Best hookah and best food i have ever tried before i would definitely recommend this place and for sure I'll go there again

Liked this place as Egyptian Tea room but other than exterior/interior changes the hookah just doesn't hot as well as I feel it should. For the same price of $20 at other lounges I can smoke out of a better hookah...probably won't return for this reason. read more

One of my favorite Hookah lounges. A very relaxing environment during the day and very social and comfortable place at night. Their food is awesome and the hookahs are even better! Nas and Al take care of their customers with top notch service. They make you feel like family especially if you visit often. The place is clean with beautiful colors and nice furniture. Clean bathroom. ATM inside in case you need cash. A great menu with lots of options for food, drinks, coffee and tea. Plenty of hookah flavors to choose from with clean hookahs and hoses, and great coal service. Comfortable indoor and outdoor seating with fast Wi-Fi. If I could give more stars I would. read more

Prince Hookah Cafe is a great hookah lounge. It's central to stores, markets, and SDSU. The staff are great and not once have I had a rude or unpleasant experience. Happy hour prices are great for hookahs because it's only 7.99 which has been the cheapest I can find and I've been to about 10 different hookah lounges in the college area, North Park, and Downtown. The lounge is clean and comfortable. My favorite drink they offer is their mint and cucumber lemonade that they make fresh on the spot. It's amazing! Server with blonde hair did not seem friendly. Maybe it was late and she was tired... but there was No greetings, smiles, or thank you's at all with her. Made my night bad with her vibe. Can't believe my friend even tipped for her "service". Parking was nonexistent.. had to park all the way down the neighborhood next to it. Food was decent but there are plenty other decent places nearby... with proper parking and customer service. read more

This place is great because it's not your typical noisy party hookah lounge. It has light, comfy seating and is nice and quiet for studying. The hookah is good but not great sadly. And I don't like saying this because I have friends who work here but I can't lie. read more

I love this place. So. So. Much. The owner is really nice and friendly. He loves to joke around with everyone and so does his workers. Hookah is a tricky thing to review. Like food, it depends on everyone's preference, except harder to judge the quality. There are flavors that are better suited for certain weather. I used to hookah at home and pack my own bowls and although most were good, some batches of shisha can be faulty. However, I don't have any complaints here. I have tried numerous flavors and there are some I don't like and some I love. Again, not their fault, it's really up to preference. They're really nice about letting you smell the shisha before you pick. I've never had anyone give me attitude here. I've never seen them give attitude to harder-to-please customers as well. Pretty good on coals too, they walk around replacing your pebbles with fresh lit coconut coals which is much appreciated since other lounges I went to they usually just leave some quick lights for you and you have to deal with that on your own. They also have no problem providing you with tongs in case you're the type that likes to have your coals a certain way if they're not around. They also sell food and tea here! I love the tea and coffee. The food is simple cafe food. Their gyro is top notch and I like getting their cheese fries and chicken tenders. My friends love their wings. There's just not much to complain about here! The regulars are pretty nice for the most part. They can get some obnoxious customers here and there but what place doesn't? I recommend trying this place out! And if you're hesitant, just come during happy hour which is everyday until 6 pm. Hookahs are the price of refills :) cheers! read more

This place has everything one could ask for in a hookah lounge.... music, tv, indoor/outdoor sitting options. It seems to be under constant renovation, but I think they achieved the look the were aiming for this month. I can't give it a higher rating because it is simply not the first place that springs to mind when I want to go for hookah. And that in itself isn't a great quality. This is my favorite hookah bar in San Diego. Don't get me wrong, it's not fancy and the aesthetic isn't amazing, but the staff is amazing and the way the pack the hookah makes it actually taste good. I've been going to this place for 3 years now and have never been disappointed. Honestly, the only reason I'm writing this review is because I'm shocked it doesn't have 5 stars. The environment is amazing and the food also was so good. Ordered TE philly cheese steak and was very impressed. However the hookah was so bad. It burned in like ten minutes no exaggeration. Kept putting more coals on the head trying to fix it. Wanna give five stars but the hookah was just so bad I can't. Will come back tho to give another chance. read more

Theirs no clear entrance to this place so I had a hard time entering. When I got inside I noticed it's different then any other hookah shop as its really bright and everything is so close together. I like my privacy so it was really awkward for me being so close to other people and there wasn't even that many people inside to begin with. Both the interior and exterior needed some work as it was dirty. The hookah dried up quick so I was very disappointed about that. I tried the tea that was recommended which tasted good but the appliances he used to serve it to me looked old and dirty. 2 stars only because the tea was good and the guy who was working gave me great customer service. read more

Normally I go to a different hookah shop by the beach... At first I was a little skeptical because it looked like a house but appearances aren't everything... So we walk in and the cashiers to the very back in a corner and to the right there were people smoking their hookah right next to the cashier and it felt a little uncomfortable... But we looked at the list of flavors and let me tell you THEY HAVE A BUNCH OF FLAVORS!!! Amazing flavors too!!! And we ordered piña colada and sat down in this room off the main entry. The room wasn't that big and didn't feel private (later some other people came) so he brings us the hookah.. He takes a hit to get it started.. Which was a little weird and gave us our disposable pieces and after 5 or 10 minz we realize we were getting little smoke ... So I called him over and he looks at it.. Takes a hit and realizes it was the hose.. And he later gives us another hose... And then it was all good from there.. The customers that come in and smoke are really nice.. (If you want to meet people this is the place to go) my friend and I were doing smoke rings and the dude across us started doing them too and we started talking and then everyone in the room started talking too and it was a really good environment.. Their hoses looked a little dirty but overall I enjoyed it... I'm not sure if I LOVED it but if I want to meet new friends and have a good time I would go here again... But ima check out other hookah shops in the area rather than going to the one all the way down by the. Beach read more
