Loved the breakfast. This spot is a great afternoon chicken joint, so breakfast seems less intuitive. We tried the bacon egg and cheese breakfast sandwich. It had some quite soft bread with a light egg, bacon, cheese, and ranch mayo sauce. It was soo tasty! The lady that I spoke with was extremely knowledgeable and friendly and made me feel completely safe with my decision to order. I ordered the fried chicken sandwich gluten-free with a side of fries and the brown Butter brussels sprouts which were also gluten-free with a side of ranch and their whipped blue dressing. I love proposition chicken but this location is hit or miss. The last time I ordered from here, my order was cold and the fries were cold even though I was eating right there. I couldn't even bite into my flipped sandwich because the lettuce was welted and gross. Then when I ordered for delivery tonight this time around, my order was warm and the way it should be. My wedge cut fries were nice and crispy but they only gave me two fries for some reason which was SUPER disappointing but the sandwich was nice and warm. I'd get the fries because I found the chips that came with the sandwich wasn't as satisfying. But I can eat that slaw and fried chicken all day. My gluten free friend also said this is THE BEST place to get gluten free fried chicken. His exact words were "like, I am incredibly afraid for prop chicken to close one day because I wouldn't know what to do with myself." I ordered the chicken entree and while the flavor and the chimichurri sauce was really good, the portion was so small I would need more than double to feel satisfied. My go to was the "fake" sandwich which was fried tofu with slaw. I'd always get it vegan and gluten free with wedges but they no longer offer vegan/gluten free potato wedges or fries. The owner reached out to me a few minutes ago letting me know their supplier changed the potato wedges and now the coating has gluten. He said they're seeking alternative options and can't offer vegan fries anymore due to limited space. The space itself is a little cramped, but it's not bad if you order ahead and are only in the shop for pickup. There are typically a lot of people in the small space waiting for their food. I've always had good luck with ordering ahead. It's always been there ready and waiting before my scheduled pick-up time. In, pay, out, and then on to the coffee shop next door. The experiences here can get a little inconsistent with their other food items, but you can always count on their salad to hit the spot! And (most of the time) their fried chicken sandwich too.
