Honestly went into this place thinking it was going to be incredible, I left full, just not too impressed. My burger was good, cooked correctly, but was just like any other burger. Nothing special separating it. Fries just like any other place. To be honest the waiting involved for this restaurant made me frustrated. I got the water ( taste how the trash streets of Savannah GA smell) wouldn't recommend getting water. . The service was poor and minimal. I am kicking myself leaving , I tipped 20% feeling like I rewarded poor workmanship.

First time here with a group of 11. They had live music playing. Server was friendly. We waited a while for our food. Food was good but nothing special. Everyone at the table felt differently about their food. One person felt their food was bland. While another person enjoyed their salad. I enjoyed my hamburger. The fried green tomatoes were a little disappointing as it didn't taste like traditional southern restaurants. The beer cheese soup was nothing to write home about.

My friends and I really enjoyed this spot! A variety of choices on the menu. The service was speedy and super friendly. We loved the appetizers - brussel sprouts and fried pickles. I would definitely come back here if I go to St Augustine again!

OH MY GOODNESS! When I tell you I know EXACTLY what I would choose if I were to be stranded on an island..it's this drink! I ordered the Hibiscus Spritz and safe to say it was the best drink i've ever had! It was the perfect amount of sweet without being overbearing. We sat at the bar and service was great as well! The vibe is soo fun and really brings you back in time. I love how the menus are newspapers and don't forget to check out the milkshake bar!

Visited 08MAY26:: THIS PLACE WAS AWESOME and GREAT VIBES! First time for my girlfriend and I. The atmosphere was so much fun; bar scene, dinner, live music lots of room for just standing around to drink and lots of room for sitting. The menu was the "front of a newspaper" very fun and unique. We ordered fried pickles, I had the lobster roll and my girlfriend ordered a chicken sandwich. The pickles were perfect, good pickle to breading ratio. The lobster roll was packed and really delicious. I would order that again. My girlfriends chicken sandwich was flavorful! Our server was fun and nice! Just all around great experience. I recommend and would eat here again!!

Had a great lunch while visiting downtown St. Augustine. Prohibition is located in a trendy tourist shopping area. They had quite a line but we were able to secure a reservation and walk around to shop while we waited. They text us when our table was ready which is very convenient. The restaurant is themed from the prohibition area and we lived all the dark moody vibes. Had an amazing server who was knowledgeable about everything on the menu. Food is bar/tavern food and was really good. I loved they had a separate fryer for gluten and shellfish allergies so I could eat the French fries. We both had burgers and they were very tasty. Great bar and a lot of beers to choose from. It is quite noisy but it was part of the fun. Solid place to eat.

Here St. Augustine doing a walk about stopped for some appetizers and a drink. Had the pork rinds and some deviled eggs with an old-fashioned. Deviled eggs are OK pork ribs are fantastic and the old-fashioned they nailed. It was really good.

We planned to go here after looking at lights. I called ahead to make a reservation, but they do not make reservations. I highly suggest that if you are gonna walk around to look at lights or around the city, that you stop by and check in first and get on the waitlist. It was a Tuesday night and they still had over an hour wait. There were some places to sit and wait and listen to music. The waitlist is via text so you can definitely walk around while you wait. There's live music from 6 to 9 PM. When we got seated, we were sitting at some tables downstairs between the bar and the booths. I would not recommend these chairs because they were very uncomfortable. It looks like the booths and the upstairs seats were better. The menus look like old newspapers. Our waitress was very attentive and my food was cooked exactly how I asked for it. I ordered the build a burger and it came out fantastic along with the sweet potato tots. They have Diet Coke and Coke products. There are definitely some other food items on the menu I'd still like to try next time. I'm interested in trying their milkshakes and alcoholic milkshakes as well.

We were here on a Tuesday for a late lunch, still had to wait for 30 minutes for a table. So come early or make a reservation in advance. I had a super bowl salad with grilled chicken with honey and balsamic dressing, it was good. Big portion for one person, I had to take the rest of the salad. Service dogs are allowed inside the restaurant, but can't be on the seat. Good thing we had a stroller for our service dog, so he stayed in his stroller and took a nap. They serve traditional American food, hubby's favorite. The waitress who waited our table was friendly and attentive. There's a waiting area inside the restaurant, so you don't have to wait outside in the heat.

