Overpriced, careless, and unsafe -- do not trust this shop I brought my vehicle to this shop for a serious ongoing issue, not a routine alignment. I clearly explained the symptoms in detail: * Whole vehicle vibrating * Cracking noise on hard left turns and when backing up. * Vehicle pulling to the right * Steering wheel off-center * RWD vehicle with handling instability [[HIGHLIGHT]]I specifically asked for a suspension inspection and a road test with the technician, because mostly the problem only shows up under real driving conditions. They initially agreed[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]. What actually happened was very different. According to their own notes, they: * "Checked tire pressure and condition" * Checked caster, camber, and toe * Found a right front tie rod loose * "Lubed" dry turn bumps * Performed an alignment That was it. There was no real diagnostic work, no explanation of why the alignment was out, and no attempt to identify a root cause. An alignment does not go out on its own -- it's a symptom, not a fix. [[HIGHLIGHT]]When I asked again to road test the vehicle with the technician, I was told (rudely) that it was "not needed" because the vehicle was now aligned. That response alone was a red flag.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] When I asked about any warranty, I was told there is NO warranty at all, because "I could hit a curb or a rock" after leaving. Using a hypothetical future event to avoid standing behind the work that was just performed is not professional. I was charged $250+ for the alignment, plus fees, and the vehicle was returned with a printout showing "within spec" -- yet the original problems never went away. The vibration, pull, and handling issues are still present. I did not see the technician perform any suspension inspection beyond putting the car on the alignment machine. No meaningful testing. No root cause. Just adjust, print, and send me out the door. This felt rushed, overpriced, and careless -- especially for a safety-related complaint. The goal seemed to be closing the ticket, not fixing the car. I will absolutely be filing a formal complaint with the California Bureau of Automotive Repair over this unsafe, overpriced, and careless service. Do not take your vehicle here for suspension, alignment, or any safety-related work. read more

Went in for my rear brakes; they suggested replacement of rotors and pads, almost $900 (Honda Accord). Heard metal on metals weeks/months after. Took to another shop and they stated no way the rotors were almost new. Went back to Pro Alignment, they looked and stated, nothing was wrong. I've used this shop for all my alignment needs for years, after my Mercedes mechanic used them on my old diesel Benz over 10 years ago. I asked them to check out the brakes on my 2013 Tacoma, it was making a subtle noise but the brake pad replacement sensor light wasn't coming on for some reason. They were able to diagnose and replace the brakes and rotors the same day that I called and spoke with Debbie. They also flushed new fluid in b/c it was still original at 125K miles. From the second I had a conversation with Deb on the phone, I knew I would be in good hands. She was very professional, friendly, and knowledgeable. I told her that my alignment could be the cause of my right front tire wearing on the inner and outer edges. She told me to bring it in and that they would take good care of me. I showed up a few minutes early and had a conversation with Rick (technician) about my concern. He gave me some good tips, and he was able to bring my vehicles alignment specs back up to factory standards. I called Pro Alignment to schedule a wheel alignment for my Cadillac SRX sport utility as I was replacing the steering rack and front control arms at home. Debbie was very friendly and courteous and scheduled me the next day. When I brought the vehicle in, they started working on it promptly and Rick did a terrific job aligning my Cadillac. The vehicle handles well, tracks perfectly straight, and the steering wheel is centered. I've used this shop for alignments and minor work in the past but this was the last time I will ever be going here. I had lost brake pressure while bleeding my brakes so I brought it to them to see if they could fix it. I asked them to take a look at it and see what was causing the brakes to stay limp. They managed to get brake pressure back for me and told me i needed to adjust my rear brakes and that the fronts just needed "breaking in". well I daily drive this car and changed my brakes back in February of 2023. If my brakes were not broken in after roughly 6-7 months of daily driving then there's something SERIOUSLY wrong with my brakes. But i just bit my tongue nodded my head and thanked them for their time. Well the brakes felt horrific so I called them back and made another appointment for them to check it out. They checked it again and simply said the same thing that my rears needed an adjustment and the fronts were still "breaking in" and then tried telling me, "well that's just how older cars are the pedals will be a bit softer". I've only ever really owned older cars so i knew that was bs in this instance, some old cars 100% the brakes are just like that but i knew for a fact these ones aren't like that. I asked for a better explanation than that and was told that's the best they can give me. seriously, you think someone who runs the business named PRO ALIGNMENT AND BRAKE would have a better explanation about my brakes. But they insisted there was nothing wrong with the car and that was just how it is. Yet again I bit my tongue, paid them and moved on with my crappy brakes. Since I got the car back the second time i had been consistently losing brake fluid on top of the poor pedal feeling, so I decided to look into the whole system myself again. That's when i discovered a leak from my proportioning valve, a leak so bad i lost nearly all the fluid in my master cylinder in a week. I replaced my proportioning valve and the brakes are extremely stiff now and feel as good as my old lady's 07 wrangler, if not better, I know that's not saying much given it's Chrysler. But still it's crazy how my 1987 Honda which is supposed to be soft according them suddenly became extremely responsive. Sadly it is what it is and i've since learned my lesson and will not be getting work done by Debbie and Rick ever again. read more
