Went last night around 7pm and the pizza has had me sick ever since. We made our order at the front and were told it will take a couple of minutes. We sat outside for about 20 minutes before an employee came out offering us a feee slice of pizza since our order had to start over due to the previous pizza not "being up to standards". So since they already gave us a few slices, we asked to have it packed to go once it's ready. We thought it was a nice gesture until later that night when I felt sick and realized that pizza slices we had were no good. Who knows how long they've been sitting out, or what "not up to standards" meant, because no pizza has ever gotten me this sick. Decided to stop here for lunch, as it's new & I am always seeing people sitting on their patio. The staff was great & didn't push us to order while we decided. We finally ordered 1 pizza, 1 gluten free pizza & 1 Caesar salad - which set us back about $80 - already a little sticker shock. They don't have varied sizes of pizza, which we are used to, so don't expect to order a small or medium. They do, however offer slices, unless you want gluten free, then you have to get a whole pie. They have thin crust & "Brooklyn" square thick crust, which is absolutely NOT a crispy crust true Brooklyn pie...... I would not bother with a salad here again. A little pricey for something that looks like it came from the prepared food fridge at the local supermarket; however the lettuce was crispy & the dressing was decent. The flavor of the pizza is decent, not the best but certainly not the worst we've had. Tomato sauce was a little flavorless & while the gluten free crust was great while it was hot, when it started to cool it did get a little gummy. They have sandwiches, pasta, salad, wings & sides on their menu as well, but we didn't try any of them. Drove by and stopped by for lunch at this fairly new location. Private parking lot is great for me. Son ordered 2 slices of cheese and I ordered 1 slice of Spicy Pepperoni and 1 slice of Sicilian. Overall the food is good. Good atmosphere and customer service. Nice location for an outdoor eating with friends or family. No inside seating. Only outdoor seating. I first became familiar with Prime Pizza through their Burbank location and recently had the chance to try them again at Pizza City Fest, which reminded me why they have such a strong following throughout Southern California. Prime Pizza opening in Valley Village is the best thing that's happened to our neighborhood since Vanderpump Rules. Yesterday was the grand opening in the old space where Pizza Hut used to be and this is a BIG upgrade. This location is at the corner of Whitsett Ave and Magnolia Blvd with a small parking lot and an outside dining patio. Prime Pizza does New York style pies (round and square) , subs, and pastas. You can also buy pizza by the slice and the pizza here is high quality. For their first day of business, they were expectedly busy but the customer service remained stellar. Having Prime Pizza in the neighborhood will hopefully help out our small businesses next door and across the street. read more

The supreme pizza didn't have too many ingredients on it, with very few pepperonis. The pizza had big slices but with the few ingredients, the rest of the pizza was meh. The sauce taste a bit bland without the ingredients. Also the pizza crust was a bit over burnt. As for the wings, it was crispy but didn't have too much sauce on it. Idk about paying $14 for six wings that didn't have too much sauce on it. The ranch was different but in a good way. The staff was super friendly and didn't have too much of a wait time for the food. I was excited to try this new spot but disappointed with my ordered. I ordered half BBQ Chicken (contains jalapeños, and a half Peperroni. I asked if I could removed the jalapeños from the BBQ and add them to the Pepperoni side, but the manager, with attitude told me she couldn't do that without charging an extra fee. I found this unusual because the bbq side already included jalapenos, making the charge seem unnecessary. Because of this experience, I have decided I won't be returning. Boy you gotta hit this place at the right time if you want 'by the slice'. Not that they run out, but even during lunch hours, it's rather dry and feels like it's been sitting out for too long. Even after it's been put in the warmer before they give it to you. Part of me is irked that Santinos Pizza (down the street) went out of business just as Prime came in. Santinos had consistently great slices at any time of the day. They will be missed! I've had a couple great slices when they were fresh. I'm sure anyone ordering whole pizzas are very happy. They have a nice outdoor area and even play the World Cup! So it's a good spot for hanging out too. I would give 3.5 stars but 4 feels too generous. I've now had a chance to try one of the round pies. I ordered mine with sausage and mushrooms. I liked the crust a lot, and the sauce and the cheese were good. The house-made sausage was very good. But the mushrooms--a disaster! They came out of a can or a jar, not fresh. They added a lot of unwanted moisture and were very salty. And the pie was absolutely covered with them. So I went to your Valley Village location and gave you guys a shot. Ordered 2 slices 1 cheese, one grandma and 2 garlic knots to-go. Cashier was great and welcoming however once he passed my ticket off it all went down hill. An older lady came behind me and ordered about 3 mins later. The lady firing the slices(who was doing nothing but folding boxes when I walked in),not only had to pull a whole new pie from the rack to fulfill this ladies order of slices. The 'cook' and I'll use that term loosely, as someone who IS a cook for 20 years, fires HER slices and then mine. I had been waiting for 3-5 mins already. Old lady gets her slices and leaves. A minute or so later my slices are pulled out, boxed and put on top of the pizza reheat oven, she then tells me just waiting on the knots... ok cool. I'm watching the cooks in the kitchen stand around, one lifting floor mats, sweeping and then bring the mats back, no glove change by the way. all while the other lady cooks are standing around chatting.I see the front ''cook" go back and tell the station responsible for knits apparently to look at their screen.
