I couldn't be more happier with Prostar plumbing. All I can say is that Prostar plumbing understands and empathized your pain points then provides solution very efficiently in timely manner. Incident : I ordered a brand new stacked washer and frayed that I have been waiting forever due to the supply chain issue. Apparently the delivery company or Home Depot failed to notify me that because the laundry room is on the leveled floor, we must have the drip pan installed according to some code which we were not aware of. All plumbing told me the same things that I needed the drip pan installed before they can put in the washer even though I have the drain already in the laundry room. I was willing to sign the waiver or whatever they needed,at this point I just wanted to have the washer to do my backed up laundry. I've called multiple local plumbing companies to get quotes. One guy came and gave me a quote and went back out to buy drip pan from Home Depot and then tells me the drip pan is back ordered and I have to wait another week to install. I wasn't going to wait another week. Plus the price he quoted was triple. Thank god I didn't go with them. This is where Prostar plumbing save the day. The very last minute I called Prostar, they answered my call and sent me a plumber right away. Surprise, they were also able to procure the drip pan. This was right before thanksgiving holiday, I was so thankful that I could get someone to come and find me a solution so I can wash my clothes. Plus our plumber mike wasn't trying to take advantage of the situation, he was genuine and did an honest work which I very much appreciated. Mike came and inspected the laundry area and tried to install the drip pan but at the end we couldn't use it anyway because of the drip pan trimming made it extremely difficult to fit the washer inside of it with the the height clearance we had for the laundry room. This washer was like 500lbs. I felt bad he tried to do this on his own that was a two man job. Mike was efficient in any way he can, very professional, easy going, but because he couldn't install the drip pan ( which was again, not his fault) he gave us a small discount. Like Wow! Mike gave us advice and made us feel safe with the way our washer was installed. He definitely has assured us that we were in good hands. I was extremely happy with the experience and surely i will be returning to Prostar for all my future plumbing related issues. I 110% recommend Prostar. You won't regret it! The Gas Company found several leaks in my home and shut off my gas. They told me to call a plumber and make repairs to get it turned back on. I called Earl at ProStar Plumbing. * Prostar does not have a Plumbing License * I was hesitant to write this review because the gentlemen that came to our house for leak detection were nice guys, which is the only reason why they're getting a mixed review of 3 stars and not 1 - but the fact remains this company does not have a valid plumbing license and when asked to provide a copy of their insurance they couldn't. I almost had this company re-pipe my entire house, if anything would have gone wrong it would have been a nightmare. According to one of the owners of the company, they're currently dealing with a bond issue and that's why their license is not valid. Note to the owners of this company, I will gladly remove this review when you resolve the bond issue and become licensed again. read more

This will now be my 4th time using ProStar and my 2nd review. Here's a quick summary of their visits 1. Dec 2020? They hooked up a watermaker for me that was left disconnected after the previous homeowner re-ran the plumbing to the kitchen bypassing the refrigerator. They also hooked up a gas line and reset a toilet. I previously wrote a review about this experience. 2. Nov 2021 I was remodeling a bathroom and the inspector made me dig up the concrete slab to put in a 2" shower drain line (previously had 1.5" where the tub was). They recommended a demo guy who spent 2 days jackhammering and then sent Mikail out who did the rough plumbing which passed inspection. Since this was an underground installation, Mikail had another plumber come out who specializes in new construction to verify everything was compliant with city codes before he put it together. Inspector came out next day and passed it. 3. Jan 2022 - I noticed water leaking through the stucco on the rear of my house off the master bath. Earl and Dalton came out and spent 3 hours opening up the stucco & accessing the pipes, draining about 2.5 gallons of water in the process. Somehow it did not leak back into my house and ruin any drywall, it was going straight to the exterior which was fortunate. They said due to everything being soaked (insulation soaks up water like a sponge) that they couldn't detect the leak till it dried out. I let it dry for a week, saw some small pin holes but otherwise nothing big enough to fill that area with water. I left this area open for 7-8 weeks and through a couple of rain storms to make sure the water wasn't leaking into the wall from the roof. It wasn't. Given the age of my home and the original pipes (the house has already had plenty of floods with the previous owner), I decided it would be best to repipe. By the way, they didn't charge me for this visit. I was amazed. 4. April 2022. Called Dalton @ ProStar to schedule the repipe. He said it would take 2 days and scheduled the guys to come out on a Thur at 8 AM. On the day of the repipe, 7 guys are outside my house at 7:55 AM. I let them in and give them a tour so they could see what they were working with. By 8:30 the entire house was covered in plastic sheets and the entire floor where they'd work had protective towels down. I couldn't believe how efficient this was. I trusted the guys and left the house for a few hours. I came back at 3 and they were almost done, by 4 PM the water was back on, and by 5 PM they were all gone and the house was back to normal (except for the hole to be patched). The quality of their work was very apparent. My house had older pex installed by the previous owners in some areas and not others. The rest was copper. Prostar wanted to replace everything for the reason of knowing it was done right and being able to warranty it. They ran all new water lines in a much more logical fashion than what I had before. Every line was insulated. They changed out a couple of fixtures for me and added 2 hose bibs to the exterior of the house. Dalton came out and personally fixed a leaking drain line. The entire team was clean, courteous, and seemed like they genuinely enjoyed doing their job. Everyone else told us to go with "the big guys" for the repipe but in my mind, I've already got the best plumbers in all of southern California and they never disappoint. With the big guys, you'll be treated like just another customer. With Prostar, you'll be treated like family. read more

Called this morning because our guest toilet was leaking at the base and backing up. We chose Prostar because my husband is former USMC and they had good reviews. So we had several issues that I was postponing, but I had to call them when my faucet started spraying water all over the place. They came out the same day. I had them look at my toilet, my shower that wasn't draining well, and replace the kitchen faucet. My husband, who is pretty handy, but can no longer do things because of health issues said that the plumbing that Dalton replaced was a work of art. He was so pleased. Called Dalton and his father (Didn't get his name. My apologies, but he's the owner) to clean out some of the drains in our family home and add shutoff ball valves for future irrigation. I put in irrigation by trade but typically never sweat pipe so I wanted folks with expertise that could do that part for me and they came through in spades.
