The soy garlic chicken, again had a nice crunch, but there was barely any flavor/sauce on them. Great service, hella friendly staff. At first I thought the wings were kinda pricey, and I almost passed, but I ended up ordering the Special Sauce. Glad I did, because damn, those wings were big. The chicken here is done really well. It's probably been six months since my last visit. They fry their chicken really well where it's still crispy from pick up and the ride home until you're ready to sit down and eat. I noticed today that the wings have shrunken in size and that the wings were not as well coated in seasoning/sauce as they were before. I tried bb.q chicken for the first time today during my lunch after hearing about it on IG. I would first like to say it's quite pricey at $19 for 8 wings but I still tried the original chicken. By the look of them they looked good and crunchy but once I bit into them I could taste the old oil it must've been fried in. I could only eat 3 the taste was so bad and I've been feeling bad ever since eating them. I sure the wings are good but I must've came on an off day. Tried two flavors based on the cashier's recommendation - gangnam and honey garlic. Between the chicken, I liked the gangnam one better because it had more flavor. I was told that honey garlic is their most popular flavor but it didn't stand out in my opinion, was good but not wow. The chicken comes out HOT HOT cause it's made to order so expect to wait 15-20 mins after ordering. The chicken had a nice crunch to it, I really enjoyed the texture. I think when the honey garlic chicken cooled, the flavor came through a bit more. The woman behind the counter was also really friendly and helpful. My only complaint is that you can't mix and match your flavors so it can be pricey if you want more than one flavor. Our total came out to about $70 for everything. Wow the honey garlic wings were still crunchy about an hour after delivery! Great breading, it's sort of flaky and scaley, I assume some sort of corn flakes type of breading?? This chicken is perfectly crunchy, to where you get the satisfying crunch sound but it's also easy to eat and doesn't hurt your mouth... I think this could be my favorite fried chicken?? I was definitely hungry when I ate them, and had also been devoid of Asian food for a while before then...so I guess I need to go back and test it out again. One of my coworkers recommended this spot for lunch, so we decided to check it out. I will say the only thing I regret about going during lunch during the week (besides hunting for parking) is not being able to fully enjoy this wing adventure. Since their inception, I've always leaned towards the bb.q franchise for its consistency.
