Unfortunately the valve that the shower needed was proprietary and not a common one. At this point cost wasn't a concern but getting back my shower was. So kahuna had to redo some of the pipes and install a more functional system with a common brand you can find at the hardware store . I wasn't planning on spending that kind of money but overall it was worth it and fixed. Why 4 and not 5 stars? Kahuna sends a technician to inspect and diagnose the issue. When I agreed to the work I clearly stated I wanted chrome hardware. When the installer came I received a bronze color hardware. Because of the lack of communication, the installer had to come back a few days later to replace it. Simple mistake on their part but a pain that I had to stay home an extra day so an inconvenience for me. Overall a good job and they wore booties over their shoes in my house.

He also asked me to take pictures of the current water heater so he knows what they're working with. By looking at my pictures he pointed out some of the things that they might need for the installation so there was full transparency. I informed him that we think it is just the water heater that needs to be replaced but want someone to confirm there isn't anything else wrong and he assured that's something they'll verify. He was able to send someone the same day. The technician, Danny, informed me of his arrival time when he was 30 minutes away. When Danny was done with the water heater replacement, he provided necessary information to my tenant, then he called me to brief me on the completion of the install. My tenant complimented Danny for his professionalism and said he wants to use this company for any future needs. I was thoroughly satisfied with Parker and Danny. The 2 guys worked diligently to locate the issue, using moisture sensing devices, a wireless camera and using their phones to communicate to each other from the different locations of our house.
