I feel so mad, I come to do some "pedicure" but in the moment they take out my gelish it hurts so bad... I didn't say anything, after he go to do my gelish I ask "you don't do massage" and he answer like: no after and with one sound like EWK, like omg how dare him talk like that, and then after continue laughing with his coworkers. DON'T GO THERE, I bring my step daughter to have an excellent experience but I think I made the wrong call. Another thing we ask for only gel in the hands and they did manicure but they didn't ask us ! Like man you pay more bc they do things the we don't ask. Just don't go there. At the end I wait of course for the "manicure" at the end they did for her, the man go to sit down without shoe like man that's not how you do business, I mean at lease for us to watch. Nothing good in this "professional" spa and nails.

To be honest I did look at reviews before I went in and wasn't expecting much but, what I got was bad. I just went in for a basic manicure and polish. Not only did the man not Trim back my cuticles he also did a terrible job painting them and left clear coat all over the place. I also didn't have cash so I paid an extra dollar plus a tip. So dissatisfied and disappointed. Will never return here.

This is dip over my natural nails. So pretty.

They always do an amazing job here and are so kind. I've been coming here for years. It is definitely the best nail salon in Rancho Bernardo by far.

"Trimmed" cuticles... they still look so sloppy

First impression means so much, and I should've trusted my instinct. At first glance, this place is sloppy and not clean. I wanted to give them a chance since they are so close to home. My fault :( They had several nail techs sitting around playing on their phones. A gentlemen employee was sitting with his shoes off and feet kicked up falling asleep in the corner @ 9:30 am. Bad look. I'm not a picky person and I asked for what I thought was something quite simple. Unfortunately most of my nails came out crooked, misshaped and several had air holes. Technician used an old file that was obviously used several times. They don't do a very good job at making people feel welcome. After asking if she could fix nails that were crooked, she would roll her eyes and just file same side. (Palm to face moment) Save yourself a headache and skip this place if you're looking for a warm, friendly, clean environment and if you want your nails to turn out nice. Hard pass!

First thing I asked when I walked in is if they did chrome. They said yes, sat me in a chair, and an older (the oldest woman, just to be specific since i didnt learn her name) came over to be my manicurist, told me to pick a color of gel. I asked for the chrome colors and she tells me she doesn't do chrome. I told her I was confused because I asked if they did chrome and they said yes. She said, "they do, I do not". So I said "Can I wait for someone who can?" It's literally the only thing I asked for, why would you match me with someone who can't do that thing? They change ladies, the one doing my nails, started the base (the black for the chrome) and then changed her mind? I don't understand what happened because she took it off by buffing my nails so hard that the heat burned through the bed, it HURT. Then they said "are you SURE you want chrome?" "Yes" "You know it costs more" "Yes" "Maybe just nails fingers?" Sigh "sure" Then they asked more, tired of being pressured, I told them I was fine with normal gel if they could do an ombré. I showed them a picture (of an old usual from the city I used to live in) and she said with confidence, "oh yeah. I can do that" No she can't. She took a coat and streaked it across the nail. I stopped her after one and said, forget it, I'll just take a solid color. She then went on to tell me my nails were soft....k. Didn't explain what she meant or expected of me from this point. She just continued. She did two coats, then asked me if she should do more...I told her I don't know. The feet were a different story. Young and new to it, she asked a lot of questions from the other ladies. You're new, that's fine. My massage was forgotten, she didn't clean my nails or my cuticles. She was nice though. My massage for my arms was quick and done, uneven. First arm was done for a kind of normal amount of time, second arm, she literally put lotion on my arm and rubbed it in like i would at home, then got up and left. The gel on my fingers started coming off two days later and left my nails looking awful. I've NEVER had my nails look melted and missing layers. My nails as they grew out had a noticeable divot and broke consistently. Pictures are post two months of growth. Never going back.

I've gone here a few times recently and I think this is the home spa now. Last night (not even gonna give a name cause each of the masseuse I've had have been wonderful) I had the best massage / therapy session yet. I came late like 15 min before closing, and I could tell the young lady had a long day, maybe week, but was still so welcoming and did so well and not a single complaint. I have a broken hand and shoulder, and my masseuse was careful to not hurt me but clearly knew her way around the intricate small muscles and let up the perfect amount as she got close. Worked a little on my stretching too which isn't even a service shown to offer. Don't listen to that girls 1 review btw they literally wash their hands like 20 times a day and I've never had an inkling of something wrong and I am always on alert. Thanks staff! Ps you pay only for the massage upfront they don't ask for the tip. Pretty sure it's not unusual for a business to charge before the service, especially one people will run out on. And if you can't afford to tip decently, don't pay for a professional massage. Go ask your mom for one and switch to geico while you're at it

Once you've had your back walked on as part of the massage, you realize that there's no other way to get that type of pressure in such small areas like a different form of Shiatsu Massage. Linda has been our go too cuz she seems to care about your experience and somehow she knows just where the problem spots are, and is great at working on the rights areas till the tightness goes away. So worth it. The spa is pretty clean, but I always think things could be a bit better. Still worth it though.

I called at 5:20PM and was able to book a time at 5:30PM. I also arrived a few minutes late. so…read morethey are flexible and willing to accommodate. I paid the $40 (great rate for a 30 minute massage). However, their flexibility and price may come from a lack of business, and I have a few guesses about why. The massage was mediocre. My masseuse used railings along the ceiling to step on me and apply pressure. She did ask and I did say yes, and it felt good to start. There was a lack of care and a few rough steps on soft spots that I would have forgiven. She then had me turn over, and I refused an inappropriate gesture. It was disrespectful. The massage continued and declined in quality even further, after I refused her suggestion. Afterwards, she brought me some water. It was in one of those paper mouthwash cups. Basically a shot of water. I got dressed and went up to pay a tip of $15, because I believe everyone deserves something. She looked at me in disbelief and asked, "Fifteen? Not five-zero?" Her coworker lounged on the couch nearby, and suggested that I had said $50. I said again clearly that I intended to tip $15, one-five. It was not a language barrier, as she understood and responded to me well during the massage. She was trying to pressure me into tipping more. It was rude, and she implied that I was too poor to get a massage. I haven't encountered a massage service like this one in a long time, and I know which one to avoid in the area. Thanks for clearing it up for me. Pretty dim experience all-around.
