We worked with Derek who was a complete professional - timely, very knowledgeable, courteous, efficient, and looked for an effective fix rather than a short cut or unnecessarily complex (and costly) fix. Derek did not charge for his initial visit and his final bill was reasonable. Our appliance repair technician diagnosed our loss of power issue to the electrical connection or electrical feed to our KitchenAid microwave/oven combo. He was right - it was the electrical connection in the wall behind the combo unit. When we remodeled our kitchen the electrician contracted by the cabinet installer did a less-than-professional job of connecting our unit (connected the aluminum conductor in our house to copper wire in the unit with just a wire nut). The connection eventually shorted out. ATTENTION HOMEOWNERS: IF YOU ARE REMODELING BE SURE THE ELECTRICIANS DO WORK THAT IS STATE OF THE ART AND UP TO CODE.
