Props had great customer service and the food came out pretty quickly. I liked the airplane themed restaurant and the waitress was knowledgeable about the dishes. I would have liked for the portion sizes to be larger or at least a larger waffle with the fried lobster for the price of the meal. My personal preference would have been a waffle crispy yet still soft. But the waffles with my meal were still good and didn't even really need syrup. I enjoyed the fried lobster the most - it was fried just right and had a flavorful taste. For the appetizers, we had fried green tomatoes and the crab & spinach dip and those were pretty good. The fried green tomatoes were fried harder than I like, but they were seasoned really well and the sauce that came with them was good as well. The crab and spinach dip was good as well. So could be a five. They have a special board when you enter. Non of the bartenders new specials so I took a picture of it. They were out of most of it at 6pm. Service was good. Food comes out fast. Had 3 or 4 bartenders working a pretty small bar. Food was good. Not great but good. They have a bunch of "support the military" stuff on the walls but apparently don't offer a military discount. I asked the bartender if they did and got "mm I don't think we do". No biggie but it's gives the wrong impression. First of all, we went here for an anniversary dinner because of the Elite reviews. My wife and I were both disappointed and both disagree with 5-star reviews. The food was just good, nothing to complain about, but by no means was it great. It was overpriced. There is nothing unique about the menu or the experience that can justify the prices being as high as they are. The service was just fine and the waitress was attentive. It was a basic experience that any restaurant should provide. If I had never been anywhere outside of Warner Robins, my expectations may be different but my wife and I are just stationed here and both grew up in cities. From the outside, we thought this was an upscale restaurant, but when we got inside, we found out that it's not. I wasn't even wearing a suit, but we both felt overdressed. We went on a Monday at around 6pm and it was packed. We called ahead to check if we needed a reservation and were told no. When we got there, we ended up waiting about 30 minutes to be seated. It was just my wife and I and we were seated at a 5-top round table in a back room that had two big screen TVs playing football and felt more like we were in a cafeteria or sports bar. There was nothing romantic or intimate about it. Please understand that I am not bashing this establishment. I'm just trying to give an accurate depiction for anyone that may also be stationed here with big city expectations. My wife and I agreed that neither of us will come back here. Oh my goodness well deserved 5 stars. I'm from Warner Robins. I moved away 6 years ago. On my visit back this weekend I was so surprised to see so many awesome bars and restaurants to include PROPS. It was busy on our Saturday afternoon visit. Service was absolutely spectacular. Sierra explained her favorites on the menu, was attentive, friendly and added to the overall experience of our meal. There is an expansive menu but there were several specials that also peaked my interest. One thing about the specials is they are indeed special. We couldn't resist egg rolls for the table as well as bang bang shrimp. I especially love the egg rolls as we found they are the owners mothers recipe and she hand makes them daily. Some of the entree samplings were the prosciutto wrapped halibut with risotto and asparagus. This went over very well. Not going to lie, was a bit taken back when we got the receipt and noticed it was $37. Wow! Not quite sure if it was worth the price tag but very well executed and very fresh fish. My shrimp scampi was probably the best shrimp scampi I've ever had. The sauce was delightfully lemony and full of flavor. Love love love this place and would absolutely revisit when visiting in town again. Give it a try. read more

We've tried so hard to love Props but after 4 visits, we cannot based on service and food quality. We've tried dinner twice, lunch once and breakfast once. One dinner was pretty good but the quality did not meet the hype. First time ordering Lobster Mac n cheese was a good experience, second time a month later, they only served half the portion for the same price! The breakfast visit was horrible. We ordered omelets and had grease floating on the plate. The omelets were not fluffy at all and potatoes were hard/overcooked and definitely overpriced! Everyone in our party agreed that we would have gotten a much better breakfast at Waffle House! Love to support local but We've made our last trip to Props! read more

Ok, so I tried Props right after they opened several years ago. I was not at all impressed, so it took close to 3 years for me to give it another shot. I'm so glad I finally did. And to make sure it wasn't a fluke I've been back 3-4 times since then. We love a good Sunday Brunch, and those are few and far between in Warner Robins (and nonexistent in Perry if someone wants to get on that!) They have a great brunch selection as well a a huge menu. I typically tend to be suspicious when a restaurant offers too many choices. No one makes that much stuff great, but if you just ask your server they won't steer you wrong. So far the crab cakes, burgers, pancakes, French toast, lobster grilled cheese, quiche (no longer on the menu) and omelets have been awesome!! read more