Snagged a table fri night after about a 30 minute wait (less than I was quoted). Our server Joseph knew every single detail of the menu and was happy to help us pick out our cocktails after a handful of questions lol. I liked the option of a make your own old fashioned, although they don't make smokey ones here which is really my fav. Our cocktails did take a long time to come out, I guess you have to be patient on a fri night. We ordered apps- the giant pretzel and fried pickles- those came out quick and were warm and seemingly fresh. Just be warned after a certain time they pull the tables on the floor- so as soon as you are done eating they will ask you to scoot.

Great experience... there is the location, St Augie, then you walk through the door and step into this saloon/prohibition/ upbeat spot. The service was friendly and good! I sat at the bar and the guys took care of me. Good suggestions, attentive and friendly. The food was great. I had the signature burger.. so good. And a peanut butter milkshake w peanut butter whiskey!! The ambiance tied it all together. It was a party. Great jazz band playing and sports on the bar TVs. Great stop for my trip in St Augie.

The ambiance and the live band (shout out the freight-liners) were a 10/10!! The restaurant was big and we did not wait at all to sit. The food was good, but nothing to write home about. The 'crispy' brussel sprouts weren't very crispy because of the ceasar dressing on them, but they were the tastiest bite we had. I had the short-rib grilled cheese, the first few bites were yummy, but it was overall nothing spectacular. The Mac n cheese was very peppery and baked so it had a cheesy crisp, but was not creamy at all. My partner got the main Prohibition burger. The egg and bacon made this burger above average. Again, nothing to go back for specifically. We had their special rum pumpkin milkshake that was sweet and yummy, as expected. Great presentation, but it took a while to come out. Our server told us he was slammed...so service coming out of it was as expected. Don't love that someone is trying to sell photos to you, feels too touristy, yet we are in downtown so can't really argue it.

I'm going to go out on a limb here. This place has a 5 star decor 4 star bar 3 star service and 2 star food. Not saying the food is bad but if I want good heated up frozen food I'll stay home. However the place is hopping. Super nice atmosphere. Good prices for this type of place. So come drink, enjoy the live music and know that your giant pretzel came out of the freezer. Which is okay with me under the circumstances. read more

We just moved our girlfriend into her new apt. (3rd floor- no elevator) when she offered dinner out, but somewhere we hadn't been yet. We aon Kitchen our destination for dinner. Great decor, excellent service & food, plus live music! The pretzel is huge and wonderful. I had the crawfish cauliflower soup. Very good. Chris & Gina split the black & blue salad and the smoked ham & bean soup. Everything... and I mean everything... was wonderful. Y'all have to try this place. read more

Absolutely terrible. Ordered chicken wings at 6 pm. Told 30 minutes later they didn't have any. Re ordered chicken sandwich. 40 minutes later I get a cold chicken sandwich. One of our party of 6 ordered Mac and cheese. Never came. Manager Justin came over and told us mistakes happen. No compensation, no apology. Then Justin got argumentative with us. Not sure who hired this guy but maybe someone in management should go in and do an evaluation. I don't recommend this place. read more

What a gorgeous and delicious place to eat. The first time we tried to go we got there too late on a Friday and it wasn't possible to even get in. Keep this in mind if coming from out of town like we did. The second attempt was successful, we all decided on the array of burgers they have to chose from... we weren't disappointed at all. Great service and live music with a photographer who will take photos and sell you a keepsake later. It was an experience! read more

My bf were on vacation and just stopped in to check the place out but ended up staying for lunch. They had EVERY NFL GAME ON! We're huge football fans so this is a must go spot in football game days. We were enjoying the games and didn't notice our food taking a while but the staff did, they came over to apologize multiple times and even comp'd our entree's! They were so so apologetic! They went above and beyond for us. The food was awesome as well. read more

I enjoyed trying the new place in town. There was live music, so it was a bit loud. Walked in, plenty of open tables on a Monday night. Service was great. I started with the deviled eggs, excellent appetizer, never had anything like it. I ordered the grilled cheese sandwich with a side salad, it was more than I can eat. Good stuff. read more

