Okay, so hard to review. The wait was foreeeeeeeveeeer!! We put our name in for a table and had a drink and appetizers at the bar. About an hour later, when I checked with hostess, wait was still anticipated at 45 minutes. Ugh! So we waited at the bar, and ordered dinner at the bar, which also took very long to arrive. But despite the wait, the food was the best thing we've eaten out since moving to Georgia. Chili wings, crab claws, shrimp scampi, and frutti di mare. Delicious! Service was slow and seemed like no organization/coordination among employees, but hostesses and bartenders were friendly and welcoming. Planning to go back, and hoping it won't be as crazy busy. --------------------- We've since been back 2 or 3 times and the food quality has been consistently excellent! I have to give Props their props. Everything from the ambience to the wait and the food was impeccable. Riley the store manager kept us entertained while we waited for our table to be ready. She was extremely friendly and very knowledgeable. I think she was the best person to have at the front of the house. The portion sizes are huge and everything came out super fast and very fresh. Amazing every single time. The brussel sprouts are like candy. I LOVE them!! Our bartender, D is wonderful. We always sit right at the bar on date night. I enjoy the grilled seafood platter and hubby usually gets one of the Specials- which no doubt always is delicious! Gave me the hardest, toughest cut of beef I ever had in my life. $45 for a tough ribeye. Ridiculous!

I am a regular patron at Props but I've never written a Yelp review - shame on me! Dinner was amazing last night, as always. We had the Annie's Eggrolls for an appetizer and split the ribeye; both were spot-on! I had a midday change in my reservation and the team up front did great getting us seated. Our server Rachel, and the young lady training with her were both great. And the drinks, well, Megan and DC always make PERFECT drinks -- love them! We love the Mike's Mule and Cathy's Cocktail! It was Prom that night so, as you might imagine, there were a number of kids dressed up in their formal attire. Even with the influx of larger parties though, the staff did not skip a beat. Left a bad review on Google due to my poor experience with a reservation for a birthday dinner. In the owners reply, he basically scolded me for complaining and said that as a member of the military, I should be respectful of their rules and then "thanked" me for my service. I wasn't aware that serving my country meant I can't have an opinion. My review wasn't disrespectful, it was an honest account of my experience with the hostess. October 17th my sister-in-law-law and I were having lunch when we heard an older gentleman coughing loudly. His face was red , he was choking.. before anyone could react out the corner of my eye I saw a black streak running at full speed to the choking man he use the Heimlich maneuver and saved this man's life .. The food here was very good! This was my first visit and I was lucky enough to catch the philly cheesesteak egg rolls on special! They were simply to die for! I also had the cheese grit cake and the gumbo! All were delectable! I will definitely be dining here again in the near future! We called ahead to see what time they closed at 830 and the hostess told us they were open for an hour and a half. We got there at 915 and were rudely told that the kitchen closed at 930 and that they wouldn't seat us. Not sure what the deal is but perhaps a manager needs to teach the hostesses how to tell time. read more

Extremely long wait to be seated. We waited 1 hr and 15 minutes for our table. The chairs we sat in while waiting for our table was very comfort, for those after us who did not have a chair had a long wait standing. The service was so so. The servers were not what you would expect from an upscale restaurant. Maybe it was just the staff from the night we dined there. This is not a restaurant for children. Our teens were not happy with the menu options. My son would have preferred a ribeye or prime rib but there was not a simple steaks or prime rib one the menu. When the food was served it was not what you would for the big $$$$ of each dinner. The dinner looked more like a sampling of the dish ordered. Fortunately the food was not tasty, and each person left much of the food served on the plate. The only tasty item was the bread basket. After leaving we ran through the Wendy's drive thru after leaving since everyone was still hungry. If I could give less than one star I would. Had a reservation for a friend's birthday at 630. Didn't get seated until almost 8. DO NOT TRY THE OYSTERS!!!! If you like oysters, go somewhere closer to the ocean and enjoy them. Had 4 people in our group all get sick from them, and they were the only ones who had them. Then the drinks were not mixed at all. Tried the AFB, was straight cranberry juice. No alcohol at all. Wasn't worth the $9 for a tiny cup. My fiancé and I ate here on 08/28/2020 and it was our first time, and it could be our last because I don't like flies over my food. I must admit the food was amazing and our waitress (Nicole) was on point with our order. We had a nice table inside, but my only issue was the flies. I couldn't enjoy my Rockefeller Oysters and my Fried Lobster Tails with a Waffle, because I was fanning to keep the flies off my food. I took a picture of one fly landing on my bread basket. I was so disappointed by that, and when I mentioned it to the waitress...she apologized and that was it. I hated to rush to eat because I was uncomfortable. Alright so PROPS has a great brunch, however my first dinner here was terrible, see first review. So I decided to come back to try dinner again now that they are more established. I had the blackened chicken rigatoni which was actually really good. The pasta was cooked al dente and there was plenty of sauce present for a nice tomatoey flavor with a little pinch of spice. The chicken was cooked expertly and overall it was really enjoyable. My husband had the Po-boy and Mac and cheese which were both really good and we also had the calamari which was cooked perfectly. The calamari was tender and slightly crispy, with a good flavor. I wasn't a fan of the chili sauce I prefer marinara. The service is where they lost me on this visit. I made a reservation and still had to wait about 15 minutes for a table. A friend of mine at the table ordered the Man O War drink and they were out of the bourbon it was made with so he ordered a different bourbon. They came back and told him they were also out of that bourbon. So finally he ordered a third type of bourbon which they had, but they up-charged him for the bourbon he was forced to choose due to them being out of everything else he wanted. That was just unprofessional to me. I also was fighting flies the entire time I was eating which was a pain in the ass. I also had a problem with the portion sizes considering the cost.
