We were delighted to find a place that could handle a large group of 13 people without notice. We waited a bit but it was worth it. The presentation of the food was fantastic!! Look at the photos. The only drawback was the slow service but it was crowded and we were a large group. A few people ordered the AYCE catfish but it was different getting it ordered. Still overall a nice experience and we enjoyed it.

On a drive back to McDonough from Florida we stopped at Props for a quick meal before reaching home. Sports bar and a restaurant that you can go to for a celebration. Nice decor with music at conventional level. We started with the crab claws. We chose the sautéed garlic. They had lots of specials that wasn't on the menu and a full menu where there is something for everyone. We ordered one of the specials that wasn't a part of the regular menu It was a Denton Pork ribeye served with wasabi mashed potatoes a side of asparagus and topped with Korean bbq sauce. The most moist and flavorful pork we have ever experienced. Top notch in every way. also ordered . A props salad with blackened salmon. We finished our meal with a dessert from their specials which was a fried apple pie served with ice cream. Overall our meal was great, service was mediocre. Our server was friendly just not very attentive. We had to request items from other servers passing by. We will go back and give them another try

Stone Mountain Burger with Hushpuppies

They had a concept and stuck to it as much as possible. Did I feel like I was at the airport? No, I wasn't rushed or pressed for time in the slightest (thank goodness), but I can see the vision. Big bar in the center and seats around it. Servers as flight attendants. It was nice. Food was good too, not something all airports can boast. We got the carbonara pasta, the Stone Mountain burger, beer battered fish and chips, and their meatloaf. Everything was was good, including their passengers (sides). I upgraded my fries to parmesan truffle fries, and those were delicious though near the bottom, they were super, super salty. It also came with coleslaw, and it was my first time trying a sweet coleslaw, which I found to be refreshing with a light crunch. It paired nicely with the fish, which wasn't overly oily. Their tartar sauce was good, but I don't think enough was given. I suppose I could've asked for more, so that's on me. For a place supposedly known for their steaks and seafood, the pasta was pretty good as well. Props is a bit pricy compared to other restaurants in the area, but it's worth going to for the food if you don't care much for a themed restaurant.

I mean it's ooookkk... we were the first to arrive at the restaurant. The service could've been better.

Our server Dexter was absolutely amazing! He took care of our table! He definitely takes pride in his workmanship, the menu items described, very courteous and professional! The food was absolutely delicious!! I definitely recommend this restaurant

Prime Dip Sandwich with Truffle Fries

Went to Props today for lunch and it has been a while since I last went with my girlfriend. I believe they did a re-opening last week and they had all new seats and a new menu, so I was excited. Our waitress was super friendly and attentive to our table, always nice to have good service when paying a lot for a meal. We started off with some calamari and it had like a honey chili sauce on it, which was okay. It was just very sweet to me and I wish it had more chili than honey, but it was still good. I think it was like $18 for this appetizer. I love calamari, but I am not sure I would order it again. The calamari at Carrabas is better in my opinion. For lunch I ordered a Prime Dip Sandwich and upgraded my fries to truffle fries for an extra dollar. I think this sandwich was about $22 - $24. The truffle fries were fantastic and definitely would order these again. The presentation on the Prime Dip sandwich was a little "off". The flavor was there and it tasted good, but it was kind of falling apart. Most of the meat had slid outside the bread and I had to put it back together before attempting to dip it in the au jus. Overall, it was okay, but I was hoping for more than okay when paying these kind of prices.

Everything was actually pretty good. Not a big fan of the lobster tail. Our waiter Justin was Awesome! It wasn't crowded at all and we were able to sit down right away. 9/10 Highly recommend

For cocktails, my husband ordered the Mango Sunshine & I ordered the Cucumber Mojito. Both were refreshing & tasted good overall, but did seem quite weak. For dinner, my husband ordered the braised short rib from the Specials menu & I ordered the lamb chops, one of my absolute favorite foods. I ordered the lamb chops medium rare & they were quite overdone, with the last one I tried to eat being well done. The brussels sprouts on the other hand were quite underdone, and were solid to the point that I couldn't even stick my fork through them. I asked for asparagus as a replacement, which ended up being underdone as well. My husband felt his mashed potatoes were too salty & that his broccoli was cooked into mush, but had no issues with the short rib. On a positive note, the staff was very friendly, & the complimentary biscuits were absolutely delicious. Overall, for the high prices they charge at this establishment, it is absolutely not worth it. I do not think we will be returning.

Matthew was our server and we were never offered bread although the small plates were present at the table. The server Savannah was extremely pleasant and came through and saved this evening. But yet I was questioned when I asked for my steak to be medium. It was pretty crowded and the service reflected that. He seemed really aggravated at our table but we saw him chuckling it up with others. We should have dined elsewhere.

We love sitting at the bar--it's our favorite way to dine because it adds a fun, conversational vibe, and the service was excellent from start to finish. I ordered the ribeye with the Marsala mushroom topping, which was cooked to perfection and packed with flavor. My boyfriend went with the tortellini pasta with shrimp--it had a delicious, mild kick that really elevated the dish. We also shared a side of mushrooms, which were perfectly prepared and full of flavor. Their wine and cocktail selection is solid, though I was disappointed to see decorative wooden boxes for Quilt wine, only to find they don't actually carry it. If you're going to promote it with your décor, I'd love to see a bottle or two available on the menu. One small recommendation: if you're bartending, please avoid touching your face or hair while making drinks--especially when guests are dining at the bar. We love the transparency of sitting up front, but that means we also see things we might not want to. That said, our bartender was otherwise attentive, friendly, and made great drinks. Overall, a fantastic experience with incredible food, elegant ambiance, and attentive service. We'll definitely be back.

It is very upscale! Our server was nice but not intrusive. We received refills on time and requests were honored very promptly. My daughter ordered a mixed drink and it was good, she also ordered the Chicken Avery and she really enjoyed it along with the garlic green beans. The not so good (in my opinion): I ordered shrimp and my husband ordered the ribeye with accompanying mac n cheese and baked potato. The Mac N Cheese was so soupy you needed a spoon to eat it. Soupy in a watery way not a cheesy way. Baked potatoes were just alright. The skin was great with salt & oil. The inside was either overcooked or not fresh. Several of us ordered the potato and we all felt the same. The $50 ribeye was bland and chewy. My shrimp were comparable to Captain D's . I hate to say that but when I tasted of them that's all I could think of. I think it had more to do with the breading than the actual taste of the shrimp themselves. It was my daughter's birthday and she ordered the crème brûlée. She enjoyed it. The top was nice and crunchy but not warm. The entire thing was cold which was odd. All of the food we received wasn't hot it was warm at best. This is probably a one and done for me just bc the price doesn't reflect the quality of the food. We don't mind paying for something really great but when you feel let down after eating it's tough to go back.