Terrific new restaurant in the tourist area of St. George St. in the Old City section of St. Augustine. Nicely themed, full and impressive bar, tables and booths to enjoy the menu. Food is different, made on site with fresh ingredients. Service was excellent, attentive without being intrusive. Milkshakes are amazing. One may order them with or without their favorite alcohol. They arrive as an impressive handspring concoction that is not to be missed. Parking is an ordeal in the Old City. It can take 45 minutes to find a parking spot, so that is a real deterrent to going anywhere there. Additionally, the noise level in the restaurant is very loud. We had fun, ate well and will definitely be back. This is not your typical tourist trap. We commend it to you. read more

This place has hit a home run ! Designed perfect , and spot on with an identify and theme! Really cool to eat upstairs . Food is really good, and plenty of beers and cocktails ! The bar is huge !!!!!!!!!! Tons of bartenders to provide service!! This place can get a little busy but worth trying out of sure! Also has a good amount of live music on stage throughout the week ! read more

Go early or make a reservation. This place has really great food. Mac and cheese was killer, both burgers we order were cook perfectly and tasted great. Their wings had the best sauce I have had, Iand I have tried a lot of wing sauces. After they shared where they get it I was able to order a bottle for use at home. If you can get in it is definitely worth it read more

We looked at places to eat when we were planning to come to St. Augustine for the weekend. We saw this place and thought the menu and drinks looked good so we decided to try it out. We went for dinner Saturday night. We got drinks while we waited for our table. A band was playing so we got to enjoy some music. The food was really good. My boyfriend had a bacon burger and I had a veggie burger. We both enjoyed our food and the place. We plan to go again the next time we are in St. Augustine. read more

I went due to being invited by friends. While The Groove Coalition was WONDERFUL, Prohibition Kitchen themselves were less than. We were promised service on more than one occasion and never got it. I'm very disappointed as this was my first visit. I had no cell phone service ...no liquor...and no food. NOT HAPPY!!! read more

Excellent food, even better drinks, and great service. Started with the giant pretzel, which was delicious and had the perfect soft, easy to tear texture. The beer cheese was good but a tad loose. I got one of the burgers and it was really fulfilling. Highly recommend. I didn't care for the live music, but I'm sure other people appreciated it. Not my thang. read more

The giant pretzel with beer cheese was the best pretzel I've ever had! The beer cheese wasn't as authentic as I'm used to but it was still good. The service was pretty good and the atmosphere was definitely awesome and gave the "prohibition" vibe. The actual food we ordered was very underwhelming and not worth the price tag at all. I would recommend spending money on an appetizer and maybe sitting at the bar and getting drinks instead. Overall, not that bad but definitely over priced. read more

Loud bustling college hang out with live music snd casual dinner options. We're on our honeymoon and hears so many great things about this place had to check it out. My husbands burger and fries were fine, but my Kale salad the only healthy option had a extremely salty Goddess salad dressing . When I politely , made mention of this to the waiter, she didn't give a damn. Astounded. great live music, but they seem to cater to s college crowd. The manager contacted me immediately. which I was amazed, apologizing. My suggestion, hire a wider variety of waitresses and waiters of all ages . read more

very accommodating to dairy allergies & veganism~ lots of vegetarian options and they're accommodating when ordering dairy free. great service for a busy night- I recommend the bar for snacks and drinks while you're waiting (the fries & their kale side dish are amazing). my only recommendation for them is to go straw free and be more eco friendly :) read more

Do not even attempt to come here on a Saturday night. SO BUSY with up to 2 hours wait time. We had just gotten to St Aug our first day and every good restaurant was totally booked out. We decided to just place a to go order and we are glad we did. We ordered burgers, Brussels sprouts, and their milkshakes! Wow! Everything was so delicious we came back the next few days to grab lunch while in the city. The staff is nice, not super attentive but not bad either. Highly recommend them because they have good food and shakes are unbelievable, especially their boozy ones read more

