I used Prolific to help with a very persistent rat which was not easy. They kept on it until we finally caught it. Jesse was great at assessing the problem and figuring it out. Then came the real surprise, we needed to put a guard on some french doors that had a large gap for rodents to get under. I was worried about how it would look and match etc. Rene was incredible and came and did the job while I was at work. He told me that it was done when I arrived home and I was worried that I didn't get to have any input and he did an amazing job and I am very picky. He matched what I already had there but even better, he made it secure that no critters can get under it again. Rene was incredibly helpful and knowledgable and professional. Making an appointment was relatively quick and easy once I made an effort to call myself. Responses via email were inconsistent initially, but once I made the effort to call to set up an appointment, setting the appointment was 'relatively' quick and easy. I think initially when I called, I may have been forwarded to Jesse since his booking service didn't pick up (based on the other reviews, I'm assuming he uses a service to answer his calls and set appointments). I spoke briefly with him over the phone and he said someone would call back to confirm the appointment. I had to call back a few days later myself to confirm and spoke to the booking service. Although that call service may be questionable (could be better), Jesse arrived on time, didn't upsell me and honored the discounted price he quoted over the phone. Granted, we were moving into a new empty place and I had called for a complete treatment inside to help minimize any 'creepy crawlers'... We weren't asking for much (no major issues)... so my expectations may have been lower, but they were met to satisfaction. Not the cheapest in price for just an indoor spraying but I have no major complaints. The only thing that did bug me, no pun intended, was that there were some power cables plugged into some outlets and Jesse did spray on top of them, instead of just maneuvering around the cords. And I think in one instance an empty box was up against the wall... he sprayed around it but didn't bother to pull the box away from the wall to spray the corner/wall. Not a huge deal, since from my past history with most pest control services, they won't bother moving things around anyway... but since the place was virtually empty and it was just one box... I would have thought it would have been more thorough if he had just moved the box a few inches. If he had done those few things he would have exceeded my expectations and this review probably would have been a 5 star instead... but I would still recommend Prolific Pest Control. read more

Jesse answered the phone immediately and took all the time I needed to discuss the issue I was having with insects at my office and propose a solution. He was down to earth and concerned about making me a happy customer. So happy I hung up on the first exterminator I called since all I got was loud, obnoxious recordings. Jesse was a breath of fresh air. Will update this review after the service. Although Jesse was happy to come quickly, I scheduled the service several days out to be sure I was here and had a chance to clear some brush near the building. Although I accidentally gave him the wrong address, he was very pleasant about it and took all the time I needed to confirm my needs and concerns, explain the service, and get my approval. He was so personable and professional! I asked him to only do the outside as I avoid interior pesticides. He assured me that in my case, this was appropriate due to no obvious major infestation but that he'd come quickly if there was an issue inside that was not resolved by the external treatment, offering bait traps as a possible choice to avoid spraying inside if inside treatment proved necessary. He also explained the range of choices of pesticides, including organic botanical oils. He is prepared to meet the needs of individuals, and this truly impressed me. Jesse went around the outside of the building, carefully removing spider egg sacks, wasp nests, and other signs of insect presence. He's not someone who rushes to get out of there. He is very detailed in his work. He was quite amiable about my need for him to move a couple of items from the exterior wall that were too heavy for me, though I would not have expected him to move anything and am not saying he will agree to do move your property. He's still out there, so I'll finish the review when he's done. What I can say at this point is that he's all about meeting customer needs and building good longterm relationships. I am only buying a one-time service, but he's treated me like we are in a small town and will see eachother at the post office regularly. You can tell that he owns the business and cares about his customers. He just finished and knocked on my door to review and remind me to call if there are any bugs inside. He also did something incredibly generous. I don't want to say what it was because I don't want anyone to expect him to do more than he's agreed. However, I would just say that he's got your best interests at heart and as a result he's the best deal in town. I'm now editing this several weeks out to say that the problem I was having with ants coming in virtually ever crack and crevice is completely gone. His service was effective, and I have not seen an ant since shortly after he came. I would also say that the things he moved for me were as I had left them, and I did not smell any chemicals or see any stains anywhere. None of the vegetation died, and there were no problems. He hasn't pestered me to buy more services, and I feel I could call him about any pest related issues I was having if I had more. While mine was a one-time service guaranteed for a limited period of time, it's lasted a while and I expect it will last longer than the guarantee period. I'll be happy to call him back for another service if over time I develop any more pest problems. I also recommend him for regular service if you have a property that requires it, such as a series of rentals. I say this in part because of his good service and in part because he is the type of person I'd feel comfortable having on a property regularly if I had tenants. read more

Jesse and Tito are so professional and really nice people, first of all, and if you've seen my reviews in the past, you know that nice people will always earn our business over and over again. Next, Tito found the source of our bug problem immediately, whereas we had another company come out and they didn't find anything. Now, I would be skeptical if the bug tito found was the only one, but after he showed me what they looked like (teeny tiny bird mites), and I saw it actually scurry away...I saw one on our brand new mattress! Yikes! He fogged our house, and it's been a week...and no more bites. I'm actually freaked out by chemicals, but this was worth it to not get bitten anymore by such tiny bugs that an untrained eye generally can't see. Jesse came out a few months ago for one rat that was in our attic. He caught the guy within 48 hours, and we haven't had an issue since. Jesse to the rescue! I was home with my two toddlers one evening and we heard a terrible noise in our attic. My husband was at a work function so I knew I was on my own. I DO NOT deal with bugs or rodents well so for me it was a real crisis. I grabbed my phone and looked up any/all pest control providers in my area with decent reviews. Unfortunately is was almost 5pm so I had to speak to answering machines. I started to panic because the critter in my attic was noisy and disturbing. As I was searching the Internet and dialing numbers, a call came through and as luck would have it, that call was from Jesse at Prolific Pest Control. I had just dialed him and he was the first to call me back within a matter of minutes. Jesse came right over to my home and got to work. I was so relieved. He was knowledgable and intent on fixing our problem. When my husband arrived home, Jesse was finishing up his inspection and setting traps. He truly wanted to catch whatever was in our attic and he was relentless. Early the next morning Jesse came back. He caught the critter and explained the next steps to ensure our home would be prevented from future pest problems. From that point forward, our experience with Jesse was fantastic since he is punctual and professional. He sealed off openings in our home in addition to trapping rodents.
