He got me in that afternoon! Got there, and they were so kind, and so helpful. Very thorough and professional. They worked with me in dropping off and picking up. Also explained in detail what needed to be done and why! Even pulled up a picture to show me what was being replaced because I had no idea what it was he was talking about. They even went out of their way to check the car for additional safety issues (without me having to ask) and noticed I needed to replace a master drive belt (pretty sure that's what it was called?) which I am beyond grateful for considering I do NOT want to get stuck on the side of the road. Also important, I didn't have to pay an arm and a leg for their help, and he looked at, and quoted a tail light issue thoroughly! These guys will have all of my future business. I had gone to an auto parts store for a diagnosis, which they gave me, but as it was a Sunday, hardly anyone was open except for Stewart's All About Auto. When I called him and told him the issue, he gave me several possibilities. When I asked when I could see him, he actually offered to come to where I was and fix it. I happened to be at church during that time and he fixed it right before the service was over. Not only this, but the next day when the issue seemed to come again, he repaired the issue with no additional labor charges. He was reasonably priced and made certain I was not overcharged for parts or labor. The fact that he came to where I was to fix my car was even better than I could have expected. I highly recommend this business and will be dealing with them from now on in the future.

If I could give Budget Radiator and Automotive 10 stars, I absolutely would!…read more We were in Springfield from St. Charles for my daughter's MCDA Honors Choir workshops and concert when our 2015 Honda Odyssey suddenly started flashing warning lights on the highway--FCW, LDW, a flashing Drive indicator, and the check engine light. We were only about 7 miles out from our hotel, but we were worried we might be looking at a transmission replacement as it seemed like the transmission went "limp" and wouldn't change gears while driving! The team at Budget Radiator and Automotive got us in quickly, took the time to thoroughly diagnose the problem, and didn't jump to conclusions or try to sell us unnecessary repairs. They found that the alternator had failed, but they didn't stop there. During the repair they discovered the serpentine belt and tensioner were also failing because the belt kept slipping off. They explained everything clearly, showed us what was happening, and made sure the repair was done correctly. After replacing the alternator, serpentine belt, and tensioner, they checked the transmission fluid at my request, (which looked great), then test drove the van for about 20 miles to make sure everything was working properly before calling us. That's the kind of attention to detail and professionalism every customer hopes for. The van now runs beautifully, all of the warning lights are gone, and we have complete confidence driving it home. When you're traveling and your vehicle breaks down hundreds of miles from home, you're putting a lot of trust in a repair shop you've never met. Budget Radiator and Automotive earned that trust from the moment we walked in. They were honest, knowledgeable, thorough, and genuinely cared about getting us safely back on the road--not just fixing a car. Knowing that this shop uses a lot of the same vendors we do I know they are quality oriented and know the difference between Grade A, B, and C parts and not only that, but they know what pieces and parts need to be replaced when making repairs, there is zero guessing,speculating ,only gathering evidence and a effective repair.
