First, this is NOT the same Primo's from before 2020! It was much better then. Same location but much different. My order was ready on time but incomplete. I had sides on my order as I ordered online and they were on receipt but not in bag. Bread on so- called "South Philly pork" hoagie was drenched in oil and mayo which were 2 of the sides I requested(I went back in after checking bag in car for them). Potato salad had uncooked potatoes mostly and no seasoning recognizable to taste and hard as my head. I threw out. Will definitely not recommend this location to anyone. Hardly any oregano and there was no blk pepper as online description described included for this hoagie(Nellie) The young lady handing out pick up orders seemed confused and hurried but was very pleasant and accommodating once I returned for my sides. And I arrived on time prior to noon! Whoever made my sandwich needs to learn how to make them better. Yes it was clean and a nice looking location. I had not been to this one in few years actually thought about somewhere else but thought "Why not try Primo today for lunch?" I will NOT be returning. You live in Dresher..head to Nick's Pizza around corner close to Shop n Bag or Sam's Italian Market in Willow Grove just past The Promanade. Today as a Primo's member was highly disappointed with the quality of the "primos" standards for the Italian sandwich I ordered and received. It was made with little meat and cheese and heavy lettuce. Over $20 and tipped to unwrap when I got back to the office and made the decision never to return I'll advise all to do the same. Every time my family get food from here something is wrongs! We've been to two other locations many times, and never had a problem. I order an Abruzzi 2 weeks ago and they asks me questions about how to make it, that don't relate to it at ALL! Then when I got it the 'hoagie', if you can even call it that. The thing only had a couple scraps of meat no broccoli at all! Literally what the hell am I paying for. Today we ordered an another Abruzzi for a second chance. An again something was wrong. First she asked questions about tomatoes, lettuce, and sauces. This item has nothing that needs to be added. After the hoagie was done we sat in the car opened it up, and was disgusted! Inside winding out was a black hair.(we both had brown and little colored) inside was hastily made made so I'm not to upset about that. I was happy she at least remembered to put the broccoli in. Conclusion, never come here. The don't people know how to tie their hair up, or know how to make a hoagie. Got a promo code texted to me and went to the Dresher Primo Hoagies and was greeted by the self proclaimed owner. Before placing my order I attempted to show her the text I received so she would be aware as I placed my order. She was rude beyond words then after I was like I was just trying to show you she dismissed it I told her how rude I felt she was being and without even batting an eye she walked away to help another customer. Have always enjoyed coming to this location in the past, must be under new ownership as I've never seen her or anyone else there in previous experiences. Will never be back, there are other places to go for a good/better hoagies that are close like Sam's Italian Market, which is where I'm headed now! read more

