I got my nails done by John and he was amazing! He was super gentle with my hands and made sure I liked how everything was turning out every step of the way, before putting my hands under the UV light, he checked in with me to make sure I was happy with the shape, color, and design. I really appreciated that attention to detail. On top of that, he was so fun to talk to! The conversation flowed the whole time, and it never felt awkward or boring. Overall, it was such a great experience, I'll definitely be coming back to him!

They took their time and the pedicure was great and she massaged me so good I felt like a princess. I've been going there for the last 3 years and they're so respectful and always so clean. Been coming here for 12-years now! Christine is my girl. Even when I moved 25-miles away I still made the drive. You see I have thin nails my entire life. Christine is very careful with my sensitive hands and feet. She's been at this salon for about 23-years now. I consider her my friend and only like her doing my nails. Today on a very rainy day I did a Spa-Pedi and new set of nails. I love Gels cause they last 3-weeks if you're kind to your hands. Sure every block has a nail salon. Red nail polish residue. Only one coat and red polish left on my nails too.

Came in for a fill on my gel x nails. I wanted red French tip and it was very messy. The technician only did one coat and my nails look see through. Also the curves were crooked and my hands were left with red nail polish. The technician did not want to clean up my fingers. She said washing them would take it off but it's nail polish. Worst thing is that she was laughing while she said that after seeing me visibly upset. Waste of $50. Third time here. I thought it would be my new spot but it won't be. Careless service. My nails look terrible and I'm very disappointed.

One of the cleanest nail studios I've ever visited in Long Beach and the surrounding areas. The moment you walk in, you can immediately feel the level of care and professionalism in the space. I've given this place a few chances, but my recent experience with Danny the nail technician was the final straw. Not only did he cut me while using the dremel to file my nails and cuticles, but he also gave me attitude when I asked him to fix nails that were clearly too long and crooked. If the job had been done properly the first time, I wouldn't have had to ask for corrections. To make matters worse, the price I was quoted on the phone mysteriously increased when it came time to pay. That's shady and unacceptable. The service has always been mediocre at best, but this visit was downright unpleasant. Between the poor workmanship, the lack of professionalism, and the sketchy pricing, I won't be coming back and I don't recommend this place to anyone. read more

I love coming here! I've gone to pretty much everyone who works here for a manicure and/or pedicure. They are always so nice, gentle, they'll give suggestions and make sure that you like what they've done before continuing so that they make sure they do exactly what YOU want. They give really good leg & foot massages when giving a pedicure. I even got a shoulder and neck massage after getting a manicure while my pedicure was being done. I normally just get gel but now I'm getting dip. They have a lot of options for dip powder and the man who works here did such a good job! His wife is the one who did my nails last time and who gives the good shoulder & neck massage. read more

During my gel fill, I felt a couple moments of sharp pain to my nail beds/cuticles as the man sanded off my old color and then sanded down to blend in my new fill. It wasn't so shocking that I asked him to stop. The color picked for me (because the one I asked for wasn't available, I guess?$ was pretty and I was happy when I left. However, the next morning, I woke with a couple sore cuticles and two of them were bleeding (pics). Positive: the fill and shaping of the gel/dip was done well, thin and smooth. My regular nails are broken and very thin, so I'm going with GelX today, and Danny did an excellent job of satisfying my desire for clean and professional nails. Clean salon and friendly staff. Needed a fill on a Sunday at 3:45pm and must have gotten lucky because they had 6 customers getting services but they were able to take me in less than 3 minutes. My nails looked great, good selection of polish colors, Bi (guy who did my nails) was professional and friendly, and did a great job on my nails. I will return. read more

Expensive pedi, and worth it. I'm tired. It's been a frustrating day. I need a pedi. I hit the first shop I see, Professional Nails. Hmm, besides the expense, nothing would deter me from here again. Nice. Big (12 spa chairs and 6 mani stations and a wax room). Spacious. Well-ventilated. Modern. Clean. A gent greeted me whwe n I came in. The color choices are inconveniently placed behind mani chairs, and the color nail choices are everywhere. Sigh. See prior not on frustration. Amy helped that out. The spa sink was covered with a plastic wrap. Yeah for cleanliness! Amy went to work: no nicks, appropriate cuts and shaping, then the magic: callous removal, warm lotion massage, warm stone massage, lotion massage before hot towel. YES! Worth my $30! (Although free design would make me feel like it's really worth it.) read more

Ladies save your nails time & money! My star is only because the lady who did my pedi was nice, other than that the man who did my mani was so unprofessional. NAILS THAT I GOT THE MOST COMPLIMENTS! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!! My first time here at Professionail and I was NOT disappointed at all. Danny did such an amazing work on what I asked for. I've wanted to do the dark gray chrome nails, and I'm so obsessed with how the results turned out. I'm kind of picky when it comes to my nails, but Danny left me with a work of art. He took his time delivering exactly what I wanted but also worked quickly and ensured I was happy with the whole process. I get so many compliments wherever I go, and the nails change color in different light settings. It's been almost a week, but my gel X chrome nails still look and feel incredibly amazing. Because of how much I love the shape, color, and everything about my nails, I know this is my go-to nail salon from now on. My sister also went with me, and she did her manicure with Kelly and pedicure with Rose. They were both super friendly and talented. They did a fabulous job on her nails. Kelly did the white chrome nails with beautiful designs for my sister. She was also impressed at how clean this establishment is and how fresh it feels. My sister had NO complaints and loved the entire experience. It was her first time but definitely not the last! read more

What I appreciate most is how transparent they are about pricing they always make sure you know if there are any extra charges before starting a service. Today, though, I witnessed something that really stood out and I was actually sitting right next to the customer the entire time. A girl came in and started complaining about the cost after her nails had already been started. From the beginning, her tone felt rude and dismissive. When the manager came over to help, she tried to calmly explain the pricing, but the customer kept interrupting and responding with a passive-aggressive attitude. At one point, she even told the manager to lower her voice in a disrespectful way, despite the manager remaining professional the entire time. To make things more uncomfortable, her boyfriend started adding his opinion, even though he had nothing to do with the service. Instead of helping de-escalate the situation, he made it worse by defending his girlfriend, even though she was clearly in the wrong. It would have been more appropriate to let the customer and the person in charge handle the situation directly. Another manager stepped in and patiently pulled up her past transactions to clearly show what had been charged before. They explained that sometimes removal fees are waived, but it's never guaranteed and they always communicate that upfront, which is something I've personally experienced and appreciated. Even after being shown proof, the customer continued to be upset and dismissive, saying things like, "Whatever, just finish my nails. I'll pay, but I'm never coming back." After all that I understand why staff didn't want to service her anymore. She left the place with nails on and she still didn't pay. The staff handled everything with patience and professionalism, even when faced with unnecessary rudeness.

I shall see what that looks like when I go in for the gel removal... Ohana, is a cute little shop tucked perfectly at the end of the busy strip mall off Sterns. Parking was a breeze, and it was easy getting in and out of the lot. The shop was clean, and inviting. The one downside was the price. It was a bit pricy for everything. That's why I give Ohana Nails 4 stars and not 5. I spent about $20 dollars more than I usually would have at my usual spot. It's been almost 2 weeks and everything is holding solid. I'd give them another shot. Maybe the extra money is worth it?

This nail salon is amazing! From the moment you walk in, everyone is so kind and welcoming. They always offer water or coffee and make sure you're completely comfortable throughout your visit.
