We ate here the night of our wedding and enjoyed every bit of the food. We had two appetizers, fried green tomatoes and Annie's Eggrolls. The eggrolls were my favorite. Then I had the chicken carbonara and my husband had the ribeye. And let me just say, I'll be getting the ribeye next time. Whoever cooked it, did an amazing job. Our waitress Jackie was so sweet and attentive. I'm pregnant and so is she, so she helped me get a mocktail and she did a fabulous job. It was so delicious. Absolute disappointment! Waitress (Brooke) was rude, withdrawn and too focused on other guests. The fact that 20% gratuity is automatic even with the worst service ever! My hubs and I had business in the area. So we decided to go to props many locals suggested it. Wow such a wonderful experience. We asked our server what was good he said everything. That's a bold statement! We had rigatoni with the pasta sauce and we added salmon and mushrooms. I loved that the skin was left on the fish. I also liked how they worked with us to create a pasta we both liked. We tend to share because portions are so big in many places. It was more than enough. I want to add the coffee was very good too! Robert was a great server he recommended the owners moms spring rolls. I believe it's his mom. You can tell the care in them. Not flash fried mash produced. I recommend them too! Okay, so hard to review. The wait was foreeeeeeeveeeer!! We put our name in for a table and had a drink and appetizers at the bar. About an hour later, when I checked with hostess, wait was still anticipated at 45 minutes. Ugh! So we waited at the bar, and ordered dinner at the bar, which also took very long to arrive. But despite the wait, the food was the best thing we've eaten out since moving to Georgia. Chili wings, crab claws, shrimp scampi, and frutti di mare. Delicious! Service was slow and seemed like no organization/coordination among employees, but hostesses and bartenders were friendly and welcoming. I have to give Props their props. Everything from the ambience to the wait and the food was impeccable. Riley the store manager kept us entertained while we waited for our table to be ready. She was extremely friendly and very knowledgeable. I think she was the best person to have at the front of the house. The portion sizes are huge and everything came out super fast and very fresh. Amazing every single time. The brussel sprouts are like candy. I LOVE them!! Our bartender, D is wonderful. We always sit right at the bar on date night. I enjoy the grilled seafood platter and hubby usually gets one of the Specials- which no doubt always is delicious! We had the Annie's Eggrolls for an appetizer and split the ribeye; both were spot-on! I had a midday change in my reservation and the team up front did great getting us seated. Our server Rachel, and the young lady training with her were both great. And the drinks, well, Megan and DC always make PERFECT drinks -- love them! We love the Mike's Mule and Cathy's Cocktail! It was Prom that night so, as you might imagine, there were a number of kids dressed up in their formal attire. Even with the influx of larger parties though, the staff did not skip a beat. In the owners reply, he basically scolded me for complaining and said that as a member of the military, I should be respectful of their rules and then "thanked" me for my service. I wasn't aware that serving my country meant I can't have an opinion. My review wasn't disrespectful, it was an honest account of my experience with the hostess. We called ahead to see what time they closed at 830 and the hostess told us they were open for an hour and a half. We got there at 915 and were rudely told that the kitchen closed at 930 and that they wouldn't seat us. I must admit the food was amazing and our waitress (Nicole) was on point with our order. We had a nice table inside, but my only issue was the flies. I couldn't enjoy my Rockefeller Oysters and my Fried Lobster Tails with a Waffle, because I was fanning to keep the flies off my food. I took a picture of one fly landing on my bread basket.