I was surprised to enjoy a cheesesteak at this Primos. First one I've ever been to that served cheesesteaks and not just hoagies. I regret not taking a picture but it was absolutely delicious. This rating is not for the food but for the service. First, whenever we call in an order for our office they are extremely rude. They always give us a hard time for ordering on the phone. When our receptionist called in our order, he told her "order online".. and then when she tried to order drinks and chips with our sandwiches he told her to pick them up when we went to pick up the food.. mind you we were asking for delivery. I'm sorry, I guess you get too many customers that you don't want our business, although I cant imagine who would want to put up with rude staff, no matter how good the food is. Today, we ordered for our entire office (almost $300 for one order!) at 11:30 and he had told us delivery would be at 12:30. It is currently 1:45 and no food to be seen. First time trying primo hoagies! My husband thought I was crazy since I lived in philly all my life and never had a primo hoagies (when there are primos every 10 minute of my drive). The menu was little overwhelming for me and I wasn't sure where I should start. I ordered the roast beef since I love roast beef and you can't really go wrong. The hoagie was nicely packaged with perfect amount of meat and toppings but I wasn't a fan of their hoagie roll. It seemed little too chewy for my liking. Since it was my first time there, I was putting the soda and pickles on the counter to pay all at once but the cashier rushed me off and said I pay after I get my food...which I thought it was little rude. Ordered 2 cheesesteaks. They were done very quickly, like fast food quickly. Thought it was odd that I didn't see anyone doing anything on the griddle. When I got home about 3 minutes later, they were lukewarm. Seemed like perhaps meat was precooked rather than cooked to order, and not kept hot. Would not order again. I got a Chicken suprimo in a bowl as I have a gluten allergy. I appreciated that option, however, it tasted old and not flavored at all. It in fact tasted more like stale turkey than chicken. I'm not from the Philly area, so hoagies are new to me. As a kid watching The Cosby Show, I could never quite understand why Clair was always getting onto Cliff when he'd eat hoagies at night. I mean, it's a sandwich, and sandwiches aren't too unhealthy, right? After eating at Primo, I can now understand Clair's side. I know what a hoagie is. I'd never given the various Primo locations a second thought because I'd assumed they didn't have much to offer vegetarians. There's plenty, though, if you can get past the section of the menu that groups tuna in with the "Meatless Delights" selection. FYI, they also have a hot eggplant parm sandwich on their in-store menu that isn't posted online. I enjoy Nonna's Veggie -- this is a heavy, filling, more-than-a-sandwich hoagie. The calorie count on the menu board is in the 300s, but there is no way that is accurate. Let's triple that. The sesame seed bread holds thick slices of Provolone, cold breaded eggplant, and broccoli rabe that's deliciously oily and garlicky. Top it with some roasted red peppers and you have the best veggie hoagie I've ever had. This location is always crowded, even when I think I'm going at an off-peak time. And I suspect they don't always make the call ahead orders until the customer shows up. But a sandwich (okay, hoagie) this dense is a once in a while treat that's worth the wait. read more

Called around 6 pm to place a fairly large order 3- 2ft hoagies for an event at my job tomorrow. As I was attempting to place the order the employee on the phone interrupted me and and mentioned that I should not be placing an order this size 1 hour before closing. I found that incredibly rude. An order is an order why would the time I place it matter?! I waited till later because I was not serving them till lunch time tomorrow and wanted them as fresh as possible. Mom also hates tomatoes and lettuce so I made sure to not order that either. Of course she got a seeded roll with lettuce and tomatoes. She is 89 and has very few pleasures in life. She burst out crying and threw the sandwich in the trash. I offered to take it back but she was to upset to eat. I have the receipt and they totally screwed it up. Its not the first time at this location. I feel we deserve our $11.99 back. Mom is still upset today. I wrote a google review they sent a link. The link I was sent to share at primos does not work! So I went to the web site. they want the check number. I have the order number, transaction number, and authorization code. but they want the check number which is not on the email receipt. Well I think this place makes the best subs I have ever had. The fresh Italian bread is the secret and the long hot peppers are sinfully delectable. I always order the ITALIAN DIABLO: Hot Sopressata, Sharp Provolone, Thumanns Capacola & a Blend of Spices minus the cheese and add xtra long hot peppers. How I miss thee. Their hoagies are pretty good, assuming you can get them made correctly. Picked up a call-in order and while I was waiting in line to pickup my order, two people in front of me had order errors. I paid for my order (at a cost about $9 per sandwich for the normal half size ("Primo size"). Two sandwiches and a bag of chips ran $22.xx after tax. Both hoagies were missing items specifically asked for in their order -- one was actually missing both lettuce and tomato. At that cost you'd expect better care taken when making the sandwiches. Not worth the cost. You're better off heading to Lee's -- cheaper and better -- and they take better care of their customers. read more

Don't get me wrong, I love Primos. Yesterday I picked up a veggie Diablo. I understand the eggplant cutlets are pre made and probably delivered frozen. It made it into my sandwich still partially cooked, mushy and wet crust (defrosted?). A flash pan fry would have saved this sandwich. Ingredients are great as with every Primo location. Primo is really one of my favorite spots for a hoagie but the problem with this location is execution. I just finished another sandwich by them made with the wrong ingredients. This is the 3rd time in the last 5 trips that the order was wrong and I order straight from the menu by name so it's not like I'm asking for any special requests. I work right around the corner and go to this shopping center every day at lunch. I really tried to make Primo part of the regular rotation but it is tough to go back again with a 40% success rate on your order. Time to give this location a break and maybe I'll try again if I'm feeling lucky enough to play the odds. read more
