastvale with tacos just as good, if not better (and bonus for the octopus one!). They def earned themselves a regular. read more

First timer! Got the arrachera and the tripa tacos. Arrachera was good! Definitely a good amount of meat on the tacos as well. I do wish it was cut a little finer but other than it was great. The problem was the tripa. Tripa is my fav and I'm very picky with it but danggggg was this tripa the chewiest I've ever had. I asked for it extra crispy to avoid that issue but didn't help. This was seriously the worst tripa I've had. I sadly had to throw away my taco because there was no way I could even swallow it. Maybe it was a tough batch? Idk but that's why I'm giving it a 3/5. Really good New Mexican restaurant here in Rancho, the burrito was large, came out fresh, and was extremely well seasoned and tasty. Their salsa bar had a big selection of salsas that were all very good. Debbie was the highlight of our visit ! My cousin and I were there for the first time and Debbie walked us through how everything worked and gave us great recommendations. We had to take our food to-go but for the brief time we spent there it was obvious that most people order and eat there, very inviting and lots of seating. Definitely MUST try! My husband came on his own yesterday and loved it so much he brought me today. The place is clean, nice ambiance music plying and Maddie at the register had great customer service and gave us advice and suggestions that wdre very helpful. Everything we ordered was absolutely delicious! Tacos: Asada, mushroom, shrimp & adobada. Wow each one had amazing flavors and will definitely order again. Rancho is lucky to have a Primecut Taqueria. If you love Tacos Los Cholos or you never got a chance to visit the one in Eastvale because of the long lines, you can just come to Primecut Taqueria. It's cleaner, there's plenty of seating, family friendly and pretty much identical menu items and salsas. There's indoor and outdoor seating and parking was easy to find, however, I suspect you'll have to park next door once it gets busy. My go-to's are one pork belly taco with the orange sauce and a costilla de res mulita, but everything here tastes great. I'd suggest going now before the rest of this town figures it out and there's a line out the door and it is worth the wait. They opened on the 4th of September and my sister was able to order via Door Dash. She went in the afternoon on the 5th and said there was no line and I went in the evening close to closing and no line. Inside it's super clean, there's a beautiful mural on the wall and it's fast-casual. There's both indoor and outdoor seating and there were about 2 flat screen televisions playing sports. I picked up my order and went straight to the salsa bar and started packing my salsas and Debbie the owner said hello to me and asked if I'm from the area. I told her no, I'm from OC and I've been to the original Tacos Los Cholos on State College, the other one in Fullerton and the Primecut in Placentia. I say all that because there's lore baby! I won't spill the tea here, but trust, it's the same great quality I've experienced at all of the locations I listed. They offer a variety of meats here that you wouldn't normally find (porkbelly, costilla de res, lobster, filet mignon, other high end meats) and the typical meats you would expect (asada, chicken, al pastor) and they're never stingy with their meats. I order their mulita and it's big and packed with meat. I once got a mulita at Dos Caballeros and it was a joke compared to this place. Some popular items that are out of the ordinary that I've seen people get are the Mexican pizza (it's pretty big, great for groups), papas locas (baked potato, fully loaded, choose your meat), and this location has nachos which Tacos Los Cholos does not. They also have keto tacos, salad and tortas. I've never had a bad meal from here or any of the other locations (Tacos Los Chlos & Prime Cut) and I've been going for over 7 years to the OC locations. They also recently opened a location in downtown Anaheim, which is down the road from Disneyland. My friends and I usually hit up the Tacos Los Cholos in Fullerton on the weekend after a night at Disney or Knott's and it's always packed and hard to find a table, but now that there's a Prime Cut in Downtown Anaheim and it's closer to Disney, I'd definitely go there instead. The grand opening for the Rancho location is on the 12th and the sooner you visit, the better. read more

They were friendly and gave us a sticker with their names so we can remember them when writing this review. We ordered two asada, two ribeye, two adobada, and one chorizo tacos. They were delicious and tender with plenty of salsa options at their salsa bar. The ambiance is nice and there were TV's inside for entertainment while dining. Rancho really needed a good taco spot, and I think we finally have one! Compared to the newer taco spot that opened down the street, Tequileros, Primecut is the obvious choice for me. The meat tastes high-quality, is super juicy, and they definitely don't skimp on it--the tacos are packed! I also really love the flavor of the tortillas they use. Another huge plus is the salsa bar, which has a great variety of salsas with different flavors and spice levels. You can tell they're still getting the hang of the speed and flow of orders since they're new, but that's completely understandable and I'm sure it'll improve with time. The inside can get packed pretty quickly, but they also have a small outdoor patio, and I'd have no problem ordering takeout either. Overall, such a great addition to Rancho and definitely a taco spot I'll be coming back to! read more

I got a different cashier this time. His name was FREDDY. He handled my order like he'd been waiting for it. Calm, fast, no wasted words -- just that little half-smile when he pointed me towards the salsa bar and said "cuidado, the Habanero at the end está bien picoso." Freddy is easy to recognize: he's tall, clean, unfairly good-looking in that "I work at a taqueria and somehow still look like the main character" way.