Definitely a return spot for another trip while travelling. The acoustics in the place need help... loss of a star. The live music is a great touch but that coupled with chatter noise a bit overwhelming for conversation. I don't understand why places aren't proactive this way. The menu looks amazing, and the bar staff was very attentive and friendly. I had them make a Sazerac off menu and for the whiskey lover I am,,, spot on. My husband and I stopped in for a before dinner drink as it is a new establishment about 7 months open now. The place is open to all ages before 9p so could be great for family meals. One of the TVs runs silent films for thematic prescence and decor is not cluttered but well thought out. Has a lot of potential and next time I'm ready to experience the kitchen offerings as coming soon late night kitchen offerings will be available past 10 as last call is 1am. Well done St Augustine as this is the third restaurant owned by the same people as the Chianti Room. read more

We have been visiting St. Augustine several times a year for the last 15 years. When we stumbled upon The Prohibition Kitchen yesterday we were delightfully surprised. So, we went in with a party of 7. We had 4 adults and 3 children. We were seated upstairs at a table just above the stage. Which we thought was great. Our server was very knowledgeable about the menu and was super friendly and prompt. She helped us select beers from the extensive beer menu and got the children their soft drinks. We ordered boil peanuts and deviled eggs as appetizers. Both of them were absolutely wonderful. The peanuts were just spicy enough. For dinner we ordered the burgers and sandwiches. Everything we ordered was absolutely excellent. Our favorite order was the Short Rib Grilled Cheese. For dessert we ordered the chocolate brownie milkshake. This was IMPRESSIVE. It was SO good!!! At the end of our meal we chit chatted with the waitress and she let us know the Prohibition Kitchen is owned by the same people who own our other favorite restaurant in downtown St Augustine, The Chianti Room. This restaurant is excellent and a great addition to St George Street. read more

My favorite place in town. Love the atmosphere here especially the live music every night. The food is amazing. We got the pretzel with cheese sauce and it was big enough to share. I've really only ever had the whiskey bbq burger and I love it Everytime. Plus they have some really good cocktails. read more

Manager and wait staff were very nice. All were practicing safety protocols...face masks and social distancing. The food was good. Not amazing, but good. Only down side was a fishy smell. But not sure if that was due to the recent rain and proximity to the water or something in the kitchen. read more

Had a unique and positive dining experience at Prohibition Kitchen in St Augustine, Fl. The environment takes you back in time. Modern technology like TVs have sports playing that are combined with old time ambiance. Hubby and I both had the lobster roll, fries and salad. Delish!! Live music 6-9 every day. Cool stage and backdrop. Great server, named Lael, was very informative and friendly. Be sure to ask for him and you will get great service. Overall it was a wonderful experience and I highly recommended this restaurant. read more

Service was sub par at best. Definitely would expect bigger portions with the prices, especially on the appetizers. Great atmosphere, but that is what you are paying for. Drinks are also quite pricey and not necessarily the best quality. We were missing food that we ordered, asked three different people to help us because we could not find our server after the runner dropped the food off. Finally got someone to track down our server to get the food. Very disappointed. Do better!!! read more

The combination of imaginative cocktails, exceptional food, and a unique atmosphere makes every visit memorable. The cocktail program is outstanding. We enjoy trying a variety of their exotic and inventive drinks, and they never disappoint. The flavors are bold, creative, and unlike anything you'll find at a typical restaurant bar. The Yellow Submarine cocktail is quite possibly the best drink I have ever consumed. Made with curry-infused Bermuda black rum, lime, ginger, and Asian five-spice brown sugar syrup, it sounded unusual on paper but came together beautifully. I enjoyed it so much that I ordered four of them that evening, something I rarely do. That was three years ago, and despite returning several times since then, I have never seen it on the menu again. The food is equally impressive. Two years ago, I ordered the Skillet Roasted New York Strip served with Yukon Gold potato-anna, roasted asparagus and spring onions, watercress, and black truffle hollandaise. To this day, it remains one of the top five restaurant meals I have ever eaten. Every component on the plate was exceptional. The steak was perfectly prepared, the crispy potato galette was irresistible, and the black truffle hollandaise elevated the entire dish to another level. It was the kind of meal that stays with you long after the plate is cleared. I would gladly drive 300 miles just to eat it again. Most recently, I had the wild mushroom bisque, and it was the best soup I have ever consumed. Rich, creamy, buttery, intensely mushroomy, and perfectly balanced, it was everything a mushroom soup should be. The addition of crispy pickled onions and crème fraîche added texture and contrast that made an already outstanding soup even better. My wife and I enjoyed it so much that we returned the very next day hoping to order it again, only to discover it had already rotated off the menu. My only complaint about The Ice Plant is that some of their greatest creations seem to disappear as quickly as they arrive. While I appreciate the constantly evolving menu and understand that seasonal changes are part of what makes the restaurant special, there are certain items that deserve a permanent home. The Yellow Submarine cocktail, the wild mushroom bisque, and the Skillet Roasted New York Strip with black truffle hollandaise are three of the finest things I have experienced there. The fact that I can vividly remember one of these items from three years ago and another from two years ago says everything. Great restaurants serve good food. Truly special restaurants create dishes and drinks that stay with you for years. It was a pretty cold and uncomfortable welcome. That said, the restaurant is absolutely charming. I really loved the interior ambiance--it's cozy, well-decorated, and has a very pleasant vibe. The food was extremely delicious. We ordered the Half Pound Ice Plant Burger and it was juicy, fresh, and packed with flavor. You could taste the quality in every single bite--the meat was perfect, the ingredients fresh, and everything very well balanced. Definitely one of the best burgers I've had recently. Despite the initial host experience, I would return without hesitation for the food and the atmosphere. Highly recommended, but they could improve the initial greeting.

