The concept is fun, the service is good, but the food was so-so. The meatball appetizer was nice but needed a bit more salt. The fig appetizer just didn't work for me. A little too sour. The margarita pizza had way too much sauce to cheese ratio, and again needed more salt. Beautiful decor, great music, and service. Food wise, the sandwich was incredibly fresh and crisp. Overall it was well balanced and presented nicely. The French fries were nice and crispy as well. Wow! Where do I start. We had such an amazing time here celebrating our girlfriends 30th birthday. We made a reservation for a group of 10 on a Saturday at 10:30am, and had no problems getting seated early, with only half of our group present. Ceasar was our server, and I honesty can't say enough good things about him! He made our entire experience! He made us feel SO spoiled, and had us all laughing the entire time. The chef even brought us out a beautiful plate of fresh fruit on the house to enjoy while we were waiting for the rest of our group. The bartender also brought out a special shot for the b-day girl. The food was phenomenal! We each ordered something different and everyone loved their food. I highly recommend the Breakfast Pizza & Eggs Benedict. You could easily share this with 3 people. We ordered a variety of dishes, including the Brussels sprouts chilaquiles, breakfast pizza, spicy crispy chicken wrap, margarita (ask for the rim to be lined with tajin - you won't regret that add!) and Moscow mule. All items were flavorful and attention to detail from the kitchen was flawless (including slicing the wrap into 3 to make it shareable for our party of 3 without us asking!). i wish there was more transparency about seating when we made reservations for a preset Valentine's Day dinner that honestly wasn't worth the price we paid. sadly, we didn't get to experience the gorgeous interior of the restaurant which had enticed us in the first place. since we had already put our card down for the dinner when we made the reservation, there was no way out of it without getting charged a cancellation fee. i would have rather ordered takeout and popped a bottle of Trader Joe's wine at home if it meant we could avoid eating overpriced food, siloed and shivering at the underwhelming restaurant exterior. not to mention, they offered blankets to those who were seated outside...but at a price $$$. again, food wasn't worth. lacked flavor. heart cutouts were cute though. read more

Eating at over 200 restaurants a year, one comes to observe a certain baseline of service and attentiveness. Walking into this well staffed, positively buzzing environment I was pleasantly shocked at the attitude and energy of every single team member. During my breakfast, no less than 6 team members stopped by to say hello, making sure I was taken care of. It wasn't intrusive, just warm and caring. I shared my experience with the manager Noemi (sp?) at the hostess stand afterwards, and told her that this was hands down the best service I've gotten in years. Went for dinner and brunch this past weekend for a bachelorette. The food was excellent and the service was just as amazing. For dinner we tried the lemon ricotta dip which was good. It came with bread and an option to have it with prosciutto which I thought made it even better. We also shared a margarita and Diablo pizza. They were both good. The Diablo had such a good flavor Brunch there was also excellent. We had a large group and was only able to order from the set menu. We had fruit, croissants, and other pastries prior to our meal. Such a nice touch! I ordered the breakfast sandwich. It was bigger than I thought so I was only able to eat half. I would have shared it if I would've known but I loved it! I also had an iced matcha latte. I'm not sure if you can order it sweetened but I recommend that if you can. I had to add sweetener to it. I prefer sugar in the raw but there wasn't any in our sugar dish so I opted for stevia in the raw. Would absolutely go back with a smaller group to order from the full menu! read more

My girlfriend and I came here to kill some time and have some drinks before our reservation across the street. Our reservation at the other restaurant ended up getting a little mishandled, so our stay was a little bit extended. This place has a small bar section but lovely drinks such as the Fig Infused Old Fashioned and the Final Rose. Chad, the bartender, was super thorough and has a fun attitude. We appreciated how he stayed attentive even on what seemed to be a busy night. We also had a quick bite to hold us over at one point and absolutely loved the the Margherita pizza! The sauce was amazing and it was the perfect portion since we didn't feel too full before leaving. By the end of the night, we wish we had just had a full meal here. I would not recommend. We went for Easter Brunch and was severely disappointed. To start, they are sleazy and go out of their way to make you have to spend more money. We ordered the bottomless bubbles which only last 90 minutes. After the second bottle the server didn't come by again for 45 minutes. At 90 minutes on the dot he came over and said "your 90 minutes is up. Would you like to purchase a glass?" Meaning he specifically waited to not return till after the 90 minutes so we wouod have to pay more. With the Easter bunch you can pick one entree. We are vegetarian and ordered an omelette with no meat. It can with ham. This I'm sure is just an honest mistake. It was simply frustrating that they couldn't get one request correct given it was the only adjustment ordered. Furthermore, after saying no to purchasing more champagne the server yet again disappeared to the point I had to go to the front desk to ask for him to be sent over so we can pay and leave. While waiting we for him to arrive we decided to have one last plate from the buffet. In the middle of eating our last plate we had at least 3 different workers come over and try to take our plate within 5 minutes. It was clear we were still eating the food as we were even chewing when they approached to take our plate. We felt they trying to rush us out and like we were no longer welcome. Which was odd given that we were waiting on them to bring us the check. Overall, not a good burnch experience and I do not recommend this place. read more

Top notch breakfast place in San Diego. Great omelet with the pesto potatoes. The omelet was perfect with the cheddar cheese, bacon, and bell peppers. The sourdough was a perfect complement to the whole breakfast. Live music in the morning and a trendy place for the 2020s. SERVICE - Our waiter was Kevin and what a guy. He was so friendly and constantly checked on us. We were waiting for one of our friends to come but even when we told him we were waiting, he would swing by and ask if we needed anything just in case. He was such a great server! FOOD Cracked Nutella Roll - Kevin recommended this! He said he was from France and this pastry was phenomenal from his standpoint. He was right! It was generally like a chocolate croissant but with Nutella. The pastry was so flaky and buttery. The Nutella was folded into every bite. Breakfast Pizza - I am a huge breakfast pizza fan and this one was tasty. I felt like it could have used more bacon or bigger bacon pieces though. These seemed more like bacon crumbles. My girl friends got the breakfast sandwich, Pendry breakfast, and omelette. They all seemed to enjoy their meals! Overall, this was a great little spot to meet for breakfast. If you're a mimosa fan, this place has a bottomless bubbles option where you get a bottle of champagne and specialty mixers. Service was amazing both times we went.
