Super tasty and the waitstaff is very friendly. My kids loved the dinner and the cooking show! I wish they were able to pull my nine-year-old up to do the egg as well. But... next time I guess. we got to see the other two kids from the table across do the egg cracking . The ribeye was so juicy and soft. Great spot for sushi and drinks! Went for sushi with some friends and we ordered a sushi boat and drinks. I got the lychee martini and one of my friends got the paper plane. The lychee martini was amazing! The sushi boat had generous large portions and fresh Ingredients. It is a little loud in there because of the habachi set up. Our servers was attentive but didn't make us feel rushed to place our order and let us take our time with the menu. The new renovations are also beautiful! read more

In a strip mall in Etobicoke is this hidden gem. On a busy night I was served quickly and with courtesy. I order the crab oshi (pressed sushi) chicken karaage and a Philadelphia roll. All were amazing. The chicken was crunchy yet tender. The sushi was sublime. Oshi is new to me but apparently a very old style of sushi with no nori wrapper. Soft and creamy rich with a mild spice on the crab. The Philadelphia roll is one of the best I've had, ever and I've had a LOT of sushi. The restaurant also has teppanyaki tables and although I didn't have any I could hear the shouts and laugher of the patrons. Clean, classy and good service. This is closer to 3.5 stars than 3. This was my first time trying Prince Steak House for a friend's birthday. Service overall was great. The hibachi chef was very engaging as one would expect. He did the usual tricks with the eggs and the onion volcano. Going to a hibachi place is typically more about the show/spectacle than the food, so my expectations weren't the highest going in. The food itself was so-so, the steak was a bit under seasoned and needed a hint of salt. The vegetables were a bit too salty. The ambiance of the restaurant itself is what you would expect, it's a bit loud with everything going on but it definitely delivered in spectacle. read more

My son loves teppanyaki so we took him and some friends for his birthday. Their meals were very generously portioned and for the price really unbeatable (salad, entree, veg, and ice cream for $15!). My husband and I prefer sushi so we ordered a love boat. The server seemed confused that we only wanted sushi and not teppanyaki but didn't make too big a deal about it. Sushi was fine at best. Also for $75 when we ask for no salmon I would think that's something you could accommodate, especially when most places charge extra when people want more salmon and we are there with 10 people. It's time to update my review. I average coming here once a year. The food is consistently yummy. I tend to come here for a group lunch with work colleagues. The last couple of times have been to celebrate a colleague's birthday in March. This colleague has a difficult time making a restaurant selection. He gave me a list and I picked this one out for him. Technically, it's my birthday in March, except that it's four months early. We were a group of seven (no, we aren't painters... just a bunch of writers) who came here on Friday for lunch. One of my colleagues booked a reservation for 11:50 am. it gets busy, so I recommend securing a reservation. This restaurant is in a chaotic plaza, with nervous folks trying to pass their driving tests at the DriveTest and folks who need their caffeine fix at Tim Hortons. A colleague with a van drove us over to Prince. It was like going into a clown-mobile. We checked in and were seated in front of a teppanyaki grill. I sat smack in the middle, which was perfect for me to take photos. I love the chicken and scallops entree, and went with it again. I also got a Diet Pepsi with a lime wedge. It was perfect. Since I was last here, the plates have changed. I loved the green pop of colour with the plates and cups. Even though I have seen the onion volcano each time I have been here, it always makes me happy. I have a volcano video for each of my four visits. It's becoming a ritual. I also enjoy seeing a mound of butter in a huge bowl that each chef uses. No wonder I love the food here. Butter makes everything yummy. Our chef was nice. My manager left to visit the washroom and he felt that the chef was angry with him. He ordered the sirloin medium and got in medium-well. It's how I like steak. I tried my best not to each all his food. My two students have never been here. They loved it. It's a good place for yummy food, decent conversation, and great photos to post on social media. I loved my food. The chicken was tender and flavourful. I am a huge fan of bean sprouts. I could eat them all day. They were done right. Same with my scallops. I loved the sear on them and they had so much flavour to them. Even though I'm not a fan of zucchini, I ate all of it. Delicious! You get miso soup and salad as starters with your entree. I tend to wolf them down because I come hungry. All the food here is flavourful. It's a consistent four-star place. It accepts cash, and debit and credit cards. My meal hit $20 before tips. It's pretty good for the quality and amount of food that you get. Service has never been an issue for me. It has always been pretty good. I still need to try the gyoza. The problem is that they don't fit in my stomach with the amount of food that I get in my entree. (114) read more

It was my first time doing hibachi and I'm SO GLAD I got to experience it here! First off I come in with some friends and we were greeted by the CUTEST little Asian man (that I realized was the owner). We were seated promptly and taken care of. My friends and I got the special of the day (steak, chicken, shrimp and veggies) which was $28. A bit pricier but definitely worth it with the show that the hibachi chef does for you! We also got a platter of rolls which was also a great highlight. The show, OUTSTANDING. This man was wielding chef tools like nobody's business! He knew how to handle it and made me salivate at the food I could see being cooked before my eyes. The food was also exceptional - it was such a great experience. I can't stop raving about it and now I am craving this as I write it. Definitely should go!! Also, it was my friend's birthday and the owner came by with a free dessert! SO SWEET!