The problem I have with this place is not necessarily the food, but the management. I have been here 3 times now, trying to give this local place a fair shot. Maybe because it is still new and they are working out some issues, but the amount of disrespect that comes spewing from the kitchen is not tolerable at times. On 2 of my visits, my issue was with the same kitchen manager, Joshua Day. I asked my server what his name was for the purpose of calling the owners to let them know, haven't received a call back yet from them. On 2 separate occasions I have heard and witnessed this 'man' yelling at employees in the back, so loud we could hear him near the front where we were seated. We felt really bad for the person(s) he was yelling at, made us uncomfortable to be honest. At one time I walked to the end of the bar to just check it out, and there he stood in the window pass leaning up against the table twisting his beard hair with his hand staring off into space.... I mean, seriously?? GROSS!!! I mean this was over food people!! I don't know about you, but for me, I DO NOT WANT SOMEONE'S GROSS BEARD FACE HAIR IN MY FOOD!!! This is gross and should be a concern for the health department...I thought there were 'beard nets' to be worn by food service employees in this industry? No? Anyways, besides the issue of the beard hair, the yelling at other employees was enough for us to get our food to go. Truth be told, I didn't eat my food later either, just wasn't satisfied that my food was beard hair free, and what else is going on back there that we can't see!!! I VERY rarely make negative reviews, but this HAS to be known. I asked our server who the person was in the window doing all the yelling and she told me his name and position. When she saw the shock on my face when she told me he was in a supervisory position, she didn't want to say too much, but lead on that he is a real problem for this establishment, they cannot keep good employees because of him. What are the owners thinking?? What a cool place, unfortunate that the owners are letting a bad apple spoil the uniqueness of this space. Too bad. Walking down historic St. George Street, it is certainly easy to come across the Prohibition Kitchen. The external setting follows along the strip of businesses and does not insinuate the extraordinary experience that awaits. I visited around 6pm last Sunday for dinner. At this time they were preparing for a reconstruction of the restaurant so all perishable foods they would have had in normal circumstances, they did not have when I visited. Out of the very few things left on the menu they had, I chose a coke and the "build-your-own-burger." Rating Scale: Food/beverage quality: 10 - I choose a burger to eat almost every time I go here and it is always 100% freshly made all the way from the patty to the toppings inside. Food/beverage quantity: 9 - The portions for the burger and fries are extremely satisfying and I almost find myself not being able to finish the entire meal. Value for the dollar: 7 - Although fresh ingredients are used and appreciated, I still find their simpler items such as the burgers/salads to be a bit overpriced. Service: 10 - Nothing beats the service that you can expect here. The whole staff is very attentive and friendly. Decor: 9 - Although the outside may not be as pretty, walking inside is like stepping into a restaurant during the prohibition era of the 1930's. Everything is themed from the tables and lights to the dress of the employees. At first I was extremely disappointed in the selection of items they had available at the time I visited however, the amazing food, service, and ambiance I experienced during my visit help make up for that lack of experience. What a charming and delightful establishment! The atmosphere is a perfect blend of rustic charm and modern style, with a menu that's both classic and contemporary. But let me tell you, I was a bit befuddled by the German Style Pretzel. Now, I'm no stranger to pretzels. I've had them in Germany, in New York, in all sorts of places. But this pretzel at Prohibition Kitchen was something else entirely. It was massive, for starters, bigger than my head! And the salt on top was practically sparkling in the light. I couldn't help but wonder, is this a pretzel or a work of art? But the real revelation came when I took a bite. The dough was perfectly chewy and just the right amount of salty. And the cheese sauce that came with it? Oh my, it was like a symphony of flavors in my mouth. I found myself practically inhaling the pretzel, all the while wondering how something so simple could be so utterly delicious. But as much as I enjoyed the pretzel, I have to say that the PK Signature Burger stole the show for me. It was a towering masterpiece, with a juicy patty, crispy bacon, and a fried egg perched on top. And let's not forget about the cheese and special sauce, which brought the whole thing together in a symphony of flavor. I've had a lot of burgers in my time, but this one really stood out. The waiter named EADES is the worst. El camarero llamado EADES es el peor. I tell the story: I arrived with some friends for a few beers, I ordered two beers and when my friend, gay, immigrant and black, showed him his RESIDENCE CARD, that man told him that this was not a valid identification, RESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES, that he had to have a driver's license, when my friend doesn't have because he doesn't drive. I explained that that was the only identification of him and that man, if that human being can be called that, he literally threw our beer out, in front of us and the people who were in the bar. I asked to speak to the manager, a very correct man, but he did not solve our problem either. My family and I visited for lunch for the first time, and the restaurant itself was very unique. We loved the vibe and theme. Unfortunately, our experience took a disappointing turn. My daughter has a gluten allergy and ordered a burger on a gluten free bun. When the food came out, everything looked great, but after eating half her burger, she noticed the bun looked very similar to the regular ones. We asked our server to double check, and after checking with the kitchen, she came back and apologized, explaining that the buns had been mixed up and my daughter's burger was made with a regular bun. The server was kind, apologetic, and offered to have the kitchen remake the burger with the correct bun, which we appreciated. She also asked if we wanted to speak with the manager, but at that point, my daughter had already eaten part of the regular bun, so there wasn't much else to do. The new burger came out quickly, and my daughter took it to go. When we got home and looked at the receipt, we realized we had been charged for both burgers, the incorrect one and the remake. Overall, we were really looking forward to trying this place and enjoyed the atmosphere, but the mix-up and being charged twice made it an upsetting experience. read more

