I got my nails done by John and he was amazing! He was super gentle with my hands and made sure I liked how everything was turning out every step of the way, before putting my hands under the UV light, he checked in with me to make sure I was happy with the shape, color, and design. I really appreciated that attention to detail. On top of that, he was so fun to talk to! The conversation flowed the whole time, and it never felt awkward or boring. Overall, it was such a great experience, I'll definitely be coming back to him!

Love Love this place!!! It just gets better and better. I recently had my nails and pedicure done and the treatment from John and a wonderful lady was so amazing!! They took their time and the pedicure was great and she massaged me so good I felt like a princess. I've been going there for the last 3 years and they're so respectful and always so clean. Christine is very careful with my sensitive hands and feet. She's been at this salon for about 23-years now. I consider her my friend and only like her doing my nails. Today on a very rainy day I did a Spa-Pedi and new set of nails. I love Gels cause they last 3-weeks if you're kind to your hands. Sure every block has a nail salon. One of the cleanest nail studios I've ever visited in Long Beach and the surrounding areas. The moment you walk in, you can immediately feel the level of care and professionalism in the space. Everything is spotless, calm, and thoughtfully run. Tran, the owner, is incredibly hands on and truly sets the tone for the entire experience. She is warm, professional, and so cordial with every client. You can tell she takes a lot of pride in her business and in the quality of service her team provides. I've given this place a few chances, but my recent experience with Danny the nail technician was the final straw. Not only did he cut me while using the dremel to file my nails and cuticles, but he also gave me attitude when I asked him to fix nails that were clearly too long and crooked. If the job had been done properly the first time, I wouldn't have had to ask for corrections. To make matters worse, the price I was quoted on the phone mysteriously increased when it came time to pay. That's shady and unacceptable. The service has always been mediocre at best, but this visit was downright unpleasant. Between the poor workmanship, the lack of professionalism, and the sketchy pricing, I won't be coming back and I don't recommend this place to anyone. read more

Came in for a fill on my gel x nails. I wanted red French tip and it was very messy. The technician only did one coat and my nails look see through. Also the curves were crooked and my hands were left with red nail polish. The technician did not want to clean up my fingers. She said washing them would take it off but it's nail polish. Worst thing is that she was laughing while she said that after seeing me visibly upset. Waste of $50. Third time here. I thought it would be my new spot but it won't be. Careless service. My nails look terrible and I'm very disappointed. read more

I love coming here! I've gone to pretty much everyone who works here for a manicure and/or pedicure. They are always so nice, gentle, they'll give suggestions and make sure that you like what they've done before continuing so that they make sure they do exactly what YOU want. They give really good leg & foot massages when giving a pedicure. I even got a shoulder and neck massage after getting a manicure while my pedicure was being done. I normally just get gel but now I'm getting dip. They have a lot of options for dip powder and the man who works here did such a good job! His wife is the one who did my nails last time and who gives the good shoulder & neck massage. read more

During my gel fill, I felt a couple moments of sharp pain to my nail beds/cuticles as the man sanded off my old color and then sanded down to blend in my new fill. It wasn't so shocking that I asked him to stop. The color picked for me (because the one I asked for wasn't available, I guess?$ was pretty and I was happy when I left. However, the next morning, I woke with a couple sore cuticles and two of them were bleeding (pics). Positive: the fill and shaping of the gel/dip was done well, thin and smooth. My regular nails are broken and very thin, so I'm going with GelX today, and Danny did an excellent job of satisfying my desire for clean and professional nails. Clean salon and friendly staff. Needed a fill on a Sunday at 3:45pm and must have gotten lucky because they had 6 customers getting services but they were able to take me in less than 3 minutes. My nails looked great, good selection of polish colors, Bi (guy who did my nails) was professional and friendly, and did a great job on my nails. I will return. read more

Expensive pedi, and worth it. I'm tired. It's been a frustrating day. I need a pedi. I hit the first shop I see, Professional Nails. Hmm, besides the expense, nothing would deter me from here again. Nice. Big (12 spa chairs and 6 mani stations and a wax room). Spacious. Well-ventilated. Modern. Clean. A gent greeted me whwe n I came in. The color choices are inconveniently placed behind mani chairs, and the color nail choices are everywhere. Sigh. See prior not on frustration. Amy helped that out. The spa sink was covered with a plastic wrap. Yeah for cleanliness! Amy went to work: no nicks, appropriate cuts and shaping, then the magic: callous removal, warm lotion massage, warm stone massage, lotion massage before hot towel. YES! Worth my $30! (Although free design would make me feel like it's really worth it.) read more

Ladies save your nails time & money! My star is only because the lady who did my pedi was nice, other than that the man who did my mani was so unprofessional. Instead of a relaxing experience, the entire service felt stressful and uncomfortable. I understand occasional mistakes can happen, but repeated injuries point to a larger issue with technique and care. I'm sharing this in hopes the management takes it seriously and improves client safety. For now, I won't be returning, but I hope to see better standards moving forward.

Linda did so good with my pedicure. Loved the scrub and massage and Sophie did my fill and repaired my one broken cracked nail and my chipped nail. I thought I would need to get a tip to repair it but she did her magic with the hard gel and cured and shaped it without having to! She was able to tell me that I still had old acrylic underneath that wasn't drilled off before getting my new hard gel set. She explained why my nails were breaking and why they didn't feel as sturdy. She did a great job helping me out and starting me over from scratch. She was a little aggressive with the filing and I got a little cut on my pinky but overall she did amazing compared to what I had before. I love how my nails turned out and will definitely be back! This nail salon is amazing! From the moment you walk in, everyone is so kind and welcoming. They always offer water or coffee and make sure you're completely comfortable throughout your visit. She also ripped off a perfectly good dip layer previously applied and tried to rip off the other ones. I asked her to please don't do that, i just want a re-dip. She proceeds to ignore the pictures and say "I know i know" ..ok. She didn't know because after 3 attempts she still couldn't get it. I told her i didn't want anything else to be done to the nails and for the color to be taken off. In between filing which she filed WAYYY too short, was cutting into my skin on every nail and rounded the nail edges when i asked her not to because i said to her "I don't like the edges rounded" I got ignored yet again while being laughed at again. He told her no, to sit at another table, and then got up and left me mid-service to go help her. Mind you, I only had gel on, so it's a soak-off with acetone and then drill off the rest. He started servicing her and never came back to me or communicated anything, he just walked away. Around 11:18, another lady noticed that the man just left me mid service and moved me to a pedicure chair and started my pedicure. After a while, the man finally came back to continue on my nails. I politely asked him to remove the aluminum foil, and he said he would finish doing my nails, but at that point I declined service based on how everything was handled. The other lady told me he "had an appointment," but I don't believe that was the case because she had just walked in and asked if she should come back later, not that she was there for a scheduled appointment. Overall, it was just handled very poorly. I come here when I'm in the area, and my partner is a regular customer, but after this experience, we both won't be coming back. Also, they charge to use your debit card.