While the spinach dip was presented to the table as a little watery, it quickly thickened up when it cooled down, and was wonderful! If you're a fan of fried calamari, there's is a must try and perfect as a meal by itself. And lastly, the drink was amazing! Went after work with some of the other managers. First thing you notice is that the parking lot is packed. The inside is spacious with a bar to the side. I honestly thought Props would be a higher end restaurant as they advertise it as a steak and seafood place, but the interior looks more like a diner. Most of the group ordered pasta and we had green tomatoes for an appetizer. One of our coworkers ordered the steak and was hugely disappointed. The steak was tiny and not a great cut. Would recommend going to an actual nice steakhouse if you want steak, especially if you are paying the same price. Service and everything else was ok, nothing to write home about. This is a nice place with a cool theme for flight enthusiasts. It's a sports bar atmosphere, so it can be a little loud, but not overbearing or distracting. I've been here a few times. I met friends here for the first time on a late Friday afternoon. The decor is nice with an aviation them (hence the name). Although the sign states Steakhouse, there are a lot of other options on the menu. And the dress is casual. I ordered a mojito, but after a couple sips I gave it to my friends because I didn't like the taste. Even they agreed, so I told the server, who removed it from the bill. The fish tacos topped with coleslaw were very tasty and I would order again. Unfortunately the side order of brussel sprouts were unnecessarily drenched in balsamic vinaigrette. There was no actual taste of the sprouts, and I barely tasted the bacon. So soggy, there was no crunch. Very disappointing. The restrooms were very clean, and the wait staff great. New to the area and heard how good and nice this 'joint' was. Went to celebrate our 13th wedding anniversary based off the recommendations I've got from locals. Surprised was an understatement. Why call it a 'joint'? It's no better than Outback Steakhouse, Buffalo Wild Wings, wild wing cafe, etc... From the way it was explained to me, it was a finer dining experience. It's not. Was in slacks and wife wore one of her nicer dresses. Everyone else had hats and sweats on. Some with socks and sandals. Some with hoodies and vulgar language. Not that I care, but definitely didn't match the description as explained to me by multiple locals. Now, food was great, but prices should definitely be $10 lower than advertised. Was planning on steak, but knew this absolutely wasn't the place to order one. It's not a steakhouse, it's not fine dining. Might as well been at Wild wing cafe. Probably won't be back as the food was way overpriced, and the atmosphere was not conducive of those prices. Get rid of the chandelier and throw a neon bud light sign up there. although tasty, I can get that food at any sit down restaurant. *Note- 1) Seat was wet with crumbs and food all over it. Disappointed!!! I have told people that Props has the best fried oysters in town. Not after Saturday visit. I went for the oysters-- they were over coated and over cooked. They were like frozen oysters from the grocery store. I told the server that I was disappointed. She said that she had never had a complaint about the oysters. The family enjoyed their streaks. They run out of stuff on a regular basis. We called in advance to insure a "to go" order wouldn't have any problems like in the past. We were told they had the item, 'no problem'. Arrived a few minutes later to a "ran out" of situation--the very situationwe were wantingto avoid via the phone conversation just minutes before! They did rush to the grocery store for ingredients (salad dressing) and after a wait produced a tasteless dressing I actually had to throw out! It was not made with their usual ingredients! Obviously, lacking in vital ingredients!! Waste of hard earned money and our time! We didn't call to complain, but this review is a warning to others to avoid the same horrible experience. BTW, and to restate again the fact that this was not the first time we'd encountered them running out of stuff. Who is doing the restocking and estimating of supplies needed?! Perhaps it's time to put someone else in charge of those vitally important tasks?! I doubt we'll ever return. Extremely long wait to be seated. We waited 1 hr and 15 minutes for our table. The chairs we sat in while waiting for our table was very comfort, for those after us who did not have a chair had a long wait standing. The service was so so. The servers were not what you would expect from an upscale restaurant. Maybe it was just the staff from the night we dined there. This is not a restaurant for children. Our teens were not happy with the menu options. My son would have preferred a ribeye or prime rib but there was not a simple steaks or prime rib one the menu. When the food was served it was not what you would for the big $$$$ of each dinner. The dinner looked more like a sampling of the dish ordered. Fortunately the food was not tasty, and each person left much of the food served on the plate. The only tasty item was the bread basket. After leaving we ran through the Wendy's drive thru after leaving since everyone was still hungry. So first time trying out, it was OK but the country fried steak tasted worse than anything I try country fried steak everywhere and by far was the highest price but the most gross steak ever would not recommend. the buttermilk shrimp was great and the drink was great, but you don't get tipsy, but it sweet and good.ohhh FYI.