Despite its high Stepping into Prohibition Kitchen, we were immediately enveloped in the ambiance reminiscent of the prohibition era. The dim lighting added to the mystique, but the overall vibe was average, failing to fully transport us to the roaring twenties. Despite the promising atmosphere, our culinary experience fell short of expectations. My order of the short rib grilled cheese sandwich failed to live up to its name, lacking the essential grilled cheese essence. The taste was dull, requiring an extra dose of salt to awaken any semblance of flavor. Accompanying the lackluster sandwich were fries drowned in oil, quickly succumbing to sogginess and losing their desired crispiness. While the presentation of the dishes and service were commendable, the overall dining experience left much to be desired. Prohibition Kitchen earns a modest 4/10 rating from me, and I would only consider revisiting if there were no alternative dining options available. read more

Stopped in for Lunch on a Saturday while entertaining family from out of town. We had a party of 6 so I expected a wait. We were told about 15 minutes which I thought was very reasonable. Then within a minute we were told nope we will seat you right now! Awesome start to the experience. Our server Alex was quickly with us and took drink orders. Drinks came out, exactly as ordered. We had an issue with one of the drinks ( not the houses fault) but it was quickly replaced without hesitation. Food order taken and soon the table was filled with deliciousness. The table hit a variety from the menu. Burgers, shrimp, wings, grilled cheese, all commented how well it tasted. We had a spill at our table and the hostess stand crew jumped right over to take care of it. Got the opportunity to chat with the assistant manager Dave V who was more than a pleasure to talk with about our experience as well as other area eateries. So if your in the area and looking for a top notch place give them a try even if there is a wait, it will be worth it! read more

The atmosphere at this restaurant is fantastic--fun, lively, and perfect for a night out. The food is delicious and adds to the overall enjoyable experience. However, the service, specifically at the bar, left a lot to be desired during our last visit. We waited for over four minutes without being acknowledged by the bartender, which felt unnecessarily long. A simple "hello" or even a quick acknowledgment that we were noticed and would be helped soon would have gone a long way. Instead, we observed three bartenders standing at the other end of the bar, chatting amongst themselves. While the food and atmosphere are great, service like this detracts from the overall experience. A little more attentiveness and professionalism from the bar staff would significantly improve the guest experience. Party of 3 were seated upstairs in the back corner next to the register & drink station, which I don't have an issue with unless the waiters and waitresses gab really loud, which they did. The Irish coffee was nondescript and sad especially since the establishment is a Pub. The Moscow Mule's were yummy. The Bavarian pretzel was delicious. Crispy on the outside and soft & flaky on the inside. The cheese and mustard dip was so/so. The short rib grill cheese sandwich with fries was fantastic. Crisp Crunch of the bread with melted gooey cheese and shredded tender short rib meat... Recommend it! Small plate Crab pot pie was so salty it was inedible. After seeing the great reviews PK I knew I had to try this place. I didn't mind waiting as it was a holiday weekend and clearly a popular place. Unfortunately, it took over 10 minutes just for our server to come to our table and take our drink order. You could tell she was not prepared and not educated on the menu. Serviced continued to lag throughout the meal. I was hoping the actual food would make up for it but again unfortunately, my drink I couldn't taste the alcohol, the fried pickles were very salty and the lobster roll was subpar. If you're charging $32 for a lobster roll it better be the best dang lobster ever! Overall, it wasn't terrible but I definitely wouldn't go back or recommend to folks looking for a place to try. read more

Prohibition Kitchen knocked it out of the park! We grabbed seats at the bar and ended up having the BEST time. Between chatting it up with a mix of locals and tourists, and being entertained by the lively bartenders (who were just as fun as they were attentive), the night flew by. Food-wise--wow. The dry rub wings were finger-lickin' good, and that bacon burger? Absolutely mouthwatering. Hats off to the chef for serving up pure deliciousness. My espresso martini was perfection too, with just the right amount of frothy foam on top (a little detail that makes all the difference!). Add in some killer live music and a buzzing, speakeasy-style vibe, and it was the perfect recipe for a special Saturday night. Can't wait to come back! read more

I visited St. Agustine,FL today from California. I was was with my daughter & her family with my son-in-law's family. We we hungry, picked this restaurant to spend our money. FIRST- the waiting time was 40mins., SECOND, the waitress didn't come to our table for another 20mins., we all decided what we were going to eat. THIRD- it took an additional 45mins for the food to arrive FOURT--THE MANAGEMENT STOLEN CASH FROM MY DAUGHTER! FIFTH-- THE MANAGER & HOSTESS WERE UGLY HAD A NASTY ADDITIDE! WE ARE PEPOPLE OF COLOR, TALK ABOUT BEING PREDJUDICE & treating me and my loved ones like second classed citizens! Don't spend your hard earned money at this establishment! read more

Years back, I swung by with my girls, and man, did we have a blast! Awesome servers and grub made for a memorable time. Inside's pretty dim, which I guess is their vibe. Fast forward to recently, brought the fam for lunch, and let's just say the welcome wagon was MIA. Busy or not, they weren't exactly rolling out the red carpet--more like rolling their eyes. I only had a chicken wing and piece of pretzel before we left as the so called in house security failed to protect my wife from a group of libtards calling us Trump and other issues. Dankkkkkk alert! Get the wings and the blue cheese.. you will not be disappointed. The blue cheese is the best I've ever had, the flavor is phenomenal. & oh my goodness we got half honey mustard & half datil sauce for the wings.. SO GOOD. Their fries also taste super fresh... The burgers weren't the best I've had, but definitely super good. They also have live music every night! Ask to sit upstairs- solid vibes on a week day. Would love to hit brunch sometime. read more
